Guild Wars 2

There is a bug where you can be standing exactly next to one of these items and yet you cannot hit it, it takes some moving around to get in the exact sweet spot to be able to damage it like the collision detection is not working on our weapons and abilitys.

This makes it very difficult to attack the aforesaid item during hectic combat, when its a grave burrow for instance..

Although I agree with you OP it seems this is more a suggestion than a bug..

We now have a Guild Stash and guild bankers to facilitate removal of goods

yeh, it changes other colours but not the main colour, you know the largest dye areas.. it seems on legs and chest. It looks ok to other people but doesent look ok to myself.

When applying a dye to your armor it is not working correctly.

For instance I go to the hero screen and apply my colours, on the ragdoll image of my hero window the colours eppear as I want them too.

However! When closing the window then looking at the charcter onscreen not all sections have taken to the new colour. currently this issue is EXTREMLEY prevelant on the strong gladiator armor as the largest section you can dye does not accept colour and is only a dull grey

OK my town set works just fine......

My armor set Is not fine, however to other people it looks fine its just to myself that it does not look correct..

GFX: gtx 295
CPU: I7 920
Motherboard: asus p6t deluxe
memory : 8GB
OS: win 7 ultimate 64bit

UPDATE: other people say there dye works perfectly from thjere own perspective and others perspective.

All ingame settings are on max. Is no-one else got this issue? if not can anyone help me try to resolve it?

Clicking remove dye does nothing at all as well

sorry, i have another update to the bug... When I click remove dye the colours return to original format. This I can see fine... However when i then try to dye the ite again the colour i choose will; not apply propely it goes back to the hoorrible grey colour

Now that ive done this though the tooltip saying dye remover wont dissapear its constantly there....

Hello boys and girls

My question is about the black lion exchange system. Is the trade system server wide or is it cross server?

If its as i think and cross server, dont you think this is slightly damaging to server economy?

My other Question is as follows. Is it possible to trade between two characters only using the blacklion exchange?

If not is there any way to do this in a safe way?

When your in ascalon catacombs for instance which is the first dungeon at level 30, you pretty much have to revive the Downed players, yet once you go from downed to dead then you pretty much have to respawn and run back as fast as your lil legs can carry you

So in most cases i also aggree with asum.

I also agree its a little annoying when you doint get a nice thanks for reviving someone or your downed and a player jus watches you die while they mine the node u got downed trying to get to lol..

one thing to check is that capslcok isent on, its happened to me before so i thought i would mention it.

one idea though that ive had that might resolve issues like this somewhat is during charcter creation, perhaps we could have a list of prefix’s and suffixs for each race in the name section. So we get giood ideas for what a name might consist of.

i agree with you merric you should not have been banned as you tried to resolve the issue. Im just trying to make others understand why the name wasnt acceptable. I dont think that would make any difference hehe

It wasent just adolf though, it was a play on words to do with an infamous historical figure who we all know. That beind said though its in the naming policy not to use names that are representitive of any historical figures good or bad. To quote:-

Its happened in more than one zone. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I agree once the initial rush has died down and you have time to implement this an authenticator usb stick or something similar would be a great addition to the game.

Saying that I agree with the OP that since you realised the error of judgment you tried to rectify the issue so its not your fault, you shouldent have been suspended.

While I ultimately agree with the ban and think your name should be changed, a two week ban for “racial slurs” for a reference to hitler is really stupid. How is a name, regardless of who it belonged to, a racial slur? Offensive name, insulting name, sure, but how is it a racial slur in any way?

I think this name is offensive. For instance if your jewish and this name came on your screen you would be extremley offended.

It seems in many areas of the game. You suddenly hear a conversation between two npcs, this happens when there are no npcs within viewing distance, its very offputting and kinda kills the imersion. thanks

Hacked account. Guild Leaders and Guild is worried..

My guild leaders account has been hacked, the guild is worried pls could you see to this asap.

He plays on whiteside ridge and the email has changed on his gw2 account. He has sent a prioritsed email, he uses a unique email and pass so not sure how this happened.

If you place an item on trade post up to the point where you press ok and change your mind u lose the item…
