After 2-3 hours of struggling you have finally beat Jade Maw for your daily. The whole time you have tried to tell your team what to do but they don’t listen and make things far harder than they should be (like continuing to shoot the door on dredge with the mining gun even though you tell them to stop repeatedly). One of your party died to the mobs while running to the maw and the other 3 died to the maw and you solo’d the last 30% of it’s HP.
You have total control over whether they get their chest.
Just wondering what other people would do in this situation.
So I read a thread on Reddit about special locations you can scan for trick or treat bags. I went to check them out but it seems all of the locations no longer give any bags. Is anyone else experiencing this? (The locations you can interact with show up but when I interact with them nothing happens)
Also I read that these can only be done every 4 hours or so and I tried one of them again but it did not spawn the interact locations this time so it’s registering that I did it just not giving anything.

I use 2 builds in sPvP that wreck
Scepter/Dagger epidemic conditions. The point is to throw out AOE conditions along with blood is power and any conditions I have from the plague signet and then lulz with epidemic. I usually manage to apply 15+ stacks of bleed on 3-6 people and it does a lot with carrion.
Axe/Focus DS/vunerability. Build mainly focuses on stacking vunerability and using DS a lot. Use vunerability wall and well (people don’t pay attention and they walk through the wall a bunch and get 25 stacks easy) Then just use DS whenever you feel fit. Also not lich form is INCREDIBLY BROKEN in a crit damage build. You can spam your 1 for 4k crits every second. Auto aimed and even if the target runs out of the way they still get damaged unless they evade.
Use a rifle….
With full berserker gear your volley will do like 12k Rifle but will do 6k and kill shot will do 16k. Plus you have that great range cripple.
Also all the people who say “greatsword is all 100b” don’t listen to them. For PvE maybe but in any PvP setting what you should do is rush to get close, whirlwind attack through them, throw your sword (you can do this fairly quickly because you don’t have to be facing the direction you throw if you have a target) then switch to your rifle and volley then cripple again.
Note this is for 1v1 and if there’s more than 1 you shouldn’t fight because 2v1 against as any class is stupid without some sort of advantage (like if you can bait them to a cliff then bullrush them behind you and rifle butt one off).
In a zerg with a lot of people you SHOULD run in and use 100b as there’s people all over and you will usually down 2-5 people. whirlwind attack also does wonders in zergs. user rush/sword throw/riffle to finish off stragglers.

So, so wrong. Those are Invader’s Accesories not jewels and they’re like 300 400 and 500 only the amulet is 500.
And no there are no power toughess vit jewels. You can buy crest of the soldier though (same stats as an orb jewel) sadly there is nothing with the stats of an exquisite for your accesories.
I have the standard CRAZY CRITS trait line and abilities but my chest/shoulders/shoes are power toughness vit and my gs is knights. Rifle is bersker’s. End up using rifle like 70% of the time in PvE and PvP.
Go to the jump puzzle in WvW. Go up to the area above the very first ledge you go onto. When someone walks onto the ledge jump down and knock them off of the ledge.
Oh didn’t notice rune of the afflicted thanks.
You should be able to change the 1 skill on ds to a bolt that applies bleeds either increasing in stacks with life force or increasing in duration with life force. Stacks would probably be more meaningful (and short bleeds like 2-3 seconds) as you usually aren’t standing around in death shroud very long.
I have +143% bleed duration but I’m not sure how much i actually get… Also I agree that pre/crd and condm/condu should be in the same line. I see what they’re trying to do with the crits combined with conditions but the build is just so much less viable than a pure condition or pure crit build so in the end they are just making necros weaker.
So they are lasting 17 seconds? I haven’t actually had a chance to test it since I noticed that.
So here’s my situation. First my build (sPvP)
Scepter/Dagger
30% condition duration – Trait line
20% bleed duration – Major trait
20% bleed duration – 2 sigils of agony
33% scepter-applied condition duration – Major Trait
15% bleed duration – Rune of Centaur
15% bleed duration – Rune of Krait
10% condition duration – Rune of Lyssa
Now through all of this I should have a total of +143% bleed duration. The scepter 2 skill has a base bleed duration of 7 seconds which goes up to 11 1/2 seconds with all this on. So I’m just wondering if this is a bug or if some of these don’t stack or something as there is nothing indicating it shouldn’t be a 17 second bleed.

