Here is something that is actually easy and very useful for bunch of people who salvage a lot.
Please, add Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic that is also on par with crude salvage kit. There is need for both of these and arguably this one will be more useful because only 15 uses on crude salvage kit are really annoying when you need to salvage large quantities of items.
I have also one request -> Could you also offer one that is on par with crude salvage kit ? That is the only reason right now why I’m hesistating to buy one. I don’t really need one with increased chance for rarer materials but at the same time using those crude salvage kits with 15 charges is killing me.
Anyways the OP’s request would be a nice improvement since it works fine with normal salvage kits. I haven’t actually thought of using the search bar to filter my loot for easier salvaging. I’m such a dummy. Can you also search a range of levels ? like 44-46 items somehow ?

Problem with this event is that everybody yells lane X needs more people to defend. While that is the last thing you need. Let those mobs pass…i would be actually interested how many mobs it to get through the portal to fail. So far the leakage was minimal but then we failed every single boss attack.
What you need is enough players in lane 3 so that they surely can do the event and then you need people in lanes 1 and 2 to actually understand that they really need to move to lines 4 and 5 respectively.
Why would you waste 2 phases and wait all that time until you can go another round? But I understand it is easier to explain to players. I’m so frustrated that I might actually suggest it from now on. People really don’t want to move….they just want to kill pointless waves of mobs because it is there in front of their eyes.
Same qustion here. I would hate to have bank full of luck and having to delete it because there is no use for it ….if I could at least send it to my friends. Making it tradable would be the easiest solution and I don’t think I would be against it….there is really no difference between masterwork being tradable and luck being tradable. It only forces you to work for it a bit more and I would love to work for others if it means I would get a hefty sum of cash…
@Subdue: I guess that person gives some value to luck so he is willing to go above the price. Moreover, this is just one example…honestly most of the items are different.

