That reminds me, and I am sorry for deviating the subject a bit but it’s been answered, why is it when I choose Canada as my country, the prices do not adjust to CAD? I always end up paying around 5$ more when it bills and I just don’t understand why the system is not showing me the CAD prices.

Presumably because it only has two pricings that it displays, American dollars and the Euro.

That’s disappointing. I used to buy prepaid credit cards because I don’t own a credit card (I’m a student) so it was a real pain in the kitten to deal with the extra I had to pay because of currency exchange. I always ended up with approximately 7$ left on those cards that I couldn’t use because of the increments of gems.

I have never seen GW2 gemcards in my area.

As you can see in the video I recorded, Thunderclap suffers the bug where an AoE’s effect affects bigger than the edge of the circle but on top of it this new bug that has been introduced with heart of thorns where some fields 100% of the time look like friendly combo fields even coming from an enemy. It is really obvious with Thunderclap and requires quick fix as it is quite impactful bug to have in sPvP.

Maybe because you don’t have to RNG 4 fractals in a row to get one big reward at the end?

The time it takes to do 2x Swamp + the recommended fractal for 3 end chests and 2 daily chests is a bare fraction of the time it took to do 4 random fractals before. Of course it’s going to be slightly less reward per fractal.

I don’t think you’ve done fractals past level 60 then. Some are easy, a lot are plain stupid HP sponges.

As I have voiced my opinion on this matter in a negative light prior to the change, and have now experienced the change I feel it’s appropriate to update my stance on it.

I like the numerical change to the requirements. I think it satisfies me. It makes it lesser of a grind for WvW. I have to say, and solely for WvW, it didn’t fix the core issue of the system employed in my opinion. It makes it easier but it still just encourages players to zerg and karma train to get their elite spec if they only play WvW. There is no retroactivity for someone of a high rank in WvW (while there is retroactivity for pve from tyria map completion) and they are just repeating the same thing they’ve always done so it doesn’t feel like character progression anyway. All these unspent and futile points I have accumulated from ranking up grow to no use at all.
I really would have appreciated a system that lets you spend your rank up pts towards those scrolls. That would have been better for the WvW community. And I don’t mean to imply it wouldn’t have it’s issues but I am of the opinion that it would simply be a better system for WvW players.

Mind you I am actually having a lot of fun in PvE and as of today, getting the HP needed doesn’t feel like a chore anymore even though it is my focus. I can see how the current solo difficulty can be worrisome especially when we think about the future and having to rely on other players there to help but I don’t think the content is that hard or an issue outside of Verdant Brink. With Verdant brink’s verticality and most of the challenge being more related to getting to the hero point, I would’ve expected those to be easier than the ones below. I do not understand why the bat beast hero point in verdant brink is high up there and hard to reach while we have easy to use commune points in the most obvious places (this is just one of the example – and I think keeping one more challenging HP above wouldn’t be an issue either though). I think that’s my issue with the difficulty. It’s more of an inconsistent choice of where to put the challenge. Verdant Brink is the introductory map to HoT, yet it’s HP challenges do not reflect it (and please read carefully I am not asking for it to be easy, just more appropriate to the situation).
If we think about the future and the harder it is gonna be to gain enough people to complete these HP without having to post on LFG or get your friends to help you, the more illogical it makes it for me to place those HP in such non-traffic areas.

But overall I appreciate the current difficulty of the HP challenges. I haven’t found one that was plainly too hard for 2 people. (I think the vampire beast in verdant brink, arrowhead in auric basin and the zintl nuhoch in tangled depths were the hardest for 2 people)

It’s really as simple as if you don’t have leveled fractal mastery 3, your rewards are worse than before expansion (while they announced putting more rewards into fractals) but if you have the mastery they are closer to pre-hot rewards and the mastery system is only available to HoT purchases thus making it so they took away rewards from base game and put them behind a paywall now.

Can we add to acknowledge feedback on how this is affecting WvW players in a very negative way, please Gaile?

WvW is a competitive game mode, this impacts it greatly.
I do not know a single WvW player that has gotten their elite specialization through WvW only and through an healthy way rather than by training captures. This makes me very worried that it will be forgotten or ignored as currently it seems you (the only voice we can rely on at the moment) are only acknowledging people that have gotten it through doing the PvE content which to me doesn’t speak of it being at an appropriate state currently if only people in PvE are getting it hm? When we consider that the option of giving access to the content to WvW players without having to play PvE was added and announced through a blogpost (so judged something important to note), I feel it is appropriate to push on making it fair at the earliest and make sure it is acknowledged.

