I just thought it was hilarious howkitten they were. We took JQ’s towers in EB forcing them to fight us so Dragonbrand was able to take SMC. Dragonbrand then goes after our towers so we are forced to defend and JQ takes back their towers and then takes SMC back from Dragonbrand.

I think it’s actually the opposite of tactics…

We basically hand you SMC and your thanks is to start zerging our towers on one side while JQ zergs the other side.

We managed to take down the grub and didn’t lose anything during, didn’t take anything either though and the 3 badges we’re not worth it.

I know my guild retook Ogrewatch twice tonight because when they zerged it back the Mesmer hit and ported the 5 of us back in to take down keeplord

Blackgate only had an 8k lead that first not night 15k.
I know because I was basically on the first 24 hours straight of the new WvW.

The entire weekend was actually fairly even until Monday night when CD had a weekday nightcrew and nobody else did. Since then everything is even all night it seems until CD night crew logs on and takes everything again.

I play for the enjoyment of being in WvWvW, winning or losing I’d be out there having fun.

Blackgate seems like a pretty decent server.

I think we would be within like 10k points if not for CD’s organized night crew.

Well, if this is how it’s gonna go then what will happen is the active servers will drive what few players there are on the inactive servers to quit. If we can’t get a balanced match then it’s not fun for anyone other than the dominating side. It’s like ganking on a massive scale.

Oh, and it was pretty awesome to be swarmed by golems, I must admit that. If I had to pick a way to die, that would be a pretty awesome way.

We on kodash have alot of former riverside players because they couldnt stand the queue. Riverside beats us on a regular basis. So its not always this way.

ya the good players probably transferred to your server because they would rather fight than dominate, and the bad players transferred off your server because they just wanna win.

As a crystal dessert player I wish you guys luck. Its really not all that fun dominating by as much as we are atm and I much preferred the massive fight we were having with you guys and BG over the weekend than what we’ve had during the week. Winning is fun but wining without much of a fight is hollow.

GoM basically just gave CD Blackgates Garrison.

If you read the forums WvW is more PvE than PvP so it should share the same build as your PvE build.

In our WvWvW the other servers even up the potential score during the afternoon. So there is good fighting still in prime time up until the night zerg comes on.

I’ve been defending supply camps getting lots of small scale fights, used to win them outnumbered all the time even without the orbs or a 100k point lead beause the people beside me were decent players.

Now we have a 150k lead(more health) and 2 orbs and I’m losing them because I may as well be fighting by myself.

I’m trying really hard to have some compassion but, nope. Nothing.

I’d rather be the underdog, next week when we get tossed up against ET you will see me out there fighting and not here complaining we are losing.

I have server Pride, those same noobs will leave the server next week when we start getting dominated because they are there.

I just gotta wait it out.

You get all the noobs with no server pride transfer to you making you a bad server that will be placed higher because you were so dominant with your good players that are now stuck in queues.

The relic system in DAoC is the same as the Orb system in GW2.

The stronger realm(server) ended up being stronger.

Let them go, Starting in first gives you no goal to acheive. They are only hurting their own guild by doing this.

Aye good teamwork, but is this really what its like to play a thief? spamming 2 buttons the whole time?

Unfortunately even if they put in Darkness Falls they would probably put a queue on it and High pop servers will have people never able to get in anyway.

Why did relics in DAoC give the team holding them buffs?

I still think buffs because you are undermanned sucks because I enjoy having small scale fights. Which are thrown out the window if the undermanned side gets drastic buffs.

Everytime they try and zerg res people if we have even 3 people defending at least 2 of those ressing him will die because we aoe the corpses. Eventually if they keep doing it they won’t have anybody left to res with.

It’s the lamest tactic ever.

Seen a couple catapults behind my own servers doors and wished I could kill them myself.

Preach it. HoD has way more than enough players, and as long as free transfers are open even to FULL servers, WvW will never improve. I haven’t been able to WvW at all for the past 5 days cos ques take longer than 5 hours, and by that time it’s time to go to bed and work the next day…

Wow that must suck.

Right before server transfers are no longer free you should server transfer your entire alliance to one of the least populated servers.

This lets the noobs who server transferred onto your server to reap rewards giving you those long queue times stay there and fail while you get to start at the bottom and work your way up which would be satisfying if you could get to 1st again.

If you were really the #2 server because of your skills then you could slow them down, but you are probably #2 server because of your numbers just like they are #1 because of their numbers.

Ofc mate at 4am i do not sleep because i have to go to work at 8am , i just sit into the jumping puzzle because i’m a pve carebear .

Its 6am and I’m not going to bed for another hour since I work in the afternoon. I just did all the jumping puzzles an hour ago and there was enemies in every one of them while my server was night capping. an extra 6 people on siege equipment in a tower/keep can make a huge difference.

How do they Balance numbers?

There are no queue times at night for my server and we are the ones doing the night capping. Meaning, there is room for more people if we had them so the numbers are already balanced unless you want them to limit it to 10 people because the other server only has 10 people who want to WvW at that time of night( 6 of them probably camping the end of a jumping puzzle)

I got enough karma for masterpiece invaders set, got my badge weapon, and the invader accessories. Only other reward I need is gold so I can keep upgrading our camps/towers.

I don’t even notice Retaliation works half the time to be honest.

Got mine during the 1 day because it rotated colours.

We took Stonemist and fully upgraded it during primetime, we don’t need to do that at night.

The part you are not understanding is, at least on Crystal Desert, we have NO queue times at night for the borderlands. The other servers have the same amount of people as us they just choose not to WvW because our night time guilds are very organized. So instead they pve or play other games so they can claim we win because of night capping.

Give us a freaking counter to stealth and maybe I would agree to this, but as is with no counter to stealth it’s already stupid OP

We don’t even have queue times during offpeak so we have room for more players. The other servers are just demoralized so do not do WvW at night. Friday night when it first started we got everything against us capped with unmanned buff, so when we do it Saturday night we are the bad guys?

Besides I just defend supply camps and have lots of small scale 2v6 1v5(with guards) type stuff, don’t bother with the keeps if they can be done without me.

I’m EST and am part of the “nightcapping” crew.

Some of the servers losing just want potential points , and it’s easier to take those points from the other losing server.

I don’t like the fact that some Downed states are impossible to gank anyway you are forced to kill them.

I play an elementalist.

It’s not my fault my aoe dmg is more than my single target dmg even if only 1 guy is in the aoe.

It’s because aoe has delay on them making them easily Dodgeable.

This is why I sit on peoples faces after I kill them, its not a disresprect thing. It’s to let you know who I am.