The thing is if you are not a great investor, playing the tp couple of hours every week…. you probably won’t make that 10% on your money per week.
I know I have no idea how to make any money on short term investments, most of my investments are long and mid term. Like now the closest thing I know and everyone knows is that cloth prices will very likely spike when ascended armor is introduced.
On a weekly basis I have no idea what to invest in but if you look at GW1, they did not really reintroduced items. Monocles, as well as halloween weapons, have a potential to be extremely expensive in the future. Sure I have only like 3-4k gold in my assets after a year and people who know the market better have tens of thousands of gold, but I’m not complaining (ghastly shield already costs 30x more than when I bought it, I’m curious what it will be next year).
This is a different case than items from events that come back every year (dragonbash, winteresday…). Fiery and Frost dyes were reintroduced for a couple of days, that was a part of living story as were monocles, but those dyes were always part of the TP. So far it seems unlikely monocles will come back (I can only think of the new Aetherblade fractal where it could drop).
250 gold is not that much for me to sell it. 2000 gold sounds better…so I’ll hold onto all 3 types of monocles I have for now.
If you have problem with this achievement just go run any champion trains. I did this in Queensdale.I usually get 2 or 3 towards that achievement per round of champions (only that kitten spider never has the corruption)
Did the Mad King Says…. 4 times on 2 characters and no mask for me …. so that was kinda lame…
Funny that they decided to bring the least fun minigame back instead of that moba style minigame which actually was more fair, didn’t take forever and thus was enjoyable.
This labyrinth minigame lacks even basic introduction and as a new player you have no idea how it works. Not that it is more fun if you do, because then you will just become even more powerful ghost.
Since the change of tab targeting (to get the rarest mob in the target) it has been impossible to properly target anything since this, for some strange reason, also applies for targeting the nearest enemy (especially players of GW1 are probably most used to this function).
Believe it or not, most fights don’t involve 5 champions. Usually there is only one and this makes your targeting absolutely useless (expecially last boss in the harpy fractal…that dude is invulnerable, but no matter what button you press you will always target him).
I think that the change for tab targeting was a good one but I don’t see why that was extended on all targeting. Target Nearest Enemy should be reversed back to its previous functionallity so that we are actually able target the enemy right in our faces.
Otherwise what is the point of this function?
Do you look forward to monthly achievements ? Do you maybe even enjoy doing them ?
My wild guess would be yes.
However you cannot say the same about dailies. People mostly feel bad just thinking about doing them.
It has been here before….dailies are the problem and limiting the AP points you can get from them is not the solution. It will only take a little bit longer before you get burned out. You will still have to do the thing you don’t enjoy doing.
Weeklies are the answer (until somebody figures out something better)…it is not about tiny tasks and tiny rewards where most of the time is spend looking at the loading screen.
This is something that happens quite often. Bunch of people cone to the ringmaster and get ready for the arena. What happens sometimes is that you will never be teleported inside even if you are ready. You just see people, who were in before you, go in again and again while you are waiting and nothing happens.
The bad thing is that this bug costs money and I honestly lost few golds like that which is such a bummer because I won’t get it back.
1 game with 4 tickets -> 20s + materials
potential profit loss -> 50s
total loss -> 70s
you see the problem if it happens several times a day ? It is kinda annoying…you have to log out, which means you will lose your bloodlust stack and you have to run around with the zerg again. Doing things you don’t want to do.
This is something that annoyed me even before I started getting money this was. When I was trying to do the 5 gambit achievement and I never got in the arena because of this bug…or when I was teleported inside with another player and 2 bosses.
This affects everyone even people who are just trying to do the achievements and they waste 6 tickets they were farming on bosses for 30 minutes (if they don’t want to pay for them)
I don’t even know what exactly is causing it. If anybody can tell me so that I can avoid being stuck outside of the arena, it would be greatly appreciated.
one war just needs to stand on the stairs and press 1 repeatedly….don’t see how that is your problem
Zerk guard sucks at CoE only when your party members don’t have enough dmg and then the fight takes too long. I have also zerk guard and no real trouble so far….
What helped me the most was seeing a youtube video of some warrior doing this. He was runing closer to the middle in the phase 2 so that you don’t have to dodge so much and you can focus on other stuff. I would recommend not to run near the wall….this helped me A LOT.
I had berserker trinkets with knights armor….that didn’t work out …I fell down when she had only 5% health left. So I switched to full berserker and was able to kill her. I had scepter/focus for phase 2 and mace/shield for phase 1 so I could block some attacks and get a tiny bit of healing from shield 5, or you can push the mobs aside when you need to pick up a crystal.
Kill those orbs as fast as you can….even if it means using your elite skill.
Still it took me 20+ tries I think of learning.
Also if you have problems with dmg you can go down farm with a zerg and use your staff(or other weapon) to get your bloodlust stacks.
Those buffs from NPCs in the middle dont work…you will lose them when you enter the arena.
I’m too lazy to change my traits. I used Brazil’s dps guardian build…but I bet yu can have better traits for this particular fight.
Also be in a party so you can target her which helps in phase two when you want to target an orb or you need to find her in between the images.
I’ve beaten everyone with ele except the very last boss. I’m using mostly berserker gear (have some celestial trinkets because I didn’t know better before). But I use conjured weapons – lightning hammer and fiery greatsword with lightning flash to combine it with greatsword skill 4 and deal massive dmg (youtube → fiery rush trick).

