As you can clearly see in http://gw2wvw.org/?region=2&tier=5 Desto focusus GH 71% and FSP 29% so plz dont say that we double team. We as GH should say that you ppl from FSP pay Desto. ;o

ye say that to 2 server att the same eb keep at the same time there go on the wall on ea side and build ac so deso and gh got 2 ac on ea wall then the gh was wiping us and deso make sure that we cant get in the keep sure that is not double team and then u got gh on the left gate and deso on the right sure that is not double team if that not it then what is. deso were at the keep 6 times and gh 4 times and if u focus this much and dont fight the other server this is not even fun to see 2 sad server fight 1 at the same time to win a fight still the new low server

I didn’t see you complaining when we were constantly in GH EB keep fighting and you were happily PvDing all their towers. You even came up to the keep and got wiped.

Either way had fun in EB most the time, till skill lag kicked in meh lol Finished 16 hour commanding spree with us taking GH Garri, more AC’s guys build more AC’s lol! Should be a fun week

Hey, comon u cant put a whole server in a bracket like that, im assuming your talking about current match up? because thats the match up after the last time we faced u. I just looked through thread and didnt see anyone gloating about +600 ticks, and personally I really enjoyed fighting you guys and glad u were in silver with us. If you weren’t with us in silver it would have been someone else of same stature, so don’t see the problem. I spoke about coverage a little in our last match up thread that it didnt bother me, but what did bother me was the a few Deso guys (not whole server) saying how weak FSP was and we were just a walk in the park when we were just trying as hard as we can.

Had an absolute blast the last 7 weeks, every server has their own style and tactics so it was a good learning curve + great fun.

Favorite servers to fight was hands down, AG & Gandara. Gandara has some amazing PuG commanders that are good in blob vs blob and brilliant in smaller scale (made quite afew new friends where we tease when we wipe each other etc lol) and AG for the amount of guilds that run around, never short of fights. Loved the PT vs VII, HoB & VcY night, hopefully we match up with you again so PT can have another go now the majority of our members have some experience under our belts.

AM are always fun to fight and bring a blob at all times of the day. FSP moaned to much about coverage, and then go on to play the other matchups and gloat about their score as they tick 600 in some mornings lol!

So met alot of new acquantises, learnt alot of new tactics and PT grew more than i ever could have hoped for (having to cull from 450 members down to 250 mid way through leagues was tiresome!) We’ll be taking a step back from being a community league guild to focus on our small scale and enjoy ourselves as we have been nonestop zerg leading the whole league.

The best bit though is the sense of accomplishment most of us on Deso are feeling. When it all went wrong and 50% of our WvW population vanished over the space of a week, our forums and TS getting DDoS’d and then shut down and everyone running around like headless chickens. We pulled ourselves together, got organised and sorted out dedicated commanders to keep our coverage 24/7 to ensure people always had something to do, or someone to follow. We have afew NA players, but the majority of our night / morning force are people that compensate to play those hours. So thanks Deso, now let’s enjoy our 2-3 nights of celebration and enjoy many a drunken fight!

So thanks to everyone we fought, now it’s time to see if our new army sticks around or they dissapear back to the depths on PvE from where they came. If you see our scores dropping over the next few matchups it isn’t intended! lol

Was fun in Gandara BL with PT and GoD. AM i have honestly missed you, many a good zerg fight! Gandara was pretty lack luster, mainly pugs though i think. Oh well here’s to a fun week and many arguments about how Deso shouldnt be in Silver lol

You PvD’d all day and we had to actively get scouts out in all BL to try and catch you in the act (Gandara) I can only remember defending 3 actual attacks. 1 against our WP hills with Golems (which you never do ofc) and the others were FSP. Benny hill music would have fit in all day.

lmao at all the Gandara tears, was honestly looking forward to this matchup as last time we met it was civilized and kudos was given. You hit us hard, took the lead and then gave up when Deso re-organised and came back at you and now you just play for the fights? Say what you will, but we beat you, we hardly thrashed you, at one point i thought we were actually going to lose this matchup.

Actually lol’ing at the forum warriors, boo hoo, you had a morning / day crew and were keeping pace / beating us and then you burnt out. Deso still has the same people that have been driving forward the will to win and keeping tags up. We win the war of attrition :P We’ll win, we’ll celebrate and the Deso community will grow stronger. We’ll chill out after leagues, crack open the beers and karma train everything to death.

