Simply pointing out, DH is decimating our borderlands, DR sends guys to our map to take what ever points they can after DH has flipped them…like dont focus on DH in EB or their borderlands or anything, just lay into the little guy whilst hes down then wonder why we do the same back to you…

I wrote a lengthy post about IoJ only fighting for 2nd and how pathetic that is.
How the only way IoJ and DR are even remotely at the same level in points “your nightly PvD crew” but I deleted it, cos of my disgust for lack of 80s on your server.
I should not be hitting 5 people at a time for 4-5k Mighty blows, just go PVE for a week and LEVEL YOUR SERVER TO 80.
Then, and only then will we be close to evenly matched.

Judging a server on the people that love WvW so much they want to level their alts in there? We’re not elitists, all those guys left in Janurary, whats left on our server are the guys that just want to have fun

And our ‘PvDoor crew’? You mean the the aussies (like me) on our server arent allowed to take your stuff due to YOUR lack of coverage? Give us a break…
Your server is only as strong as its weakest point…If the whole week was like reset the scores would be completely different. How do you think DH gets so far ahead? They have more numbers around the clock…coverage

For one, DR have done this countless times before, a lot of the time when im on commanding in EB We’d be getting hit hard by dh there…then i look at our BL And its slowly turning blue, explain that? Countless times i would push greens corner in eb…only to have DR hit Ogrewatch/veloka and make us retreat back

And secondly why would we play for first in this tier? We dont have near enough coverage to get anywhere close, we know we CANT get first. Whys it bad that we want to be blue and have a change of scenery for once!? I’d like to be able to kill the grub every now and then

Ahh, dh you make us laugh.

You guys weren’t good enough to take any of DR’s keeps so you pulled out of DR’s corner and came back to defend our keep, and went to our borderlands to ninja our garrison

And DR the little scavengers, can clearly see we have all of DH’s attention (DR’s bl being all green, our map slowly turning blue, DH all up in our corner, and we have people flipping camps in DH borderlands) yet, you still attack us? Going for our towers, and flipping camps in our map?

Who do you think DH goes after once theyre done with us in our corner? When i see that DH has taken all your towers and are working on your keep, we come into your corner, and flip your towers that are blue (or try to) in hope of getting DH’s attention because if you guys get wiped from EB, we dont stand much of a chance!
But we cant expect that from your server…seeing as you are trying to spawn camp us when we’re attempting to retake our keep. Beepbeep short bus.

Even through that, us over at IoJ STILL come on day in and day out, retake our map and corner in EB and still push hard.

Besides, I don’t point out flaws in every guild’s play style. If people did that, this thread would be 20 pages long by now. Every guild and player has flaws. If anything, I would say his actions ruin the WvW spirit, not the other way around.

My little bit of friendly banter ruined the WvW spirit? It stirred up a little bit of rivalry to bad you guys will stomp any GEN you come across seeing as we have about 10 people in WvW some that are good at 1v1s 1v2s, but we’re not organised as a group.

You lot are taking my comment ‘Step up your game’ a little to hard… You are good at PvP, thats pretty clear. We caught you at your weak point (Low levels blahblah alts) just like you catch us at our weak points (Capping a camp+low levels blahblah alts+no communication)

I suck at PvP, my guild is 80% PvE, I wouldnt know good PvP if it hit me in the face.
What i do know is that i recognised the guild tags in the group we were fighting, me boasting about wiping your group…isnt that a compliment to your group? Why take it as an insult? Dont get so serious guys, it is a game remember, take a joke <3

And its expected that you guys win, youre organised in teamspeak fighting against groups of pugs…pugs that may be new to WvW, new to PvP, lower levels, and people, like me, that are just not good at pvp going against you guys. You lot defeating twice your numbers is nothing special, it is expected, you SHOULD be defeating that many.

P.S In that video, you wiped a group of people distracted taking a camp…again, its expected that you win.

You say attacking the weaker server is a bad thing…not long after we attacked your BL, we had both DR and DH attack our BL, we had 10 people, no where near enough to defend bay AND hills, but it happens, we didnt just desert the map, we sieged up garrison, we held DH and DR off, then when we saw the chance we went straight back to recapping our borderlands

I know my suggestion from now on is hit IOJ we tried to take it to DH a couple times today but 20-40 man IOJ zergs in our BL pretty much all day kinda borked that up.

