I find it hilarious that charr look the best in that outfit.

I like the all fours animation for my warrior. I’d prefer an always upright animation for my charrdian though.

Elementalist: a Whirlwind brings the mail to you whirling around you and disappearing in front of you

Necromancer: a undead hand grows from the ground to give you the letter, or a Bone Minnion with the letter in its mouth runs to you, like a dog, that brings the morning mail to you

Mesmer: A Clone of yourself comes and shatters at your side, turning into the mail.

Engineer : A mechanic steampunk helicopter drone like seen in the HoT trailer brigns you the mail

Thief: An other Thief appears out of the shadows like a Ninja, gives you the mail and disappears again with a Smokebomb in the shadows

Ranger is basically already the Griffon Mail Carrier

Warrior: A fiery sword of balthazar with the attached mail falls from the heaven at your side…

Guardian: The Mail appears in a shiny guardian theme bluish white yellow mixed light sphere , which bursts like a bubble and sets the mail free.

Revenant: A legend of the mists appears (Razah) and hands you the Mail over

This is indeed excellent.

I think charr warrior should get a warband member to parachute from the sky.

Could there also be an upgrade we can buy for our character that lets us dye our back pieces? I would pay a pretty penny for that…on every single one of my toons.

More charr inspired weapons. I love my greatsaw, and I want some matching secondary weapons to go with it! Release a set of updated charr weapons! There is a mix of animated and non-animated weapons currently for charr cultural weapons. It would be nice if Anet gave them the black lion treatment. I would buy the whole collection >_<

I honestly wish there was a toggle for charr that let’s them stand upright all the time or go with what they have now. While I don’t mind their current animations, sometimes I wish I could make my charrdian upright.

I agree. I’m just glad it’s f2p. I can come back when content actually releases and still not miss anything. ;O

You’ll probably be told to go get some shovels and farm Silverwastes at a chance for a coin. Silverwaste is the new meta game yo.

My point was that it is pointless to take a year long break and come back hoping for SAB at April Fool’s seeing it is almost 100% certain that it will never be released on April Fool’s again.

I wasn’t expecting April release, I was expecting it to just be open. It used to be content. So then I hear minis are coming back out, but still no SAB, that’s just disappointing. April release is irrelevant. The point is we’ll suffer Siege of Org type boredom here, but at least Wow had other things to do if you didn’t want to raid or farm crap, which isn’t the case here. I don’t care it won’t be released on an April, I do care that there is a complete lack of things to do right now. SAB would of been a fun distraction but Anet deems Silvereastes till Hot release is better.

Just lame.

I just don’t get it. I still don’t understand why Anet feels the need to lock it away. The game barely has any content in it, but they feel the need to lock things away. Beyond annoying.

Well, time for another year long break.

It is extremely unlikely that SAB will EVER return as a April Fools again. They have already done that, why would they do it again? SAB will return, but I find it very unlikely that it will be on April Fool’s.

Last time I played there was only two worlds. I then stopped playing for a year. Come back last month and hear that SAB has been down since I left. The fact it’s been down for so long with absolutely no new content, especially since it’s using very few resources to create. It’s not graphics that will melt my computer here.

What actually bothers me is Anet thinks it’s okay to just take out big chunks of content for no reason what so ever. I mean the game isn’t exactly edge of your seat right now is it?

No, Anet thinks it’s good to continue with Silverwaste chest farming. That’s what we should be doing while we wait forever for the expansion. Zerg chest farming.

Yeah…Hot hype is starting to dwindle, because Anet can’t even do SAB. What makes me think they’ll do anything worth while in Hot? If it’s too fun, it’ll got locked away or blown up. That’s all I’ve gotten out of the game so far since I came back.

Ugh…just very disappointing.

