Here’s a proposition: Disable condition removal from allies while under the Mallyx legend, tension solved. =) I agree it really ruins the uniqueness of the stance, it just seems like another condition spammer spec…
It’s ALMOST as if people have different tastes, fascinating.
@Ausfer
I might’ve used an exaggeration but those primates use their knuckles to move a lot of the times, so not entirely two-legged, but without getting into the semantics, I don’t mind the charr as they are but sometimes the hunch seems so severe I ask myself how do they not topple over, the overall balance feels like it could’ve been better, and I don’t know if it’s just me but when you do a /salute /yes or such emotes where they straighten their backs makes me wish that they would’ve at least put in an idle animation like that. (also the NPC talking animation WHY ARE THERE NO TALKING ANIMATIONS IN THE GAME)
I always was confused by the hunch-back phenomenon. It’s as if all the art designers in all these games have this bias that hunch = barbaric and beastly. Which I find laughable, just put them upstraight like any two-legged vertebraetes known to man and every imaginable universe and hunch them down when holding weapons / combat stance.
There is a search function for a reason. In this case all you need to do is look at the top 5 threads, the amount of ungrateful, unconstructive whiny people in this community is dissapointing, more so than the actual event.
You’re right, berserker is too OP, especially rifles. Rifles been in the meta for way too long.
Think rifles are doomed ’till the next expansion.
Agreed, though the problem could be fixed by simply BUFFING the primal bursts. As it stands now they are hardly worth using over the normal ones. The damage decrease is too severe, flaming flurry is an utter joke and hammer primal is counter intuitive.
Reverse the rock animations to burst inward, pull enemies to the point of impact, problem solved.
So what did you have for breakfast?
Not worth it, that sums it up
Good. This stacking meta requires very little tactical ability and is basically about blasting combo fields. Having a Zerg busting skill might actually force people to space out and think.
This.
Forcing people to kill this habbit which I believe is also in preparation for raiding.
Get over it guys, no more hugging, at least not 24/7
Adventurer: Hey, which way to the outhouse?
Citizen: We don’t have outhouses. We have water closets.
Adventurer: Like latrines?
Citizen: Nope. They all flow into the same sewer system, and that all goes out to sea.
I ALMOST miss those two, but not quite.
Magic? What are you talking about? How about grabbing ground, pulling a rock out of it, and punching it.
That’s called badarsery, not magic.
Rifle is one foot in the grave, not just for warriors but for the sole fact that only two classes can use it in the entire game. HoT seems it’ll leave it in the dust for an even longer time, stop bullying it, and learn to observe telegraphs.
Would be cool if HoT came with new emotes. Heck, I’d even be willing to buy them from the gem store.
I can’t imagine what the sound designers thought when they made this. I SERIOUSLY hope it’s a joke, this is april fool’s material.
This is a bad idea. If you don’t think the expansion is worth your 50$ then don’t kittening buy it.
I want the makeover kit to be able to change race like it did back then…
I dislike being Asuran for my mesmer.
Deleting a character in this game is not as big of a deal as you’d think, the only thing you lose by deleting a character and re-leveling it is the soulbound armor (which you can salvage) and possible bag slot expansions you invested in, otherwise all progress you did is account bound, just delete and re-level.
1) Remove the timer.
2) Make night significantly darker.
-Near pitch-black when off the beaten path would be ideal.
—Night-vision mastery to compensate.
3) Make ambushes possible at night, but defined paths relatively safe.
4) Make night events more diverse (Enemies spread and attack multiple points one night, enemies don’t attack at all others, enemies mass and march by the hundreds on a large outpost with diverse defenses sometimes, and enemies lead feints on other nights)*
5) Have some events (some playable, some ambient) that occur at certain times/nights that are unrelated to the Mordrem assaults. This is how night should be handled, IMO.
*While I’d prefer the dragon minions were mindless and didn’t use any real ‘tactics’, that ship has already sailed. :-\
+1
Seriously?! Considering GW2 has NOT MONTHLY FEE and HASN’T CHARGED FOR ALL THE CONTENT UPDATES SINCE RELEASE, you are really going to quibble over this? Seriously!?!?
I too, share this acute sentiment.
+1, I’d love to see this.
So you want to avoid spending money for 60+ hours worth of gameplay and free future updates, but don’t mind paying 50$ +15$ a month for an instanced solo-monopoly game, a broken pvp system (6.2 lol) and selfies?

