DH has low oceanic presence.. wow.. that is a kittening joke. They literally got 90% of their points from their oceanic coverage. It was a daily occourance to wake up to no borderlands or EB after logging off with all of it. And we never faced SF, last time we faced SF was in October. We beat nsp every week, because they had 0 night time coverage. We lost to GoM cause they have a solid NA primetime and a bit less oceanic coverage than DH. And whether you want to admit it or not, your NA primetime has received a significant boost since we last faced you, whether it is transfers, your uplevel zergs finally hitting 80, or increased PvE involvement, you easily put up similar numbers to DR during NA primetime now.

Yes, DH do have a low oceanic presence, it was the best time for us to hit them, we were able to flip their borderlands/corner in EB most nights. The reason you woke up to a green borderlands is because DH would wake up as soon as oceanics logged off…Oceanics would make your borderlands paper, of course theyd hit yours first.
And you still insist we recieved a boost in NA…I will still deny that.
This is the first time it has been DR vs IoJ, there is no other powerhouse server, IoJ is solely focused on DR, and its now that you guys actually realise how strong as a server we are with out a powerhouse server for you lot to leech/cherry pick off of.

But we were never seriously outnumbered by DR, DR found us as an easy target because we were focussed on the real enemy, y’know, the big server that had the most points? My last screen shot was the most PPT IoJ has seen in months, we were 15 points off of the most PPT, we were all pumped (and sad) that we got so close! It wasnt a bragging ss going all “Ha ha we’re winning” not at all, it was simply a screenshot for the people that werent there at the time to see how close we’d gotten. So why do DR forum warriors feel the need to come to the forums and say our borderland defence is horrible? That they can just rampage through it with ease.
My post about hills was mainly directed at them.

People are constantly posting on here and its clear they only focus on 1 particular time zone and never seem to grasp the fact that the game is 24/7.

Im IoJ by the way (if you look at my signature) im one of a many commanders that prefer to stomp DR over any other server, i get some sort of sick joy out of seeing that bit of green pie nearly gone!

What my post was pointing out is that, we had maybe 25? people in your map, your hills had paper gates (WHICH we realised after we got the outer wall down) It took 3 catas longer than i expected to get outer down, and we ended up getting the gate down faster (i now know paper gate over reinforced walls erryday) no you guys didnt have mortars, not even cannons, there was no upgrades going. But 1 ac behind that inner gate should be able to hit our catapults…that would have just ruined our day.
Thats why i hate trying that spot with so few people (2 rangers and an ele, 3 skills that can barely hit a well placed ac) Hills should not be that easy to take >< Though im not calling out your whole server, as ive seen when DR defends…they do not make it easy and we generally win with just pure numbers (I.E My failed rush on Jerries, we didnt wipe because we had so many, and when we lost 6+ catas, 2 acs and a treb to Klovan, which should NEVER be that hard to take)

DR need to see their borderlands as their homeland, why be attacking someone elses when your own one is getting messed up? I myself and many other IoJ commanders, if we see our borderlands flipping colour, we call all the troops back, IoJ borderlands has always been, and will always be the number 1 priority…(SM being at the bottom of that list >:O)

And i actually laughed at you guys complaining about upgrades…you do not start an upgrade on a camp/tower/keep expecting to see it last 24 hours, OF COURSE it is going to flip some time, yes it hurts, yes its sad to see keeps flip back to paper but hey, thats WvW!!! We’ve all sunk 1000s of gold into WvW, if youre complaining about upgrades you might as well just leave…Everyones paid for upgrades, everyones gotten frustrated when they see their keep flip

Dude, the attachment below does not lie. Do you understand the implications of the graphic below? If not, I can try to explain it to you.

Even if your Oceanic force was just as strong as ours…the matchups will still be even, your NA cannot dominate us enough for it to mean nothing, Oceanic time is definatly our strongest, it is what gets us a lot of points, but without our NA strength, it wont be enough.

Once again, play whenever you want. The whole purpose of my thread was to draw attention to some guy bragging about the map after most of our population was offline. I’m not crying, I’ll spend another 5 hours tonight fighting in WvW. Take all the points you can, and then brag about it if you want. If you guys feel good, great for you.

Again tonight. We go over and take half of your map, and they go take half of ours. Guess it makes sense. We can’t keep enough people in 2 maps and still fight in EB, so they are getting easy points. You would think they would attack you in at least EB to close the gap though.

But they said they never play for second so we must believe them!

It is when DR storm our borderlands and flip most of our stuff…Its obviously your strongest time. It may not be our weakest per-say, but its when you guys can get some score on the board against us. Our weakest is generally after the oceanics log off, but you guys dont have that many on then so its not that obvious.

