I think FA will ride the tier 2 roller coaster for a while until we get stronger in our weak time zones. Once TC rejoins tier 2 I could see us taking more 3rd place finishes. Last time we faced TC we couldn’t beat them.

I disagree. Even back when we first hit T2, I think we were better than TC. We were leading them by 10k points up until a day in the mid-week when the queue in our own BL bugged out. We had 10 people defending with an hour long queue.

We lost everything. Dropped 20k pts and couldn’t make up the ground before reset.

TC only has coverage. Much like Tier 1 servers. Which isn’t anything bad, it’s just a reality of what it takes to be in Tier 1. Numbers + enough time zone coverage.

Otherwise, there hasn’t been a moment vs TC where BT hasn’t roflstomped through their forces. They are full of delicious bags, so tender, so sweet. Their tears on the forums are like nectar, almost as good as Maguuma’s. A hint of roleplay instead of trolling. Distinct. Delicious. Coupled with some dolyak meat, quite tantilizing a meal.

I remember the first time seeing the BT zerg in TC borderlands. You guys absolutely destroyed our pugs over and over again. It was pretty cool.

But then ofcourse KH started their raid night, came out of the garrison, absolutely stomped your entire BT zerg and every single one of you magically dissapeared from the borderland leaving us to PVdoor for the rest of the night. It was pretty dissapointing.

I can’t wait to see you guys again hopefully in T2 – it would be nice to see you actually stay and fight.

And if you don’t want any TC to take part in your thread, then maybe you should guys should stay out of our thread. But ofcourse that’s not how it works around here, everyone is just looking for their opportunity to troll after all.

We would never leave a BL if we were to wipe, simply means that there is a worthy opponent on the BL.

With that said I don’t recall seeing KH with more than 10 or so people last matchup.

I don’t care about what “place” we finish in or winning “internet glory”…I just wanna farm the tasty zergs.

This game is about coverage and not skill. If every map for every server had a queue on it 24/7 winning would mean something.

I personally would like to see Tsym go somewhere wherever that may be.

Although I understand the problems and what not, the fact of the matter is that they are a T1/T2 guild and should stay there. Maybe just go about business a little differently.

I don’t think any hardcore wvw/competitive guild would want to sink to low low tiers.

FA seems to have 2 peek time zones nailed, but is lacking in the SEA time slot. DB is lacking in all time slots, except when NNK plays during the SEA time slot.

We are moving to FA (just a handful of us). Seems like a match made in heaven. Would be pointless for those T3 powerhouses to keep fighting when they could make some awesome strides in T2. The missing equation for both servers is for them to come together.

FA is right there at being a T2 competitive server.

All we need is a SEA/EU guild who could help prevent the BL turning an enemy color by WM or DB’s NNK PvDooring. Of Course individual players on that time slot would help as well, we have a few commanders who try to organize things at that time but it’s hard without bodies.

Another WvW focused NA guild is always welcome however, we don’t have queus on any BL except EB sometimes

You aren’t gonna join a server who will win every single time, we at FA have no interest in claiming internet glory or fame I won’t lie to you there. Don’t feel the need to carry the server or anything it’s not important.

All we want are some good competitive fights, and the place we will find that is T2. One thing I love is the FA community. I’ve made a lot of e-friends on this server, some good people here.

Anyway with all the guilds moving all over the place, please take a minute to look at FA, and help make T2 more competitive/balanced for everybody involved.

Really hope a guild would consider FA. We are right there for being competitive in T2

Or VoTF could transfer FA and give us the ability to make another T2 competitive server.

Some servers simply do not have a large population of WvW players during specific time frames. I am sure FA complains about being outnumbered for various parts of the day as well. It is completely understandable as few if any like to be run over time and time again by sheer numbers. I suggest treating the posts as venting frustration rather than whining.

Sure are plenty of them out there when we’re winning.

FA could really use the extra coverage. our Australian/NZ primetime is stacked to the teeth.

Could really use more NA/SEA/EU/South american players/guilds.

The guilds on FA are fully prepared to pool some gold together to help with a potential guild transferring in. You will not PvDoor do not worry, we will be going against servers with decent populations.

Would just like to say FA has a high potential to be a solid T2 server with our extremely strong oceanic presence. Which in turn would balance T2 with a 3rd server, creating fun/competitive fights for everybody involved.

1-2 Medium WvW Guild in SEA/EU slots would do wonders for our server along with T2 as a whole.

We could also use another dedicated WvW oriented NA guild.

I don’t know how anybody is having fun to be honest with you. I personally am bored with fighting DB and whoever. They don’t have the coverage to compete with us, just like we don’t have the coverage if we went to T2.

if Krew, and EA, and NNK and a few more notable guilds would move to FA. we would have a competitive server that could stick in T2. As opposed to FA facerolling T3, Maguuma Facerolling T4. This would Create fun fights for everybody involved, as well as a balanced tier. FA has the oceanic coverage…in fact we have the most oceanic coverage I would say, we need more WvW oriented NA guilds, and an SEA/EU presence to do it.

