the huge targets in the bay of LA are for a mission there, part of a quest where u use a cannon to shoot them..

I think the functionalit for it is almost there already as the AH is using somekind of web based scripts java or something or other... Im almost positive they have mentioned this willcome at some point in the future? lthough I wouldent use it i can see this would be a good idea.

I agree with Iaharl, dont force them to nerf yet more loot from mobs at the start of dungeons/fractals...

would be cool if they did update the game map to reflect this I mean its a nice conversation topic but it wasent the epic event it should have been because of the lag problems.. However they have learned from it which is good

check the dev tracker, keep on reporting them it helps and there willbe another sweep soon garunteed, its pretty expensive to do a sweep every day, i thin they wait for it to build up then sweepaway alot at a time. Also keeping an eye on tyhese bots to see what they do and how they work is probably another reason theylet it buid like this.

This helps more than the ingame bug reporting but both are useful...

not sure try it.. Normally as far as updates go u will be in that instance and locked in tioll ul eave andonly then will u be dc and patched so maybe u can do that and finish the daily then go back in right away and do another..

I play a warrior. I do love it and I dont really play any alts its that good..

Its very easy to pick up and play a warrior but actually quite hard to master the class and get the full potential out of it. soooo many different weapon combinations to try out with them, they have one of the largest selections of weapons ingame atm amongst all the classes. You can go bleed build, shout healing build, tanky build, glass cannon greatsword build, and many many others.. I use axe/sword and longbow and find it works in every single occasion.

everyone knows the rabbits that dont run away are struck down by mixemitosis so were doing the population a favour by only killing the slow non responsive ones...

random is random, i got two lodestones in jade maw chest yesterday. Another in the group got a charged one.. i also had 2 cores in the fractal b4 jade maw in the same run and rare in the chestr b4 that..

Couple weeks ago i got 2 exotics and an ascended ring..

yeh but i dont think it should be as heavy as it is right now its absolutley awful. It kills the feeling of a server being populated. This is the root cause of somepeople going to overflows yet saying there server seems emtpy. Of course its seeming empty if all the players are culled away, do you see my point here?

You see the culling is at a level constantly, why not compromise and perhaps have it switched onprior to large events that may cause this lag and turn it off when its not needed..

Surely this option is preferable?

This is the thread for the PvE culling that we are currently seeing now ingame and things related to invisible monsters and/or players and/or their special effects.

I actually was putting up with it for a couple of months thinking that you would turn it back off and were just tryng something out. It seems however that maybe in your attempts to improve latency during the special events last year, you inadvertantly introduced an awful culling issue that appears ALL the time.. Either it was this or its actually an improvement all of itself that has failed.

You see I was standing there in Lions Arch looking at the forge and I couldent even see the people by the forge having fun..

I am finding the culling in this game during PvE extremley immersion breaking and im sure I am not alone here.. Its hella nnoying when your doing guild missions etc and I call on you to please review the culling in PvE as well as Wv3..

please when you look at the interrupt take a look at the warmasters scripting because he doesent always pop the shield. he also dies Extremley quickly sometimes. even when yur popping stability for him this happens btw.

My problem with one hit kills is iots cheating.. We do not have them, its against the mechanics of our game..

This sort of thing I dont like, its almost like the devs use cheap tactics here instead opf challenging us with intelligent encounters and an ingame method to avoid these one hits without the need for dodge nessecarily

Just played path 3 of AC, and while I like the greater difficulty, (I used to think spider queen was insane, but dodge red circles and remove the immobilise quickly and you’ll be fine). That being said the final boss of path 3 is far too buggy, the NPC regularly fails to deploy the shield, which means instant party wipe after some frantic dodge rolling. We spent about an hour just trying to kill him, resulting in all of us taking interrupts with the goal to catch his skill without fail. We eventually did it but in compared to path 2, path 3 is considerably more punishing and needs a little bit of tweaking and or bug fixing to make the defensive shield more reliable.

Learn the encounters, practice makes perfect i defy anyone to come on here and complain after only one day. Maybe after a week you have a right to make informed constructive critisism but imo not before. In other words suck it up guys c’mon give it a go

I agree that there should be some kind of tutorial dungeon though, before all the current dungeons for low levels to practice and get half decent gear for there level etc. But thats a whole other thread I think.
Actual bugs, which i beleive there are a few like warmaster not bubbling fast enough or not at all on path 3 collosuss but thats different.

I think its a certain time of night that the reset happens. not a 24 hour period. At least thats true for dailys..

Best bet is to use the dissasembler kits for salvaging anything below rare and master for anything rare and above.

yeah this is true, you cabn build your character to more or less get that same feel. By no means as ehra said is it the exactly the same as you must be mobile iin this game, cripple kills.. But yes you can get a similar feeling as a shout heal build warrior for example or gaurdian boon converting reflection etc..

even if the chat is gone the chat log will still be tied to your account on the server seomwhere and this can be checked by the CS representitive investigating your report.

The moral of the story is report them.

I know how you feel and it IS quite hard to adjust too, i myself felt exactly the same way as you at release. I think many people felt the same and some felt that you should already know what your buying etc etc.

IMO give it a good try and like me you will learn to love this new system..

If your in EU go desolation its great for wvwvw spvp and im a pve guy and have a great time here also.

