I am at 164/165 now too. Was at 161 and found 3 more. 2 which I could tell from looking at the map. 1 at the border of the map by comparing it to other maps that had locations in them.

Still missing one now. Don’t know about the golemacigal research institute since I already had that. Would have checked it. Are you sure you did not uncover it with another char already?

Still need some regions and I think I found a spot that I might have missed and trying to get there. But not sure.

This is Sparkfly Fen. And in the northwest corner something seems like there could be area to discover.

There it seems discovered but it seems not like the map from ingame. Seems like he did use some graphics progam to change the style a bit. Don’t know if the one that made the map uncoverd and edited it by himself to make northwest corner look uncovered. Or can this really be discovered ingame?

http://gw2cartographers.com/ has a bit more trees visible there. Anyone knows how to get there? Jumping puzzle? To me it seems like there is an area to discover.

Edit: Or not… after looking closely again. Seems the gw2cartographers version is the same as mine. Must be really the edited version of english wiki that was confusing my. Then I need to look at other parts of this map or mount maelstrom. Still missing 3 areas until everything in the world discovered.

Teleportation Gun

How exactly did it work. Where do you even get this gun? I only heard of the mesmers being able to make portals with one of their skills and I’m not on a top WvW server where all the people are pro and know all the possible exploits.

So where had this gun been sold. Was this like an environmantel weapon somewhere in the WvW zone or buyable at some vendor outside as one of these consumables that give you an environmental weapon / bundle?

I think it is good that it has been fixed. Seems not like something that belongs there. Mesmer hiding and then portal into keep will probably be next then.

What they could make: Remove the rewards for attacking Dolyaks too. I think they are still in game right? At least I remember getting an event there and getting money there. Would be balanced then in terms of defenging / attacking getting the same rewards.

And of course:

The reward for escorting the dolyaks is that you get much-needed supplies.

Wow. Did not check back at that Whispers armor and other stuff. I know from the beginning when it was cheap. Really 4 gold now? Unfair to others that buy it later if some people already bought it early and cheap.

I think the main reason for all this is: They want us to buy gems for real money in the gem store.

Everytime some players find something where you can grind ingame money efficiently and a lot of players start doing it they will change something if it is too fast in their opinion. Unfortunately they can’t ban everytime. We all know about the cooking stuff bought for karma and sold for ingame gold.

Nobody could have known this was not intended(when already people are telling me mesmer portal exploit to get into keep in WvW is intended… clearly everyone is trying to get the most ouf of the game as long as it is not obviously like a 21 karma weapon exploit).

Okay. People whined. No more bans. But still changes. But I know they would like to ban that people too ingelligent and making enough money from the game and not needing to buy gems. ;-)

We all know it:: Company not making enough money at the moment.

Solution: Either pay to play with subscription.

Free to play with pay to win and cash shop and horrible grind where you are forced to buy gems or grind tons of hours (imho boring and I would quit would prefer first option if they really needed money but would need major bugfixes and more and better sPvP and WvW first).

Or 3rd solution: Game needs to be shut down and moving on to more profitable projects. Sad but that’s how it is like. You only need to look at their action and interpret the correctly. Every sane person should know that it is like this now. Not enough money and they are nearly bankrupt. Even announcing Mac Client now to get people that can afford Mac and have a lot of money to buy Guild Wars and hoping for them to buy lots of gems.

I think 5 copper per point? 3 silver and 50 copper for full level 80 char with 70 trait points spent. Wiki mentioned something much higher. Don’t know if this was higher in beta and they have not updated the wiki by the time I checked. Have not checked again since.

What I fear: You could retrain yout traits and then they some patch could come and set the cost higher. I hope if they plan on changing the cost for this they’ll announce it early before doing so.

Wow. Didn’t expect such a thread. Is this trolling? Your are leveling 2 of the easier professions and telling us you don’t want to mine and want it made easier for you when all the others had to mine?

Seriously. Be happy that you are able to mine… Leatherworkers and Tailors have it much harder because they need to rely on random drops and the stuff there is more expensive. If you are at 80 you get in a low level zone a mix of 70-80 level items and items on the low level as drop. Even harder to farm salvageable stuff and the salvage only items are random and the bags are containing more and more cooking stuff since they changed it.

Does such a thing exist? I know about wiki and some databases where you can check the stats of some items… even items no one has crafted yet that the people somehow seem to have extracted from the game files.

