If you are bad (die serveral times for no reason, have a bad build that clearly lack DPS or have no kitten idea what you are doing) or you afk in the middle of the a donjon, well yes, i’m gonna kick you.

That applied to GW1 as well to many games where you need to group in order to achieve something.

When I looked at the Gemstore today, I thought that Anet were making us a late april’s fool… Guess what? It’s not! This is the worst useless pack I’ve seen. Please, either take this off immediately from the gemstore or change it (the price or the items) before people get riped off. This is truly, truly, truly outrageous.

If the members of Destiny’s Edge make an appearance what has lines in cutscene, will we have every original voice actor?

Ah… my OP isn’t clear on this point, but I’m not talking about buying materials just to craft rares.

Even if you have the materials, I’m pretty sure you can make more cash by selling your crafting materials then buying rare weapon instead of crafting them directly.

I’ve been wondering recently what that word was suppose to be?

Please, don’t give me this “1%” argument. I’m pretty sure we can make harder content which is OPTIONNAL whitout being accessible to only the top tier extra skilled player. If I remember correctly, GW1 had pretty difficult content that demanded for coordination, knowing what is going on and preparation. Aka Hard Mode. There was achievements for doing so. No, not everybody was able to do it, but most succeeded and loved it, even if it was a pain in the kitten sometimes.

I’m guessing that they will not be the focus of the whole story (although I won’t mind), but at least I hope it will be more then just cameos, maybe like mixing DE and DE2 characters have them be the center of different small section of the story. It looks like that will be way to go in the next episode.

So my feeling about DE after knowing some of them will be part of the Episode 3 of the LS2, is we may not have them back together full time, but rather have them work together/alone in the story once in a while. What do you think of that?

Player housing would be lame. If you want to have everything close (bank, crafting station, etc.) then buy the royal pass when it’s up in the gem shop.

What we need is a guild hall to hang together and prepare our group.

So why not make it that you can’t load a template in those game mode? Still, if you are quick, you CAN currently change your skill / trait on the run in WvW… I don’t know about PvP as I don’t play it.

That logic make no sense. Template save/load IS A MUST for those who change frenquently builds in PvE (Dungeons, Fractals, farm,…).

Well, if you step back in GW1, the first heroes (Menhlo, Cynn, Devo & co.) were part of every story in the game (some time more directly in the story, otherwise you could take them with you on your journey). So I don’t see why DE should stop after defeating Zhaitan? They even did it after they tried to stop Kalkatorik and failed.

One thing that bothers me if that we put so much effort into regrouping them via the story of the dungeon just to see them disband again at the end of Arah… I mean, come on, you could put more effort into your characters, no?

What I would like, is to be able to save your skill/talent template GW1 style. So when I want to be a supporty guardian open a tab, click your saved template, load it… AND BAM. How hard could this be to implement this feature.

I would love it! I hope they had plan for that after the feature pack.

@Xiahou Mao : That’s good to know, but as I said in my first post, I didn’t experience LS1 (except the ending). Even so, you could agree that DE are not the focus of the story for the last 2 LS (so far in this one they don’t look to have some kind of role at all).

So did Anet gave official statement about the role of DE in the future or if there is speculation running around?

Seriously, every member of my guild farm with guardian in Orr, just a lot of AoE to tag mob and mobility.

I know that DE have some lot of responsabilities ingame (rytlock as you mentionned or Logan guarding his precious queen), but if Anet really wanted to continue with them, they would have manage to find something. We even saw them regroup at the end of Arah, so it’s not a lost cause imo. As RedStar said, I would hope to see them again in another story.

I never thought of that, but I agree with RedStar that it would be a poor reason for that, when you could just change voice actor, I wouldn’t have mind that much personally. There is a lot of movies with sequel that had a change of actors at some point, so I would rather not accept that argument, especially if it’s only voice actor.

Hi, I’ve been playing GW since Prophecies and I’ve barely stop since, apart few brakes. I’ve always love the universe of Tyria with the story, the world and it’s character. Few months ago I came back from a long brake of GW2, so I’ve barely experienced LS1 (only the end). I’ve been wondering since why Anet have decided leave Destiny’s Edge away from the new story for the profit of a new crew (aka DE 2.0).

I didn’t read the book (but am planing to do soon), so I don’t know in details their background, but what I learned from them in game, I thought that was a good design of a team (maybe you can prove me wrong).

To me, doing so is like not having the first heroes of Prophesies (Menhlo, Cynn, Devona and co.) continue through all the new areas.

So I’m wondering why Anet did this. Were they not happy with the character they created the first time? Did they need something “fresh” for the fans? Do they want to keep DE on standby for another story, like when we will raid Kalkatorik? What are the basics reasons behind this choice?

Swish, your arguments are invalid, because in the new LS seems to be continuing in launching new areas every now and then, son we can consider it as an expansion, but coming slowly piece by piece.

I got around ~50 T6 today by farming mob events in Orr with 275% MF. I did this for 3-4 hours.

DDOS? We were almost done with this kitten legendary giant and I got kicked out of the game… I reloged on in another map, so no reward and i was laging like crazy. It’s like playing wit 5 sec latency ><

Hi, I looked up in guildwars2.com shop and I was disappointed to found… almost nothing… No cool poster (only 5 old ones that comes from the pre-launch of the game), no t-shirts (they link J!NX in the partner page, but no items related to gw2 in their site…), no hats, no cool useless stuff to display in my cars, at my house, on my desktop, on my keychain. That makes me a little sad.

I’m pretty sure a lot of us would be happy to get some items related to gw2!
