But yes, there was some pretty fun times in this one, TC gets a ‘Much Improved’ medal and unfortunately by the slimmest margins, FA gets bronze.
BT had heard all about KnT, sadly I do not think our paths have crossed on the same BL, at least to my memory. Maybe we fought on a night I wasn’t on. :]

BG and FA, i sincerely hope you guys pulverize TC into tiny bits of RP’r dust. I’ve never played against a server that constantly complains so much about everything. Needless to say it was a great joy spawn camping them to the extreme ( trebs, ballistas, shame ram trains and barricades). I can trully understand why FA detests TC so much now that i’ve played against them.
Oddly, the first time SOR faced them, i dont recall them being this way.

Anyway, despite all the forum warriors and chest thumpers from all 3 servers.
This week has been a blast, loved fighting maguuma yet again just like I loved fighting you guys back in the day. Can’t really name specific guilds since you guys are basically 1 big guild and happy family.
Dragonbrand, you guys are my favorite opponents by far though, and have a lot of good guilds. BP, Krew, NNK to name a few
Oh and of course AoN, nothing but respect for you guys, you play for the fight which is what’s important.

Krew decided to take a break from defending our bls and we were just roaming and hitting camps on mags bls having some fun. Ran into BT guild alot lol. Epic fight we had in the center island that moved all the way to the skill point at the south camp. I think we dropped 5 different portals to hit ur grp as u guys did the same to us ahahaha. Nothing but respect for BT. Great fight.

Since there is no number that when reached says that you are a zerg I wont comment on that part, However 15-20 man roaming party is most defiantly not the norm. I will say that being a zerg has less to do with the numbers and much more to do how they approach a confrontation.

Zerging = people who use numbers rather then strategy to defeat the enemy, therefore requiring no skill.
It’s amazing that every video people have of “beating” OG they always outnumber us, strange how that happens.
Yes you are right Bunzy we have no skill, you only use strategy when you have 10 people, anything besides that is zerging.

I don’t really think BT is a zerg guild. Most of the people I’ve talked to find BT to be our biggest challenge, and we all seem to respect you guys. Just ignore the forum warriors who say otherwise.

I won’t condemn an entire server but guilds like BT badge farming is annoying and sucks the fun out of WvW. I am hoping those guilds run into Kaineng so they can feel the multi-zerg pain. In the long run, I hope ANet reduces the zerg effect to a large degree.

We had about 20 people versus 40 and you are calling us a zerg?
I should have left the guild name out of that post since it isn’t fair to single out one guild for running in large/medium scale groups but that was the last one I ran into or rather got run over by. I call anything that culls a zerg which may not be accurate but there were enough that they never fully rendered during the fight.
Again not trying to hammer most of a servers population. Just getting tired fighting against groups not holding anything and basically farming small groups for badges. This issue isn’t server specific.
I still don’t understand, we capped a northeren tower and fought about 40 enemies with 20 of us.

Anyone from the [BT] guild on FA in this thread? Just seen you guys rolling round on Mag BL against our defences and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more organised group.
Extremely impressive. Apparently rather isolated from the rest of your server it seems, and a bit too interested in karma training round supply camps for some reason, but maguuma is going to learn a lot from you.
You should transfer over here. Your skill and our ability to actually organise the map population – we make beautiful babies.
We “karma train” around camps to try and entice the tasty treats to come out and play/become a snack.
Looks like Maguuma is falling behind. If anyone is looking for a server Maguuma needs a WvW boost. Great friendly community, minimal trolling, and a love for large active zerg guilds.
I know this is troll.
But maguuma is doing just fine, and you guys have a much better overnight presence then you think you do…unless it’s just a LOT of dedicated NA staying up late because its the weekend

I think you missed the part where we took your stuff today and held the PPT lead for 8 hours. The adapting process worked well. We aren’t willing to lose sleep to keep up with IoJ, so we’ll start again tomorrow.

BT is the only FA guild group that I’m wary of because they are structured to such a degree that their open field is very difficult for us to beat. We try to avoid engaging them in open field where possible and try to get them out of position so they can never have more than 1 breakout tower and 1 supply camp at any one time. When we do engage them open field we really need even numbers at minimum and must do so with favourable terrain so we can separate them. So far it seems to be working out ok. Every other guild group is nowhere near as scary and our pugs seem to be handling them pretty well.
I doubt we have the oceanic coverage to prevent a score blowout going into the work week but so far I’m enjoying this matchup alot.

Just last week you were in first place in Tier 3. One week of losing isn’t reason enough to transfer.
I do not think losing was a factor with any of the guilds that have left.
Oh I think it is. Most definitely.
They rose through the ranks really fast, owned crap in Tier 3 for a bit, and then lose one week.
Bam exodus. Pretty big coincidence, despite any story they may try to spin.
You are not on my server nor did i discuss with you why we left CD, and no it wasn’t about losing, Terror[TG] knows about losing and for you to say that we left because we lost ONE match is wrong of you.
Its honestly REALLY sad the amount of drama created in this tier, in the forums and on the server, we love this tier and only aim at staying in it, we do not want to rise in the ranks and we do not want to drop.
I keep telling you folks…T3…..The Grudge tier.

I don’t really see DB considering this a grudge Tier and I’m hoping we can prove what we proved in Tier 4. That we are moving up.
The monstrous growth of Maguuma and Kaining only happened because of their diehard regulars proving themselves worthy of WvW fun. Noone swarmed to drama filled servers this last week (save for Tier 1 and 2).
IoJ guilds moved to FA to keep fighting decent sized battles instead of being relegated to smaller battles.
And DB holds our own because of the determination of our WvW core, Asian, NA, & Oceanic. Our transfers from the last few weeks gave our Asian and oceanic guilds a chance to stretch their legs against more equally numbered opponents and bolstered our NA determination!
I’m crazy excited to see what will happen over the next few weeks and later!

CD should just transfer to FA so we can both settle our differences as we experience the misery of being destroyed by Maguuma as a unified presence.
We’ve both had the privilege of being able to enjoy a fair amount of relatively balanced match-ups before the end of free transfers.

Lol Fort aspenwood got smashed for 10 weeks in T3 with constant 3rd place, and one guild (Who was PvX) bandwagoned to SoS. Like I mentioned before, a good majority of us don’t care if we win or lose. We log in, kill people, and log out. At times guilds won’t even siege keeps or towers and just look for open field skirmishes.

I kinda gotta ask, did something happen to CD? I know us in Fort Aspenwood got a bunch of transfers from IoJ, but I doubt it would make it this unbalanced between the servers.
Same thing that would happen to FA when we were losing.
