What some consider challenging isn’t for others. I did Liadri in my 3rd try (on the 1st time she was available). Some people are having an hard time in this LS content… something that takes 25 to 30 min to finish…
Didn’t even reach the 30 min mark for me and since I refuse to do the grind for the boots I have nothing to do for another 2 weeks, hope they don’t keep this trend 30 min of content every 2 weeks.
Glad they decided to give multiple leggings for alts. Since we are getting 2 pieces next episode, I hope the same is true next episode.

Something like a evolution of GW1 with seamless map(if not would not bother also) but got demoralized at the moment the gw1 engine fork was all about districs, and overflows, i wanted to find what happened to tyria after all those years, see many alternative classes with many diferent builds working together, something more mmo’ish, and it was at teh beggining becouse players were still learning and trying diferent builds until they notice zerk blob stuff due mechanics.
Also new way of GvG’s, since there was no monk, but i was more into wvw castle siege and stuff (as a RO player having flag on main city was important :P )somehting that could honor your guild and work/dedication,

Pretty much this, it failed to be a worthy successor for GW1, it feels like they completely scraped all the good GW1 had instead of improving upon it. The lack of holy trinity is in my opinion seriously limiting the dungeons quality and the poor implementation of condition damage each class should have had they own set of conditions no need for condition stacking or any of that crap. The recent changes to the leveling where another bad decision, it made leveling very boring. The only time I log in now is to continue the LS and that is only a couple of hours every 2 weeks (sort of), I refuse to grind for those Shiny armor skins they aren’t worth the grind/time invested in them for me. Currently waiting for enough content to return if there isn’t some new mmo that I like before that.

This would be the perfect time to uninstall the game and never look back, drops in this game are ridiculous, mobs only drop crap greens and blues and there are people in this game that want to nerf them even more LOL
They should remove precursors from the forge and increase the drop rate from certain mobs.

I think the main problem is that we have a new mounts thread every week, and people are tired of having to rehash the same arguments over and over and over again. Why aren’t they all just routinely merged?
Is anyone forcing you to read? The thread clearly says Mounts just ignore it if you already know what it is all about.
Man I had so many precursors drops from mobs I don’t even know what to do with them its insane.
Archeage mounts are the only thing that game did right, it would be amazing to have that in GW2 (I’m still against flying mounts), I seriously don’t understand all this hate for something you aren’t forced to ever buy, just use your WP and stop pretending you know what belongs or doesn’t belong in the game.
Key farmers are the real MVP’s.

If you feel offended in anyway by anyone just use the report function, as for the farm I see no problem with it and if ANet keeps nerfing every farm in the game there will be a lot of qq about the AH not having certain items anymore or because the price is too high, guess what those items need to be farmed I know crazy right.
There is no easy solution for this problem, they better leave this precursors as it is and when they make new legendaries try to change the way the new ones is acquired.
Although I don’t like the design it sure is well made and polished.

They only get bound when you use them for the 1st time, before you do that you can sell them on the market.
I actually like this idea of removing old skins from the trader, it makes this skins a lot more valuable

While you have lots of information here, non of it is really a problem. The mesmer is hardly like its GW1 counterpart. No reason the same can’t be true of the ritualist.
In fact Mesmer is so far from what it was from GW1 that it could have been named Illusionist or whatever, so what people really want is some class named Ritualist lol
Interesting that you all are thinking of only one aspect of the Ritualist class: Spirits.
Love to break it to you but there is PLENTY for ArenaNet to play with in order to make it a viable class. Do you so easily forget about weapon spells and summoning ashes? It wouldn’t be the same as GW1 but it could be something sweet to play.
Maybe because that wasn’t as fun as Spirit spammer? Or maybe because everyone and they’r mother used that to farm UW which I don’t know if was even possible with ashes.
Healing power should be removed from the game and healing skills rebalanced :x

As i have said many times before, there definitely should be a separate, WvW specific path to legendaries. The same for sPvP. PvE path however should stay PvE only, without PvP-dipping.
Don’t even bother, they think that because they had to “suffer” to do this crap everyone should suffer too.
Support, Legendary is for legendary feats, WvW players have to suffer pve to get legenday is only fair for pve players to suffer WvW. Rank 100 sounds right.