Thank you Gaile

Unlocking this through WvW is absolute bullkitten, it only encourages karma training, the ranking up has been nerfed yet I am FULL of useless ranking points (sitting at 1,535 rank with 590 unspent points that I literally cannot spend).

In 3 hours of capping camps and towers while wanting to roam, I’ve got 17 of the Proofs of Heroics. As I have finished world completion on my main, I can only buy the maguuma scrolls.
Maguuma scrolls are 10 proofs of heroics. So in 3hrs of play I have acquired 1 Maguuma Hero challenge and almost a second. THAT IS NOT OKAY. That is not acceptable conversion from PvE to WvW.

On top of the fact that I need to spend all 400pts to get my elite skill.
It is DEPENDENT on other players (while it is absolutely not dependent on other players in PvE)

This is a flawed system. It needs to be adjusted and I won’t let people tell me it’s because I don’t wanna work to get the spec. This is unfair.

LOL @ People who think 200 Ranks is not achievable. This is like one weekend with a birthday booster.

LOL @ people that think karma training / zerging is the be-all-end-all of WvW.
60 ranks in 12 hrs with a booster = capping more than doing roaming, defending, scouting, escorting supply, etc. I won’t assume it is all you were doing but really to be that efficient on ranking I would highly doubt you got those 60 ranks by focusing on anything else than eotm style karma training or following a commander tag ALL DAY.

Try 12 hours with a booster of being a scout in a keep. I’m 100% sure you do not get even close to the same results.

Oh btw what is your WvW rank?

Mine is 1,534 Gold Assaulter – that is from playing since early access (since beta doesn’t count). WvW is my main game mode and has been for more than 2 years.

It’s 400 points total to unlock everything in an elite spec training line – I just can’t remember off hand how many points folks have currently if they have done all the existing ones, but it’s right around 200. The rest you’ll need to earn in jungle to unlock the deeper skills/traits/etc. in the training line.

You only need 60 hero points to begin using your elite spec, the points you spend after that continue to unlock more skills, traits, skins, etc.

Again, hero challenges are worth 10 points each in the jungle. So no you don’t need to go do 200-400 jungle challenges.

While I am 100% on board with having to earn, train and unlock our elite specs, I think that 400 hero points is horribly excessive. Especially for WvW only players. (Note: I love PvX and have done world completion 3 times, but play mostly in WvW).

Many WvW purists hate PvE. They hate running around Tyria doing something that does not contribute to the weekly matchup. Which means, they are likely to have NO excess hero points because they have no map completion. So they will need to drum up the 400 points using the new WvW system.

Assuming the Notarized Scrolls of Maguuma Heroics give 10 hero points (which still needs to be confirmed) they would need 40 of these scrolls. At 5 ranks per scroll, that’s 200 ranks in WvW.

(Note: there still remains the unanswered question of being retroactively rewarded proofs in WvW based on current rank — something that Anet should seriously consider since that would be the new WvW hero point system equivalent and having finished world completion!!)

Now, 200 ranks is no small feat. Heck it took me nearly 2 months to go from 1100 to 1320, because I am on a lower tier server, mostly roam with my guild havoc squad and very rarely get in large scale zerg fights or take keeps, which generate the most WxP.

200 ranks will take a heck of a lot longer than finding 40 hero challenges in the jungle. I bet many PvE/PvX players will find their full 20-40 either on launch day or by the end of the 1st weekend.

I highly doubt anyone in this entire game has earned 100 ranks in one weekend of WvW. Even with a birthday booster one. If they have, they spent every waking moment doing it, hard core via EotM or zerg-festing.

And with the new borderlands map being so much bigger and taking longer to get across, we’re possibly looking at earning less WxP than the smaller alpine map has provided, because it takes longer to get somewhere to cap something to earn the WxP.

And what if you’re on a server where your role is to scout and defend? You’re getting even less WxP because defending rewards less than attacking. Which draws the time line out even further.

Then throw in the fact that MANY WvW players hate leveling and will use Tomes to level their Revenants. Meaning that WvW players who want to be a herald on launch day won’t be able to because they’ll have to wait to earn 30 ranks to unlock the elite line, which can easily take a week or more for some players, depending on play styles and amount of play time.