We had 2 different groups running around, our group (which started with 10) our first attempt at hills was scouted and we lost 2 golems, the other 2 golems we snuck off to garrison, caputred that used the supply to build 3 more, then went off and capped the map
Oh and remember, its not 2am world wide…the games not only based in America

Feel free to move up to tier 5 with them sick of being zerged in both EB and IoJ BL! As a DR has said, we too do not have the man power to hold off both DR and the countless DH.
As i’ve said before, all we need is another server like us and DR, and we’ll have the perfect matchup, the only thing holding both our servers back is coverage. (DR can pull more numbers, but have a huge coverage gap)

God DuR, how i missed the way you hit us when we try and attack the strongest server, even though it was a poor attempt at an attack on Anz, it caused us to lose our foothold in DH’s corner…if only you put pressure on the other side we could have made them break, but nope!

And may i say that was a nice golem rush by DH on our keep, nearly had me quit WvW for the day, disappointed that we didnt scout that at all.

Itll be a fun week as long as DH doesnt get to zergy on every map like they are now.

DH: If you spent half the time learning to fight players as you do looking for whats not currently being defended so you can PvDoor it, you’d be doing a lot better. Kinda sad the only time you guys come to play is when you have overwhelming numbers and still lose the majority of time (think back to the 2 hours SoS had you on farm at bravost, you finally took it back after we left cause you guys sent some people to pvdoor our keep again).

The other day you guys punched 3 holes in SM walls, ran us out of all 2,800 supply, came in to inner once, got wiped with half the numbers and then ported in mass to IoJ because there was some resistance, even tho you had us clearly on the ropes. Are you that afraid of repair bills? I don’t get it.
I have a feeling AR will get its butt handed to them in t5, but honestly I’d rather die more if it means some fights with people that fight back and don’t run to the lowest populated map and hope no one shows up.

Cute coming from someone in AR, tonight we had most of our force pushing out in DH borderlands whilst AR were taking our stuff in EB aswell as taking camps from us in DH whilst we attacked the keep. DH has your castle and we have them distracted in their borderlands and you push on us in EB and DHBL? We’re already the weakest server without being ganged up on. Practice what you preach fellas.

We were trying to retake our keep in EB from AR when we had DH spawn camping us. How about you guys try and fight AR instead of going for easy points in IoJ borderlands and stop it from being a 2v1 against the weakest server

I’m not sure what it is this week, fair weather players or something but i’m seeing waves and waves of AR in every BL and small numbers of DH & IoJ during my playtime =(

Except earlier today when DH decideded ‘kitten it we want ioj borderlnads’ and stormed bay and garrison at the same time, we only just go done defending bay from AR!
It was a great defense by IoJ, managing to wipe DH then AR in bay, retaking Cragtop twice and defending garrison! Even though we did end up losing bay, DH pushed too hard as we started to crumble, nice work guys, it was great fun
If only the whole match up was like that, and not having to fend off hordes of AR all day.

I kind of wish our servers had peak and off peak hours we’re at the same time! Then, and only then will we know which server is better.
Its sad to see a lot of IoJ’s fair weather players still not come out.
I hope we’re back in full force before the end of the week!

Having 10-15 people running around with me taking hills and bay with no opposition isnt really fun.
Glad to see SM actually flip every now and then and not sit their untouched all week.

Other… Commanders? Yeah, no. Those 8 people were probably the only ones in all of WvW at that time. And tripling our numbers? It’s still 5-6am in the morning.

You guys had our EB keep upgraded to waypoint before your own? O.o

Reset was fun during the first couple of hours,, but he numbers that SBI pulled easily overwhelmed us. Its obvious that all these servers have a decent amount of fair-weather players which will obviously benefit SBI majorly. You guys have nearly doubled your numbers since the first week against us but yet we were still able to get into your map with 15 or so people and took hills and your fully upgraded cliffside and garrison with full supply, we would have had bay too if we weren’t scouted.

Oh and thanks DR for spawn camping us in EB whilst we were losing our keep to SBI, paybacks a kitten, dont you worry <3

What is the strategy for Devona’s Rest? Try and get as much points in before SBI come for them? Thank you DR, for kicking us why we’re down, i wont be trying for Wildcreek anymore, Durios it is.
This isnt just a one off thing, DR have hit us the same time SBI have a lot of times, and we’re still in second?

THANK GOD, you tried something new, other than trebbing down our outer wall, you can actually come up with something else.
Ill admit, seeing the 3 omegas and how ever many alphas bust through that outer gate like that, i was shaking in my booties, but a quick call out to the other commanders and we instantly tripled our forces in eternal quickly halting your advance, another great defense IoJ! Loving this week, we’ve held second for a while now.

Maybe instead of Zerging DR BL at reset IoJ should have gone to SBI.

With the numbers DR can pump out on reset compared to SBI, DR were the priority to hit, though we did have people in SBI, Eternal and IoJ borderlands were our main focus.

Still lots of great fights, gettin real sick of SBI trebbing our towers and keeps from the safety of their on keep/tower i.e the whole push on our keep tonight, you guys can get through outer wall a breeze, but once you dont have walls protecting your trebs, cant do too much to us.

