I already did, like I said

Edit: okay, then I’ll search in the Sylvari home instance, but shouldn’t it be in the human one?

First of: I am a noob, so I’m honestly confused and hope that someone can help me.
I had some issues with the Krait Shard before, double clicked it and it was “gone”, my guild didn’t know where stuff like this could be as well. I wasn’t really interested so I left it at that.
I got the gift of sprockets and since I was more interested in that I researched where exactly my home instance was (yeah, I really didn’t know) and where the sprocket generator might be located once installed. I wanted to unlock it with my human, so I traveled to the Salma district, double clicked the gift and… nothing. That was about a week ago, I still can’t find anything in that instance.
If the Krait shard should also be in that instance (every home instance of every character) I can’t find it either, but I unlocked it with one of my Sylvari and haven’t really been in their home instance since then.
So, what did I do wrong and what can I do?

Well, I defended these new events at first..

Okay, so I have been at a marionette event yesterday and Lane 2 failed to kill Warden 2. I still need the dodging achievement for Warden 4, so I moved from Lane 4 to 5. Lane 3 failed to kill Warden 2.. I wasn’t amused. Lane 4 failed, Lane 5 finally did it. Lane 1 killed Warden 3, Lane 2 Warden 4, Lane 3 Warden 5. We won. The end.
So, who is to blame? Warden 2 is the easiest opponent to me and Lane 2 was called “Lame 2” after their faillure. So I think it’s mostly down to luck not really about how skilled someone is as the “Fail lanes” did the more difficult wardens without missing a beat. And I am aware of people moving lanes, but that can’t be the only reason.
And I once portalled into a champ arena and was immediately hit and downed by AoE and rather angry at the char standing right on top of me for not rezzing me, it was Rox, so I had bad luck portalling right into an AoE, there wasn’t anything I could do about it.
So, I think a lot of you need to step back from the “all other players are bad, they are stealing my victory” as that is most likely untrue and as most of us don’t want to watch youtube and read wiki for hours just to be accepted to do something with all the other “perfect” players.
I like the marionette and I like the feeling of a team, especially after a win.

Oh, and all those who think they can’t dodge more than twice: Nobody can, but there is food to make you regenerate agility faster. One of the things one thinks is rather unimportant, like changing skills and traits, but it does help a lot.

Decision time.. thief or ele?

(i would even say pick ranger at least you will have 1200 range (same base armor, more health)).
————-
You could also mention engineer, same range as thief, same armor, more basic toughness.
Wow, engineers and rangers are OP! Well, wait a second: Rangers can’t stealth, their healing has got a super long cooldown and they depend on their squishy pet which likes to fight and keep them in combat (I know F3 but sometimes that doesn’t help) thus slowing them down making it very hard to escape. Well, then engineers must be OP in regard of the other two. Yes, they have all conditions availlable, they have super nice healing options, tons of condition removers, still they have to roll a condi build which means “indirect” damage. Not good in every situation.
How about this: Most classes are more or less equal and it depends on the player if the character is any good or not, that also includes that people have different preferences, I don’t like guard f.e..
I’m playing all 3 mentioned classes, by the way, and I kind of would appreciate it if people (no matter what class) wouldn’t make things up about other classes to make them sound OP.

“You can say “just because you cant see do not mean you cant hit”, I say depends. Depends on what weapon you are using, you need a target cause the projectiles dont go foward.”

Solution for this:
Equip the right weapons
Run with people who have weapons that don’t need a target

What was your problem again?

Who's Idea was it to make it so hard?

@ Tim: I do fight at the cursed shore, the problem is I can’t find people who fight champs with me, other than in the night when a bunch of us meet up, but I still need some champions guarding skill points. And I think that’s a problem which isn’t solved easily as if you make the opponents easy enough so one player could beat them it would be boring for groups, if it’s too hard…
But you’re right, there’s a way between too easy and boring and too hard and demanding. Here’s an idea: leave the dragon as it is and kitten the mobs that come, that would help a lot and make fighting more fun as it wouldn’t take 5 mins to get a finger or zombie down and would help defeating the beast.
And also: PLEASE, anet, do something about the autoattack/targeting, it’s a nightmare and the main reason I will leave at some point because I’m (ranger) hitting anything but what I want to hit (lock doesn’t really help when switching attacks) – and I have never been in a game where the target isn’t automatically locked until it’s dead or the player decides to chose another = it makes no sense.

@Jaxzilla.2406:
Ah, okay. I would love to see a video from defending the turrets as well (no matter from what server and kill).
We have good commanders but they weren’t doing teq, for whatever reason.