Suddenly WvW players are looking at several weeks to a month just to fully train their elite spec, when PvE purists will have it done in a matter of days. Simply because of their preferences for certain content types.

To make matters worse, if my assumption about scrolls is incorrect — if they give less than 10 hero points — then this timeline is extended even further.

I predict that if this is not remedied immediately, we’ll find WvW players are going to forget about their 1st week’s matchups and storm EotM armed with boosters to karma/rank train just to fully train their elite specs as fast as possible. That is NOT supportive of the new borderlands map or any of the great WvW changes coming. And I doubt this is what Anet is intending.

TL;DR: It takes much more effort and time to get 5 ranks in WvW than it does to find one Maguuma Jungle Hero Challenge. PvX friendly players will have their elite specs fully trained by Sunday. Meanwhile WvW only players will still be working on it for days, if not weeks to come and, will once again, feel pressured to play content they have no interest in, just to get their elite spec. This disparity is way out of balance and horribly unfair.

Thanks for listening!

This post is far back in the pages and I think it needs more attention. This is exactly how I feel why the design is of poor taste or at least really does not transpire much thought put into it, especially from a WvW player point of view.

People telling WvW players they will just have to rank up playing the content they like to do simply do not understand what it is like to play WvW as your main game mode.
PvErs are getting their elite specs before WvW players just because. It is so arbitrary, it needs to be looked at.

On top of that, it has been a focus on Anet to make the game more alt friendly and this is working directly against it. I do not understand why they are having a weird shift like this for HoT.

It isn’t about not working to get the content, it’s about how it’s presented and how it’s failing on the foundation this game has been built on and directed towards. This is a pure grind that is not engaging for MANY (too many) of players. There are many arguments why elite specs shouldn’t be gated at all – which are on their own entirely different than the simple argument that some of us are trying to put forward: The design is flawed and not at all beneficial to the customer.

Just 200 ranks and 6000 badges to get all 40 challenges… iirc

i have the distinct feeling that proofs will not be strictly tied to ranking up.

“Just” 200?

You gotta realize that is for every character (math isn’t verified yet though) and it only encourages one type of gameplay in WvW and it is NOT good for the gamemode.

All the people calling this setup “grinding” I really don’t understand.

It isn’t as if you’re doing the same hero challenges over and over. You’re running around HoT maps, doing events, hitting hero challenges and mastry point thingies. This is exactly the same as all the endgame maps in the core game, orr to silverwatses, just with different icons on the vistas.

It is literally the same exploration-centric advancement model as the core game with the exact same model. There are more hero challenges than you actually need points, so you can skip the ones that are too hard/boring/etc.

Were you all the same people complaining there wouldn’t be anything to do in the HoT maps except grind events for mastry xp as well?

They even threw WvW a pretty giant bone here, and honestly the only “grind” in the system is there for the people who go out of their way to avoid the intended advancement paths through either naturally playing WvW or exploring the HoT maps and jump on the sure-to-be-formed EOTM “lets ruin EOTM by using it to farm” train that people who want WvW stuff without actually playing WvW set up already anyway.

Someone explain to me how this is a grind. It looks like fun progression designed to get you moving around the maps, just like leveling in core.

Do you know what roaming in WvW is like?

It seems to be just one more thing to bloat play time with working to have fun later rather than sooner, and one more indicator they have little faith in the new content to hold us without all these asinine time sinks.

I agree with this person.
As far as my opinion goes; it’s not an outrage or out of anger. It’s literally just disbelief and disappointment. I don’t find it logical or engaging. It’s pretty much illusion of progression to me and forces a certain gameplay. Also not alt-friendly.

This is a ridiculous number. I understand elite specialization are meant to be about character progression and you want them to be meaningful but at this point, such a high number like this makes it required to do SO MANY of the PvE hero challenges or farm EOTM (inb4 we get a stealth nerf on ranking and badges from there before expac) :/ Because otherwise getting ranking up by just playing regular WvW, it will take quite a while even for a character that has current map completion. That’s pretty much just a grindfest. That’s not really progression, it is super rigid and not alt friendly at all.

It isn’t the three days. It is the favor required to begin the guild hall expedition.

