I was leading on JS side, was for sure a hell of a fight, but i don’t feel we were more than you guys !

Thanks for the mostly fun 24 hour pain train, killed many a zerg and shed many an angry tear. Highlights were def Reseting the WP’d garris with none stop fighting …. but then the last 2 and 1/2 hour siege of JS Garri, jesus i was exhausted by the end it lol! Major props to you Jade Sea for managing to hold on that long and force us out so many times.

Got something like 80-100+ WvW ranks with a large majority coming from fighting, got off to a shady start with ER beating us for an hour in w/e BL it was, but once i got us organised enough nothing stood in our way!

I suppose this is the most fitting place to post. Inner Sanctum [Coin] has officially left Desolation and EU.
We found it really difficult to find decent fights. Most servers (outside of a few select guilds) in EU seem content with blobbing. Blob busting after a certain point does not improve you as a guild and the constant match-up of this was getting stale. It was also impossible to find any decent fights past a certain time of the EU prime time. Finally, I have information that SFR and VS are imploding from within. Of course, this could just be rumor. However, if this correct, we felt as if this would have a further negative impact on EU as a whole. We are always on the look out for more fights more often and EU just wasn’t providing these at the moment. This has even more impact with the current suspension of GvG’s. Of course, I could be wrong about all of this, but time will tell.
This is my personal opinion. Desolation as a world vs world community is not going to last much longer (of course, if it survives, I will take my hat off to you) but they say ‘third times a charm.’ Alot of people there do not want to move forward due to past Drama’s, causing a wound that would never heal in many peoples eyes (despite the time passing). Many will sit and moan, but not provide solutions or ideas to move the server forward. Past a certain point, community meetings became tiresome. Furthermore, the server is becoming increasingly packed with even more PVE players, further reducing the focus of world vs world and the numbers found within the maps. With the departure of DVG, PPT gain has been all but lost.
Grotesque, my friend. You really are the unsung hero of Desolation. What you did for desolation as a whole was just incredible (this has been even more evident since you stepped down as community leader). I think you and certain members of EXG did an amazing job with rebuilding the server after its second wound. You guys should be really proud of yourselves. I just hope, that you and your guild will not get stuck there, hopefully our paths will cross again in the future – who knows.
A massive shout out to EXG, TLA, CS, DVG, FG and Unit. I really am grateful that myself and [Coin] got to work alongside you. A massive thank you for when you would help defend our GvG’s or move BL due to the queues that would occur. Finally a shout out to GoD. Though in the beginning we didn’t see eye to eye, towards the end we started to develop a mutual respect for each other. Thank you for not interrupting our GvG’s btw.
Finally, thank you to Desolation as a whole. Its not been an easy ride, but there was alot of fun had. I want to give a final special thank you to the PUGS. We have massive respect for you, especially for when we would ask people not to follow us during our events and instead follow the commander tag. Whilst I am aware this can sometimes be annoying, it is essential to what we do and the success we have had and we are grateful that most understood this.
Finally, before we even departed the server, our TS channel on the community teamspeak and our recruitment forum post was deleted by an admin user that shall not be named, we are well aware of who you are. Your actions and bitterness are disgusting and nothing gives YOU the right to delete something from or within the community. You are not and should never be a community manager. Maybe if you focused less on other peoples guilds / trying to sniff out community drama and focused more on leading your own guild, you and that said guild would be more successful.

Deso will be rebuilding until Anet makes WvW appealing to the PvErs or PvE suddenly gets boring, then Deso will have an army of PuGs again. Aslong as FG, GoD, INVI, Coin, TLA, AFTL, EXG and sorry if i missed any, stick around we can still put up a fight during prime time

lately i have only seen desolation playing during prime time, probably tagging up running 60 man raids for 1-2hours and leaving.
i think many in deso can’t be bothered fighting SFR, even if we take all our stuff back and defend/upgrade it during the day, it’s waking up to a +600 for sfr. We can’t win that unless we’d get some nightguilds running (which we don’t have). A second week vs SFR was just pointless and no fun at all for a lot of us.
And yea, if ins tags up, gets a 75% pug group, and still continuously kills an equal sized group under the command of Wemil, thats the 1-2 hours we enjoy
Tell me where he plays if he can beat wemil I will give him a shot to entertain me. If we meet again on reset tonight I promise to try fight him in sunday if you guys dont shy. Tonight I cnat fight you sorry but I am on BSE party
I play wherever, depends on how big the Q is to EB or wheter it’s abit to easy in EB. Then we tend to go guild blob hunting in the BLs :P
I’m away all weekend so will only be on tonight, i will be running a 24 hour non-stop train again this month ** so hope we have SFR and VS to maximise loot and WxP from repeatadly wiping your zergs :P

Even though i am goD i haven’t be able to attend a guild raid for like 2 1/2 weeks due to work, and considering i joined 3 weeks ago it’s fairly safe to say i have never fought you. And as for me rage quitting and border hopping? Never border hopped to get away from a zerg, i’ve wiped 8+ times in a row trying to beat a ZDs blob before and we had to call it a night because others gave up not me. I’m made of sterner stuff than most
Edit- And add your name and guild tag if you’re going to gloat, just so i can make an extra effort when i see you guys out and about

