TBH I am happy with the way it works now. You will always have people that take advantage of any system that Anet puts out. The same with ever other online game I have ever played. People will find loop holes and take advantage of them.

That being said, I think keep the opinions coming! We have to give feedback of what we think and want in WvW.

I think it would just drive up the prices of gems even further. There are other Exp boosters you can buy on the gems store. I think those should suffice.

The celebration booster is just that! A celebration for you logging in for daily rewards. So putting it on the BLM would not make sense to me.

I mean it is a little annoying sure. But in reality if you just pay attention to your last reward or at least have a time frame in your head, it is easy to switch as it takes seconds to do.

I am all for them changing it to presets and what not. But prefer the real issues with WvW can be dealt with before something so small and insignificant.

Server Pride may come back eventually. But I have always had Guild Pride. And that is enough for me. We have plenty of other Guilds/Servers that target us. Which makes for great fights sometimes.

DBL is great. If you do not like it fine, do not go there. I have had some of the most epic fights ever on the DBL. I for one am glad they made it.

And the enemy commander should be the one the blame gets pinned on.

I tried to read all of this and just keep getting lost due to distractions(probably will not change anytime soon). Any chance you could just give the cliff notes? Or as Swagger asked condense it a bit?

I could be wrong here. But I think these Lords are designed to be harder/more annoying. The DBL is larger than the regular BL’s. Anet may have designed it so it takes longer to kill a Lord, in a attempt to give the defenders a proper chance to respond? I know for Air keep if your group stacks the Lord will stay on you for the most part as well, so tactics take part in this as well I would guess.

Badges and Heroics will most likely come in handy if they do release another expansion. I myself do not need more as I have plenty, but the rest of the stuff in those boxes are worthless to me so I will stock up on Heroics and Badges.

No. I think the system is fine. Yes something should be done about those who afk to collect rewards. Other than that I feel the system is more than fair.

I am using it with my DH. Along with a very similar build of course. But so far I like it. It makes for a great group build.

Can we all just go back to no linking? I hate being linked with kitten servers.

I dislike the thieves as of late. To their credit they have figured out how to burst me down when I am least expecting it. It is part of the game atm. Feels a bit OP as I have never had issues with thieves before. Usually I can 1-2 shot a thief. Now I can not track them that well. Usually I can eventually kill them, but by the time I have made the fight even enough, some mesmer or ranger comes from behind and ganks me. But it is how the game works atm so I am not mad, even though it is annoying AF lol.

Wait….I thought you were supposed to go to the Outnumbered map get killed a few times by enemy zerg and go AFK in spawn for pips? I guess I am doing it wrong by actually fighting my opponent and taking camps, towers, and keeps….

I pull people off of walls, out of the water and other such amazing things with my DH. However I have never seen or pulled anyone through a gate. Although that would be pretty funny lol.

I do not get why you complain of this being unfair? Did you put in time and effort in WvW when the one tournament that provided tickets was being run? Sounds to me like you want something for nothing.

You should have to work to gain these tickets. If it were easy everyone would have the back piece, armor, etc, etc… So stop your complaining! Sick of n00bs who think the world revolves around them!

1 or 2 Gold? That place (at least for me) takes a long time. Besides if you want a reward while waiting for your que go to EOTM and warm up so your actually ready and have the mindset for WvW….

I could agree with this. I would like something while I wait in the que. I personally do not care for EOTM but it is better than no WvW. So 1 per tick sounds legit. It will make it so people do not abuse it.

With the ques some people that want to WvW have to go to EOTM. So maybe like a system that gives you like 25% – 50% of what normally you would get in WvW. This would help while you are qued for a BL for regular WvW. Won’t be holding my breath on this idea, but would be nice.

In his or her defense….don’t use boosters if you know you are not going to be there for the whole time? Max is 2 hours for booster unless you stack them. Then I would say not stack. If you are say going to bed in 30 minutes…grab the 50% laurel one or go booster free. Just saying…. EDIT: Not counting B-day booster…not everyone enjoys using them.

People,people, people. This was the norm in the first year or two of the game. So first off relax. The ques will be gone in like a week or two. All the “new” people will most likely leave after they realize that it will be very difficult fro them to get the rewards they want. Until then que up and enjoy the free bags these “new” people are providing.

Condi is easy to fight against if you know how. Yes it is unbalanced but everyone that plays WvW should learn to adapt to this. If you do not like it, may I suggest you play another part of the game until it is more to your liking? As for me and many that I know we will continue to fight the good fight in WvW.

Meh most of these people will be gone soon enough. They won’t last for a few different reasons. Main two reason are that WvW is way harder than they thought, and also the rewards will be very difficult for them to get. The grind will be way to hard and long for many of them. So just wait a week or two and things will calm down.

I think the reward system is fine. Quit crying about it. These rewards are for loyal WvW players that play day in day out. If you do not like it you can go back to PvE,PvP, Raids, and such.

I rarely wvw, I’m jealous of those skins, but you know what? I’m happy for these dedicated wvw players who kept the game mode afloat finally getting some really cool stuff. I’ll probably never obtain this armor, but I’m totally okay with that.

I wish everyone could have the same attitude. I will never get the legendary armor as I do not raid. I am a tad jealous sure. But I am not mad at it. I am happy for those that can achieve it.

This is the one thing that aught to be changed. Maybe make it so you have to kill a Guard at the very least every 2-3 minutes or something. Typically I am always fighting or using siege in WvW so I am not one that AFK farms. But I can see where this has become a issue with ques.

But on the other hand it will not be a issue for long. Most players that do not run WvW on a daily basis will realize sooner than later that they can not obtain the back piece or ascended gear overnight. They will have to work very hard to obtain it. That being said about 50-75% of these people will quit after a week or two, and WvW will get back some normality again.

I love the changes. And for all of you whom do not I think so, well you have two options. Either play the game or do not. If you leave let me be the first to say BY FELICIA!! Do not let the doorknob hit ya where the good lord split ya!!

Malerian, like you, I often find that receiving such messages means I really got under the enemy’s skin and I did a pretty good job of it!

But I can definitely see Swagger’s point as well, and Swagger, I appreciate the post.

So, Anet, how about this – you add an OPTION in the Option menu to disable all enemy communication. This way we can choose if/when we get enemy whispers/emails and when we don’t. And we don’t have to go “invisible” and avoid getting friendly whispers.

It’s almost too simple a solution, right?

Not Chaos, that was Elijah Miller. I was working on the Snowblind and Swampland reworks as he built it.

If your looking from more from the Devs I would not hold my breath. From what I understand(maybe I am wrong) they will not talk about the future of WvW. Even if these forums were full of nice people who only complimented everything Anet said/did I highly doubt they would change their rules on this.

Well this would make it difficult for newbies to actually learn WvW. Part of learning is being killed time and again so you learn how not to die.

FA went against BG. They do not fight really. They just use their siege. Can’t see how that is fun at all…..

I mean to each their own. But I play WvW not for rewards in the first place, but I play for the fights. Unfortunately people are more interested in Gold/Karma and all that it seems.

But if you are only after gold and such then I guess killing up levels in EOTM is where it is at….
