the 10 recipe worked a lot better for me. Got my 77 clovers, just wish that it was this easy to get the precursor as it was to get the clovers.
We wouldn’t need a Scavenger Hunt if they increased the chance to get a precursor from the Mystic Forge (10% chance would be good enough imo) or implement a fixed recipe.
Now say i pop a soulbound ring in there. Does it create a new account bound ring or does it remain soulbound?
It IS a new ring that you get, sooo my guess is that it isn’t bound to that character anymore.

Chests, mobs in fractal as far as I know don’t drop lodestones.
Lodestones should have almost the same drop rate as a T6 mat, they are just crafting mats after all…
Each time someone finds a way to get some gold everyone will call him an exploiter, for a game that requires no grind it sure needs a lot of gold/farming to do anything.
My only problem with dungeons is that the time vs reward isn’t quite there yet, a dungeon like Arah should give way more tokens than for example Ascalon Catacombs, the time it takes to do a path in Arah is almost the same it takes to finish AC 3 paths <.<"
what Sleepy said, in my conditions build I use Shortbow/Axe+Torch and swap the Axe with a sword when killing mobs that have reflect projectiles like some in the Jade sea fractal.
If only my wolf listened to me, i think i could have avoided at least a hundred deaths.

Which are garbage compared to spirits? they last 20s and have varrying CDs, rarely attack, and their active destroys them.
Spirits last for 60s with a 60s CD, have actives that DONT destroy them, and can buff an infinite amount of people once per 10 seconds per spirit (5 rangers with the same spirit will cause the spirits to STACK meaning if me and 5 rangers bring stone spirit we’d have 100% prot uptime assuming my fellow rangers weren’t dumb with spirit placement), another thing that spirit weapons CANT do is take shots for you, ever lose a fight because you got hit just once to many times? yeah, see those spirits you’re bagging on? i’ve saved my own leafy butt so many times by dodging behind one of those things so it’d eat a finishing blow for me and leave me to win the fight or escape (have also dove INFRONT of them before to ensure they had time to heal back up to full before dying so they’d live long enough to let me proc them again, but this doesn’t happen nearly as often).
But nope, just because they’re unkillable -that- means they must be good right? right?
Would love to see this “if me and 5 rangers bring stone spirit we’d have 100% prot uptime”.
Spirits should be completely removed, they are basically useless, I would rather have access to more condition removal, mobility, stability (is there any other way to get this aside from the elite? not counting signet because it requires a trait -.-).
BUT if you really really REALLY want spirits I would like something like the Warrior banners, something that can’t be killed and has an effect in all party members or mobs close to it.
Ex:
Frost spirit, mobs near frost spirit have chill effect 2 secs every 5 secs
Sun spirit, allies next attack inflicts burn for 1 sec every 4 secs
Storm spirit, allies have quickness 2 secs every 12 secs
Stone spirit, allies near it gain a shield that reflects projectiles 3 secs every X secs
Spirit of nature, heals nearby allies and removes 1 condition every 3 secs
Spirits can’t be killed they last almost the same as theirs CD (unless you kill them for a bigger effect).
Yes the traps range is ridiculous but my main problem is the trait in Skirmishing… -.-
It breaks my <3 to say this but ANet should take a look at WoW Hunter pets and learn something there, the pet just feels right.
I would love to see the pet A.I. improved too:
Ex: pet attacks target, target try’s to run away, pet uses a CC to prevent that (the pet abilities that you can’t control like KD from dog etc).
I wan’t a Skunk with a pink bow tie, his F2 ability wold be – Gas cloud, enemies caught by “this” can’t stealth for 10 secs, if they are in stealth they become visible and get reveled debuff 10 secs. 30 sec CD. lol
JP in WvW should be removed or players in it should have the invulnerable buff (siege shouldn’t be able to be placed inside), players should ALWAYS drop at least 1 badge when killed, some objectives should also grant badges 1 up to 5 (not the dolyaks for obvious reasons) with this you would see a lot more players going for the “objectives”.
Instead of removing stealth from the Thief I would prefer to see the Assassin class back.

You’re pretty much running the same thing I am. I’m a P/D Condition thief and one of the things that I need to do is stack bleeds as often as I can. My advice for you, regardless of WvW,PvE,PvP is to get rid of Roll for Initiative and Blinding Power for Caltrops & Shadow Refuge. I rarely use all of my Initiative as I stealth as often as I can to get the Might stacks and to constantly use Sneak Attack (which lays even more bleeds).

