I manged to kill it at my 2nd try. Always had to stop attacking him completely. Sometimes I had autoattack on him while invulnerable then he just “defended” in invulnerable and did not stop and teleport to somewhere else. Also sometimes he still attacked my rocket turret and did 0 damage. Don’t know why. He seemed to attack 2 targets too sometimes. My rocket turret while doing 0 damage to it and then me at the same time. Maybe only visual bug and he only can attacke 1 taget: me. And the attacking of the turret is not really happening.
So you need all the classes because different hints are specific to different classes and only show when you play them. Right? But what with the broken(not damaged) armor one? I played WvWvW a bit and died often and got one red broken shield. This armor piece is broken. But still not marked at the hint screen. Or is this not working in WvWvW and you have to die and break some armore outside in PvE to work correctly?
Also the mail full hint – what happens if I try to get this and accidentally forget to delete mail and complete a heart. Will the reward money and mail be lost then if my mailbox is full or will it be send after I delete some mail?
Edit: Okay. Strange. After a bit walking around the hint tip for broken armor showed up. Thought this would show immediately after some piece gets broken.

So where are the others. I think it showing 7 of 7. But I can only spawn at one. The 7 is for all the zones because it is everything on one map if you check the world map? Meaning 3 borderlands and 1 eternal battlegrounds. But what with the other 3 waypoints.
They are all discovered by default and some are in the enemy bases? But we can’t spawn there. Why showing a waypoint for us then in the first place when it will never be uncontested since it is at the enemy spawn camp which cant be captured.
I hope they’ll fix the green harvesting items that are sold at certain karma vendors(currently only found them in Bloodtide Coast but did not explore everything on the world yet).
They cost 600+ karma each and only 25 uses. Sickle, pick, axe. I added them to the wiki. Tested with a lot of them didnt see better results. Only one was Cloves where I harvested 3 or 4 per use and node. But then again never tried Cloves with a normal sickle. That could just be that they always give 3 or 4 and that it had not been the better sickle. Then they really would be useless.

Yeah. But why does it show a green marker. Went solo in the story mode and thought I could find an entry point to my personal instance there. But not even showing the green story text there anymore.
This is a bit bad game design when you never had to use parties before for personal storyline.
So I think I am at the last quest now. But where do I start it? Marker on the minimap and worlmap are near entry of Arah. But I can’t find it. Do I need to go into the dungeon? Can only go in story mode and I can’t see there where to start the story. And please don’t tell me now that I need to finish the dungeon in story mode first before I can continue my personal story. Since this is considered single player should be finishable without having to rely on a party and do the story mode first.
The easy solution: Maybe sell some stuff for money instead of karma at the Master Chef? They want to make money and more people to buy gems. As long as it is not too expensive it is still okay for people to buy it. Others have that spools of gossamer for example which is getting expensive at higher level and we could just buy with karma and buy some 80 copper stacks of 10 from basic stuff. Maye add more there of the others instead of drops and make them sell for money.
Could this be a possibel solution? Killing mobs certainly not.
I agree. Proper thing to do would be: No damage to items when killed by another player. Of course the rewards for doing objectives in WvW should not include money then. Would increase the fun. Of course it would decrease the money they make. But I would rather pay a monthly subscription instead of buying gems where it you could have to buy neverending amount and end up paying more than with a subscription.
I want to buy them for karma. Other before me bought that stuff for karma and leveled their cooking with this. Not at a trading post and wasted their gold, silver and copper.
Really? Maybe they should just make it the same with the stuff like spool of xxx thread for other crafting professions. Surely will be fun for the others. I think it was enough to have some of the stuff to be gathered. Dropping is okay for the leather and wool stuff in bags. But not the cooking stuff. Was fine as it was. Only the karma prices a bit too low.
Really not worth it now. Not that inresting recipes.
Hope they are going to fix this “bug” soon. Otherwise others that had already leveld cooking to 400 will have a huge advantage. That is really unfair. If I had known this I would have bought tons of stuff and leveled cooking. Now I have to run around the map and farm everything?
I can agree with higher karma cost and making the bulks more expensive. Always seemd too cheap to me. Still easier if you have lots of karma from events and don’t want to buy that 42k karma armor stuff.
Either bring the stuff back to vendors or set everyones cooking crafting level back to 0. Because I don’t like the others having that much advantage. And since the other then will cry… only option: The vendors should sell that stuff again. Waiting a few days and then starting to make ingame ticket and ticket at support website every day and reporting it as bug if not fixed by then. They should think earlier.
Maybe a proper closed beta and open beta would have helped. Then the game would not feel like it was alpha now. Most buggy MMORPG I have played in a long time with all these bugs. And other MMORPGs had longer betas not only weekends = less bugs.
Edit: And if it is only about leveling your character level too fast with doing cooking(character level not the crafting level) then I have a simple solution: Just give NO xp for crafting to character level. Leveling pretty good with high level events. Always running events at the meta events – that chain events. This is enough. Already leveling fast enough.
i asked about chocolate.. i found it in a bag that a mob dropped.
And that chocolate are still per bulk then with a 25 bulk per drop? And drop pretty often? Or do I have to kill 10 mobs to only get 1 single chocolate item. The it would really be a reason to just stop playing the game and ask everyone that has not already bought it to wait until they ended open beta and fixed major bugs and buy it the next year.

