What most of you aren’t understanding, it’s that we simply want an answer from the dev, from this “situation”, and after 10 days we want to know if we can spend time to be achivement hunters anymore. A single word from any dev to clarify their point of view would be enough for everyone, i guess.

PvP popolutation isn’t good beacuse people are enjoying the game mode, but for the dailies and the rewards they get with the new glory+gold system.

And, if we really want to be polite, you can complete almost every PvE daily (and with complete i obviously mean doing all the points, not the 5 required) in about 1 hour, but you can’t complete the PvP daily in LESS THAN 2 hours (considering every match played as won, almost impossibile in join-solo). Is that normal for you? Is that equal? I don’t think so.

And, I won’t be tired to say it once more: what we need, and what everyone need right now, it’s a dev reply about this situation, to let us choose if continue playing in this way, playing randomly or simply choose another game.

Maybe because there arent terrible many achievement hunters left after all the stuns anet pulled over the months, and of the smallish amount only a minority also uses the forums. I can assure you I talked to some ingame who are dissatisfied also, but they cant be bothered to use the forums.

Im not wrong, it is just my point of view. I know what a Achivementfarmer think about the pvp daily and there are of course more opinions. But for me as 100% Pvp-player this is a good daily system and for PvP-players only it is very hard to get at least some Achievementpoints without doing pve.
Dont think dailys are just for Achievementhunters.

By your answers, all I get is that you didn’t read anything of what we wrote in this thread. I play PvP too, I’m not ONLY an achievement hunter, but I don’t want to be forced to spend up to 4 hours to complete the PvP daily because all I get are random people who join for the 1st time in solo/team arena. I did some tournaments during the year (just 300, but for someone who play many modalities are enough i guess) for fun, and now I’m forced to do it if i want to compete anymore on the AP leaderboards? Sounds as a joke.

What you don’t understand, is that achievement hunters are not random AP farmers, but players, and people playing ALL the modalities in the game, and every content ArenaNet put out. Most of them are leaving the game beacuse of this patch, PvP players aren’t happy about matchmaking, afkers and random players (consequence of the new 4 daily points), and ArenaNet isn’t even here to get us a kitten ed answer on the situation.

I hope that after this, you’ll get our point of view, something regarding PvP players AND achievement hunters.

Many friends decided to stop logging in everyday and doing the daily, and they’re wondering to LEAVE THE GAME beacuse of the last update where they turn the daily and the living story into another farming round of activities and pvp. I’m sick too about this situation, but i’ve always loved the lore of Guild Wars and I’m playing hoping they will get things better.

Well, without any reply from a dev about this situation, it’s pointless keeping the discussion up.

Really, now almost 90% matches are unplayable, and people on my guild playing sPvP are thinking about leaving everything. I was thinking to get closer to PvP before the patch, but I gave up in like 2 days, this situation is not what a people want to PLAY.

Good job ArenaNet, this time you’ve done a great job on the PvP community, and yet nobody of you give us explanation of anything. Go on on this way, and you’ll have for sure an e-sport as PvP.

Well, I’m an achievement hunter (18k+), a completionist, and I feel to give my contribution to this discussion, ’cause so many people are talking without any knowledge of what people like me do to reach any goal.

We don’t play to be afkers or similar, but to reach a goal, and in this case means we play to win. I can talk about me, someone who played only pvp on GW for 3 years (after getting 37 completed titles) and where I used to be a caller (tactician and team leader) for almost every team, I have to join a solo-match where almost everyone don’t talk to the other mates and play randomly, without any idea of what they are doing, even if you give them instructions.

With this add, ArenaNet didn’t implement a way to get people close to pvp, but a new way to ruin it. What everyone wants here, it’s a reply from any dev, something like “we’re thinking about it/we’re working on it/it’s a test/we don’t care about your opinion/etc…” not an absolute nothing.

I hope you understand that’s it’s not an achievement hunter frustration only, but a pvper frustration too, because THIS IS NOT the way to get people close to sPvP.

Well, this thing is placing random people on PvP, it’s not a good way to let people join this area of the game.

I’ve seen enough during the matchup vs. MS and AB, when they used to push us together to let us stay on the 3rd position (as you can see, on the prev. matchup we did +100k vs. MS). Since only two matchup are missing, I’ll play vs. everyone, I don’t care if it’s named as Gandara or Desolation, till it’s killable.

Anyway I didn’t see any alliances, Gandara is pushing us as always, so we’ll do.

We tried several times, in different ways, without getting the achievement.
This time we died two times, we lost the aggro and we got the achievement at the end.

Dungeon tokens earned by my 4 level 80’s usable to purchase gear for my level 35 Elementalist (once he reaches 80).

Glory earned by my any of my characters unlocks gear for any of my characters who all share a common rank.

WxP earned by any of my 4 level 80’s is exclusive to them individually for absolutely no well founded reason other than “we say so”.

Either redesign WxP so it makes sense as a character bound progression system or make it account bound. As it stands it sucks a big fat furry flea covered kitten with mange and random bouts of incontinence.

I did it several times without getting the achievement (and the same for all my party mates), and i’m still stucked at 16/17.

