If BG wins, you know there will probably be people who point to the idiot who kept siege capping us as an excuse. Who knows, maybe it is a legitimate one or maybe it wouldn’t have mattered. Either way I feel bad for all our servers…next weeks thread may be one to avoid for a few days…
Oddly I can guarantee you’ll never see a MERC member in her saying they only field 5-10 WvW people so it’s good of you to clear up any confusion about their numbers for us all.
Side Note: I have nothing against Merc so no one take it that way.
There is like 20 in the first 10 minutes of the first vid with a bunch of pugs. And since each Necro can drop 4 marks it may seem like there are a lot. But I must remember, when 20 ppl are stomping you its better to say there were more to try and save face.

According to SoR BG got hundreds/thousands of players but all day BG had the outman buff on 3 different maps including their own.
5-10 ppl here and there does not = being stacked like SoR claimed the last two weeks. If BG was stacked as SoR says we are would we be in third this week? But we all know you all like to make excuses as to why you were in third and kitten that Blackgate came in and took your cozy #2 spot.
I believe you may want to recheck your facts. MERC alone is a 1000+ member guild. Last I checked 1000 does not round down to 5-10 people.
I use to belong to a guild that said they had 500 members. After some house cleaning only 150 were active. On any given night only 30-40 would show up for WvW.
Please show me the pics of the hordes of Mercs….I an on a lot and only ever see about 20 at most. But I guess when you are underfoot it seems like they have more.

So, I didn’t say any of that, and I’m asking you a simple question. So far you have done a great job of attempted misdirection yet you’ve very obviously avoided trying to answer it.
I appreciate that maybe you’re just venting onto a public forum, but if you do have genuine interest in continuing forward with any type of meaningful conversation I would be glad to do so.
Here is what I have experienced so far:
If SoR doesn’t play PPT we’re “doing it wrong” and “don’t deserve to be in T1”.
If SoR plays the PPT game we’re “unsportsman like” and “to blame” for BGs lackluster performance this week.
If Choo is in the game? We’re jerks/etc/etc, and forum posts get made.
If Choo responds on the forums? We’re jerks/etc/etc and more posts get made.
To me, this kind of “have it both ways” approach is obviously unrealistic and I suppose I could chalk it up to a fail troll failing, but here’s me trying again to move past the silly.
In your thought what is the ideal situation for the current T1 Servers (IE: no Kaineng should be T1 QQ)?
What do you think the problem is without resorting to straw man arguments, novice level trolling, or other sillyness?

If you really want to get back to the second spot you have to focus on taking red objectives not greens. For the last two days on several maps I have witnessed many commanders going for green targets which does not affect the amount of points red gets.
Because BG is fighting for 1st place, not 2nd. SOR is also fighting for 1st place.
Incidentally, JQ NA primetime has softer targets in general than SOR. If JQ had harder targets, BG would naturally tend to attack SOR.
This is not the case.

I do not think BG is fighting for 1st place at least that is not what I hear on vent/ts and what I read in chat. BG can NOT get to second place fighting two servers at the same time so saying it wants 1st place is incorrect imo.
My interpretation, as someone who mostly wvw alone/small groups, is that red woke up this week worried that they would be pushed back to tier 2 and blue is having to fight both green and red at the same time like this weekend where in EB you had the whole green server on one side of the keep and the whole red server on the other side with both NOT capturing the BG Keep and green waiting for red to make a move.
In my honest opinion I think Green is not purposefully aiding red but they are also working to make sure Blue does not get second place as I feel they may be worried that blue may become a serious contender.
I saw one server using a 70 man zerg last night. I do not think you organize that unless you are worried about your opponent. Now this is just me personally commenting on what I observe. I do not have any involvement with server politics/guilds and my guild only has one member…me, (I am done with hardcore raiding/guilds after wow)
One day I would love to see Jade, BG and Kaineng on the same map
It would have to be a foursome, TC needs to be added to that list.
And I agree BG should be targeting SoR. We do not have the numbers to take JQ unless many many players pull 10-12 hour sessions like they did the first two weeks.
All the talk about transfers was just that talk. BG didn’t get no mad influx of players like SoR said, because if they did then a few guilds taking time off wouldn’t have BG in third.
T1 for awhile will be JQ #1, and BG/SoR seeing who’s players can stay up the longest that week.
I know people are going to call QQ, but SoR is to blame for the lack of good fights from BG this week. We only have 1 guild on in BG at this point and they are fighting a large JQ zerg in EBG. Our ppt is ranging from 85-105. While we’re duking it out with JQ and basically all the BL maps are completely silent and have plenty of points to capture, SoR decides to bring their zerg of about 80+ members to attack us at the same time.This is only one out of many instances.
I know I’d say “QQ” if someone else was saying this, but if you want a reason for the lack of effort this week, it’s because Choo & co. are griefing our players when there is already enough stress on our ppt. Not surprised you guys have such a bad reputation.
The post quality from BG has really degraded this week. I’m not sure if it has to do with the score of the current matchup or what. So much 2v1 talk. It’s rather sad actually. I know on the SoR BL we focus JQ so much that they usually leave the map and go outmanned. BG is usually helping us out with that as well.
This isn’t true, the SoR map has been quiet all morning. Neither a JQ or SoR to be found.
That’s because they have all been on EBG and BGBL.
It is either, is SoS losing points or they are gaining points?
JQ isn’t comfortable where we are, but we have been playing the same SBI-style Third-place-server for months. BG could fight SoS, but not how they are used to. They could hold SoS down, instead of holding JQ down, and actually accomplish something. It would take out smarting SoS at their own tactics and not going for the easy points.

Whenever BG tries to go after SoS JQ does not do the same. They decide to go after BG. We had enough of that all last week.

literally, a SoS zerg wipped out the JQ force hittign a BG tower, and left the tower unscathed.
Anet seriously 2 entire servers on 1 is overkill as this is proved. send a GM in there to see my point and ask yourself if that is fair. the breakout event? keeps failing cause they dont have ot worry about the other server hitting them.
and their home territory? they can send their zerg after us without worrying about the 3rd server hitting them.
this would make sense if JQ and BG were hitting SoS because SoS is the first place server, but they both hitting the 2nd place.

JQ is weaker. We have learned to take advantage of opportunities in front of us. JQ taught us that.
I’ve read SF’s reasons for joining JQ. Although it’s kind of bad to say it as T1, but we do need it.
Not sure about SoS and BG, but JQ actually gets outmanned buffs during NA primetime in EB. It’s during this time that we generally lose our outliners and sometimes inner towers.
Will be interesting next 2 weeks as the new guilds funnel in.