Had that bug too. First your troops are not coming with you. Someone said this was not a bug and was in the quest text that they are holding off the enemy. But strange that all the named guys are with you there. You would expect a big fight with them and some action and party lol. And no one was talking about them defending that entrance.
Then that eye was easy to hit and damage only with me and Trahearne. Thought it was an easy fight but did 25 percent damage and he went to perma invulnerable and shooting Trahearne.
And somtimes earlier when he still was vulnerable he was shooting my rocket turret in the center in that water. And somehow he managed to do no damage while only attacking that turret. Maye I should have attacked it… was doing nothing else and damageable. But I detonated the turret. Would probably have counted as exploit killing him while he effectevly is doing nothing.
Trying tomorrow/ later again. The more I progress in story the more it feels like the game is still alpha not beta lol. But certainly not finished. Hoping until october they will have fixed most of the major bugs.
And restarted again. Managed to survive the ambush with losing only guy. And killing the abomination and losing 2 more guys. Still a lot left. But now this time he is standing in front of the tomb.
Edit: Tried again… and this time I walked behind Traherne and let him lead. If he did not move again after a fight where he was behind me after the fight to regoupt I just walked a bit to him and then after he started moving followed slowly behind him. And tried to keep as many troops alive as possible.
Strange thing: This time we all went in. It somehow skipped that dialoge I got at one of my earlier tries where he tolde the 2 named guys to wait outside. Then later at defending it stopped while still fighting. Dialogue. After that killing the remaining enemies and one of those 2 named was there if I saw it correctly – as enemy and risen. So I think they really are supposed to wait outside and then get killed and attack us. But yeah… skipped that part where he had to tell them to wait outside.
But finished now. Nice level 78 yellow weapon that I can use.

Tried it 2 times. First time all my troops stop really early. Can run to the entrance of the tomb and kill some of the spectral guards near to the abomination(I think it was spectral guards or something like that ant then later some other guys spawned). Then running back and forth and killing some undead a bit at the side and then my troops start moving.
Ambush… almost all my people die. Of course not rezzable. Only me and 3 other named guys and 1 vigil guy. Other troops permadeathed. Somehow I manage to kill the abomination. Going in with Trahearne. I died to one of the spectral juggernaut guys. Running back their and killing them. Rezzing Trahearn. Moving forward. At some point he stops moving when everything is cleared and no other mob nearby.

Restarted the mission. Again same but I kill that zombie at the side nearby in the beginning early and move on to the ambush. All my troops die again. Then I somehon cant manage to kill the abominaton. It always respawns the 3 other mobs. Of course I die. Can’t rez my 3 other guys(or they always die soon). And the abomination iskittenus.
Costing too much gold. Waiting for the fix. I hope they will fix it. Impossible to continue the story with only a few useless allies against abomination that is immune to my knockdown skills that usually help against ordinary veteran mobs.
Jumping puzzles count for world completion? Did not know this I thought only the areas that are discovered and you could have discovered the area without having done the jumping puzzles.
Maybe it is just because everyone can farm the stuff that easily? I mean this is not like other MMORPGs where you have to go 100 times in one dungeon to get on item. Then doing this a few hundred times until you have a full set and then being able to go into the next dungeon and get the next set.
Crafted items seem interesting but probably a lot of people just want to farm the stuff for themselves(because it is not that hard to do it) and not willing to pay that much and that’s why the prices are low?
In German forums they were talking about this too. We think this might be related to the other stuff you have to discover to get that “… explorer” rewards. Where you only need to uncover the map.
And afaik a lot of people are missing stuff there. For example Kryta Explorer 175/178.