Free accounts can’t mail kitten. Think.
Oh Christ just get over it. No one’s forcing you to do raids, and you won’t be left behind gear-wise.
How naive have you got to be to think that you’ll get full extents of the game available for free lol.

relax.
Anet won’t be able to rely on difficulty fueled by item level requirements and this will force them to try new angles. It’ll also eliminate the “elitism” a lot of people fear when they think of raids.
Personally I’ve great faith in the LFG tool, people can state what they want, how they want it, with no surprise questions following by a kick. They can make their own groups with their own requirements. If some kitten wants 20k+ achis and full ascended then good luck to him.
Utterly hereditary to the warrior class as a whole, purely from a design perspective. Yeah I know this has been discussed before, but I am extremely anxious about going into HoT with vicious monogamy towards the Discipline tree.
Yeah I know no one’s forcing me to, but just think about it. Not just from past experience but look at the Berserker, how can anyone expect to use ALL that potential synergy with a 10 second weapon swap? Even the duration of Berserking (15s) screams in the face of Fast Hands.
I dunno, but without Fast Hands being baseline, it feels like the specialization options and experimentation (which is the whole point of the system) is cut in half… or third. After playing with Fast Hands for so long, to play without it feels like I’m missing a left hand (pun intended).
I dunno. Maybe I’m overreacting, maybe I’m panicking too much, I would love for someone to show me how benign the situation is, because I can’t imagine playing without that jerking speed.

No wonder there were like 6 Twilight sellers popping up after listing mine…
I was so afraid it’d be tryhard torch juggler. Thank goodness.
Graphical issues with charr? What a ******* surprise.
People don’t seem realize what beta’s in general stand for.

Can people not read these days?
$50 is the price of the expansion. We included the core game as a free bonus to make it easier for new players to get into it.
FREE BONUS
Where does it say the price of the expansion and core game are $50 ????
Use your f***ing brains, Jesus Christ
Find me a subscription-free MMO expansion that is below 50$. I dare you.
“Well what is it?”
pls make /whellwhatisit happen XD
Because they are very bad maybe? I would insta kick cond warrior.
And here’s a reason why people wonder about having bad, toxic players ruining their experience.
Please do everyone a favor and stick with your elite, privileged guild, and stay away from strangers.
F***ing disgusting.
On a more constructive note, sinister with Str runes and a lot of might stacking seems to give a fair punch + with all the condition damage on top, and am DOING GREAT in dungeons.

I think the shout should be this instead: “For Trahearne!”
get out
I am amazed.
Tail rigged cloth, special tail particle effects, covered neck armor, well adjusted hip armor… IS THIS REAL LIFE?!
Why can’t they put such effort into every set?
I appreciate your videos, but I have a suggestion for your future uploads:
Avoid explaining mundane, basic things in every video, some of the builds you introduce you even say yourself that should only be attempted by players with experience, in that case there’s no need to explain what a trait does, what a sigil does, and what the ability does to an experienced player. It shortens your video, (which is a good thing) and compresses it into more useful information. It gives your viewers, that already know all these things, a more informative experience, (short & sweet so to speak).
Instead make a bunch of videos, explaining the very basics, covering abilities/stats/sigils/runes/traits and how these things work, and put a reminder in every consecutive video that in case a viewer is new, they should go look at those introductory videos instead, and save a LOT of -your- and viewer’s time, both new and veteran players.
Point being: I think you should separate your veteran and newbie content, a veteran player might just get bored, and just wants to hear the juicy parts, the potential of the build, and most importantly seeing it in action, (which I think you should do more montages for cuz I love seeing your gameplay ^^) while also covering some tips & tricks. A newbie might just get confused and overwhelmed, not going trough the necessary steps to understand it. GW2 PvP is not rocket science by any means, but let’s face it, it does require basic training first.
If you’re really passionate about helping people as you say you are, which is inspiring, then I suggest cutting your content into 2 sections, for beginners and for veterans. Maybe throw in some flavor like cheesy non-meta fun builds or some tricks or funny moments etc etc. In any case, increasing the number AND quality of your content will yield you way more viewers, that goes for everything else like art too.
Just my 2 cents, peace.

Just make an option for both skimpy and strong armor versions for all races and genders and stop judging other people for their tastes and fetishes.
Walking on two is also something I want, its something that’s determined by movement speed I noticed, but would be really really good if it was an option.
There were several faces that had this problem at launch, so I assume it’ll be fixed.
Then again, many of us also assumed that the last few sets of hair added to the game would receive the physics animations that all the rest of the hairstyles have, and instead they are still completely static unmoving geometry even months after their release, so who knows these days…
I understand they’re busy with the expansion, but I’d rather they delay content and make it better.
I try hard not to take Anet for granted, but sometimes… just UGH.

Are you serious?
Sorry Azure but if you think charr players should put more effort into making themselves look decent than other races with fewer choices than any other race then there’s something wrong.
Tail clipping, shoulder clipping, helmet stretching (and clipping) it’s a kittening disgrace.
Actually best way I found to avoid it is to jump, for the time being the slope becomes super deadly lava killing you with micro falls, so jumping negates that.
It’s the risk you run when walking dangerous cliffs or doing jumping puzzles. It’s there for a good reason.
I’m not even talking about dangerous cliffs or jumping puzzles. I’m talking about perfectly (SEEMINGLY) walkable slopes, just running minding my own business, suddenly death.