But what about a database for skins or some website where you can view them all at one page and compare? Would be nice if you managed to get good gear and now want to look for some good skin but not manually check every stuff and preview it ingame.

Does anyone succesfully use turrets in sPVP/tPVP?

Tried them 1-2 times in sPvP and then stopped since everyone recommended some other stuff. Now trying full elixir and crit with rifle and rifle skill cd reducing traits… don’t like to switch between kits and rifle all the time and want to go full rifle and elixirs only.

In PvE and WvW I liked the turets so far which is fine for me. Don’t need to change the build a lot then which would cost me money there.

Seems pretty high. I’m sure not everyone is going for high crit only since you lose other benefits because you can’t max all the stats at the same time.

Yeah. Bit annoying that they fix other classes and are not fixing something for engineer when we have a really long bug list and the other stuff they fixed for other classes did not seem that major.

Hopefully the next patch will include 3-4 fixes for engineer and none for other classes since they already are fixed enough.

I played engineer with turrets. I know a lot of people don’t like them. Never had a problem until Orr. Much harder to play there. But I think it is okay since it is the high level zone where your story leads you and should be not that easy. First time I used the elixir gun was there in Orr. Liked the additional heal skills that come with it. And now don’t have that much trouble anymore. You need to get used to it. There are high level resource nodes which are rare and should not be easy to reach. Annoying mobs are needed.

Events are fine. I mean… why are even people doing stuff like Shatterer and the Jormag dragon in the other 70-80 Shiverpeaks area? That events are boring! Here we have real event chaints like in the firts Orr zone where you have to support the attacks then escort people to rally point then go with them to attack Balthazar… and fail there with 50 people(at least all the few times I have been there lol but is fun, not just some stupid dragon spawning every few hours… these are the best events in the game!)

Not that many skill points are bugged. Or it depends on the server or luck. I only had one which could be unbugged by guardian. So far Iron Marches was the zone with most bugs for me(Ascalon/ Charr zone). 2 bugged skill points, 50 percent of the events buggy and even making hearts harder to complete. Orr was fine. It’s just different.

And why complain about commune? You said it already: The mobs are annoying and there are a lot of them. You need to kill them first or get past them. Commune is not that easy if they can interrupt and/ or kill you all the time.

Also the loot seems random. Everywhere. Not only in Orr.

Player Transfer vs WvW Possible Solution.

Free transfer to do bugged PvE stuff on other servers. This is needed. There are skill challenges bugged for more than 3 days and they can’t expect us to wait when others already have world completed. So I think free transfer should stay until everything is working fine or at least major stuff is fixed and the team got enough time to fix stuff like skill challenges within 24 hours.

WvW… I don’t know. I see the problem with server changes. But why not making the home server affect WvW only? Then we could restrict it and make it already cost money. But PvE could be free to choose where to play – I know there will be a guest system in the future. But why not make this completely free? Only problem I see is with farming at nodes of rare ore and trees and stuff and other things like this and changing the servers. Don’t know if it is possible to record this info in a different way that no one can do this and recorded per account or char if you gathered some node already.

Other than the suggestion of in the first post of this thread seems like the easiest way to fix some problem that come with the free server transfers.

I can confirm Kryta, Orr and Shiverpeaks. Totally possible since I got the 172 in Shiverpeaks. Don’t know about Maaguuma. Seems I’m missing a lot there but heard it is possible to that amount they changed it by reading some threads from people that reached this amount. Need to check my maps again.

I hope the achievement points are awarded correctly for people that achieved everything before they tuned down the numbers.

I think it should depend on the enemies attacking. Like the castles know if they are attacked and showing the swords around the keep icon at map the Dolyak should recognize if they are attacked. Then and only then the defender should get rewards. He should have to do some damage to the attackers and the Dolyak should have to arrive save. Damage only to ensure not people are running there the last second to get some reward. Kills not necessary. Would be possible then for the attackers just to run away and try to lure the defender away if he needed the kill.

It would not be possible to exploit it anymore then. And no useless reward for escorting when no enemy all the time. You would need to time and try to read enemy movement and escort when necessary.

Only problem would be if someone was running there giving one hit to an enemy… but honestly: We already have this in PvE and it totally is okay to farm events there like that. Not a problem.

I think it is not that wrong. In Germany I think we use Frau or Mann(Mrs. or Mr.) + the military rank while the rank title itself does not have female variations(technically this would be possible cause we often just add an -in at the end for female versions).

