Don’t neglect Knight or Sentinel gear, sometimes it pays to be sturdy.
God, give it a day, Jesus. It’s Day 1 and everyone wants to see what Teq is all about.
I guess it’s time for a new debuff for groups greater than 25, and they won’t notice it until they get rolled by a group of 15. It will be called…The Inverse Law of Ninjas, and it will follow this formula;
y=m*0.999999999^-x
Where m is the normal value of your stats and x is the number of people surrounding you in a 2000-3000 unit area. It’s an exponential decay function that will make large groups of players exponentially weaker and unfeasible as the group grows larger. Do it A-Net, and I’m sure people will hold to the threshold.
Don’t forget about might and quickness, guys. Every bit of damage helps.
Tadia Covington has been ignored by just about anyone playing Bloodtide Coast because she’s rough, but I agree with the arbitrary timer given to all world bosses. There’s no real reason for the timer, and thanks to the scaling when more players are around, it just makes things longer.
These timers don’t make it easy, but I think 15 minutes is too short.
Any little bit of damage helps, but I think you would be better off with Quickness and Might. Hit him harder and faster.
I’m hoping that Mesmers are popping Time Warp for the melee gang, that 10 seconds of quickness makes a huge difference too.
EDIT: Guardians can help too! Use your Tome of Wrath and pop 3 and 4 to heal your allies, apply might and quickness.

Just stick with it, you guys. It’s the first twelve hours of this event and people are still learning the ins and outs of this event. I think it’s an unrealistic expectation to be able to ace the new content the first time you try it, or even repeated attempts. Maybe the people that remain after the ‘mass exodus’ of the impatient will we find success.
I’m sure people will start having more success when the frustrated filter on out and the more determined stick with it. It seems like people are getting better and better the more times they fight Teq, despite all the complaining going on.
Bumping this so it doesn’t disappear into obscurity. This seems feasible for protecting you against any Risen nasty that Teq spawns. Expect prices to jump.
