Servers like Sea of Sorrows and Crystal desert already have a night presence to begin with.

Fort aspenwood is simply looking for a few more players/ Guilds to help our established nightmorning coverage we do have. Our night coverage isnt immense by any means but it is there and it showed when we were around +400 PPT last night and turning EB blue.

Lol at all the crying about a bandwagon server.

FA has had 1, one, uno, ONE. guild transfer to it.

With that said this has been a great matchup so far. Can’t wait to see some feirce fighting over my next 2 days off work.

DH does not have 24/7 population out there.
We got low and peek times at best.

So whatever server can have the most players on 24/7 will usually win. No real skill or tactic there. Its a numbers game.

What would you call NA primetime in higher tiers when there’s ques for every server?

It seems to me the server either gave up after the first night, or that you arent populated to begin with.

Usually relatively short ques, our Bigger WvW guilds/commanders are in constant communication with each other using raid call/TS etc. We are moving into T3 next week, and we are no means an amazing server but I personally see a lot of potential on it.

We defend castles at 3 AM.

Saying this will not win me any friends, but FA organization is not all that. Regular PUGs are trained to follow commanders and we have a lot of them (commanders and PUGs), but aside from drowning opponents in (often our own) blood I don’t see tactical sophistication or response times that would take FA anywhere near T1.

kitten a lot of fair weather friends transferring, plus a strong night-capping crew. This is the source of FA’s recent victories, not some new-found appreciation of finer points of WvW strategery.

FA belongs in T4, anything above that is bandwagoner effect and zerging.

And we actually work very hard on our server. A lot of the bigger guilds are in constant communication and we have made a lot of improvements over the past few weeks.

As far as this “band wagoner” effect we have had like…2 guilds transfer to us, which is hardly a massive influx of people.

Are we perfect? No. Are we working on things? yes.

And it shows in FAs comeback with Yaks

PTX of FA has had a lot of fun fighting HoD and DH on EB.

Looking forward to next week in the T3 match up to see what FA is made of.

Yeah guys I have been trying my best to follow up on the information in this thread and it seems a lot of the information is false. We did NOT have 20 guilds of 100+ transfer over. we did NOT have a 70 man Japanese guild transfer over, (JPN) was already with us so don’t confuse that.

We have 2 confirmed 40ish man EU guilds move over to us (Asg, LLAC) Looks like LLAC fields about 10 guys and Asgards just came over tonight, and the leader is saying they still have players to transfer in so Asgards may indeed be looking at a lot more then 40

While this is a good start it is simply not enough coverage to contend in Higher tiers. We still need to fill in our overnight badly (Asians, oceanics). I’d say we would still do well with more Euros as well if we are looking to be compete in the higher slots.

Figured I’d keep everybody in the loop, keep up the good work guys.

There has been a guild with the guild tag JPN on the server for months now.

That said, it is very likely if another guild is japanese they would probably rock the same tag.

Hey, this post is only really relevant to FA players but since we don’t have a server sub forum I’m posting it here. I have been looking for the source of these rumours surrounding the “massive influx” of “200 players” we have received that we never seem to see in WvW. I finally tracked down who this “Rush” guy was in-game and this is my conversation with him.

As a side note – I believe the Euro guild [Asg] may be joining us today so be sure to give them a warm welcome if you see them out there. (even weirder coincidence? I got one of their members in the screenshot by accident.)

P.S. – The “maybe 100 man” guild is LLAC. I think they send about 10 people to WvW for 3-5 hours during NA early morning. I haven’t seen a bigger group than that, feel correct me if I’m wrong. – Monster Madness is their commander.
P.P.S – No, we’re not Japanese in [PRO], nor do we put 70 members in WvW. In fact, as a rough estimate 90% of our members reside in the USA. Also, given our name is “The Protectorate of Aspenwood”, no, we didn’t recently transfer over lol.

I’m proud to announce that FA has held between +300 and +600 PPT all day despite starting the day 100k down.

We are still out here fighting.

Can’t wait to get everyone on board.

We are doing a great job with the recruitment guys, let’s keep it up.

We all appreciate everybodys hard work.

What I don’t understand is why yaks bend is acting like they lost the match when they have a 100k lead.