Probably something similar with “Sir”.

Don’t die. Range as much as you can and let the guardians and other melee classes die. If you take damage run away. That way I made a bit of money while running with the zerg and getting gold medal in events.

Of course the guardians and other melee classes can just start another class too if they want. No problem with the repair cost. It is working as intended and making you play the game more efficient instead of dying thousand times.

And pro tip: Buy gems with real money and trade them for ingame gold. That way Arena.Net will make more money. I think they will like it. Maybe even higher repair costs? Why not? Or farm some stuff PvE.

It never said that it was intended to be used this way. And you can’t just say “it is possible to use it like this” = “it is intended to be used this way”. This is wrong. We saw it with the guys buying stuff for karma and selling it for gold.

I already explained how the devs probably made a mistake and forgot about mesmers. And since the game really feels beta now this seems a better explanation like just your

“hey its allowed so it must be intended to use it that way”.

They probably only have not fixed it yet and are still discussing. Takes ages even to fix minor bugs… it seems. We all see it at the minor stuff like skill challgenges not being fixed for days in PvE when it only requires probably 5 minutes to fix the stuff.

It is NOT intended to use the skill that way. And infinite gold never was possible. ;-) Was limited by the amount of karma you made and you still had to play the game for it. Not like hacking the server and chancing some numbers to generate something out of nothing.

Badges need to be awarded for more than just kills.

When do you get badges. I have like done the monthly achievement 2 times and stayed a bit longer to have some fun. At least 100 kills. But 6 badges I think… but then again I think I forgot to pick up the loot sometimes.

Is there some min requirement at damage you need to do? I read about people doing AoE not getting badges while doing a lot of damage at 1 enemy is getting badges? Why then awarding kills. Should be kill = chance at loot. At some percentage of damage you did.

Which percentage do you get the kill? Hard to see that stuff in all the zergs. Or is it like PvE that you only need to to 1 damage(just hit the enemy with something)… then probably it would be a problem to award badges there already.

And I agree: Badges for other stuff should be possible too. Warhammer Online after a siege a chest spawned at the keep lord and you got bags with loot and I think some PvP currency too. Can’t remember it exactly. They should make it here like this. But harder than the usual event. Maybe only if you get at least gold in the event… still not that hard. Zerging down the champ keep lord also seems really fast to me. So players defending the keep always need to count too.

Why should you be forced to sweep for mesmers? I mean the other stuff already is done automatically. Does it not repair the walls automatically or replace the keep lord with your own lord? Maybe this should be changed too then. Clean up and rebuild everything by yourself and buy your keeplord for a few gold first.

It’s clearly an exploit because the developers did not want the portal to be used that way. Or is there a description that says “can be used to bypass walls in WvW”. I don’t think so. They just did not think of a single person being able to to that much harm because 1 person hiding probably can’t kill the keep lord. That’s why they just ignored the possibility of someone hiding there.

And forgot about the mesmer and that some people might exploit this. Happens often. This game is still at the beginning and they have a lot work to do. Other areas showed it where a lot of bugs happend. So why not here. Do you really think they thought of this while developing and including this skill? Please don’t be silly. Then they should not have banned people producing chilli peppers with karma stuff… because if mesmers are allowed to port in a keep then this should have been allowed too.

I don’t think it is a problem. Don’t we all have the buff that makes us invulnerable there? He only could tell if people are grouping up there or something and regrouping to attack. But someone hiding outside could do just the same. Don’t see an unfair advantage here. Just kill him – if he is getting invulnerable buff too then of course it needs to be fixed. He is the enemy. Only you should be protected. (But as far as I can see no such a buff displayed for him). And if he can’t damage you back… his problem for getting there.

3. – Is okay. They are defending. If it should start to be a problem too much and really possible to place the siege in a way it can’t be attacked from outside then they should fix it a bit. Maybe fixed locations for sieges in keeps.

4. Seems broken game mechanics to me. Sieges or people operating sieges should not be affected by that. But as long as it is ingame it should be allowed. Some people could be fighting against each other and someone could use that retaliation while others shoot with siege in a zerg of both teams fighting. What now? He surely did not want to use it against the siege but siege was affected? Can’t ban now. So better let it allowed until it is really fixed.

