TC where are you?

Not all servers are interested in fighting the BG blobs all the time.

JQ got sick of it, TC is sick of it. Honestly, SoR would probably be sick of it if they weren’t used to it from T2 and is mostly full of stubborn diehard people.

But BG finally got what they’ve always wanted, un-competitive wins.

People on SoR are sick of it too… don’t think we aren’t.

It’s only uncompetitive if you don’t turn up

Or if a server overstacks their competition in the coverage war.

But that is just details, it’s easier to say the enemy isn’t showing up, instead of admitting that you outnumber your enemy during certain timezones.

Sorry to interrupt buuuuuut SoR were fine 2 weeks ago. Then we were told it was a training week (on forums etc) and I dunno about last week. Point being is as soon as SoR wins everyone cries numbers….. as soon as BG wins same thing. I think it’s safe to say that any server who wins is labled stacked and it is rare for the “fun matchup” to occur.

Yes, magically BG went from very high to full, and obviously those people transferred there to pve since guesting doesn’t cut it. And of course magically during the same time BG starts queuing 4 maps during SEA.

BG out coveraging their opposition can’t be changed, but at least be honest about it.

I was just trying to point out the similarities each server winning shares…… they are accused of being stacked. shrugs I’m not phased eitherway who wins….. just have fun being silly with friends

The skill lag…how do you guys play for months on end like this? o.O

I RARELY get skill lag, maybe on a reset night in garrison but we don’t play reset nights.

But then again I have a good PC

Skill lag is affected by how well ANET’s servers can keep up with the numerous actions players initiate at a given time in one map. Not related with how much processing power your computer has.

It’s ust weird that so many people complain about it but I never get it is all im sayin

You must learn to read better, I don’t have it, but I can get you an Rx for it. In my years of being a Doctor of Awesome, I have come across a large amount of people, yourself included, suffering from the debilitating disease of Baddyness. During my clinical rounds and studies, I have found that one of the biggest symptoms of suffering from Baddyness is a burning bottom. There is a cream I can prescribe that will help reduce the symptoms, but not the illness.

Just like a few particular SoR guilds, they attract the numbers. I wouldn’t say 60 is a precise count, but sometimes it’s necessary against… certain opponents.

Looking at our current roster BT has 599 people logged on, with 598 of those members all in WvW and the other 1 member farming gold for the guild bank. We also have 2 havoc squads of 45 people roaming for small scale battles.

Its either massive zerg lag or your 5 man havoc gets wiped by 30+, I dont really find either of these to be fun.

Unless you’re interested in server politics and/or the history of TSYM, these stories would probably be pretty boring.

Personally, I LOVE observing server politics. Fascinating stuff comprised of secret alliances, betrayal, espionage, and all sorts of stuff you see in spy films. If you’re a fan of server/guild politics, I’d recommend reading up on EVE Online. The game is boring as hell, and includes a huge learning curve/time sink to get started (which is why I’ve never played), but the politics on that game are second to none as far as MMOs are concerned.

Politics in Lineage 2 was pretty fun as well if you played that game

Unless your guild runs 5 you’re all zerg trash to me…. sadly that includes myself in this pos game. Noone here impresses me, not even my own guild. I guess that’s the state of the game though… casual friendly ftw. The only real skill that matters is that of the commander being able to use terrain to their advantage… after that it’s ezmode kids, don’t fool yourselves into thinking otherwise.

But to put things nicely, maybe large scale pvp simply isn’t your thing :/ Click on the forums tab and below that is the structured pvp zone. MIIIIGHT be more your thing :P

Good thing i’m the one who kicks people from guild Either way you’re making a large assumption that I don’t have fun in wvw. It’s fun to kill people, and I prefer an unpredictable environment as opposed to cap the point. I don’t have delusions that this game takes skill to play like most people here though. If that makes me a fool then so be it. I’m glad you’re concerned though…. makes me feel all special.

try running with only 20-30 (no pugs, no commander tag, ONLY 20-30 BT)
then fight groups with 50-70 (guilds such as: TW, Choo, Agg, SF, WARD, FEAR)

If it still takes no skill and you wipe those groups just as easy, I will disband my guild.
I will need video proof, and I will need to see the following: Ally names, this means you do not just display your party members name / Visual of your Map (Do not blur it out)
And show the # of people on your Teamspeak / guild list.

Of course you wont take me up on the challenge.

To be fair to BT, they are a good guild but only when they have the full BL on their kitten as well.

We can say the same about TW. ~~

BT is a large guild, TW is a small/medium guild. They will never have the same numbers.

BT is a Massive alliance made up of 2 500 man guilds.

They swallow small guilds and players by the dozen and queue 2 borderlands a night fielding roughly 150 a night.

Wow lots of FA guilds are leaving no wonder their strength is dropping. Their coverage suck right now. Alot of guilds are leaving, some we have great fights with like [BT] & [VK] they leaving to Blackgate. I wonder who will defend their homeland now, all that is left is what [RET]?

For past couple of days they seem to be outman all the time even during their prime time. Perfect time to take all their stuff :p

But why leave FA? I’m curious, but also selfish in asking this — BT is one of the best guilds we’ve come up against, and it’s always nice to fight them. If you leave this tier, it will not only impact FA, but also the other two servers. Why, BT, why? Aren’t you having fun here?

They’re annoying to be sure. I can almost deal with the damage to troops. It’s the damage to siege that is unconscionable.

+1. Although, nerfing the damage to personnel would be great too. As it stands, the encouragement to turtle and not fight is way too high and has been making the bulk of my forays into WvW not fun and even downright boring.

Making keeps/towers paper all the time, removing arrow carts/ballistas, and throw points out the window and this game would be better.

Honestly though, once we settle out of first place, that’s where the magic really happens on TC. The fun starts, the good attitudes show up, the real fighting happens. First place lends itself to snarkiness (in game and forums) and boredom. Then the fairweathers flee when we have a changeup (like ths DB entry)….and the cycle repeats.

I don’t personally want, or care, about 1st place. I just want fun. If we lose the matchup and we have fun…so be it. Of course winning is fun too, in its own right, but I don’t think you have to be in 1st place to have fun. The first couple weeks of the KN/FA/TC matchup was perfect, imho. Each server kinda had its own time of day that they would dominate, so no one got disheartened.

I ust wanna fight giant zergs.

I don’t have time to do it for TC and DB but It would be Interesting to see the comparison… although I think FA has the worst stats probably lol.

Love those stats. Part of what makes FA my all time favorite server is our desire to not be in first. We don’t like it. We like having a plethora of confident enemies to fight. We do our best to deter PPT focused guilds from coming over here. We are not a Transfer Coast or Wagonbrand.

I know in BT we have some awesome times every night. There is always a BP, CO, RE, AGG, PiNK, TSL, ESP, DIS, etc on any map to fight and we don’t have to compete with another guild or group to find fights.

Its like our own private fight club.

I’ve said this to TC before and I will say it to DB. We don’t care about the meta game. You (DB) do. When you are happy with your server match up victories, it keeps you in the field fighting and provides us with our entertainment. Its a win win for all of us.