You currently have less potential in your BL than us, and there is no ferg presence. You are getting stomped even numbers, just like the last two nights. I havent even loaded into ferg bl once this entire matchup, and i know the majority of the main guilds are hitting ioj during primetime. We have never played for second in any matchup, and we never will. And there have been several points during the last 3 nights that you have had ~100 ppt while DR has 350+. Your BL defense is hands down the worst of any server I’ve faced, despite having 40-60 on it everynight.

This is the first week of the new matchup systems, how do people expect their server to be put in the perfect matchup? Do you guys realise how different all the servers are coverage wise? There will rarely ever be more than 1 even matchup and you cant blame Arena net or the rating systems for that.

Winning is winning, if we need to hurt FC in doing so, then so be it. That’s not playing for second, that’s called strategy. Apparently it worked considering we are first in potential points, maybe you could learn a thing or two from DR.

Flipping FC stuff is not going to get you into first place, it will only secure you in second. God Im so kitten ed at the fact that NO IoJ solo roam. Like maybe .001% (aka 2 people on the server). Even the half wit almost decent players all roam in groups of 4 at least, so you know, they can kill those solo roaming pests without having to worry about losing! Unfortunately they still lose a lot.

If you want to 1v1 people, go do SPvP, why would people even want to solo? I personally love rolling around in a party of pugs, or even a guild group, we never expect to survive very long, its always fun though!

EDIT: If SF had more run the clock coverage, DH wouldnt have won by such a large margin all the time, we proved that when IoJ held 1st place til Tuesday night!

I was referring to about 2 hours ago, and your bay was taken by a 10 man guild group while you defended your hills, and then your garrison was taken by a large golem group while you had at least 40 defending 20 at NW tower, and then Hills was taken shortly after while you tried to retake garrison. You easily had 50+ on that map, and since I was flipping between IoJ bl and EB I saw the size of the zerg that lost SM to Ferg and it was easily as big as the bl zerg. Continue to deny your lack of a NA primetime presence equal to that of us or ferg, whatever makes your late night pvdoor feel better.

The only way you can see the size of our zergs is if youre on our server. I havent been on GW2 all day but from experience im almost positive we dont have that many people on. Speaking from Australian time, we’re good in the morning, WvW population dies down around midday and then we pick up in Oceanic prime. Your post is mostly assumptions, but okay, whatever makes you losing to us feel better, be careful but, or you guys might come in 3rd this week <3

Just look at how hard you are stomping when you can’t just fight doors. So wait, you guys actually need commanders to put down flame rams / golems at empty keeps/towers? The few times I’ve seen DR have random late night coverage, 5-10 people have taken an entire map with 2 golems and no commander. DR why must we start the name calling and poo flinging so early in our match up? At least DH and SF were respectful towards us. You all just act childish cause we night cap you. No one complained about night capping, we just responded to the kitten talking and chest thumping that you guys did after your night capping. Look at our threads with GoM, they night capped every day and no one cared cause they kept it quiet and even admitted that it was the only reason they were winning.

Yeah no, your boy Oozo complained before we even got to post a screenshot of the night capping. And i apoligize that we’re more vocal than GoM, and of course we’re winning because of our oceanic boys, isnt that obvious? NA guys try and keep the PPT equal with the other 2 servers then Oceanic roll in, get 400-500+ppt for 6-8 hours and thats how we get our score!

I must be missing something. IoJ here and everyone seems really nice in WvW. You can’t really blame us for playing at the times we do. I also have no idea why anyone would try and say that x server is bad because no one solo roams. That is just stupid. Heck I was solo roaming the last time I was on and got a few player kills, flipped some guard points (or w/e you call them, still kinda new), and killed some dolyaks. Obviously the zergs will stand out, but it doesn’t mean that is all the exists :/

Because i dont think DR realise that WvW is 24/7, they judge an entire server by the times that they play on! Not realising theres another 16-17 hours window where people are playing!

And if DR doesnt care about points, stop defending and retaking your stuff then! Points are what make WvW whether you like it or not. Pugs look at the score if they see their team losing theyre more inclined to go PvE, but if your server is in the lead theyll most likely help! I personally have always cared about the score and thats just the way i am, i LOVE seeing blue everywhere on all the maps, and i love that we’re finally, after months, going to win a matchup! Dont hate on us for enjoying this week, dont be a party pooper!

Hey bub long time no talk, as i’ve said before WvW is world wide, not only in America, that was around 8-9pm Aussie time. Please try and not blame us for YOUR lack of coverage, it only makes you look like a tool.

I never said anything about coverage or the scoreboard in our last matchup. Why? Because even though GoM had superior coverage and population they did not have people brag about off hour PPT scores.

If you are going to brag about something, at least do it about something meaningful like winning open field fights against at least even numbers.

Posting screenshots of PPT totals from 6 AM is just pathetic.