I also heard there will be some item for the backpack slot as reward for finishing your story(these you can’t craft? and where you got one ealier 30 or somehere?). Is that true?
Yes. I think most people are not aware of the fee. There is the minimum price = vendor price. The price you sell it to an npc vender. And some have just this or 1 copper higher for the low price stuff. With the fee substracted they will have even lower profit than selling to npc vendor then.
Also the prices for raw materials are not sure. You are just taking the prices from the broker. But they could calculate(yeah I know its wrong and they could just sell the raw at the lowest seller price in broker for more profit then but not everyone is thinking that much) with the npc vendor selling price and try to make it a bit more expensive but still cheaper than others.
And maybe people create stuff just to discover the repices because they want everything in the list unlocked and then want to get rid of it fast.

Anyone ever crafted any of these weapons already or from where do we know all the infos? I already saw some recipes in wiki. Or is this info from beta?
And how does it exactly work? I know you need 2 gifts and recipes for these can be bought for 10 gold and needing a lot of high level crafting material and 400 in the profession.
Then I know about this 200 skill points item.
But where do you get the recipe of the weapon? And where do you get the exotic weapon that needs to be used? Do you have to try randomly 2 times here? First some random stuff and hope you get an exotic weapon that can be used to upgrade into legendary(I think i saw some at broker and it way in the description that they qualify). And then try all the gifts(which means you would have to buy all the recipes and craft all of them). Or is every gift working and just giving a different combination of stats?
Edit: And how random is that forge? Does I read about 2 types stuff. Is that random that you could try the same ingredients 2 times and get different stuff? Or is it just like with the other professions: You discover recipe and then you use the same stuff again to make that item. And you have other things where you need to buy recipes that you cant discover yourself? Or more like discovering everythink yourself with some things that can be reproduced when you use same ingredients and others where you get random stuff every time you use the same ingredients?

I think the yellow ones start pretty early in tier 2 crafting. Like between 75 and 150 and you need to buy the insignia recipes at your master crafter in one of the tabs for karma.
The orange stuff I think only at level 400(instead of yellow then the yellow previous I think is already high in the 300+ area). But have not craftet that much. Not 100 percent sure at least not about the orange stuff.

Okay. No misspelling means for example you are not allowed to take the name of one real life politician and change only a few letters? And will get banned for 2 weeks then? (They should be the same for everyone not for something like Adolph Healer more ban than for other stuff).
And reference means that even if you use completely different name and someone could think of that politician then you will get a ban? So for example Raback Boama someone would get banned because it sounds a bit like a real life person: Obama. And same they did with Adolph Healer because Hitler starts with H and ends with r?
That is pretty strict rules here. I can agree with the misspelling if it is really a well known person and you could not have known. But if someone really uses different namens? What if someone just is playing healer an wants to use Adolph as his first name and does not want to use a 2nd name like “healer” but only puts this in the name not as name but to indicate that he wants to support and likes to use heal skills that heal or regenerate others?
There should not be a ban. At least not 2 weeks. Especially not if the person is already dead and probably no one is going to sue the company for this. As long as he is not making some bad jokes in chat while using this nick and only playing the game like everyone else I don’t see a problem.

I NEVER – NEVER heard of this. That beer they are talking about is probably not known everywhere. And even with it being known the name could just be a fantasy namen. Sounds a bit like fantasy and should be allowed. And they banned him. Thats crazy. Probably should make some systeem where you create your char and have to wait for a moderator / game master first to approve before being allowed to pplay to prevent bans. And if they decide to change their opinion later because they find somewhere some trademark and think the name should be changed it is their fault then because they approved first. Then no ban of course.