We’re not talking about a mini code sold on ebay (only a crazy man would spend like 500$ for it), but a minipet that it’s not in game yet. The solutions about something like this are several, like putting it in the gemstore (even at 2000 gems, but we still have golds to trade and we can play to obtain it), remove it from the collector tab (it’s a particoular minipet, you can’t obtain it in game) or just having an answer from ArenaNet about what they’ll want to do with this mini in the future.

An entire collection (and don’t mention the guild wars minipets, here we have a collector tab) ruined for a single mini it’s not a good idea, i guess.

On Guild Wars minis were part of the economy and none of them was bounded to someone until hall of monuments being introduced. On Guild Wars 2 we have a collector tab where we can see “our collection”, a collection that now could been useless for a kitten ed gap that we won’t be able to fill.

There are two hand pointer things that I believe can easily be missed. In zone 1, there’s one before the bridge where the samurai or whatever are that leads to the raft.

In zone 3 there is a hand pointing to a portal on a ledge that is out of reach.

And with those two points did you get the 33/33?

Well, i would agree with you if the mini haven’t been account bound, so every player will be able to obtain it (even with a large amount of gold, like in Guild Wars for “special minis”). And “special things” are not something like “HEY HEY, GIVE IT TO MEH”, i guess.

But, the mini is account bound, so i don’t see why someone who always supported the game can’t obtain it.

As many of you know, the guilds are and always will be an essential element for a MMO, but in Guild Wars 2 seems to have been lost many of these fundamentals. I have several proposals to improve the management of the guilds, to exploit them and to ensure that they are what should be in a MMO: a group, a home.

Member Informations

Managing a guild is not easy, and often there is no need to do that the game provides the fundamental elements for the control of those who are in it, such as:

• A timer that marks how long a guild member is offline.
  Guild Wars had this feature, why not bring it back in the second chapter too? It would be useful and important to understand how many people there actually active in large guilds (example: http://oi44.tinypic.com/dbl43l.jpg).
• Guild you are representing.
  Unfortunately, the multi-guilding system is not used as it should, and a lot of people join different guilds to reap the maximum extremely beneficial. Knowing which guild is represented by them, would help to decide against them.

Guild Halls

Yes, I know, lot of people asked for them many times, but I think they’re a lot important for the growth of a guild and as a place of aggregation. On the Guild Wars’ there were merchants, banks and many other things unlockable, why not do it here too? Many guilds would benefit would be more compact only for their existence.

Guild Scores

Guild missions have been added to the game, and most are very nice, but after having made ??several times, except for the commendations, become repetitive and lacking in fun. Why not implement the scores for guilds with the charts as there was for the Challenges of Guild Wars? I think many would appreciate it.

Guild Merits

The limit of 250 merits is reached easily, once unlocked all the missions, and even if you take up every day the +5% gold buff (the only one useful), there is no way to spend them completely, which is quite nosense. Would be useful to implement other buffs stronger than the normal ones such as +10 supply for WvW (obviously with commendations against the normal 5), more banner and consumables.

I hope that at least part of the post is taken into consideration to improve the game, because I think that guilds are the heart of it.

I have seen many speedhackers, and that is one of them. With lag you don’t, as a guildy said:

“and with none of your guildmates conveniently “lagging” into safety at warp speed.”

With lagging you run into walls, walk into strange directions orso.

This my friend, is called speedhacking. And you would be foolish to deny.

All it shows it how you beat an enemy with an far greater number, hiding within a big group of pure numbers, kinda sad display of lack of skill actually.

The “greater” number was only on the last part of the video, if you want to see great number everywhere except in all your games, remember: WvW is a battlefield, where everyone can join a play with everyone he wants.

I don’t usually make videos of zergs when i command a border, but this time i’ve included some part of this ‘cause someone asked for it, to show our 60+ zerg (and we were about 35-40). But we were 180+, next time i’ll bring with me about 250 people.

And, for everyone: when people from my guild will be back from holiday, we’ll do something different and you’ll be able to show us your pure skill from a WvW guild vs. a PvX one, if you want.

sometimes really i think ppl are still playing with culling ON with my pc with all setting of culling off u was from 45 to 50 or u really think u can kill a guild with same numbers of pug?,how many of u was under the ramp of hill when we inced u all from a side, if u say less than 50 i simply render a video in 20min and show it to u.

I’m not stupid, mine it’s not a WvW guild or either a roaming WvW guild (like yours), so i won’t GvG or something like it where we play with uplvled people, if you want to do something we’ll organize it via sPvP. I don’t have rendering problem, and to be sure about what i’ve posted before, i’ve watched the video again: we were something like 30-35 (mostly pugs), not even near 50. I stop the discussion right here, i don’t see any point to go on with it.

ps: I’m not the kitten talking on an international forum using his language, and when you talk about the server i’m playing for, my server, you talk about me and my guild too.

I’m sure it will be a showcase of bold and daring attempts to outmanoeuvre superior enemy armies, against overwhelming odds and with no help from other guilds, pugs, or without friendly siege suppression fire, and with none of your guildmates conveniently “lagging” into safety at warp speed.
It was finally time for Blos to show us what they’ve got and to enlighten the ineducated masses on the true meaning of words such as “blob” “zerg” and “fair open field fight”

If you want we can include the several situation where we were under attack from another server with trebs attack on our head and you started attacking advantaging of the pressure we received from several targets. And when you engaged the fight alone vs. us, seeing you can’t do anything, you simply ran away.