So forgo toughness when getting your gear. You want Power/Vit/Condition. The key to this build is stacking might from dodging/stealth and increasing bleeds via caltrops/sneak attack. There are so many mystic forge recipes that need 250 of a certain T6 fine crafting material that it feels impossible to think that you are against farming and grinding as you stated in a lot of videos while talking about the game. Can’t you put some 40, 67,143… Why is it always 250?
Today i went for farming ogres and found 2 players that were already doing it, so i asked them how many vials of powerful blood they have dropped and one of them dropped 3 in 4 hours and the other 2 in 2 hours, so i gave up farming.
How an i supposed to gather 250 of an item that drops average 1 per hour without doing the same boooooring thing over and over?
And btw i’m not looking to craft a legendary but one of those exotics with the recipe like eldrich scroll+mystic coin+…+… so i don’t think that its cost is justified by the skin because it has nothing that special, it’s just a bit prettier than other weapons of the same type.

hehehe yes but you can still farm for the most expensive t6 mat or/and its t5 (drops a LOT) and use MF to upgrade them ^^
Yeah, it has been this way since the betas. Going out of it breaks Stealth and puts Revealed on you.
In fact before a fix, it removed stealth even after ending, the trigger line was still there making you break stealth when going out of the then invisible line. Thankfully that was fixed.
It’s still bugged for me, wait for the full duration, move and stealth breaks, other times I don’t even get to stealth the skill just doesn’t work at all…

Ascended weapons aren’t in the game yet if that’s what you where asking, only rings and back packs.
Am I the only person more irritated by ele’s instant mist walk back in to towers than anything else? Theives, yeah sure, irritating, stealth is a bit much, but you can deal with it in the right spec and weapon set. Warriors, well I am a warrior, havent used greatsword since the game started, didnt like it, too one trick pony, 100b being so immobile killed it for me, honestly, its rare to get someone in a full 100b attack. I have been sword/sword condition and now I alter between shouts healing tank mace/sheild and sword/horn or crit half tankish axe/sheild for stacking vuln. The two specs there have no issues with any class, necros maybe on the healing shouts build as poisons mess me up good, but otherwise, a good theif can keep away from me as my damage is low and keep coming back, its a long pointless fight though.
Overall, I think warriors and rangers are the two most balanced classes, even though I feel pets along with spirit weapons and illusions should have a range limit. Mesmers are fine, maybe a tad too many illusions, but thats their thing, ele’s are fine, apart from meteor hitting too high in my opinion, guardians are fine, they could maybe do with a bit more definition between dps and tank builds, engineers can be amazingly hard 1vs1, but otherwise, could do with a good looking at for a buff, theives, work on stealth a tad, maybe making the duration between stealths a tiny bit longer, so its an escape, not a method of fighting and necro is fine, in fact condition necros are awesome.
Oh, might as well add my other pet hate, please add diminishing returns on immob’s. thanks.

The problem with the Thief is that you need a specific build just to counter it, I don’t need to change build to counter any other class in the game, the time a BS Thief takes to kill any other class in the game doesn’t even give time to react that’s how fast it is… hooo you survived the BS combo? Get ready to HS spam lol
I don’t even agree with this events being open to people without the right lvl, most of them weren’t helping at all, not because they didn’t help but because they died too fast, most where naked by the time the chain got to the 2nd part of the event lol
That’s an unfair assumption. Most of my guildies were level 80, but they got killed repeatedly due to extreme lag. “Guys, I’m lagging again. Wha- Oh great, I’m down, no wait, I’m dead. Again.” You can’t dodge karka death rolls when things are so bad that your auto-attacks don’t even seem to be connecting. My character was only level 40, yet I only had 4 damaged armors by the end of the event despite being there from start to finish and contributing all the way.
And some people just removed all their armor because they didn’t want to get stuck with the repair costs. Silly decision, in my opinion, but I can understand why they did it.
It may be, but it’s also unfair for others that wan’t to do the events when most of the time they are “rezing” people. I agree that most of the deaths came from the laggy servers but players still don’t understand that up-scaled characters aren’t real lvl80 (just like in wvw unfortunately), their stats aren’t on par to a real lvl80 with rare or exotic gear. This should be addressed by ANet in the future.

The game currently has a clear max stat gear that´s exotics, all other rare skins have same amount os stats, including legendaries.
Now they pump up legendaries and make a new tier, making rarer items more powerful.
They didn’t say they would or that they wouldn’t.
Look, you still had to “grind” to get those exotics(dungeons, karma, tokens, craft whatever), else you would be using rares or worst, what is the big deal in getting a new set of gear?
It makes the same difference as a full exotic player going vs a full rare player, the full rare player if its better will always wipe the floor with him anyway, this makes 0 difference in wvw specially because most fights are won by the biggest mob. In pve if you don’t want to make the dungeon just don’t, you would get the gear just by doing it anyway.

They had multiple skins that were not as expensive as legendaries but still rare, and they had same stats as exotics.

If infusions only give you resistance to Agony, why would there be three types – offensive, defensive, and omni? Why not just defensive?
from the names of the infusions: offensive would add damage against a new mob, defensive add defense against the new condition and omni would do both this things.
this is all specific to the dungeon/new zone and wont work elsewhere.
wvw should have less maps not more, so many servers having an hard time in there, they can barely be in 1 map some times.

The absolute surest sign that a class is going to get nuked from orbit is when defenders of it begin telling everyone that every build someone makes should revolve around surviving their existence.
