1. I’m from US.. I play on Sorrow’s Furnace — just pick any of the US servers.. they are not tied to a specific area. If you have friends that play on other servers, you can “guest” on their server for a 24 hour period. I believe you only get two guest passes per 24 hours.

When the Warrior’s RIFLE skills out DPS the engineer’s RIFLE skills…. then yes, engineers are broken in my eyes. Pistols are way too weak and the amount of shots the Warrior gets off is double. Flamethrower kit hardly does any damage and 50% of the time, doesn’t work as intended. Okay.. so this post is a bit ignorant. I know… but the skills are just way better for the warrior using the rifle.

I started gw2 perhaps just over 6 months ago and It feels like all we do in is grind, maybe it is fine for peeps who got gw2 when it was released?

Most peeps want decent armor and weapons, this is before you consider ascended trinkets, back piece and rings, then getting infused, if you add up the time the laurels take to get these and then the infusion and mats, its quite the grind in itself.

Now we are onto ascended weapons and leveling crafting, this is costly and you have to grind like mad for the mats and gold to be able to level crafting, then you have to make said weapon.

Next its onto ascended armor, again the grind to level more crafting and again the mats and gold required and the grind that goes with it.

I don’t want to be left behind and i am sure others feel that way too, on my main character i have got all the ascended trinkets and rings infused where appropriate, as yet have no ascended weapon ( grinding for it atm)

Now we are onto ascended armor and i still have the weapon grinding, will the grind ever stop?

All this and i would like a legendary, thou i don’t see me ever getting one, i have given up any hope of ever getting one like many other peeps, as i just do not have the gold or enough hours in the day to grind for that also.

Really Devs enough with the grind, let the peeps who didn’t get gw2 on release day have a chance to catch up, will you? please, pretty please with sugar on top.

Name one MMO where you can have everything you want, right away? Yeah, there’s not an MMO like that.

My real life friends quit for one reason or another, and I find this game so big and impersonal that it’s really difficult to make friends. Repping different guilds and the fact that the game is too alt friendly (I never know who the Hell anyone is in guild chat because each person has about 8 different names)

Perhaps I should stop blaming the game and just admit that I can’t stand 99% of the people I meet. I have taken a shine to a couple in my guild but I have very little in common with them.

I usually play alone while making the odd wisecrack in guild chat.

Being a Misanthrope is quite difficult sometimes.

Mostly solo/alone because no one I know plays this game anymore, yet I still really enjoy it. I make parties through the LFG tool, but no one joins.. so yeah. GG.

As far as I know, there are no addons. Quests are the heart icons on the maps.. kill the mobs or complete those activities around those areas and you’ll complete it.

There are major bugs that they found upon release — obviously didn’t do any testing before hand.

You just don’t understand the helm differences in/out of water.

Just because the server says “full” that ALL zones will be packed… keep in mind how long the game has been out… most of everyone is probably lvl 80 and already in the high end zones farming, etc… or doing all the dungeons for tokens.

It’s “full” because the server has reached it’s peaked limit of concurrent users… you probably keep wanting to play during a primetime of that server (based on time zone). Keep trying.

Log out, and then back in. Usually fixes most issues like that.

They don’t have a set schedule for patches — they come out whenever.

Anet does a good job with patching their games every day… even several times a day.