I realize that, for many guilds, this isn’t that big a deal. However, for others it is an actual problem, so “get over it” really comes across snide and insulting.

Were still looking forward to HOT. We still respect all of the work that has been done.

We just want to be able to experience something important to our guild as an actual guild group – and do something we actually enjoy doing as a group when the game launches instead of feeling pushed into content we may not want to do. That isn’t a lot to ask.

Do the missions. Get over it.

You get over it, the complaints/concerns are legit

It’s 3 days out of what… 365 per year? No they’re not legit. Just do it like sPvP and WvW guilds have done for the past 2+ years. The only legit concern is about cross server guilds BUT that has been answered already. So yeah, not ground to stand on.

Got a link supporting they have deemed this poll as “official”? I see nothing of the sort in the dev tracker.

gw2wvw hasnt been officially recommended by anet since about 2 weeks after it started prolly because whoever had officially recommended it realized it was the same thing as what they had just got rid of and that they dont want to encourage the kittenty behavior. nevertheless… it was definitely the only site that was ever officially recommended and no other has ever been recommended since, to my knowledge. and i have decent memory and keep an eye out for red posts in this sub, and always have.

his claim is reaching, but it has a kernel of truth.

That is what I was insinuating. They used to at least link directly to that website when locking threads they deemed inappropriate when they closed the matchup forums.

It is probably true that it is not officially recommended anymore as they simply lock out the threads without saying anything now. But I wouldn’t say they stopped linking it after 2 weeks, that seems too short from my memory.

I’ve never said the poll was official though. Only showing what a certain subset of WvW players who are hardcore enough to post regularly on a forum created only for WvW. I never tried to make any claims from the results. There is only 67 votes if you count, you’d have to be dumb to think this to be official and representing WvW as a whole. It was just a counter argument to whoever keeps posting an unofficial poll or that hteir opinion represents everyone.

This wasn’t a claim, and I’m not a he.

I don’t see why people are only wanting to fight for points the first few days of WvW but I do see that it happens. Even though with Gliko every point matters so playing on Saturday is just as important as any other day of the week. If you say people don’t care about the Gliko and winning then again why does it matter when reset is, if people are available and playing on Friday it can still be fun fights.

An unexpected side effect of this change that might be super good. People will log in on Friday and early Saturday because it’s the weekend but won’t care to get objectives or defend them so instead they will just fight each other (maybe). This could make the people that like open field fights just to fight have a bit of the weekend to enjoy.

One thing is for sure, things will feel different for a while and then will settle in to a ‘meta’ after a while (for better or worse).

I really like your point of view.
I think it does still affect negatively people who enjoy playing in EU time on saturdays (I mean past your suggestion) but the argument against making friday night pointless can be broken down with how you see it: People are still gonna be available on Friday! And it could shift into a fun fight night (or even a huge ppt push if that’s what you’re into)

I am fine with the change of the reset day. Fridays are work/school days for me and a lot of people that I know and we’re pretty tired late EST

So “nobody wants this” is quite fallacious, please. Speak for yourselves, people!

But how many weeks during the last 3 years have you thought “this would be even more awesome if reset was tomorrow instead, I hope Anet change it!” followed by posting the suggestion on this forum? Just curious. If you have then sure, everyone doesnt have free weekends. But most does, yes?

I understand others gripes with it or reasoning behind the negative reception, though I know for a fact this will be beneficial for my guild. A lot more people are available on saturday nights than friday nights for us. That is a simple personal point of view. For the greater of the game, I think it’s worth trying instead of having a complete aversion to change which is what I’m reading rather than concern. (this whole “they hate us!!” because they’re changing something /smh) And I do not think that this is something that they would be completely against changing back if it proves to be an issue like people are voicing right now. And on top of that, for once, I agree with Lordkrall. Maybe this change will improve the first 3 days influence on a matchup – or the opposite! Maybe it will be worse. I’m really just about giving it a shot.

I was only posting to voice my personal opinion on it and to remind people to do it in the same manner instead of freaking the kitten out and trying to speak for everyone else

Raid Feedback

all in all, it was fun, mechanics were somewhat obscure, but once they were figured out the mobs melted (except the red one, because we didn’t figure it out :/)

1. Explain the mechanics: In my opinion, the challenge should be in executing a counter to a certain mechanic, not having to figure it out through try-and-error. In case of the three guardians, how to combat them wasn’t intuitive in my opinion. Giving or leaving hints through NPC’s or something like that would speed up the learning-process.