2. Is an exploit. At least 7-14 days ban. If more than 1 time permaban. And they should fix it. They made it that people still can stay in the keep after it gets captured and hide… just because the keep lord will be there and it probably will be hard for 1 person to kill him and/ or more than 1 person to hide and then group up and kill him.

Clearly it was not intended for mesmers to bypass walls with portals. If they wanted to bypass wall they would have given a thief such an ability since he is a thief… and thieves to stuff like that. They did not think it through. Otherwise they would maybe have made something like autoporting everyone of enemy teams out after keep getting captured.

Edit: And AOE through doors is a bit annoying too. You can get killed while repairing. This should not be possible. Should be very easy to repair – as long as you have the supplies… and if they just keep the siege up eventually they will break the doors.

Also the AOE from down to the defenders at the wall is annoying but not an exploit. Still something that could be changed a bit or allow some people to by a wall above their head or something for supplies that only can be deytroyed by siege from the attackers. Would be fun.

Sounds totally okay for me. I mean they payded for the siege. There was room to place the siege. And don’t the siege need supply too? You could just wait until until night until they are all sleeping lol. Then attack everything and they wasted all their money.

At least not that much of an exploit like the mesmes making portals into a keep which walls are not destroyed yet.

They are already giving xp and karma in WvW. So why not let the weapon skills unlock? I see no problem there. Only that more new players that just started to play a class go into WvW without even having unlocked skill slots and other stuff. But that problem we already have – they have designed it to be played at level 1 by scaling everyone up to 80.

People automatically go to the server that is winning because most of the people like to easily win instead of having fun(they think it is fun to go there and watch how others already captured everything and then doing the jumping puzzles maybe lol).

You can’t exploit with Portal. If you had a keep ninja’d from you it is because the mesmer was hiding in the keep and wasn’t found. Developers came up with this idea themselves in one of their videos.

Then they should fix it by porting all enemies out if a keep is taken. Should not be possible to hide. Does it at least show immediately the swords at the map around the keep if some enemy is still there? Should be possible to know. If not they should make it like this.

Because this is something usually a thief class should do. And if not even the thief from outside can get in and open the doors and let others in then a mesmer should not be able to do this. If they want it to stay like this then at least the thieves should be able to bypass doors all the times.

Well, I don’t know about the other stuff outside where there are no walls. But getting into a keep should not be possible. I know Warhammer Online there had been some skills. But here it is not possible in normal ways. And everyone trying to bypass the walls with some glitches and then abusing skills to port other users there… I think 7-14 days ban should be possible without a warning(remember they already banned for less). Report if you see somone abusing like this.

Don’t know about the jumping puzzle. If you are supposed to do the puzzle to get somewhere then it is exploting too.

Why do they even need that skill? I checked wiki and it seems it is only a few seconds duration? Seems pretty useless to me other than trying to exploit something with it.

I think the skill should be removed completely. Give them something else instead.

100% world completion bug?

I have my world completion at 100 percent now. Received the reward: 2 gifts of exploration – when I clicked at the world completion icon left of the chest. The chest was there too and giving the map completion reward. Opened this after the world completion chest. Received the usual rewards.

Been there done that achievement showing 97 percent. When I add all the “explorator” areas and divide them by the total possible I get something about 96.0000×. Maybe rounding up all the time only not at 100 where you need everything and will stay at 99 until you got everything?

Strange thing: The map completion medal at the login screen is showing 97 percent like that achievement and probably needs the areas to be discovered. I think doing all the hearts and stuff is much more work and at the worldmap ingame it is showing the same medal as in the login screen right of the “world completion” progress bar. Should be awarded at world completion 100 percent and take this value.

What I don’t understand is the char info at the login screen. There it showas:
Name
Level Race Class
98 Map complete

This should be either 100(taken from world completion) or 97 – taken from the explorer stuff and the been there done that achievement. I would prefer the medal = world completion and that stuff in the char info taking the values from the been there done that achievement.

It is these areas. But the achievement is account wide. It won’t count an area more than 1 time. For example you found something with your 2nd char you did not find with your first char then it will increase the count by 1. If you go there with your first char it won’t increas it by 1.

But: It will increase with hearts and skill challenges. I think you need 1000 of both for the highest tier. Possible to make 5 chars and do 200 skill challanges on each char and letting it increase the count. (for “skillful” achievement).