As for the rest, meh, you win some, you lose some, you win epic fights and you die miserably. You beat us Monday morning / day but did we give up? Still plenty of good fights to be had in a near 24/7 action matchup, enjoy it whilst you can

Spend all of last night upgrading FSP garri, it had WP and was almost finished being fortified when i had to leave, with tons of siege inside to be able to defend it. Wake up in the morning, it’s deso green…

I just wonder why i’m even trying to upgrade stuff anymore. No offense but if you can nightcap a keep that should be defendable with about 10 people or less, unless there are 40+ enemy peeps at night, you shouldn’t be in silver…

Didn’t see you complaining when you were ticking 600+ at 3am against Millers and Underworld during the night. I suppose it’s only bad when you’re on the losing side.

Gotta give Gandara major Kudos for defending your WP’d Garri, it’s pretty rare i don’t get a keep i focus on, you fought extremely well and your army of ants repped everything in no time! Had some really good fights all day.

Really looking forward to the next 2 weeks, contrary to belief we do actually prefer enemies to fight, 4 weeks of PvD has caused even some of the PvErs to grow bored haha

The majority of them stopped playing when Maxs quit GW2 in around November on Blacktide. Afew stuck around for awhile before they moved to one of the lower tier servers to try and create a super server. Pretty much failed, Champion of Khorne (one of their main commanders) joined ZDs at some point and then what was left of the people under XAOC moved to SFR where they slowly died out.

Might have missed some of the history but that’s the general bit. Maxs was the driving force whilst they were on Blacktide, without him most left haha.

To be fair Deso and Gandara teamed up against AM on the Friday on the 1st matchup, Deso built 3 WPs in AMs home BL and Gandara let us get on with it whilst using Deso BL as a karma train area hehe If we hadn’t of done that AM would be 2 points up and Gandara 2 points down.

Been following Gandaras PPT closely and it looks like it’ll be a fun matchup next week before the showdown at end of matchup. You guys have had a pretty close matchup, shame Deso hasn’t had much coverage competition since that 1st matchup

We were 17 SoW + 2 friends yesterday. It’s so fresh to be considered as a blob with “only” 19 people.

How many were PT yesterday on Deso BL ?

Was on about the times the pugs latched onto you and fought us with you PT had anywhere from 20-40 at different times. We were in the BL bored for 1 hour 30 mins with afew AzM to keep us company so we sent some guys to fight whilst we watched haha

FR you gits making me log off alts to be able to kill ya in Deso BL bay, thought i’d take your WP’d Garrison in FR BL to teach you to behave :P

It’s open WvW, you guys farm people all week with 2-3 guild groups, yet when those people blob it up and win we’re un-skilled? Sorry i forgot running with 2-3 guilds and beating a bunch of randoms counts as skill

When i’m commanding it’s very very rare that we get wiped even numbers, and when we do it’s purely because we get outplayed or i screw up and i’m willing to accept that.

Removed the excess and recruitment has re-open. Just to make this clear we are not a hardcore WvW guild in the sense that we have mandatory form ups etc / GvG. We enjoy open WvW and an easily pull in 50+ for event form ups, and we run groups of 20-40 1530-1730 GMT and then later raids by other commanders.

A large majority of people in PT are in WvW when they are online, there is always guild members to group up with.

Was more fun this evening in FSP being able to get all my guys in after the 5panking i got yesterday with our “friendlies” “following”. Will try make it on during the evening with a PT force for some lootbags :P

I’ll be sure to bring PT to EB at some point this week as we’ve been in the BL’s last 2 weeks. Should be eventful

I’ll post the in-server recruitment post to give a general idea;

Anyway PT is for everyone that likes to WvW, if it’s 1 hour a week or 60 hours a week. It is a guild that anyone can invite friends / people to and is also for people already in a WvW guild. New to WvW and no idea where to start? Join PT and find out what’s going on where and who is leading where. Fire away with any questions or queries you may have without fear of being ridiculed like team chat. There will be no elitism (from me I know right! Lol) it is aimed to be a sociable environment.

There are no representing rules, there are no mandatory form ups and you will not be kicked if you don’t play WvW for any amount of time and lastly there will never be any organised GvGs. The only reason you will ever be kicked is for inappropriate / disrespectful behaviour or for leaving the server.

Ideally we will end up with active WvW player from Desolation in PT for organisational purposes. Log in and no-ones online in your guild? Check PT and see how many people are currently in WvW and see if any commanders are active, drop someone a /w and you now know what’s going on.

Commanders that enjoy community leading will use the MOTD to post organised community events so you can check up on what’s happening on any day, at any time all without loading up forums. Need more people on a tag, need more people to defend an objective or need to get in touch with someone you had fun with but forgot to add them to friends? Check PT and start whispering people to form up or get assistance.