I hope we meet SFR for the organised PT tonight, although i’d be happy up against VS or PS, the more people and guilds to fight the better! Should be on from about 1700 GMT +1 if your about Wemil, round 2? ^^
Covis – there is always 100+ people i nthe PvE channel on Deso, so if nothing fun is happening in WvW you can guess where they all are. Took me a good hour to get 50+ on TS yesterday, usually only takes 10-15 mins So we built 20+ AC in our keep and waited for Wemil to roll through mwuhaha
Wemil can’t even take a T1 keep with that many golems! :P
Joking aside been waiting for god knows how long to be able to play an evening and clash with a zerg lead by you. You smashed us in the first 2 open field fights but i think the amount of swearing i did got people to stop spreading out and after that we did very well and then you rage quit haha XD and without getting into a number argument, we had 18 INVI Coin and GoD combined ^^
Thanks to all the guilds that came to fight us in Deso BL. 3 SFR guilds and then Kodash with 70+ with EoW and BaN leading the way. Most fun night had in a very long time apart from the lag sometimes.

We just rolled in a train for 9 hours against Gandara & AM and ended up with 460 Fragments and 260 Dragonite Ore ….. lol one more day and be done
Bloody Blobbadons seriously it’s such a joy to kill you if we ever manage to catch your blob before you WP out! I thought VS were bad but atleast they actually fight outside towers / keeps once in a blue moon.
Really liking Gandara just a shame i’ve always got 40-50 people around me combined to your 20-30 (you did wipe us with a blob in SM earlier was well done) and i hope you enjoyed all the free tower caps in EB today, told our guys to let you cap em as we focused AM for constantly running away whereas you guys fight no matter the odds so kudos
Spent an hour draining AM EB keep to 0 and just as we go in for the final push and start hitting inner WvW gets taken down, saved by the bell AM! lol

We don’t usually blob to that scale in EB and the BLs after midnight, we had a 24 hour train planned so we just took what we could as fast as we could

Was funny in EB i kept commenting that everytime we engaged you, you all just kinda spread about and it was actually quite annoying haha now i know why!
Was fun most the night it’s just a shame you guys are so good with bloody arrowcarts in towers. Resorted to golems cause siegeing normally would have taken ages as we lost numbers, was quick and easy to remove said arrowcarts :P
Where’s this awesome SFR Zerg Wemil? All I’ve seen you guys do so far is run and hide behind siege, need a challenge please.
Meanwhile my computer just crashed and windows wnt start, running windows recovery so hopefully be back in game shortly hehe

Well finished the 20 hour non stop train, 70 tower flips and 2.6k kills haha After we stopped fighting Zbs and KoA it all got abit boring as we was stuck in a dead bl but things got interesting in EB from about 3am – 8am. See you next time
We all pretty much agreed to just go out and have fun, we could probably hold our own on the weekend but come weekday you guys will take everything :P

Thanks for all the small scale fights in Millers BL Kodash this morning. 4 of us fought in the circle for a good 10 minutes holding off wave after wave till you finally got us, small scale is so much more fun! Down with blobbing haha. I’ll be roaming the BL’s solo or small group for rest of week hope to see some of you around

Honestly stop whining about us blobbing and doing this, that and the other. We got hammered for SIX months straight. Think you’ve had it bad for 2 weeks? Try facing the blob you have in EVERY BL for 6 months and then try actually co-ordinating. All those that stayed are just enjoying being able to take something instead of open field fighting blobs.
We have fought against the biggest blobs in game, and everyone that stayed is now trained in the art of it. Alot of fairweathers have come back to WvW now the storm is over and we are re-training them. At the end of the day if i have fun in a game at your expense, tough kitten, either move server or wait till the next matchup. there has been plenty of decent small scale fights to be had, you are raising in rating and will encounter this more and more so get used to it.
We learnt from VS how to defend stuff properly and keep objectives safe, if you roll organised guilds that can take double their numbers then the pugs aren’t gonna sit there and get farmed all night, they’re going to blob up and wipe you then laugh. Most the guilds that left Deso caused it to become a pug server, so tough kitten, most of you caused this lol
Lower tiers with good fights are —--> that way. In the mean time, drink a beer, join up with friends and go enjoy yourselves >_>
And to add there is now a strong community here where everyone from the core knows everyone else, that counts for more than anything else in my opinion

AM were running separate groups in AM BL, they had 2-3 guilds out and about and a blob. Same for Deso, had EXG, Coin and then me leading 30-35 as a pug group. PS had INC, Dsun. Was some fun fights Afew other guilds out and about also.

You got good co-ordination and blah to you for turning me into a Moa so many flicking times lmao was great fun, think most of Deso left after I started singing lmao was leading an army of pugs or friendlies whatever you wanna call people to be politically accurate haha
