I wouldnt consider “support” a real high point of mesmer..! Why would you say this?? They can toss out some random buffs but they are no where near guardians.

Really they should take off the timer so you just switch form and stay that way until you’re ready. Its just like an engineer kit, its not like it gives you superpowers, just some options.

And I find the time is not enough to really get any real skill with the abilities, so I dont use it, at all. No time to train with it, abilities are average (worse since you dont know them as well as your class abilities which are turned off), its lose/lose.

I like the lore, also the look of the model seems to fit the world…

They only kill me if I am pushing myself out there a bit too far, but I can never kill them if they are smart and run away. I guess thats the balance.

I think if they charged passively it would be much better, like for cooldowns. Like you have 2 uses, then its off limits for 10 seconds.

I stay clear of having mantras for fear of fat fingering or just plain not being able to look and instead of getting an instant effect i get stuck with channeling something for 4 seconds that helps me exactly zero. This is worse than moa birding yourself since you cant do any attack, except duration is half.

Staff has better survival but sword is better damage.

Personally I dont pair them together but use either with sword/focus. If they are close in you want swords dps.

I have NEVER seen moa morph used since beta.

It is the most useless skill a mesmer has outside of its spvp uses. Please give us something useful!!!!

Go staff + sw/fo and use ALL your skills. This isnt a faceroll class, you need to use all your tools. If its harder I think thats why the people that play it enjoy mesmer, you need to adapt to every circumstance and you have tools to do it too.

Mesmer if fine in wvwvw. If you are looking for more control I’m personally glad this game doesnt have it, too much cc has ruined so many mmos.

Moa sucks for wvw, wouldnt give it the time of day, the other elites affect entire areas and are surefire. Even in spvp is misses if they have half a brain and dodge or interrupt. Dont really care what they do with this skill, its mostly for trolling noobs anyway LOL.

I’ve pretty much always gone staff + sw/focus, couldnt see it any other way. I love all the tools it gives me and the synergy is tremendous.

Panther has stealth for those that want it. thats about it. As a mesmer I already have a stealth elite so its a wash for me. Funny how people complain about stealth but then most wont take it when they can.

Yea I dont get it either, why would I use an elite to become weaker? If the transform actually lasted as long as I liked maybe I could use it more.