With all due respect (and I mean it, no disrespect to you), I believe you are not so used to raiding in other games. Part of the fun is actually discovering what to do. GW2 is kind enough not to charge for repairs (anymore), think of other games with raids that didn’t explain the mechanics and you still had to pay for repairs. WoW (just to give a popular example, not to compare) lived with no boss explanation for a very long time. It just worked. There were videos on the internet, different strategies. I fear that if ANet gives away too much of the mechanics, everybody would simply execute the bosses the same way, no creativity. Tequatl has no in-game explanation and people figured it out. The Marionette was temporary with no in-game explanation and people figured it out. The final boss at Silverwastes has no in-game explanation and people figured it out.

So to be quite honest, I don’t think ANet is wrong or faulty here. Besides maybe explaining things like: this boss has these boons and throws these conditions, but not telling how it uses them.

Agreed with you, I was about to post my own response to this in particular.

This is not an issue. The 3 “mini bosses” at first are there explicitly to teach the mechanics of the final boss (ofc the final boss is more complicated than just that).
Figuring out the strategy from what you understand of the mechanics is what’s fun for most people that are into raiding – I understand it might not be the case with some but it is why I feel the need to criticize this feedback since I wouldn’t want it to be changed in the future.

Also the mechanics really weren’t complicated enough to warrant that opinion (in my opinion :P). My group figured it out in less than a hour how to do most things right and got the boss to 50% HP (we’re actually WvW/sPvP players) which I found to be quite quick for relatively slightly above average experienced players (of PvE content, we can trio fractal 50 per example but we’re not your optimal comp speedrunners etc) in comparison to other games but as the content it not fully released yet I can’t solidify my opinion on this.

Eh hem, Dare I ask, Why would you like aegis to be removed?

Mesmers shouldn’t get passive blocks like that (we already have so much defense mechanisms regardless of the build), on stealth even less. It doesn’t make sense to me to allow mesmers to keep our stealth uptime this much with that long duration AND on top of that enemy has to pop that passive block in the incredibly short window between the stealth cycling. It’s incredibly easy to channel stealth on mesmer and do it consecutively; aegis makes it even easier to chain it.

It takes away sooooo much of the high risk/high reward play of the class. It would still keep it’s strong play while diminishing the cheesy part of it in my opinion.

Greatsword is still sorta meh. It doesn’t have as high dps a phantasm as staff, doesn’t have the ability to summon illusions at 1200 range, and still is very weak up close.

Wait a second, GS has ability to summon illusions at 1200 range 0-0 I don’t know exactly what I’m missing, because I’d be surprised you wouldn’t be aware… But it completely does. Mirror blade is 1200 range and summons a clone on the target. Illusionary Berserker spawns a phantasm on 1200 range. 2/5 spawns illusions at 1200 range.

Are you trying to talk about staff being capable of summoning an illusion without a target? If so then #3 on staff still requires a target so you’re not really more advantageous than GS for that. I just mean this can’t be considered an arguing point against GS. Everything else you say is right though.

S/Sh S/P or S/S still sounds overall better for most encounters and compositions than Staff to me.

I should have been more clear. Staff will summon illusions that remain at 1200 range, out of reach of nasty boss stuff. Greatsword summons them on target, which is unhealthy for illusions, particularly at the beginning of a fight.

Re: Herald 15 might upkeep

I achieved this with Hoelbrak runes actually, as strength runes didn’t come with the package.

Edit: I can do a bit of math for this real quick. The facet of strength pulses 1 stack of might every 3 seconds with a base duration of 12 seconds. With hoelbrak runes (+30% might duration) this ends up at 16 seconds, which gets you a total upkeep of 5 might permanently.

However, there’s a trait that makes the rev apply might (8s duration) to allies when they apply any boon to them (1s icd). With hoelbrak runes, this goes to about 10 seconds. Since you’ll have multiple facets active, this ends up being an additional stack of might roughly once every 1.5 seconds, for a total added upkeep of about 6 stacks.

Together, this gets us to 11 stacks permanently. Popping facet of nature for an additional 50% duration pushes that to ~15.

thanks and sorry for the nitpicking :P

PS Mistrust isn’t bad. 7 stacks of confusion instantly on my cheesy alt condi perplexity mesmer with one insta cast interrupt of 1200 range. That’s hella fine.