I used mithril and already was wondering why there always were carrots in a 50-60 zone. Should be low level zone only. Probably would be the best if they gave every thing a fixed node. Like carrots = carrots. And remove all the roots and herbs stuff. Mithril and Orichalcum and stuff you have not “some strange metal”. It always says what you are gathering.

Group event near Crystalwept Groves in Iron Marches. Not possible to finish it and while it is running the karma merchant at the nearby heart is not offering his goods. Reminds you of the attacking army and tells you to stop it first.

Problem: According to the event description you need to kill his army first. Tried this and he had a few guys walking around him. Then the counter stopped at 7. Still 7 remaining to kill first. A lot of other branded enemies in the region but none seems to belong to the champion guy for the event and all the other walking with him are dead.

If you try to kill him now he always will regen health at empty health bar(1 hp). Not possible to kill him. Server Underworld. But could happen at other servers too since these kind of bugs tend to happen more than once and more often.

I think maybe the guards should be more or stronger. And even attack outside or far away people sieging the wall…. this should increase only if one server is holding more stuff than other servers and if the other servers get outmanned buff(meaning that server got more people online and is already holding more stuff).

Not if they only have 1 tower for example. Then they have the chance to fight a bit back if others are not online. Not if they are holding almost everything and the others have enough people online… if the people are not defending it is their problem.

And of course it still has to be possible to take everything even if others have not enough people online. But it has to be much harder.

At the moment it is pretty imbalanced. Taking everything without someone defending and only the few guards as they are now is imbalanced. You can’t force everyone to stay awake at night only because other servers have more people that don’t need much sleep or don’t need to work next morning for some reason.

Maybe the points could decrease too? One other servers outmanned = only 50 percent of the points are contributed to ranking. Then the others with more people still have it easier because of lots of people but can’t get ahead that fast.

I think the real goal is to reach max level to craft the exotics. And that mainly because you can choose which set of stats you want. That’s the main benefit of crafting from what I’ve heard from the others. Then farming dungeons only for skin since you won’t need any other armor than the crafted one.

Leatherworker at 266 at the moment but still going for world completion and didn’t find it that hard to get there. With a bit buyin on trading post… should not be that hard to get to 400. Only thing is that that the lower stuff you can produce is pretty useless if you already leveld to 80… but maybe for a 2nd character. I don’t think it is less fun than in other games because 95 percent of the other games I played have the same problems.

They were a few ones with really nice crafting but they are rare. Were pretty much PvE only games and they failed because PvE only and bad marketing and support(Vanguard – Sage of Heroes for example I liked the crafting… they are trying to fail with a crappy F2P model at the moment).

Yeah. Pretty much the MMORPG with the fastest leveling. As the others already said: Do the events. Highest possible events where you can get rewards. Maybe 1 or 2 level higher than you. The meta event chaints usually are very good to farm events if you can find one with a lots of events in an event chain that start really often.

It is the first MMORPG I reached max level because it is that fast lol. If you ever want to try any other MMORPG be warned: It will take ages even to get to level 33. Guild Wars 2 = 1 Level in 1 hour… at the highest level if you farm efficiently, I think.

Annoying Sound Bug

Few days ago I experienced it the first time in PvE: At Frostgorge Sound. So far only in WvW. Since then not again(but been in other maps only since then). Seems random somehow.

I tried to make my own list because I want to level other crafting stuff later and then having it easier to find recipes. But probably not that complete. Need to check everything again later. Still need to finish 2 remaining maps to world completion.

And: If you really want everything you need to check all the vendors even the ones selling stuff for money(which is not that easy there could even be vendors you don’t know about if they are disabled during some event or death and only showing death ally icon and you don’t check and revive to see if it is merchant).

I found already a few that sell for money(gold, silver, copper) some recipes but really did not check everyone. Not that much useful stuff at high level. But maybe people just want every recipe possible… need to check everything.

Pretty annoying. Server Underworld an only need 2 maps to complete to world completion. One of these is the Iron Marches. Noticed this events. Some displaced spirits that do nothing after you talk to them(one stuck in the air in some tree). And no other mobs spawning which you need to finish the heart. Was lucky some time it somehow worked when I ran there by chance and saw someone escorting a spirit back to his body. But tried with others… again nothing.

Also some devourer queen you should feed(some other heart quest)… only found 1 queen nearby which seemd dead and not possible to do anything.

Then with some stupid dogs some other heart quest. Really bugged that map.

100% world completion bug?