If IoJ and DR had more coverage, this matchup would be perfect.
Amazing first night on reset guys, great fights on all fronts! I wish DR would be like that all week, we need you guys out there, we dont have near enough man power to take on SBI alone, the numbers SBI produce sometimes is mental! We stormed you and took 3 of your fortified towers before a zerg of 30+ rolled through and wiped everything

Lol @ the IoJ guys (particularly the ranger commander) who spent 5 mins corpse jumping me with a majority of their mini-zerg after taking their Bay back on IoJ borderland instead of destroying our siege.

After you disappeared off of our borderlands we went for eternal and god wasnt that some fun!
Recapping our little corner to start off with, started trebbing Stonemist, then golem rushed the inner gate. Then tried to golem rush lowlands, we had the inner door down to 5% before you killed our last golem :<
Tried to keep pushing for lowlands but our morale just got lower and lower until SBI finally woke up and pushed us out. Was a great final push for IoJ, really wish we could have taken your keep though, would have been a nice little bonus

Being one of the commanders on at the time desperately trying to defend bay, can i just say thank you DR, i dont know if you guys noticed, but you wiped them trebs out, then proceeded to intercept SBI at Arahs Hope whilst we were pushing them back off of bay!

And SBI, that was a very sneaky stratergy you guys pulled, i love it! Im just glad i noticed that the outer gate was down and called for a mesmer sweep which found your catas before it was too late
I had to log not long after that, so i dont know if you guys ended taking it, but you sure deserved it!

I love this weeks match-ups, towers and keeps not going down with out a fight mainly us defending and SBI attacking but still, lots of fun!

Trying to take Wild Creek from Stormbluff, what a kitten of a tower to take!
Having 2 attempts at it, both times having the wall down to 10%, never ended up taking it! Wish DR had pushed a little harder onto SBI instead of taking our undefended Ogrewatch tower…
But great defense by SBI, you guys really dont want to lose that tower, but we will get it one day, you can bank on that! >:]

Loving the match up so far, a lot of close fights with all servers

If you find a commander to not be all that good at commanding, why not try and help him? I see a lot of people yelling and bagging commanders, i myself used to cop a lot of it till the mass exodus of IoJ, rather than actually talking to them, trying to help them out. Or better yet, stop whining about the bad commander, and stop following him.

People only care about their own noses… Why help someone if they can just throw rocks at him and find a replacement?

I’ve been thinking about getting the Commander Compendium to try rally people to do efforts on the maps where we are outmanned (I’ve tried without it, but like i usually say, people only listen to the Blue Dorito Man), but then I think people will problably just think i’m some baddie (since i’m not of one of the “Big WvWvW guilds”) and ignore me even more…

I felt like that when IoJ was high tier 2 tier 1 late last year, my guild being very small in WvW, and me being a fairly new commander i would only chuck the tag up when my guild was in there fighting, otherwise i would constantly cop kitten from other players, saying how bad of a commander i am…(Mind you a lot of the commanders then were very new, there is no way they could be good) But since this mass exodus of our server, all those people have gone, there is no more bagging of commanders, i have actually been receiving compliments from the players that stayed behind.

The commander tag NEEDS to become account bound, being one of the few commanders behind, i feel the need to always have my tag up when in WvW, leaving me no time to run around on my alts (I find WvW the funnest way to level) I hope this is one of the things they add to the commander tag.

If you find a commander to not be all that good at commanding, why not try and help him? I see a lot of people yelling and bagging commanders, i myself used to cop a lot of it till the mass exodus of IoJ, rather than actually talking to them, trying to help them out. Or better yet, stop whining about the bad commander, and stop following him.

I find this is a great idea, it would be a lot easier to control your guys if your commands out in chat a lot more, people will be more inclined to read it! I hope they buff the commander tag with somehow in the next patch.

[GEN] Generation Gaming has been on Isle of Janthir since the release date! We are a casual guild and are always looking to have fun in Guild Wars 2.

The mass exodus of Isle of Janthir has sadly left to some of our guild members to jump ship along with the bigger guilds like many of the other guilds that stayed true to Janthir!

Being the WvW commander of my guild I’ve started to jump into WvW a lot more lately and have noticed my guild lacking some interest in it, leading me to try and recruit more people as I’d like [GEN] to be a somewhat known tag among the WvW community!

A lovely game of gang up on the weaker server and let the already stronger server win by a mile!
We tried splitting our forces in both Eternal and our borderlands, only to lose bay in the first 5 minutes, then have immediate pressure on both Hills by EB, and Garrison by DR, all the while being pushed back in Eternal.
Just a little demoralising but im sure IoJ will not be breaking that easily!
Its only the beginning, fight on guys.
Will hopefully be just as fun as last week
