Fractals after a certain point have a chance to drop rings and equipment. Would it kill for ANet to include a chance to drop Armor and Weapons like in SPVP reward tracks from the dungeon you’re in?

It could happen but it is unnecessary. The barter tokens are in the game so you can get that armor. Barter tokens are reliable. If you want the armor then do the runs. There isn’t a problem with that, not at all.

Giving away more loot make people happy right? No not really. People then just complain they deserve more loot elsewhere to match what they get in dungeons. They would probably complain they’d got a helmet as loot when they’d spent tokens on a helmet the day before. Or they’d complain that they found a medium armor piece when they wanted to save the tokens for their Mesmer.

Many use ping as an excuse, but with practice you can compensate for this, unless its over about 1/2-1s. In which case I would whine to my isp or get a new router.

(Anyway, yeah, that’s what tokens are for. If anything, i’d like the reward tracks of pvp to be nerfed as it’s easier to get dungeon skins by pvp than dungeoning)

That was more like a statement. I don’t see a point in adding those chests as you can already buy weapons and armor with the tokens.

No, to be serious I agree with you to 100%! I play with guildmates only so I can always rely on them.
PuGs will always be PuGs, casuals will always rage. Thats it..

It took me pretty long to settle down on my main classes until I decided to go for Warrior and Thief as mains. Got Ranger for third choice. I don’t like playing Ele, I simply never did and I am the worst Guard EU!
Just go to PvP and play through all the classes or if you have all classes on lvl 80 just run a view dungeons with them.. Check the current metabuilds or not depending on your playstyle!
Might take some time but that’s how I decided.

We run aetherpath pretty often and i saw some skins dropping there.
And according to your first post; I am a hardcore player and I go for challenging stuff but i do it because I like the challenge and not the rewards! MMO’s are made to please a big variety of players but you know that i am sure..
So Mr. Tequatlslayer, don’t tell what and why hardcore players do!

If you are able to talk/write in the chat I have no problems with doing a dungeon with you. If I do more with you depends on how well you did before + if the run won’t take 2 years!

My first one was howler before it had footsteps and the effect from minstrel isn’t bad imo.

Jerem, you forgot portals on mesmers; probably one of the best skills to carry pugs.

As some mentioned above, the most important part is to play a class you enjoy! I, for example, love Warrior and Thief but I don’t like playing Elementalist or Mesmer even tough those classes support the groups pretty decent.

The pro’s Jerem posted are all right (+Mesmer Portal) but i want to add that you should avoid Necro as the class is rather selfish.
Fractalwise would I pick a Guardian!

To be honest, I have to agree that Aetherpath is the best dungeon in this game. Without coordination, the puzzles will fail. Some bosses f. e. Slick n’ Sparki have unique mechanics. That’s personal taste I would say. I hate AC, some people like it!

I have to agree with Fenrir, it was a pain to read that thread. With “pink gear“ I assume you mean ascended gear ? If you really want to make Dungeongear ascended, then please make Dungeonweapons all legendary!

I like this idea. I think you should make certain requirements for people joining (zerk gear, basic tactics, etc.)! I also wouldn’t allow practice runs as you mentioned that you want it to be a PuG tournament. Classwise would I say that no team should have an advantage. Also wouldn’t I allow 2 or more players from the same guild per team. Maybe let players sign up as “Party Leaders“ and “Party Members“ ?

I like the idea quite alot and if time allows, I would offer my help here. Maybe we can get people from the bigger dungeonguilds into a “community organization“ team so every guild has someone or more to represent them ? Would be cool i think.

Just some thoughts, don’t /slap me please..

I enjoy the rewards, blaming my guildmates, PuG roulette, the laggs, having good laughs on TS and i enjoyed the tournament!

@TheFamster ; i completely understand your point man. I have been at the same point as you are right now and i still hate gettibg no reactions on our wishes and desires..
Just donating some gems for the tournament will not change the bad state PvE is in right now. But unfortunately they focus more on WvW and PvP Tournaments; best example. PvE Tournament is held by Players themselves; WvW and PvP Tournaments are held by Anet. But tbh. what should we do mate ?

I for my part will still help new players because i have been a noobie too back in the days.. Without the tips and general help i got from some players out there, i could not be zhe big bad elitist i am now..

The main issue in this game is people refusing to comunicate.
If someone says that he is new to dungeon X at the start, he will get threatened different than without saying anything!
Dungeons themselves are simple.

You can still spread out and GS camp bosses, but i know what you mean!

I have to agree with Purple. Thats life and you cant ignore that.
If you dont bring certain requirements to work / school, you will also not be there for long and neither wont you do stuff on the best ways possible..
If you dont want to do your job fast thats okay, but your boss /teacher might probably have a different point of view! But well, thats only „some„ people.

But well, i would trade my 8 spears and 4 tridents for a sword.

In my point of view (the POV of an elitist), its not elitists or non elitists getting rude because of different playstyles which cause those problems.
The problem is more like people are not able to read or just do not care alot about what other people write in their LFGs. When people join my group in nomads gear when i specifically asked for forserker gear, they either did not read/understand my LFG or refuse to fulfill my requirements. Those people then start to wonder why i kick them and and then come to the forums to create a post about how bad elitists are.
Simple!

You can also just stay in touch with the forums, there are always people with the same problem. Just get together, do the dungeins together or if you cant connect with those guys, go with [Noob]. Its not like doing dungeons is impossible now ..

Endboss doublehit spot has not been fixed, its just not visible that you doublehit him anymore. Just open the log and you can proove it!

Add me aswell, I know the tactics for fractals wven tough i hardly do them. But i still do daily dungeons and that stuff. Oh, i main war and thief!