fiery greatsword to kill one guy quickly …or to kite them around and Lightning hammer for dmg + blinds.
But you can probably also do it if you just take scepter with dagger or something and kill them in the right order. I’m pretty sure you cannot do the final boss with this build (but I was able to kill one boss with 3 gambits), you have much more chance there with scepter/focus and 0/30/0/10/30 traits.
You have so much to do every day but overall it is so little. Often people in a small guild, I am a member of, don’t have time to go for a dungeon in the evenings becuase first they have to do daily. They just cannot say: “ok I’ll go a dungeon with you”, because they would miss out on the daily. Then the game just becames more and more of an individual game (if it happens 3-4 times a week to you…your motivation to get people together for a dungeon decreases and eventually you will stop trying and rather go with strangers).
Weekly achievements sound much more convenient. Who says those weekly achievements cannot have 7 tiers so that if you log in few hours before the end of the week you cannot get 2-3 laurels?
Moreover daily quests and other daily stuff makes the game a chore. You have to do this and that …. stop putting pressure on us (yea nobody is making you do that….thanks for you advice that really solved all my problems).
One day it is too much for you. You decide it’s not worth it and stop playing for a month or for a longer period of time. Why would anet want that?
Obviously if arenanet needs gated content, it can be done easier….guild missions are once a week. What is the diference if we get 1 thing every day ore 7 per week ?
I doubt that anyone in anet is doing dailies every day, otherwise they would get rid of that a long time ago.
dude… there are 5 moas 3 are the “winning” moas thats 60% chance to win, statistically if u will play for long time you will always win. Thats why u can bet 100 g the economy wuld be ruin.
1st place 140 silver, 2nd place 60silver, 3rd place 20silver the rest 0silver
(140+60+20+0+0) / 5 = 44 silver win on average – so in the long run you are losing money
I dont know how quickly the boss is supposed to go back to stealth, but I’ve done it yesterday and we were almost unable to get her helath down fast enough. We had to run the sparks like 10-15 times before she died.
I don’t think we had little dps …we had mes, thief, necro, 2x guards(altough one of them was using only staff or scepter which is 0 dps). The problem was that she stealths every time after like 10 seconds. If you get that with a group that is not zerk then you have probably wasted an hour or two of your life. I guess that is what happened to OP too.
This chick of the Zaishen order…stands near the WvW asura gates in LA, but it is not a unique face in tyria, also can be found in DR (however, you cannot replicate the face in character creation…I tried), and a handsom zaishen order dude next to her for the ladies or man….I don’t know.
I know there is a long tradition to have gold separate on each character, but if we have laurels shown for the whole account, and it works! We also should think about that feature for all other currencies.
This would be convenient imo…no longer you would have to put money into bank first on one character and then take it with the other one.
What bugs me the most, is that you cannot do that with Karma. It is just stuck on your character.
I think this wouldbe convenient. Sometimes I have extra gold on my characters just sitting there doing nothing…and this way you need more gold sitting around because each character needs few golds …this way you would need to keep just few gold for the whole account.
So what do you think is there any downside to this ?
World 1 cages are meant to be a cake-walk. The problem comes with grinding and feeling the need to fight them 20 times a day. That’s a problem I hope to address next release. Also the cages in future worlds will have more interesting attack patterns that will require some level of strategy. Also I fully endorse finding secret spots where bosses can’t hit you. That’s part of classic platform game strategy.

Well.. that kinda is your fault. You see, there are many people with multiple alts who we all want to gear up with Super weapons. Requiring us to open 25 chests for 1 skin, it’s kinda hard to avoid the need for grinding it.
Don’t grind then, you always can buy those skins from TP, not a big deal.
People grind because it is faster for them to grind baubles than to grind the money they would need for the skins. Not a great advice, sorry dude…
I like SAB a lot and I do few speed runs every day…you could say I am looking forward to it.
However, I have noticed that the only moment when I feel like it is a grind and I am not enjoying it, is when I have to auroattack the cages at the end of each zone while watching closly the boss to avoid the beam. It seems little bit too repetitive….I’m still not annoyed fighting the frog (I like it takes only 2 crystals to kill it so it doesnt feel extremely long)
How do you guys feel about them? I just hope we won’t have to hammer on those cages in every future zone. Hopefully we’ll get something else…or at least something that destroys the cages really fast.
What is the whip good for then ? If it didn’t open the chests I would never use it ….i expected it to stun foes at some distance when I first bought it.
For your own good it is better if you use this game as a learning tool.

First, forget about the nonesence about player’s choice. I personaly would remove magic find. I think it is just useless stat. But yea what is the difference between playing harder content that will give you more rewards and the same difficulty content, but you can make yourself considerably weaker, which rewards you with better loot. It seems the same to me.
The problem is freeriding, though. The problem is the effect on other people. Do I want you to use MF ? No, because it makes the dungeon/event harder/longer.
Similar thing …. I can tag a boss and then go do nothing, my team will do the rest. Freeriding again….although more extreme form. Hey but it is ok….let the player choose how he wants to play the game right? Just kick him and start the dungeon over.
This topic is not about player’s skill and some weird notion that if you are more experienced then you are allowed to capitalize on it. It is like taking money from other players because they are allowed to go for a dungeon you. Maybe if you do all the work alone….yea, but not if everybody is trying hard.
Honestly I want the people who play with me to perform at their best. You cannot influence some stuff….people have to go afk for example and, well, that is normal. What you can eliminate is magic find. It is easier and more fair to just make harder content with better rewards. That seems more fair.
