The other problem I’ve noticed is that even after reaching past 10, is that most people don’t know how to run the separate fractals. I’ve been in groups where people still don’t know how the switches work to open the doors in the dredge fractals or how the hammer works in Cliffside. By far the most difficult problem I’ve had in running fractals is people all do them differently, or don’t do them properly. People have been carried past 10 by other more active members in the party, and then when you get a party of these passive fractal runner you see nothing but them dying over and over at even the most simplest parts. There have been multiple times where I needed my pet to 1v1 a boss, while I had to resurrect my team. If I can manage my pet well enough (with a system majority of people consider very poor) to hold off a boss to rez 4 people, then I don’t understand why people who have made it past level 10 can die over and over to the same mechanic.

Obviously not. People need to learn the concept of class roles and party composition. If this were an experienced party, they wouldn’t be running a ranger in the first place.

Exploiting literally IS gaming. Anything you leave in the game for the playerbase to exploit to their advantage, we will, and no one should ever be banned for DEVELOPERS mistakes.

If you want to prevent these things from happening in the future, do what most major MMOs do and Create a Public Test Server.

I really hope that they make the scavenger difficult and long enough that players will still think that the 600g or so to buy some precursors is a suitable alternative.

i.e. includes:
-10,000 WvW kills
-90 laurels
-50 guild commendations
-dungeon master
-50 SPvP Tourneys

+ a whole list of scavenger item requirements that can only be acquired through beating tough bosses, acquired at different times at the day, and through solo and team work.

No to guild commendations.
-Not everyone is in a guild.
-Not everyone wants to be in a guild
-Not everyone that is in a guild is in a large enough guild to acquire this.
-Not everyone that is in a large enough guild has the desire to do guild missions at all.
-Not every guild does guild missions, even if they can.

Absolute no to guild commendations. If I dont want to do guild missions, thats how I want to play…i.e. the whole theme of the game. So don’t force me to do that.

That is your own fault. Guild missions are old news, and there are plenty of guilds that will take you. You should NOT be get rewarded for just “playing how you want to play”.

I hope the include all this are requirements, and more. Us real gamers have already done all this stuff anyway.

This is the best post/idea I’ve heard on world bosses, ever.

I missed the Karka and Halloween events, but I’m not complaining. If GW2 didn’t have rare, retired items, I wouldn’t play. Simple as that.

Anyone complaining is just a typical, entitled, nu-gamer that want’s everything handed to them.

Most gamers have programmable mice and keyboards, it would be nice if they would just tell us we can use them. Its not like a couple button macros are “cheating” or an unfair advantage or anything.

I do dungeons with War/guard/mes only. Sometimes only war/mes. Condition builds are for pvp only.

Defensive stats are for newbies. When you learn how to play, and know how to dodge, you can go zerker builds and it works.

Bad people playing zerker, doesn’t make zerker bad. Guards + Zerk war/mes is the ideal party comp for anything.

OP, players like you are the ones doing dungeons wrong. You don’t kill every enemy in mario, or any other game.

That sucks if you are one of the few people that has this problem, and I’m sorry for you, but games should NOT be “slowed down” for you, or anything like that.

3D tech either doesn’t work for, or gives headaches to, about 10% of the population. Their brains just cannot process the image properly, that doesn’t mean progress should stop for them.

Yes, all games should have FoV control, and GW2 may not have this as a standard option, but it can be fixed with a simple change to the launcher, instructions are on this forum somewhere.

They really need to tone down how quickly the Temples are retaken. Hell, Orr is supposed to be clearing out, so it would only make sense to do so. No one wants to do these events, when they take so long to complete, and just get taken back over in 10 minutes.

Alleged reasoning, and amateur suggestions aside. Here are the facts:

Condition builds are useless in PvE. and No good dungeon party will allow any condition players into their party, because they are a waste of a party slot.

Will anything be done about it? I don’t know. Until then, I suggest anyone with Condition builds to use them in PvP, and otherwise stick to power/crit based builds for all PvE content.

The simple, and obvious answer is, we need different rules for PvE and PvP, regarding how conditions are handled.

When I heard about this, I thought it was a good idea. But I thought the chest would appear on screen, where the daily chest does. This would be the best fix, to prevent people from missing drops.

No one can tiny brown chests on the ground, at least it isn’t any easier. On that note, we also need an option to change the Mouse Cursor color and size. I spend more time trying to find my mouse in fights than anything.