There are lot of ways how to combine items to get precursor… well, rather chance to get it. I got lost now and need help – what happens if I mix (exotic!) 3 harpoons and 1 axe? Will I get random exotic weapon with chance for precursor?
You will get a random weapon of the same rarity (if exotic this includes precursors).

Everything with power + 1 weapon with Sigil of Bloodlust.
Upgrade your gear every 10 levels +/-
Power is “OP” like that for levelling.

This change will make other sets of gear even worse than they are now (ex: Assassins) instead of making them more appealing, Zerker gear will still be the best dps option, to make other sets viable (viable in the sense of an even play field as zerker) pve wise ANet would have to introduce new mechanics and change both dungeons and mob behaviour because right now its just stack and dps. (even gw1 was better in this regard).
I wish I could buy parts of the gemstore armors instead of the full set.
Yes, it won’t change the zerker meta as zerker gear will still be the highest damage gear. When you only have one combat role, DPS, then the gear that affords the highest DPS will always be preferred.
What the nerf does is essentially balance the game. Vertical progression yielded roughly a 10% increase in the power level of the game in its first year. This nerf removes the increase without having to buff the environment. A simple solution: give the power creep that people grind for and then remove it. Of course, the non-grinders in non-ascended zerker gear are taking it on the chin here and they will experience a net loss in power. This is why when you have a power curve you should realize its mandatory to ride it if you want to play the game long term.

But wont that make most gear combos even more useless? People that used mixed Berserker with Assassin for example wont use Assassin anymore because power will be a better stat. What I’m trying to say is that it will reduce diversity if this change doesn’t come with dungeon changes that make other sets more viable.
PS: I’m not complaining about this changes (don’t even have ascended armor yet), I just think that it wont change anything by its own.
It’s not meant to reduce the prevalence of Berzerker armor.
It’s meant to make crit damage to be more in line with all the other stats
And how is that even possible? They would have to remove crit damage from the game to make that happen… (ups don’t give them ideas lol), people use Berserkers because they gain nothing in using something else and this nerf wont change that, they would have to change the dungeons not the armor stats…
Saw this in the “Upcoming changes and features” on the GW2 Wiki:
“Attributes
Critical damage will be replaced by Ferocity. This will increase critical damage similar to the way that Precision increases critical
chance, instead of simply adding percentages to critical damage as is the current function. It has been stated that after this change,
a player with as much Ferocity as possible will have a lower overall critical damage modifier than a player that has as much Critical
Damage as possible currently. This has been done to reduce the prevalence of the Berserker meta.”
How would this reduce the prevalence of the Berserker meta?
Because I don’t see any reason for it, it will make Assassins gear useless because power will be a much better stat I guess, not Berserker, even if the damage is lower it will still be higher than any other set in the game or did I miss something?
This is why pve and pvp should be entirely separate, conditions in pve should be increased in both duration and damage and also they should crit (if they don’t already because all my characters use berserker), another problem is mob variety, there should be mobs that take increased damage from certain kinds of damage (physical, condition…), another thing I hate in this game is the 1HKO that most “hard” content has with makes berserker the best gear in the game at this time (I don’t even change gear on the new Teq fight because I can just dodge the waves and still have the same power as PVT so why bother in getting another set of gear…)
I hate the GS look and this staff isn’t looking any better to me if all the ascended weapons share this kind of look I’m not going to bother crafting them.
Can’t make the daily achievement “Krytan Torchbearer”, I had done the “Luminary of Kryta” already and now it doesn’t work….
I just hope that the new legendary items cant be bought from the tp…
the only problem with this would be that you get the personal story rewards again if they reset it when the new character is created, BUT if the price of the change is something like 20€ its more than paid in my opinion.
If a new class is implemented it will one that uses heavy armor, having said that maybe a class that only uses 2 handed weapons and have 2 handed axes released in the same patch lol
