We need more Inventory space for HoT Anet.
No we don’t.
Will be happy to! Just to make sure, what date is it exactly? Dont want to be too late/early.
This would be nice but it would not be fair to everyone who hs multiple characters with bag slot expansion. Unless they could refund the gems. However I think that would be too much of a hassle.
I have 3-4 chars with maxed bag slots.. I don’t mind if that gets ignored and I get all bag slots on all chars for free. xD
I like it a lot! Just gotta figure out that sweet balance.
The system was changed because the previous one was bad. Giving power to 1 guy makes it worse for the other 4 players. You just make the instanse worse for 80% of the players. Right now everyone is at the same lvl. Giving special power for 1 guy just encourage that one guy kicking anyone when he wants because he knows he can’t be kicked. Also how would you kick an afk leader? You said that you can open the dungeon to avoid a kick. Well if everyone try to do the same then no one would ever join a group that they are not leader. You are making the dungeon worse for 4 players just to benefit one. Such a selfish idea.
The current system is better than the old one for anyone, but dungeon sellers. As dungeon selling is not a supported feature it should not be taken in account when designing the game.
Currently me and my friend can open a Fractals lvl 50, kill everything up to the endboss with some random pugs, do a good job and then we can get kicked and they can invite someone else.
This guy got lucky, but usually that’s not the case.

Guesting DOES resolve the issue to me, namely to Vizunah Square. Does take a bit longer thkittenual though.
I was trying to create a character named ‘Illusions of Grenth’ and it was blocked by the ‘inappropiate combination of letters’ filter.
Is there a chance that this will be improved upon that I can actually use the word or is the usage of it in my name forever blocked?
I believe I saw an Anet member once say that the globe isn’t correct as the OoW hasn’t explored the entire glob. Not 100% sure though.
What was referred to is the in-game model, which is very very different from the texture pulled out of the gw.dat and used in the OP’s linked model. No comment was made for the texture itself, which is far more accurate – though with its own amount of inconsistencies – than the in-game globe.
But…
Based on the Order of Whisper’s threat assessment globe.
There’s a difference then between the ingame model and OoW Threat Assessment globe?
No theories. No explanation Same reason it took them around seven months to understand chilling an ice elemental/burning a fire elemental didn’t exactly make too much sense.
Elements have no leverage or impact on the world if they are tied to your class.well, mobs tend to have immunities. fire elementals and destroyers are immune to burning, for example.
but i can still make an earth elemental bleed >.>
I know at least one destroyer (Destroyer of Worlds) that isn’t immune to burning. Which kinda sucks…
There’s also the Destroyer Matriarch in Asuran PS Gadd’s Last Gizmo

Except that it wasn’t Ventari who planted the seed. It was Ronan who planted it on the graves of his family that had been killed by the White Mantle/Mursaat (can’t remember which one exactly)
Very convinient for us to use our access to the Eternal Alchemy through Omadd’s machine to get inside the Pale Tree’s mind…..
Scarlet most likely got overtaken by the Nightmare immediately upon getting too close a look at the Mordremoth corrupted Pale Tree…..
Explains the vines she was using upon climbing out of the machine….
Does not explain the entity giving her good ideas making her more intelligent than she originally was…..
Plant Dragons logically shouldn’t be technologically inclined!
The Master of Peace is too suspicious to be trusted…. Especially since his extracting a certain energy from Aerin got him corrupted by Mordremoth.
If he plans on exploiting Scarlet and other Mordremoth corrupted entities connection to Mordremoth then he is a serious threat….
I go the impression that she had been that intelligent all along. Iirc, she had already done at least two Asuran Colleges before ever stepping in the machine, maybe all three.
you meen this painting? It looks more like the Realm of Torment
It really does, but I see no way they could connect the two.
Considering they tied the Thaumanova to Scarlet, you could assume they planned on tying the Fall of Abaddon to her as well.
What I mean to say is that regardless of our choice between Kiel and Evon, and thus Thaumanova or Abaddon, the story had to play out to the same conclusion, with the Ley Lines being an important factor in it. The Fall of Abaddon would have had to provide us with the same information. This might just be a bit of art which was created at the time when the choice was up in the air.
If there really was a choice to begin with
That piece of art has been there since GW1 iirc
Use spoiler tags please, Dustfinger.
Thank you Arenanet! Appreciate the hard work you’re doing!
JOTUN: If you look in the wiki, it states that the Jotun’s were “granted magic that led the races to prominence… their power came to rival that of the gods themselves, who began to fear that the jotun would use magic against them. The jotun giant-kings, confused and enraged, turned on one another, and the gods abandoned them, taking their magic away and handed it over to other races, causing the crumbling of jotun civilization.”
This is the fall of the last of the great Giant Races, of which the Norn are also counted, apparently. The fall of the Jotan was because they turned on each other, according to lore, not the loss of magic. The loss of magic was simply the catalyst that began their turning on each other.
Tbh, to me, this sounds like the words that Thruln The Lost (is that his name?) is repeating to everyone in Hoelbrak, of which a number are known to be false. And wiki isn’t always correct.
The Six didn’t take away magic for one.
I believe the M.O.X. and Zinn quests were before Guild Wars Beyond- same sort of content, but not built with Guild Wars 2 in mind. Just some fun quests and an easily accessible hero in Prophecies and Factions.
That said, I see no reason why he couldn’t return, being a G.O.L.E.M. and all. I think you touched on the problem, though: M.O.X. would have direct knowledge of our Guild Wars 1 character, and that’s a tangle ANet may well be better off avoiding.
Weren’t MOX and Zinn introducted with EOTN? And wasn’t EOTN meant as an intro leading up to GW2?
Everyone’s talking about Malchor being the father of Grenth, but as far as I know we still don’t have any actual evidence… ?
A lot of theory is based on that, while afaik, we just don’t know if it’s true or not.
Was recommended venomshare by a guildie, but was promptly told in the fractal that it wasn’t such a good build after all…
No idea where to search and not really any people that do high fractals (29+) in my guild. Help?!

Anet can’t help that :P But they’ll try to keep exploits off of their own forums.
I just hope they fix it, seeing as I doubt it’s intended.
Good of you to highlight that there’s an exploit, but you might want to remove the location of the exploit and where it happens exactly. I’ve seen posts removed for that and threads deleted because of it.
Haven’t been able to visit it again, or even kill the spirits.
However, Pietoro, are you sure they’re Ascalonian?
In Mount Maelstrom, Bard’s Vally there’s a POI named Valley of Gwaun.
At this moment I can’t exactly recall what’s all in there but it contains at least 10+ champion ‘lost spirits’.
Is there any lore surrounding this?
I’d love to have the forms as a toggle in which I could fight as Bear, but with my normal Warrior skills. I’d give up my elite slot for that ability. (Not that it’s of much use…)
The trait for Vengeance does make it 100%. It’s such an epic trait <3
I’ve always wondered, wouldn’t it be possible that the last time the ED’s rose was not in 10.000 BE, but more recent? That their rising in 10.000 BC was their second-last rising?
(If this is not relevant enough, my apologies)
So, just because he hasn’t been seen you assume that he hasn’t been around? You can’t know :P