It sounds nothing like a bass, but I found I can make melodies with it by spamming notes and going into the next note and spamming it. Amazing Grace sounds pretty mean on it :p

Charr was the whole reason I even checked out the game to be honest. It’s sad to see them be the most underplayed race, but that might be due to all the horrible looks we have to begin with. I have a feeling more people would check us out if we weren’t so kitten in the looks department. It’s expensive to be a good looking charr

The reason they don’t work is because they are European only. Anet apparently gave out the wrong cards, because I ended up giving it to a friend on the Euro servers and it worked without a hitch.

So just thought I would put that out there. Everyone with a code, it won’t work unless you are on a Euro server.

I just got back from the Anet bash in Seattle and tried redeeming my Mr. Sparkles mini pet code, but it doesn’t seem to work. I put the code in exactly as it’s printed on the back of the GW2 credit card looking thing I got from the bag. It only comes up as an invalid code.

Is there anyway I can redeem it or do I have to wait till the new patch before I can redeem it? I tried it with the dashes as well as without the dashes. Neither works.

Don’t you get shattered wings as a reward for getting all achievements for Dragon Bash…? People need to calm down.

What I don’t get is how you messed up this badly? They are your “friends” but you couldn’t talk to any of them at all before transferring to some mystery server which you find out they aren’t on. I’m sure we would all love to get freebies from Anet. I’d like it if they gave me Sunrise, but you know it isn’t going to happen.

Support isn’t helping because you screwed up. You don’t click transfer and bam it’s done. No, there are several safeguards in place to prevent that. Yet you click right past them and agree to everything and expect a refund for not reading anything?

A week of play isn’t anything. Unless they made it to 80, which I doubt since you said they are noobs, they can delete their characters and remake them but seriously, whining isn’t going to do anything.

About how many black lion boxes do I have to open to get a fused item ticket? I’ve opened about $30 worth so far…and nothing. I think it’s kind of ridiculous that after that much money, I get nothing but boosters I won’t ever use or dyes I already had. Blue dyes at that, nothing rare.

So the question is, is there a threshold amount? Are we more likely to get them with magic find gear on? I’ve only had bad luck with these boxes since day one and I really don’t feel like spending anymore money. :\

So I turned this option off and now my game runs a lot better. No more waiting 5 seconds for an ability to go off. I dunno if that was the entire reason why I was lagging terribly, but it’s helping quite a bit now that it’s off.

Also like to note that I tested out other games and they play just fine, so it’s the update they implemented, not my system.

I’m getting horrible network lag as well. Never had a problem until today’s update. Completely unplayable. It’s horrendous in Cursed Shore, but it’s not the only place affected. I’ve tried many zones, and they are just as bad. Click to attack, and I have to wait 2 to 5 seconds for the skill to go off. It’s terrible and I hope ANet fixes it ASAP.

I haven’t had a problem with the game until today’s update. Game is unplayable for me now, which sucks because now I can’t even do my daily and I was really close to getting my ascended necklace.

I guess whenever they fix it…I can come back and play…

What people tend to forget is that the video card requires 400w all to itself, leaving only 100w for the rest of your system to work with. This is extremely stressful on your system and will cause it to shut down randomly because of the strain of maintaining GW2 when things start to pick up in the game. I would suggest getting a whole new power supply. You can get an amazing silent power source for $90 at Fry’s Electronics made by Thermaltake and provides 1000w of power.

Also ran a game with servers based in Korea, and I had a better connection to that than I did with GW2.

I would like to preface this with the fact that I haven’t had any issues with lag until today’s update. None at all. Not even in WvW with 100 people stomping around on my screen. However, after today’s “New Client Build” update, I login and find my game laggy as all get out. The character selection screen is fine but once I get in game, everything takes 2 to 3 seconds to respond after pressing an ability. Even chat takes a few seconds to go through now. This has never happened before. I would have figured that living in Washington State gave me a great connection to the Anet servers, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

I tried testing several other online games, and they ran fine. Even ran Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for awhile and had absolutely no lag issues at all, just GW2. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because as of right now, GW2 is unplayable for me. No way I can do dungeon runs with this kind of latency let alone my daily. :\
