Basically smart enough to stop chasing you 15-20 or so people in our borderlands and ninja your garri then storm hills! We got to bay and met a lot of siege, due to losing all of our momentum so quickly, i lost half my zerg (being 2am in Aus, it was understandable) Im just glad we got to cap as much as we did so quickly

Well, I haven’t seen the only decent guild from IoJ yet, HARD is garbage as usual, GEN is nowhere to be found, TRBO dying and sitting in invulnerable spots, MrFluffy obligatory post of “rooting” for whoever is not DR has already been posted, and ET is so busy in their own BL that I have only seen one player from there so far.
It’s just another week in paradise…

I’m the warrior from RMPT that runs away but actually if you played a burst type warrior with very little sustain you’d realise this is one of the only ways you can stay alive, and to that end I think I played it pretty well considering,
a) you were annoyed enough to point out the running and
b) I finished you a lot more than you finished me because I outplayed you. I drew you out from your party and had my team jump you when you were acting like you had an erection for me and just couldn’t give me upThe game isn’t balanced for 1v1. Try vsing a phantasmal mesmer as a warrior and you’ll note that the odds are extremely stacked against you. Likewise an infinite regen ranger will make short work of a warrior. 1v1 only matters when latency is equal (I play from Australia so again I’m handicapped at 300-400ms of ping) and when the classes are also equal (ie. mirror match of exact same skills/traits). Then you can earn your bragging rights by claiming you can play the same class better than the other person.
If you still think 1v1 means everything then you are extremely narrow minded and probably stupid as well.
Im from Australia too! And dont get me wrong i wasnt having a go! It was a lot of fun trying to kill you and hence why the 2 of us /sit on you when we finally did!

And im not saying im good at PvP, i just button mash and try and pop my heals at the right time! Was your whole party running glass cannon? Because i noticed when i was alone with the 3 of you i melted I knew how to play smart, but i was just seeing red
Would also like to add, we weren’t there to mess with you specifically. DH was at that camp as well and we were fighting them from the other side. (Would like to mention that we thwarted a few DH attempts on that tower and were summarily attacked on sight by the remaining IOJ defenders :L). When DH withdrew, you guys were still aggressive so, what the hey, it’s WvWvW~ let’s dance.
Regarding the comment about running from equal fights, I like to think we don’t in situations where it’s actually even. We’re a small group, 3-4 people tops, so we need to be smart about what fights we commit to. Like Obsession mentioned previously, you IOJ and DH people multiply like rabbits when a fight starts so we have to play cautiously. A 3v3 quickly turns into a 3v6+ when you have people entering from spawn, camp, and tower which were all IOJ owned (and this unbalancing of the fights ended up happening nearly every time).
Still, it was all in good fun. Bags to be had all around.

Were you the XOXO mesmer by any chance? The one we kept giving up on because it took forever to kill? >< We wouldnt chase far and generally stayed around our tower/camp because both were upgraded and didnt want to lose them to DH!
We were planning to upgrade/siege up briar as soon as possible, but your meddling slowed us down a lot Did NSP have people hitting hills/the right side of the map? or were you lot the whole force at that time? :P
Though theres only so much you can do, with so few numbers

Congrats to NSP though, nice reset! Had no idea you were THAT strong >< Hopefully it stays like this all week! Though i doubt it, DH always wins with coverage, and we’ll probably come a close second
Very well put. I love how we, NSP, are getting attacked because we want to PLAY THE GAME AS INTENDED. It’s hilarious to read posts from IOJ that are like, “We didn’t want to double team DH, we just wanted to agree not to attack each other and to focus the attacks on DH!” What on earth do you think double-teaming is???? Regardless, if you look at the match as a whole, NSP basically focused on defending our borders. I worked constantly to just HOLD our blue side in EB. IOJ bragging about scavenging and targeting NSP is simply pathetic.
The moment I lost all respect for IOJ happened late last night. DH was attacking our keep HARD for hours. Felt like 100+. NSP had about 14 players. We dug in and somehow managed to hold off the DH wave even though our keep was bring constantly trebbed and filled with holes. Commander Sydewind led the attack and we drove DH back! Huzzah! We had about 15 minutes to cap a camp and get some supply to fix the walls before the next wave. Umber was off limits, so we ran to Dane. IOJ was just SITTING in Dane, about 10. Not doing anything. Lang was empty, but they weren’t attacking it. They were just GUARDING the supply camp like a junk yard dog because they knew we would need the supply to beat DH. They killed us. We tried again, again they killed us. Each time they retreated into Dane, NOT attacking Lang. Just sitting there. Starving us of supply so DH could take the keep. Which of course they did. At that point I realized the true nature of IOJ. You guys better hope we’re not matched up again because I’m gonna make sure every time I’m in WvW to target your server hard. NSP 4 life!!!