I had to wait almost 3 months to finish my completion in wvwvw ( I dont all day everyday) so you can too :p hehe jus pullin yur leg

I think the op has a point but its a bad solution.

tbh i think alot of this is due to the culling, its doing my head ii cannot see ANY players until 3 seconds after i stand still in an area.... Sometimes i only know they are there due to the spell effects.... You stand on the ledge by the bank in LA for example and u cannot even see whos at the forge.....

I donmt know about everyone else, but ive had about 8 dungeon runs today, with I would say 10 different people in about 3 or 4 different groups.

Now, today the dungeons, im talking fractals and AC and Arah seemed Waaaay much harder to me and my companions than they normally have been over the last month. We couldent put our finger on it but we wrre getting downed more often and even wiping on some occasions.. Now ive run ac sooo many times and i regurlarly take at least 2 low levels in a group of 80’s with me to teach them the dungeon. Ive also 2 manned Ac before all 3 paths with a gaurdian friend and myself (warrior).Today was really really hard, we couldent understand it.. We were all level 80 on all occasions.

Now have classes been nerfed or mobs buffed in instances in general? Bosses seemed unchanged im talking all the trash mobs me and my friends like to kill for loot. I play a warrior but we had mostly all classes in our groups today at some point.

Ha sanyone noticed this today? Or do you think someone or afew people just were having a bad day and wernt playing to full potential? What i mean is have you guys expereinced ramp up in difficulty for trash mobs in instances today??

The only things i can see that have changed is wvw bonuses as everything reset. I did upgrade my accessorys and i chose something different to ptv but after arah i did a grenth trip and slotted equisite saphires in the ptv accesorys i bought and nothing changed.

the graveyard at night. theres an npc that says a ghost comes at night to the graveyard.

personally i think its in ashford, at the nighttime event there.

I play the warrior class and its my only charcter... i love ot to bits and i would reccomend it.. they are easy to pick up but hard to master.. sorry i dont have time to type more...

I dont mind it at all they gacve a 3 hour warning if in a dungeon or other instance thats plenty in most cases..

This is exactly what I want to do. Frostfang in MH Bolt in OH.

In my recent experience I seem to get better drops if I dont play the game for a few days to a week. Is this an actual mechanic to encourage me to play more and hook me back in? It really does seem that if i play hours all day every single day my drops r pretty naff. Yet, the day before yesterday for instance I was in fractals after a few days off and i got an ascended ring, 2 exotics (one was account bound), 2 cores and about 3 vile essences. Also some weapons rare and plenty greens.. This was pretty impressive imo but dident feel right. something is off...

I totally agree with you im always having to go ranged to avoid those 1 hit kill attacks. melee have so many disadvantages to maintaaining there dps in this game. its not about how well you play either. For example even if you play well your still having to do at least 50% more work than a range charcter does just to stay alive. also its almost impossible to match the dps sometimes.

I like the way you have depicted the event chain.

I think champions should be larger the more people that are there, so it scales in size as well as difficulty with the amount of players present in combat.

Pls feel free to comment on if its a good idea if you agree or not and why.

Im ok with that as I use axe in main hand and sword in offhand.. Is this the samew for all legendarys in offhands>?

Welcome to the community my friend. The first thing you should do is check for which server would be more to your liking. There are unnofficial roleplay servers. Also servers which are more focused on wvwvw or spvp. To fimnd this out though you will have to check through the forums and look aty the scores for different worlds and comments from players. Desolation EU is where i play at the moment and i likes it.

Message me ingame and ill do what i can to help you out at the start. Maybe some armor bits etc. Find a nice guild theres a section in forums for this.

Also once ingame the tutorial is very fun to do and the start of the story is good also. Lions arch is kind of the main hub of the game at the current time, most players spam for groups here. Also you will probably not need to go there until you are lvl 15 or so.. take your time and explore and remember that the mechanics of this game are very different to other games.. There is no holy trinity like heal/dps/tank. Each class can focus in an area they like to play.

Dont worry about your skillpoint erxpenditure you dont need to save them up. Also, check out the jumping puzzles, it also helps to fulkly explore a zone before you move on. this will help later on when you try for 100% world completion.

I have some good news this perhap[s might be getting a look at. In the jumping puzzle thread a develepor has stated that having hard to reach vistas wasent really the intention and they perhaps might look at moving them nearer the start of jump puzzles for those few that are hard to get too.. Right! Down to business, we all know that Final Rest has not been looted yet and at the current time its getting alot of the focus and attention from a fairly large portion of the playerbase. What I am interested in, is what ELSE has not been looted yet. What other rare skins are there that have yet to be found...

I would love some kind of list from you devs and staff if that is possible, showing what has not been found yet in the game.. I cannot quite escape the feeling sometimes, that im selling or deleting something that could be really rare

Now im not saying that we should get told where these items drop and how to get them etc just that they exist and havent yet been found.

I think this would be a great, and it would benefit the community by pushing them in a way, into re-exploring the world.

TLDR: request for devs to give full list of items not yet discovered.

PS: if such a list already exists on say wiki or somewhere else I apologise

locations of nodes do change either fdaily or on server reset. maybe this happened? im not sure which or when or how it resets.

what if one was defense infused and
one offense? or maybe the new stat infusions?

neither can i and i am on desolation which is not a bad server.

whatever they changed in the last couple months has made it worse.. if thas not trolling i dont know what is... but no i dont think that, its feedback...
