Make sure you don’t have other “rewards” in the right side of the screen that you need to collect like story waypoints, heart rewards etc". Only 3 will show at a time, so you might need to open those rewards in order to push the other ones along to collect them. Just a thought.

Make sure in the graphics option that your “Frame Limiter” is set to 60 (your monitor should refresh at 60 Hz).

When it is set to the default “Unlimited” it uses up way too much RAM and really puts a strain on your video card. Try this and see if you notice a difference.

That issue should of been resolved according to recent posts from the devs. You might want submit a ticket.

I just read another post where a user was having this same issue, but did not say whether they had a Nvidia card or AMD card.

Are you sure the drivers you are using are official drivers and not unsigned beta release drivers?

Have you tried updating your video card drivers? If you have Nvidia, please go to their website and download the latest version.. same if you have an AMD card.

Did you have Task Manager open and monitor your CPU usage? Was it at 100% entire time? Sounds like you have something that is completely suffocating and bottlenecking your CPU from processing those apps to get them to run.

Have you recently installed other apps? Made any configuration changes or hardware changes? Scanned for viruses? Malware? Spyware? Run CCleaner.

It could be all sorts of stuff. We need way more info.

I use my guild bank for all my huge leftovers of crafting materials instead of buying those crafting expansions. I have to pull those items out of the bank, put them into my inventory, combine them, and then put them back in the guild bank to consolidate them. Kind of a pain, but I’m use to it now. But yeah, as most people said… it’s been like this since launch. It just doesn’t stack any items — you have to do that outside of the bank.

what if you’re in the army for example? Not everyone will be playing even weekly for years.

and that is why this is the cost of not logging in once for those 2 weeks, because the majority of players can do that, and the few that happen to miss it regardless of the situation, will have to pay

I was under the assumption (also by reading an early article about Season 2 content) is that you’ll be able to play ANY episode you missed during Season 2… and that GW article failed to say that if you didn’t log on during that time, you would have to pay 200 gems to access it. I don’t know if it was an early early article or what… but it was pretty misleading.

MN with Comcast here — tested download speeds.. very fast. Not being throttled.. able to download and install games from Steam very fast within minutes with large GB file sizes… GW2 launcher only getting from 0kb to 50kbs… and sometimes just stops at 0kb. Already using Google DNS servers — no restrictions on firewall etc.

Wow.. I wasn’t even aware of this because I haven’t been able to log into the game in quite some time due to current circumstances — I probably have like 2-3 episodes unlocked.. everything else I would have to use gems for…. just got a bad taste in my mouth. Oh well. It’s my fault I missed out I guess.

Now, I know better and will do my best to log in at least once per release during that 2 week time frame.

Do I want it in the same form it has been delivered to us this far ( aka Seasons) – thus meaning season 3?

No.

Why? Because the pace is too slow.

I would rather wait half a year and have a few days’ worth of content in a bigger patch/whatever you want to call it than have 1 or 2 hours of fun progressing through a story every 2 weeks.

I guess you can never truly make everyone happy. At least they are making an effort.

You can always wait for the season to be over and then play it all at once. I’ve barely touched Season 2 and I have a lot to catch up on.

I would expect it when the Living Story returns in mid-January.

I usually play on my Windows 8.1 computer, but since I’m traveling, I tried out the Mac client (on my brother’s computer) — and each time I go into the Trading Post (and then it doesn’t load), and then EXIT, the entire game freezes, but still plays audio (music and ambience). I have to use the FORCE QUIT option in the Finder menu.

You’ll have to tell the magazines to stop since three different MMO sites have said the same thing. Not saying it or saying it here holds less weight than that.

Not fixed. Still having a full bar of experience at all times.

They claimed they fixed it with a patch today… but I’m having the same issues.

It would be nice if they banned from sending gold/silver/copper in the mail. It would stop all the gold spammers/sellers.

And then it was announced recently that their LS formula isn’t working quite well anymore and all this is probably gone out the window. They did mention that they have a few teams doing some BIG things (possible expansion, not LS) that will shake the world of Tyria.

The ONLY time you encounter ruined mats, is when you are using salvaging materials that are LOWER level than what those nodes need, usually in the leveling area (etc 15-25, 25-40). Using a level 10 pickaxe in a 25-40 area with copper nodes could possibly result in ruined materials.

I’ve mined during battle, and I’ve had no ruined materials.

My server does the order like he described.. the southern waypoint is lane #5.

I love Diablo II, I really enjoy Diablo III (console versions are supreme), and I am still in love with Guild Wars 2. Way too many haters out there. If you can’t enjoy the game, please go enjoy another game elsewhere. Simple as that.

Only noticed it during the Marionette event in the lanes.. about 3-4 second delay on using skills. Outside of that.. no issues. I believe it’s just server lag. Most of the time in the lane, the champion robots were just standing in place doing nothing the entire time.

Yeah, this happened to me as well. I had to restart it and then it worked.

Delete all of your characters and then you can freely move to another server at no charge. Make sure to put whatever you need in your bank first before you delete your characters.

And what buffs did you have on you?
