No. Burst skill are a class mechanic for warriors. They are linked to adrenaline. Read my post again.
Has a warrior you have disadvantages/advantages for using adrenaline.
To give team stability is to introduce counter play to classes that can abuse CC (not only warrior, necros and mesmer as well).
If the problem is the stun meta, this is the only logic thing to do. Of course the classes and duration of stability should be well thought to not completely destry CC in this game and to bring other classes into play.

Adrenaline is too cheap in some builds and those two skills are too strong for that cooldown, even if they cost adrenaline.

With 20s and 25s cooldown, you can still get 14 and 18s cooldown with Brawn and they are way more reasonable and less spammable as they are now.

Giving more enough stability to other profession to counter the stunspam, means completely destroy the non-spam stuns, since, logically, if you give a profession the ability to counter heavy stuns, you are automatically giving that profession the ability to counter soft stuns even more, which are arguably fine right now.
It’s not the way to fix the problem.

In my opinion, sigil of para is the main offender along with Warrior’s amazing uptime thats greater than or equal to thieves. As with all Warriors in every game, Warriors damage comes from uptime: Which means the longer we stay in your face, the nastier we get. Currently Warriors have… 5 ways to keep uptime on an opponent, not counting foodbuffs in WvW, or Dogged March. We are the hardest class to put distance between save for thieves because we have so much stability. so we cannot be feared, KD, KB,Stunned, Blown Out, or Dazed to stop us from using our movement skills. Zerker stance covers Crippled, Chilled, immobilized, also covers fear which is in the condition family for some odd reason. also mobile strikes… We need UPTIME. I Think either we need our uptime shaved down a bit, or other classes need ways to keep us off their behinds.

DH has so many bad players/pugs. What happened? Like did half my server forget how to play?

A hell of a lot more then half. Between FC Olympic track team and Dh hiveminded drones this match up is bad bad bad. I’ve stop bothering to record the last few day simply because it feels like cod5 combat training in godmode.

If this is what weeks are going to be like when the season starts in the bronze league.. I am going to miss the CD/SBI/Ioj trains… This week has been garbage.

I’m sorry if I hurt anyone’s efeelings. But these bottom of the barrel servers in wvw should have the plug pulled.

I don’t know how you all did it by pugging. been doing the last boss with two other guildies and 2 pugs for the last hour and a half. Either our luck with pugs is bad, or this boss is too strong.

Unfortunately, I must disagree. As people are already calling for Healing signets head on the chopping block, we don’t need more of a reason for a thorough nerfing. Anything but more healing.

Wasn’t being kitten. Just stating the obvious. Unless it explicitly says “Goes through Blocks AND Evades” It only goes through blocks. Evades only come from dodging, or from specific skills. Reflects are not blocks in anyway shape or form. The attack is not nullified, it is just returned to the source. things like Warrior Mace #2, Warrior shield #5, and aegis are pure blocks.

You can still use it…. just not as a primary damage tool. At least not these days I guess. It’s good for ringing in people, stopping stomps and rezzes and a decent blast finisher and immob. /shrug. People have just pushed Guardians into their specialty, which is heavy defense and support type. Although I have seen guards 1vX and kill people very easily, so do whatever you want, is my opinionated answer.

I have been wondering, where centaurs have their hearts and other inner organs. In their humanoid torso or in the horse body, or in both? Does anyone know the answer to this?

Little known secrets.

Many years ago there were horses on Tyria, however they were corrupted by alien parasites brought by the “humans” (historians believe unintentionally as uninvited passengers) and lost their heads from the shoulder up which atrophied as the alien parasite denied nutrients. Instead being controlled by the parasites linked into their spine. However this stage of parasite control cannot last for an extended period so these headless horses searched for replacement nutrient sources. What transpired is that as the head and neck atrophied and fell off, a gaping maw was left through which the matured parasite’s appendages drew forth.
Upon coming across their natural host, the human, the parasite ushers the only functionally living horse to run down the prey and draw them in by the legs through the maw by their appendages. Little is known about the interior anatomy of this stage as “Centaur” stage corpses disintegrate after expiration of the parasite. Over the centuries cases of new Human-Horse parasitic hybrids formed by capturing human prey has drastically decreased. Fully absorbing the human’s ability to use magic and utilizing it in such a way to reproduce and create more perfect hybrids. CC Warrior wasn’t always cheese, till people started using it… been using hammer since I was level 50 with para sigil. I’m not good with math, so I didn’t think about how much extra stun there was. /shrug maybe after the october patch the build will be underused, and I can have it all to myself again, wahaha!

Hammer. been using hammer since I was around level 60 on my Warrior. I Didn’t give it much though before because I though dual swords was gonna be my thing. Been using Hammer as my main weapon ever since. Went from Hammer/ Mace + shield → Sword + Shield → Axe + Shield which I settled on. Sure I’m somewhat kiteable, but who cares, I love catching thieves in a stun while predicting their backstab and demolishing them with Hammer AA which can eat as much as 8k HP depending on the armor of the thief in question. It’s just an all around “Warrior” weapon. If there was two handed axe I would be using that instead of Axe + Shield.

Fav Warr NA. Can’t atm, but I’ll be there later.

I can sleep for any amount above and hour and be fine the next morning.

To explain its an expression. I’m still here, even when everyone is asleep, but I’m also one of the first to get up before anyone else and get my stupid butt onto the game at like 8 in the morning for who knows what reason.

I’m not mocking you, you did quite a bit of damage to me a few times. If you had gotten the hammer stuns chained I prob would have gone down.

Something was eating my hp in chunks and not like bleeds would. hmmmm. Anyway Good fight. I think I’m gonna take a break from the game… go outside for once… Im not kidding by the way. I take classes from home, and I rarely leave the house…

It depends who is organizing. I could pull the old Fight club notice off the old match up thread with CD in it and edit it slightly. But I doubt alot of people will come.

At least FC has some honor. And some decent players, props to the Human Ele from AoE who it took 3 tries to beat. not used to S/D Eles don’t see em very often.

It’s probably easier to troll people on the match-up forum than anything else, so getting sucked into their little world is my own mistake.

I know that Warrior has more DPS typically, and Guardian is more supporty, but I know that builds can change all of that so I was wondering what the main differences are…

I’ll be roaming with a Thief friend so will any of the Guardian’s attributes make it better than Warrior? I know Warrior can lock down and CC well…

Are we planning on doing any form of fight club towards the end of the week? It’s hard to find a decent fight when you’re looking over your shoulder every 5 seconds for 10+ people.

Because Warrior is a straight-forward class. No cheesy stealth, no crappy hiding behind clones and phantasms, no boonspam, no myriad of annoying gadgets, no pets.

Just me, my weapons, and my enemy. I’ve been a warrior in every game up till now, and that will never change.