Since 5 of those 7 stacks are from the runes, that’s because Perplexity is “hella fine”, not Mistrust. 2 stacks for an interrupt is just bad compared to what you’ll get out of the clone from DE.

I agree with that, but I think it’s wrong to not consider synergy with runes/sigils when talking about traits current power. I mean, I’m all for a nerf to perplexity but in the current state, it makes Mistrust not a bad trait and since we’re talking about condi mesmer; why would you not choose the strongest aspect of it? 7 stacks of confusion with one insta cast 1200 range skill!! That is not to be overlooked. That will highly affect the result of a fight.

It’s this simple:

BUFF VEIL
BUFF MASS INVISIBILITY
REVERT PU BACK TO +1s

End of story. Or no, we’ll keep avoiding the real issues and keys to balancing Mesmer stealth.

Not like 50% is much different than +1s for the prestige and decoy, it’s just off by .5 seconds. Leave it as is, buff veil to base 3s and buff MI to base 7 seconds, done.

Everytime I see a post of you in one of those complaints about deserved nerfs on mesmer, I feel relieved I don’t have to do it myself. Thanks Fay

PU nerf deserved. Still gonna be played. Still gonna be strong. Although I’d like for aegis to be removed from PU.

I’mma be the party pooper because Thorp thinks he’s being so funny and a great toll – sigh -.-

Don’t go to CD for Doc (though CD isn’t a wrong server of choice). He’s a streamer that runs map blobs of upscale and terrible players. He enjoys playing with his viewers and has his own ways which are not really enjoyable for most and reading your description, it sounds like a terrible idea.

If you go to Dragonbrand for Sea, you will bash doors with 40+ people. Does not look like it is what you want.

I think tier 3 has the best balance for off NA coverage that fill your expectations though I haven’t played in that tier off NA in a bit. Below it’s probably too unbalanced in those off NA tmz.

I think I feel bad for the developers and Anet here.

They’ve designed this huge, pretty, complicated map. And, really, I think it’s too big for the server capabilities right now. However, Anet is hardly going to scrap the map, or cut it in half, or whatever, after spending so much time and resources in creating it.

Which means we have a massive problem that I don’t see a solution to.

If all three servers have “a map queue” size mega blob running around the map, it’ll be hard to find the other two blobs, even if you want to. If they all split into multiple 10-15 man groups, it’ll be easier to run across another group, but at that size significantly harder to take a walled objective (particularly with the new guild buffs).

There was a group of 5, with an Omega, pounding on a reinforced wall of a tower, and it took me more than 5 minutes to find them. Part of that was due to unfamiliarity with the map, but part of it was simply due to “run over here and check this wall….nope, okay, run waaaay over there and check that wall… nope… okay run way over there and -ah-ha!” And even after all that, they were handily defeated before getting even vaguely close to the tower lord.

That was a tower. Not a fortified keep, all of which are apparently 1.5 miles wide, as best I can tell.

So we have two situations:

- defenders present in objectives: nothing can be taken unless you have seriously overwhelming numbers; if you succeed in taking the objective, we wind up with:
- no defenders present in objectives: karma-train EOTM-style

The only “solution” I can think of is to make this the new EB, and keep the current borderlands as-is. Replacing the current alpine set with this will just wind up with everyone playing normally on EB, and using this map as Yet Another EOTM, I fear.

Which is a shame, because there’s lots of neat stuff there. Too much.

That is a very good analysis!
And when you consider there will be 3 versions of this map… they will most likely be dead soon after people got it out of their system.

I like the map design itself with the levels and able to get some silly plays with verticality. For roaming, it’s fun but then counter intuitive design with the NPCs and objectives.

I dislike how long it takes to get back into the fights.
I dislike the NPCs/trash mobs/etc. Overtuned and way too many of them.
I dislike the buffs from guild upgrades/owning certain objectives. They are unpleasant and feel unfair to be honest.
Also the marked upgrade from guilds has to be broken, being tracked from one tower for hours even at the opposite of the map…?! It’s really annoying.

I dislike the focus of the design but the map itself isn’t the issue in my opinion. I don’t find choke points to be an issue for zerg fights since i found plenty of open areas to fight in but I understand other’s opinions on it.

I dislike being able to place siege in areas that are out of reach for assailants.