The point of this build is to never die. And you really shouldn’t it takes a lot to kill you.
Stats to focus
Toughness
Vitality
Healing
Power
(in that order)
This build is to tank and never die while being a pest with cc. You don’t need damage.
Main points
15 trait defense. +120 hp every 3 sec per bar of adrenaline. Because of this I ten to not use the mace burst skill. But sweeing how handy it is there are some times when it is really good to use (interrupt execute or some other channel. Usually done with 3 or 4 instead)
The banner grants regeneration. Like 200+/sec (depending on your healing). Stay near it. Have you allies fight near it.
IMPORTANT: Put sigil of leeching on both maces and both shields. This way whenever you swap weapons your next attack will heal you for 2000. Swap on every CD while in combat.
Skill Use
Swap – do it whenever it isn’t CD
1 – Hit people. Just do it when you aren’t doing anything else.
2 – use it when people are hitting you. You can also use it while out of combat to charge adrenaline for regen.
3 – Nice interrupt. use it whenever it’s off CD if you like to be disruptive. It interupts too so you can also save it for that.
4 – Very good CC. If I have allies i like to combo this with 3 and burst skill to drop a large cc while they kill them.
5 – Good to use if you’re getting focused or low. Also if someone is ranging an ally you can stand between them with this.
6 – Get rid of pesky conditions and heal yourself. Use this when you have stuff like bleed on you because bleed sucks.
7 – Put it down and stand on it. Charge regeneration and stay near it. Carry it around with you. Why not.
8 – Remove conditions. They suck a lot.
9 – Because taking damage sucks.
0 – Your normal skills are better. Use this if you need to be disruptive fast. It’s not worth it to wait for CD so blow everything and switch back.
REMEMBER TO WEAPON SWAP
No. Same reason you don’t use 1 atunement on ele. It’s how the class is designed and meant to be played.
I use my rifle like 70% of the time. My other weapon is a GS which I use mainly for the mobility on rush and spin, the cripple, and the burst on spin (it does like 9k yknow). Most of the time though rifle is your best bet. It’s also a very good idea to to use bull rush and bolas as cc is invaluable.
Are there ANY other viable tpvp warrior specs besides dull HB gimmick

Honestly I see too many people underestimating GS. All people say is “100b is the only good skill but it sucks because it roots you and it’s easy to dodge”. The thing is though 100b is probably the worst greatsword has to offer (it is gimmicky). Here’s my rating of skills and what they should be used for.
Best – Whirlwind attack.
This skill has only an 8 second CD with traits and directional mobility plus AOE. Also what people don’t realize is this skill has more burst than 100b. Usually it hits for 7k-9k damage (even hit for 11k against a cloth once) and it is almost INSTANT damage it has no channel time and IT GIVES YOU EVADE WHILE YOU USE IT.
Second Best – Throw thing (I forget the name)
Piercing ranged cripple that comes back and does 4k-6k damage. Nuff said.
Third Best – Rush
Mobility plain and simple. Very good gap closer and escape. Remember to turn off autotargetting though (it will screw you over).
Fourth Best – Swing
It’s damage is pretty good and it has a good cone. The animation isn’t too slow and it has big range too. Downside is not enough burst.
Fifth Best – Hundred Blades
This skill is gimmicky and only has 2 uses. If you CC the enemy or if you’re standing in a group of enemies. If you get the first one good for you, go to town. You really shouldn’t be doing the second one much though unless you’re playing greatsword tank.
Now really greatsword is best used like this for best results.
1. Do you have cc off cooldown?
Yes: Use it, go to 2
No: Go to 3
2. If cc lands Frenzy, HB, Whirlwind Attack, Switch to rifle, Volley. If it lands it will do 30k+ damage (they will be dead). If it doesn’t part of the whirlwind attack or volley should land and you’ll have done some decent damage. Proceed to use Cripple shot and spam 1. Remember to use your rifle’s burst skill because it does a ton of damage.
If cc doesn’t land go to 3 but skip rush.
3. Frenzy Rush, Whirlwind through them, Sword throw, switch to rifle, Volley, cripplekitten
On a completely different note try playing a regen tank. Get healing/vit/toughness. Take the regen signet, regenerate health based on adrenaline, and banners regenrate. Mace/shield is the tankiesy and you will never die. Ever. Especially with a team.