My idea is to cut out the hassle of looking through friend lists, trying to remember what the name of the commander was in the other map and then trying to get in touch, the availability of being able to get in touch with as many people as possible that enjoy WvW as hassle free and as quickly as possible. With TS being down it would work as a back up to quickly work across all maps, and aid those commanders or players that are unable to be on TS to find out what’s going on.

So that’s how it started around 6 weeks ago and we have since grown to 434 members. There is a mass clearance of inactives in process that requires active verification. By Sunday I will be looking to add what we need to it.

We currently have a very active core that were mostly new to WvW, commanders and experienced members have educated and trained them and now we more than capable of holding our own in any situation.

I am looking for more commanders that can lead at any time of the day or night to provide around the clock coverage. We don’t just raid 2-3 hours a day and then live in PvE the rest of the time, we play at all times and always have people in WvW. Other guild commanders from Deso often pop in and lead or request additional support if it’s during off peak hours and often get 20+ members. If commanders that play in off hours are active, you could easily get more PT for your time.

I run events like 24 hour Paintrain where I command 24 hours non-stop, I think our record was 4.2k kills, 260 camps flipped and 100+ WvW ranks (Birthday boosters) and then last night we challenged AG to bring their A game, around 50 PT and the rest of
Deso fought VII, HoB & VcY and held our own. If matchups are won we run alt karma trains to get them leveled or get people their WvW ability ranks. Last time we ran a reset Paintrain we had over 90 PT on TS.

We use a public TS for WvW provided by Monsieur Grotesque that the remaining guilds mainly use. There is always people on TS and commanders leading public events.

We do a little bit of everything from organised PPT to mindlessly zerging about having a laugh. It’s a big guild that never burns out, if 10 get bored of WvW, 15 replace them or decide to venture back into WvW.

We’re not just a dedicated WvW guild, we’re bigger than that. We provide a guild for those players that are highly skilled but unable to play much so can’t be apart of a hardcore WvW guild, a home for new people to WvW to learn the ropes and a place for other guild members to come and chill during off peak hours.

Deso has server pride. We are the top EU PvE server, do very well in SPvP and on the WvW side of things we have fail cascaded and had mass guild exodus not once, not twice but three times. The same guilds are left to clean up to the mess and we are now currently winning Silver league.

The games more fun when you have been playing with the same huge group of people and members from other guilds often join in on other guild raids and using public TS

Hehe enjoyed watching the VII stream back this morning at work (good ol fridays!) I really REALLY need a new computer, would be able to command so much better when i got 60 FPS instead of 5-10 lmao

We were really short on RDPS last night, i think we had about 60 Wars and Guardians combined so dodge or die was about right.

Was fun, hardest part was fighting all 3 of ya guilds in the open cause you’d hit us 2 at a time and if we landed a melee burst and killed people, another guild would hit our tail so we couldn’t stop the 3rd guild from ressing their dead.

Awesome fights all night. My voice is so sore. Major props to all of you that came out to fight us tonight. Shame we didnt have our starting numbers all night but thanks for splitting up and only hitting us with 2 guilds and pugs instead of 3 guilds as we lost DPS.

My highlight was taking Bay. Moving round to south inner to cut off VcY whilst leaving portals to portal bomb HoB as they came in. Killed half of them only for VII to smash into us was it? After that massive fighting left right and centre till we got in and then the 10 minute fight for lord room. Pure awesome xD

And looking forward to watching the VII stream tomorrow, be nice to see where we screwed up and where we did well.

You too Will be running till 2100, 2200 if the fights are good. That should be 2-3 hours after your form up. No moaning about lag guys, told you to bring 3-4 guilds and we would be running a blob. If you guys struggle getting ya guilds in i can always split the zerg in 2 for better fights etc.

Which was a really fun fight, which you would have won, if you hadn’t suddenly decided to run after me for 2 min so over half of your group got taken out by our gladians :P That was the defeat, but a really nice fight!

I was leading on my level 24 Necro and most of PT was on upleveled from karma training on UW BL, when we switched to AG BL we only got 30 in, rest running on me untagged were not on TS or listening :p nether the less it was a fun fight and as I only command 1530-1730 weekdays and the fight finished at 1723 I called it and went off to munch on my Indian :p

I will get an organised force online during prime time before the end of the week and will make you guys eat every bit of bragging that has be thrown forward. Da Pain Train is coming, the question is, are you ready?

You will see Deso’s organised force active towards the end of the league sadly, i haven’t even bothered trying to log in for primetime because there is no chance in hell i can get an organised force big enough to fight you guys.

Rest assured, once Deso loses most of it’s PvErs again you will have something to contend you in primetime, in the mean time, enjoy farming our pugs, enjoy capping high primetime, whilst our pugs enjoy karma training your kitten during the day and night.