It only makes sense. I can pretty much speak for all of BT when I say we would prefer to be losing/in a competitive fight. The borderlands become a target rich enviroment as opposed to a PvDoor snoozefest or unorganized zerg farm/Enemy not being able to field players due to fairweathers.

Now just because you’re abusing buff stacking and Ele’s AE dmg doesnt mean everyone else who isnt running 20 ele’s and 20 guards with 50 stacks of might and dmg abs. shields up the kitten is an unorganized zerg.

Next month you’re D/D ele zerg ball will be nerfed into oblivion and you can all go back to playing thiefs again.

The vast majority of Yaks Bend has no interest in being in this bracket, ever. We prefer smaller fights and if we wanted large fights we would have moved onto a tier 1 server long ago.

I’m not gonna get into an internet fight with you because you are upset or something or your feelings are hurt. Pretty sure you can’t “abuse” buff stacking, buffs are part of the game and how you PvP in this game. I was offering my opinion in a post in the thread about becoming competitive servers so I’m not really sure why you went off on a tangent in the first place. Thanks for the constructive post though.

WvW is ZergvZerg. I know a lot of you probably haven’t fought in the upper tiers. But it comes down to who can run more support builds/toughness.

This isn’t a small scale game.

I am sad to see maguuma go.

I enjoyed it when BT would run into the maguuma mumble grp of 20-30 people and scrap with them.

I miss T2 very much so, the fights were amazing, and we got a chance to fight some really great guilds on BG.

We are well aware of our coverage issues during SEA/EU prime, and we are doing our best to fix it. FA will never be a T2 server unless we get organized forces on at those times. We are doing what we can.

Sadly there isnt a 6th T1/T2 server with the coverage to compete in T2. So there will always be a server stomping T3, and always a server getting stomped in T2. FA is a better choice to get the coverage, simply because we have a lot more oceanic coverage than TC. Doing this will create an equal fight in T2.

Yeah we learned it from FA. What is the lesson? There is NO overkill, only kill. Seeing you guys do things like bringing Omegas to a garrison that you know is defended by 6 people, waiting till the wee hours of the morning to bring 40+ people to our BL for PVDoor, indeed, good job. The whole point of the video, which you seemed to have missed is WHY would you come back the second time to a door that you know is a meat grinder.

There are people who play who are located all over the world.

Do you think we at FA are happy about NNK golem rushing everything at 7 AM with 60 people?

Some amazing fights in DB BL tonight, really awesome with maguuma in the beginning of the night, and later on with DB. Great defense on the garrison! And maguuma we built that cata to knock out some siege.

BT members are required to have an extremely strict diet. Mainly consisting of Roleplayers tears, nails, and carrots to improve eyesight.

On top of that BT members are required to particpate in several hand-eye coordination exercises, and to take performance enhancing steroids (Provided by the officers of course).

Rebel, FA would have a queue on 1 map during NA primetime in T2.

Why? Fairweathers.

It always is a shame because if every PvE player and fractal dweller wouldn’t come out during T3 it would be a much more even match.

Me personally. I would rather be losing. It shows you what guilds are out in WvW every night, and what guilds retreated to the fractals and dark holes in which they came. Not to mention the BL becomes a target rich environment….which is just all around delicious.

I really wish Maguuma would come out and just play for the love of the game. DB though, classy and fun all around.

Our home borderland has been a flash point for more than 2 weeks straight. Before that it was 3 weeks trying to control a substantial number of new players and get them acclimatized to the way we play. Before that it was a long list of beatings by much bigger servers than us like Crystal Desert. Today DB had a queue to get into Maguuma BL which really says something considering the tattered state their own BL was in (several of us still keep in touch with AoN).

Against Kaineng playing WvW was a really miserable and costly experience for me and many other core players. I did nearly 16 hours on Mag BL against Kaineng on reset and a frankly absurd number of hours throughout the rest of the week with no relief. Every day since I’ve been replacing siege and upgrades so we can play an offensive game. Every day it all gets wiped out within an hour of going afk. I’m tired and broke and its the same for several core players. So this week many of us are taking a break. We showed up at reset so you know where we are at.

You are still welcome on our mumble any time to shoot the breeze and arrange skirmishes, but pretty much everything about tier 3 is a chore to me except skirmishing with BT. The severe timezone coverage disparity will always make this a game of attrition and my concern right now is keeping the players we have got. Not losing them to 4 hour swirling winds treb wars that end in us losing our keeps to an army of Australians anyway. Thats the quickest way to turn players off WvW for life.

But we can’t play offensively when our borderland gets reset every night then spend 12 hours trying to get FA and a queued DB out of our BL so we can even upgrade what we’ve got. We can’t stray far away from our towers and keeps when 3 rams will get a non reinforced gate down in under a minute.

What can I say? I still love the game but for now it means being away from WvW for a spell.

Why are you so mad about a video game? Who cares if we win/don’t win. Or people do irritating things. It’s all about having fun.

Personally I don’t seek e-glory by winning T2, or going to T1. It’s not important to me. I just want to log in and WvW with my guild and have a good time. We wipe, we wipe people, We take keeps, we lose them. But almost always everybodys in TS in a good mood having a good time.