I was Kryta 171/178 becaues I was human and explored it very early when I was still early in my personal story. After going to that island near Lion’s Arch that you visit during your story(and only visitable during story) I suddenly was at 175/178.

Also I have the same values as Aeridus for Kryta, Orr and Shiverpeak. Still not finished with Ascalon. In Maguuma seems I’m missing something. Only at 161. Are there a lot of areas discovered by jumping puzzles only at Maguuma? Because did not do jumping puzzles and still need to to a lot of them there.

And regarding the rewards: Maybe if Raap said at high level areas they did not get the reward for the map but got more rewards for world completion and if completed in chantry of secrets getting only the gifts (with chantry of secrets having a empty reward for map completion? never noticed this) the maybe it gives you both at the world completion? The 2 gifts and the 2 items you get from the map you completed last(but not the 3rd and 4th item you usually get… that 20 or 40 of one crafting material and transmu stones or a black lions key).

Because you have to enter Eternal BG AND have a keep to get there?
Because there are SIEGE WEAPONS to be gotten free from there?
Because there are enemies inside it?

Go figure. WvW isnt all about points to your server. I get most of my siege weapons from jumping puzzles (fe. got 2 x alphas, 3 x trebuchet´s waiting atm), so dont tell me it aint WvW.

It is about points. Otherwise they would not have implemented that points system. You can buy the siege weapons. You should not farm them there. If players really want it like this they can make another way to get them easy. Just not a puzzle with achievement. It is not WvW. They should just remove it. Mabe all the vistas and point of interest too. I think you only like it because you want to farm your sieges there without having to pay gold at the vendor.

Another solution that comes to my mind: Make 1 entrance to the puzzles. Wall around it. And let the players capture that point like the keeps and other stuff. Only players holding that point can access the area. Will give enough time to do the puzzle. Then it really will be included in WvW – capturing point also could contribute to the ranking.

And could it not be fun to just go with a lot of own people there and remove the enemies instead of trying the puzzle? Wont’ they be surprised if they are attacked by a large zerg suddenly. But I never heard people talking about it in chat. They only attack about raiding in circles to generat the most events by attacking losing and attacking ita gain to get lots of karma and exp and silver. Lol.

Simple solutions are usually the most poorly thought out ones.

I’m not sure you’re aware of this, but jump puzzle pvp is WvW.

How is this WvW. Explain? I did not know that it was giving points to your server. Still new and have not played WvW that much. I always thought the points only come from the camps, towers, keeps(including stonemist) you are holding? Then everyone can just camp the jumping puzzle and kill enemies and still win in ranking? That’s news to me.

I did one and checked already. The jumping puzzle itself does not count as discovery of a new area. But some could itself be located in a well hidden area you never visited before. But I think I did almost all in Kryta(according to wiki). Less then 3 left to do and still missing 3 areas to disvover. If it is not a really big jumping puzzle covering more than 3 areas… and I think I already have been a bit into the other jumping puzzles but killed there. So should have discovered there a bit already(if not a disvovery of new area is at the very end of the puzzle).

I think I have a simple solution: Remove that jumping puzzle. There are a lot of other jumping puzzles which should be enough. And I can agree with having to play WvW to get a legendary because it can be used in both PvE and WvW and should take you to play everything of the game not only PvE. And this requires badges and World Completion.

The WvW you can easily do by running with the zerg and trying to get some kills if you are lucky and not forget about the drop. And checking the pois and vistas while you are holding the stuff… if not possible to cap wait until you start at another area of the map next match(now you have to wait weeks not days but still possible).

But I can’t see why they would put a jumping puzzle there. Never tried it so far… still going for world completion only at the moment and don’t care that much about the puzzles. But it is only for the achievement right? I heard about being siege blueprints in that chest but they could be awarded in some other way maybe as rare drops from killing players or making some siege engineer neutral base with uber strong npcs enginer mobs that could have a rare drop chance.

So far probably most of the people want to do that puzzle only 1 time for achievement right? And this probably is taking away people from both groups – the ones that want to do it and the others that want to grief. Of all servers people in WvW doing something else than WvW.

I think everything else is fine. The few resource nodes. The bit of pois and vistas… but that puzzle seems to be a problem from what I have heard hear. You could wast hours there doing nothing that helps your WvW ranking. I don’t think this was intended?

So remove it. Or place it somewhere else or make it instanced. People should do more WvW.