I remember when Ebay, SBI or DH would attack our keep in EB and we’d have DR spawn camping us, we’ve all ran the hard yards, dont act like youre more special than the rest of us!

Those guys sitting in dane, were PLAYING THE GAME AS INTENDED they helped the stronger server at the time flip your keep so they could then come flip it later as they had less numbers. Now if we did that against DH, the week would have turned out a lot better. But no you NSP guys want to “play the game as intended”! Go go gadget NSP!
Its not like the the game was intended so that the 2 weaker servers would gang up on the stronger one

Youre missing the point, an alliance is not attacking each other, we didnt want that.
We just wanted to be on the same level as NSP and have DH as the common enemy! You guys may have been doing that, but not to our expectations and its snow balled from there!
I finished siege to cover the hole and went to build siege on the inner west garrison gate..but was met with a sea of red names and a green ring in lords as i jump down. Sad face GG
Thats all understandable, but with a paper tower taking out the balista should have been the least of your worries, the ram should have been top priority, im pretty sure you should have been able to put an ac on the cliff edge out of site from the balista! And if all else fails, an AC behind the gate never hurts, just a friendly heads up! Dawns is a very easy tower to defend, but paper gates, lack of supply, players and call outs makes it understandable! Also our group was low on pugs and mainly more experienced WvWers that knew what they were doing, we were going to get that tower one way or another
Oh and also, im glad the distraction treb worked! Our attack on water gate took a while to get going as people didnt quite understand and DH were being annoying!

Basically, I’d say that Darkhaven deserves to win this match against us. They have better coverage and bigger numbers. It’s totally fine for them to win. They should win. So go out and just have some fun fighting! This is why they introduced the new matchup system, you know? To get better matchups. Play how you would normally play, don’t just try to beat out a server that you know should win. If you do that, who knows where you’ll end up in the tiers! You’ll probably end up fighting servers who’ll kick your kitten .
YOU seem to be pushing people away. Let’s say that IoJ and NSP did double-team DH to make the score even. If we then stopped the double-teaming, who’d win? DARKHAVEN. If we continued to double-team, who’d win? Either IoJ or NSP. Guess what? That’s unfair to Darkhaven.
That’s why double-teaming is stupid. The bigger server will always come out on top once you stop teaming. If you don’t stop teaming, it’s unfair and makes the teaming servers look like kitten.
Wheres the sense of competition!? What kind of attitude is that! Oh that servers got a better coverage, lets just let them win?
DH probably care about winning as much as the rest of us! They want a good close match up. We’re 2 weaker servers, DH is the stronger server, how is it wrong to gang up on them? How is it wrong to make them work for the win? Why give them the win so easily!

You guys are losing ranking because you were expected to win this match and yet you come here bragging superiority to a tier 7(almost tier 8 ) server that is pretty much aware of it own position.
When you look at it this is still a close match up and on the old system we would have been probably locked together for many weeks. I’m looking at your server history and you guys had quite a drop what happened? Tier 1 to us???
Mass exodus of January 2013, 1 big guild said they were leaving, and it snow balled from there, as the free transfers were closing a lot of the guilds didnt want to be stuck on a PvE based server…even though we were t2-t1. A lot went to Fort Aspenwood and they ended up being the same/lower server than what we were! Its sad that it happened, but IoJ is definatly a much closer/stronger server because of it!
WvW was dead after the exodus, myself, Counter Barrier, Nudibranch among a few others kept on fighting and a lot of our commanders are close now <3

Imagine how much closer the scores would be, but instead you guys forced our hand and made us wipe your borderlands with your “ethics” and “morals” no “alliances” Have fun being a 3rd place server the rest of your life whilst we’re here playing for first!