There was this guy on YouTube that made som Chili Pepper Poppers and sold them and got banned. First 72. Then perma. Then I think they changed it back to 72 hours.
I know that karma weapons exploit was something obvious. But selling items back for gold… how should we have known this was not allowed? Okay. The gold he made was a bit much. But I saw really earlier in the game at the beginning that rice which sells for 1 silver a 25 stack which costing only 49 karma. And I thought about converting 4900 karma into 1 gold like this. Glad I did not do it. Did not need that gold at that moment.
There should not have been bans for this. Game is still open beta and usually games are not sold and released in beta and advertised as if they were finished products.
With longer beta and not only a few weekends probably more people would have crafted and they would have know. At release you would expect that it is allowed so tell stuff back if this is possible in game. No way someone would think that they could have missed something that major while testing in beta. So it can’t be an exploit. Right?
And that game is new after all. So we don’t know what is supposed to be right or not.
I am not banned but I ask to remove all bans at people that got banned for this and that arena.net will apoligize to them for the lost time. It was their fault. Really.
Karma weapons was obvious with that low price when even cooking stuff is cheaper and in the beginner areas the weapons and armor at hearts cost a few hundreds. But selling stuff back… not obvious.
Then what about turrets? If I use the turret with my engineer to help in an event and move a bit away to do other things and still get reward in the event because turret is helping? Exploit now? I mean I still helped and made it easier for other players because the turret helped. Someone else could have went there only killed one mob and he got reward. What is allowed now. What not? How should we know? I mean if it is based on how much you help then the turret is still helping by doing damge. So it is okay. (But usually I don’t do this need the turrets at some other place where I am going then should I move somewhere else).
I got 100 at augutst and my 20 coins. It reset correctly and I will have the next 20 coins soon and september finished. And if someone is trying to remove that 20 coins from me then I’ll stop playing the game.
I know some people won’t be able to 40 coins now and can only have 20 from one achievement. But give them something else instead of removing the well and without cheating earned stuff from other players. (Just give them 20 coins additional that everyone got 40).
Edit: In fact I think people who did their achievement correctly in august should have more coins. It was a lot of work to to that in such a short time. Reward is deserved. And don’t complain about only 3 days. You have to count the headstart too – additional reward to have more time to complete that achievement. That is okay. We prepurchased. We should get this.
Maybe 10 more coins for the others that did not complete it august(30 coins for august + september). Other that completed august by the end of 31th should get 40.

I agree about the auto attack, except that you said for the grenade kit, which is the one kit it couldn’t work on, since it is ground targeted, unless they also added some option to automatically aim ground targeted skills at your current target.
I think underwater is nothing ground targeted. Check for example the supply crate. It is spawning at your current location. Not possible because underwater there is no real “gound”. It is not 2 directions it is 3. You would need to aim the height too while ground targeting in water but that would be harder to implement in the game I think.
Always throwing the grenades at the selected enemy with auto attack underwater enabled. And with grenades having a small aoe it is really nice with a lot of enemies at one spot. Someone recommended this to me and said grenades were really op underwater. I tried and liked them. Usually never used them before until then. And only underwater now.
As noted by Cryhs.7964, I’ve also encountered the “Deployable Turrets” (trait 5 in tools) bug. I experienced that it only affects turret skills you unlock after you take the trait. So only my rocket and healing turrets are affected much like Cryhs. Since all skills are unlock from the get go in sPvP, it works with all turrets.
I decided really late to get these trait when I already had unlocked the Rifel, Rocket, Flame and Thumper Turret. Only Rocket worked. But I heard a lot in other forums about the Healing working too and everything in sPvP working. It is just the skills that are bugged. I think internally they are totally different skills and it just switches the skill to some similar skill that makes the turret deployable. But they forgot this with some of the turrets.
Also underwater the Rocket Turret is not detonatable. Rifle Turret working fine. A bit annoying if you have to pick it up if you forgot it and are a bit away. I think it works if you get out of the water. Not tested other turrets besides Rocket and Rifle.
Kits and Guns and stuff: They should make the attacke at slot 1 auto attack automaticalliy. Have to change it to auto every time I use the grenades.
And the F key to pick up and to search for loot… agreed. Needs 2 different keys. Annoying in big defense events where lots of mobs incoming and you need the turrets but also want to pick up the loot fast enough.
