I am a phantasm user and so here’s my initial thought on this:
1) This might be too powerful for my taste. Sword 2 is around a 10 second cooldown, which means you’re asking that phantasms have invulnerability for every 10 seconds.
2) We already have that (in a weird sense). It’s already called Illusionary Inspiration, but that requires a phantasm summoning. This trait will come out when the specialization trait system is implemented in the system. Basically, when we summon a phantasm, we automatically cast Signet of Inspiration, spreading around the boons to nearby allies. Note that living party members will be a first priority before pets (this includes illusions and phantasms).
3) Ehh… I’m not worried about the Guardian shield skills.
Thanks for the reply and clarification! I don’t think this would be too overpowered in pve because you would only need to use it when you evade which would also cause your clones to evade as well, provided you actually timed the dodge correctly. In pvp or wvw spamming sword 2 means you can’t move too well therefore you wouldn’t be too much of a threat. Maybe the devs can play around a bit and see and implement something similar
I was thinking a cool addition to sword traits maybe as a grandmaster would be whenever you use blur, the effects apply to phantasms. Additionally it would be cool if mesmers had a similar trait as rangers where phantasms gain the boons we have, I’m not sure how this works though because I think they are already affected by might. Lastly, off-topic, I think A-Net should also make guard shield better with upcoming traits maybe with agesis or something else to make it used more!
Maybe for the time being they could give us the 25% movement speed whenever under the effects of ageis, but I have a feeling that the trait might have something to do with a shield like someone said.
Why do people want necro to heal consistently in death shroud. From me PvP perspective that would be really op. I’m just curious cause I enjoy playing necro in PvP, PVE & WvW.
Why in the world would turrets need a nerf?
Perhaps because I can afk and watch a movie while playing turret engi :S, not to mention the fact that the turrets are immune to conditions and can self-heal. But that’s not the topic of this thread, anet can nerf or keep them the same Idc.
Just some wishful thinking but it would be nice to get a feature pack related to fixing some of the issues faced by the AI/pet skills in this game. There are many threads detailing the issues about spirits and pets on ranger, phantasms on mesmer, spirit weapons on guardian and necro minions (can’t believe I forgot that one). The only AI class that doesn’t suffer from these issues is probably engi. Albeit a small nerf to turrets would be nice

Why don’t they just make spirits an aura that surrounds the ranger like rampage as one. It would have a different colour for each spirit and still give the benefits to the group. It could also have the same cds as well.
I feel your pain lol. They should at least open up queue for people to join mid match if they want. Also not sure if we’re allowed to post other players’ names.
No idea what happened, but hope the re-order will fix any existing issues.
I’ve noticed a in bug chapter 5 of the personal story. This is unique to the quaggan evacuation story step. Some mobs are staying above water and preventing the player from advancing. To fix this I had to get out of the water and kill them on the ice. The two mobs I saw were an icebrood norn and fish. Secondly I’ve noticed that whenever I load into the pvp lobby my character won’t be able to move for 20-30 seconds. When the character does move it will be in a different place.
Happening to me as well. This needs to be fixed asap. I just got all my characters to 80 yesterday….
Many times in pve content I find my mesmer’s phantasms dieing too quickly. What if there was something like a grandmaster trait, which would allow summoned phantasms to match the bosses health. It could be tweaked so it wouldn’t be overpowered. Also maybe it only activates for certain tier mobs e.g. elites or champions. Or the phantasm could have 25% of the attacking mob’s health provided that it’s higher than the illusion’s base health.

Trait/build templates have been long requested and even discussed with Devs. High chances are that this feature is on the way, probably as a part of Specialisations.
If it does happen I hope they do it with the base game too and not just the HoT x-pac.
There was a way to bind traits to you current weapon set. For example if I use a staff with the traits 6/0/6/2/0 I want the game to recognize this whenever I use a staff. Or if I use a sword/shield with 4/4/0/0/4, the game should recognize this and switch to this trait set whenever I equip that weapon combo. I know you can switch them manually but I’m just lazy lol. Also sorry if was already a topic.
