1. Actually d/p perma stealth but too ashamed to admit it
2. A fotm style part timer running around ganking upped lowbies with some googled build

Initiative – HUGE nerf considering some builds – for others it’s like the same as it was.
Stealth – nerfed for some builds.

Honestly I FAIL to see any boost here to our survivality.

I have no problem with stun warriors. True they’re annoying and fights are long, but since I have warrior also they’re rly predictable. Condi warrior tho is another story :/

Attack 2 different gates with your 2×25 zerg guilds like you did on Shadaran and everybody on the BL will be fine in terms of skill lag. 50+ ppl on a gate is simply inefficient and makes 250 people have a sh**ty evening because of server charge.

I would suggest you to get some knowledge about “ZERG” word before you post bullkitten like this.

I’m a thief also and 2 days ago 3 full GC thieves tried to gank me at the same time.
I managed to shadowstep away after 1 cnd + 1 bs and kill 2 of em before i got downed by 3rd one.

And I’m @ 19k HP and 2,5k armor.

Full GC thieves are in the edge of extinction couse ppl learned how to counter them.

Deso blob is really disgraceful. Not a single roaming group from you, desolation… only a giant blob and some lonely guys tying to join it.

Wow whats with all the QQ? Can’t learn how to play thief and blaming it on the patch? This looks like a ranger thread to me. P/D is one of the most op tactics in game right now with condi meta. S/P is just as useful as it ever was for PvE, blinding powder and pw still wreck all NPC’s . Can’t forget S/D still has perma evade and damage, so sorry it lost 1 boon from all the QQ eles and guards gave it. Thief has it really easy compared to other classes when it comes to patches.

I like fighting Gandara though, it’s not our fault we have to end up blobbing in the end, the only way you can counter each’s others blob is to blob anyway, which we all seem to end up doing to counter each other, I’d be interested in trying to split groups up and try out some different tactics though.

Yesterday in AM Borderland, [WvW] had 30 or so. [FRI] ran with 15 I think and Krosis (later Bjorn) had 40 or so I guess. We never had these at the same place, except if we called for help.

So don’t try excusing your blobbing by saying we blobbed in AM BL. The only reason you and we had skill lag is because of the EXG Blob and don’t try to blame us for that.

I was in AM BL allmost all day and the skillag was also since the queues started.

You guys can’t understand that condi spam is an EASY MODE of fighting? You won’t be able to do same dmg w/o em if you would like to no matter what kind of build you make. Thats why they’re sick.

I’m okay with small channeling time when trap was not triggered by anybody (it can be interrupted), but please remove 2 minute timer on the trap and set it to inifnity like before. Currently, thief can’t win solo against anybody competitive except other thieves and glass cannon eles (and this is only while wielding mighty S/D weapon set), so I think it would be fair.

Then you’re probably play it wrong. Tho I do agree that making even 1 mistake on thief is punished by death while other classess don’t have that problem at all (balance my kitten.

Necros aint even near as warriors are atm.

Tho condition meta is just boring., there’s no skill in it at all (mb except engis) and makes the game non-melee (engis kite, necros kite, mesmers kite, rangers kite, even warriors kite at some point) which is absurd.

I had great fun playing my stealthless S/P thief before the patch. Now it’s totally useless, you can’t kill anything with that.

Forcing us to play ONLY one build aint fun at all.

Great… I was so happy to run with my eavasion thief using S/P. Had a feeling like I’m not like “every1” (and i hate stealth to begin with since it’s kittened and not reliable).

Now dev’s are “forcing” me to follow the massess since PW is completely useless (not that it was so OP before but it was fine).

I spent most of this evening having some very good fights against both Underworld and Gandarra (who, incidentally, are my favourite opponents ever .. still laugh at the audacity of Yarr). CS were running with 15 most of the evening.. got wiped a few times, wiped both server groups a few times. I thought it was great fun .. fair fights, many out in the open. Both servers played honourably and I didn’t feel as if we gave anything other than a good fight.

If you are going to spout vitriol against my server, then I’d appreciate an explanation.

Well you all run zerker, you’re dropping your way to Silver in reckless abandon, with no thought as to who you displace with your easy rewards, you blob greater than I’ve ever seen blob before, your small scale roamers are non-existent, anyone you find in lesser numbers runs away until they find friends, kills you and emote spam and jumps on your corpse, you spam superior siege on wooden towers like there’s no tomorrow and from any example of any Deso I’ve talked to, there hasn’t been a profanity-less sentence. You lie about your supposed weakness and all the while casually ‘lose’ matchups; where is your sense of honour? With servers there’s an overall sense of ‘personality’, in my experience this is yours.
