The sword seems counterproductive, the auto attack is a cone but then the 2 damage abilities only attack 1 mob, its like whats the point of even using them, you’ll stop your auto attack if you use the other abilities and lose dps so you mine as well should just stand there and auto attack…

They need to start offering free customizations because they been changing a lot lately, I noticed some sylvari hairs now have ugly thorns in them, some norn hair colors have highlights now and some norn eye colors changed to completely different tones like from brown to light blue, seriously, this is not what a lot of people want, we deserve a free customization.

I would also like to add that our zoom levels be saved too, its very annoying to have those reset every time we relog, even every time we change maps, my previous zoom level goes back to default every time v_v

This sounds like more of a driver problem and its AMD that has been ignoring us, they just dropped their monthly driver releases leaving video card owners in the dark, its them you should be complaining to not ANet, we may not get a new driver until the end of the year sadly…

Couldn’t find any other section to post this in so this was the only place to put it. I would like to request a new feature for the game that I think would help us a lot, for some of us we use the weapon swamping to switch between 2 styles of play, damage/surviving, 1-hand/2-hand, melee/ranged and with that I would like to suggest our utility skill bar swamp too, between two different sets of saved abilities much in the same way how the utility bar swamps between 2 different saved sets when we go underwater.

Because when we switch between play styles we would like to use different utility skills as well but without having to click each skill individually to set it all up every time, we can’t even do that in combat… it would make weapon swamping much more versatile and easier to use like when we want to use protection skills with a shield and damage skills with a greatsword.

As for the legality of it, don’t think this is a problem. Stores like Amazon.com keep your credit card on file and there’s no legal issue with it. It’s the customer’s choice to keep it filed or not.

Yes, they are allowed to keep everything but the verification code, the 3 letter digit on the back, you guys got me into this enough to search for the legal information and the answer is simply “no” they are not allowed to store your credit cards 3-digit verification code.

And from what MrsAngelD is saying it looks like they are breaking that law by keeping him from re-entering it on his future purchases, it is ment to be a safe guard from keeping anyone else using his account to buy gem store items, if they are saving every bit of his credit card info including the verification code there is nothing to stop that.

No they don’t save it, they don’t even ask for it and that’s the problem. They should be asking for it before completing your purchase.

My framerate dropped, again… I actually had to dip into medium settings now just to stay stable in lions arch, really starting to get sick of this now, didn’t mind so much that the game was slow at launch but the fact that it keeps getting even slower after each patch is mind boggling…

Runs Crysis Maxed, Crysis 2 dx11 mode maxed, skyrim hires texture pack maxed, but gw2 on medium/high no aa, no shadows, no reflections… what is this I don’t even…

This is why we need a remove credit card option for the gem store, until we get such a feature I will never use it.

I see your using fxaa with native rendering, that doesn’t work so well, all it does is blur the whole screen, you should either turn fxaa off or use it with supersampling, it doesn’t work well by itself unfortunately…

It is normal, I also tried large too which gives me a headach, all the other text is huge but the trading post text remains small and blurry.

It would be nice if the main menu shuffled, I have a lot of great music that don’t fit anywhere in the game so I wanted them to play at the menu instead to relive those moments instead it always plays them in order which doesn’t work well considering I’m not going to sit in the main menu forever waiting for them all, I’m pretty nostalgic about my music collection, wish the MainMenu playlist would shuffle like all the other ones.

Its way worse then that for me, I can’t even read the text, its like its been scaled down smaller then all the other text on my screen, it won’t match my resolution v_v

I saw engineers and mesmers got some love in the last patch but it seems guardians where left in the cold, our shield of absorption still does not detonate, when we use the ability the second part of the chain does not come up, we cannot use the healing part of that skill.

Also the Shield of the Avenger doesn’t appear to be doing anything, all it does is sit there. Sometimes it gives off a nice blue dome in combat but wile I’m inside it nothing seems to happen either, no boons, no stat changes, no noticeable reduced or blocked damage from mobs, just nothing.

Lately after the first few patches it seems npcs are loading incredibly slow, even with my latency being fine and the game doesn’t appear to be lagging at all, it still happens making finding vendors and such a pain…

Same problem here, 30 actually limits to 25 which is a tad bit too low, also adding the -fps 30 to the command line doesn’t do anything either…

All I want is a steady 30 frames, not 20, not 25, not 50… 30!!!

This is all very sad considering all the money you had to put into buying ingredients that you can’t gather, cooking is more of a gold sink then profit, I don’t understand how they could nerf it even further v_v

They stopped making updates to hd 4x and under, so if your waiting for new drivers don’t hold your breath, time to upgrade!

Thats pretty crazy, even if you have the worst hardware imaginable, if your able to run the game at all you should at least get 10-20fps on lowest, otherwise you should of just gotten an error like your dx version isn’t high enough 0.0

I suggest you try adding the following command lines to your shortcut:
-dx8 -noshaders

Oh god, never use the device manager to update your drivers, you’ll likely get microsofts generic drivers that are like 5 years old, you need to go to your manufacturers website to get the proper drivers.

Seen it too, don’t really care much though since it works after I load the map.

The eye colors for the male’s are messed up too, I picked the one that said light blue then didn’t find out till after 20 levels that they where brown all along, felt very shafted here, its too late to start over v_v

It depends which version you got, I heard only the North America discs actually came with the game data, every other country only got a 100mb installer.

But even with that you will still have some updating to do, theres already been about 300mb of patches already.

AMD still needs to come out with some new drivers, seriously their 12.8 ones are 2 months old and their beta drivers are a version behind (12.7), theres no hope in sight for us…

You need to drag the window to the left in order to see it, weird workaround I know but it works.

It may look like a bug but your getting a new key out of the box you just opened, this can even happen many times in a row, I got 3 keys just last night.

I don’t understand, the profile specifically says it will only work for crossfire, how can it improve single card users like me?

Probably when you no longer get the message to validate your email when the game launches, thats my guess.

There seems to be a really weird bug where parts of the guild emblem do not show up in certain positions on your screen, you need to drag the guild window to the far left until the emblem preview just touches the edge of your screen, then you will see the whole thing.

I don’t know if anyone has noticed yet but the shield spirit weapon doesn’t appear to be doing anything at all. It does not attack enemies but thats understandable because its a shield not a weapon, however it doesn’t seem to provide any buffs either, I notice in combat it creates a nice blue dome around me but that doesn’t appear to be doing anything either, I do not see any buffs and I do not see any of my stats change in my character screen, so what exactly is this spirit weapon suppose to do? Is it a bug? Is it suppose to be giving us protection or reducing damage, cause it doesn’t appear to be doing anything…

This is why shields suck so much right now and practically every guardian in the game is wielding a greatsword.

Thats nice, when are new drivers for the rest of us coming out? I haven’t seen any since july, and their beta drivers are even 2 versions behind, come on AMD v_v

You sure you didn’t just lag at that moment, you relogged and checked to see if your keys came back or 4 chests are unlocked?

I’d say limit to 30 but that seems broken atm, it only limits to 25 which I wouldn’t recommend, I know your feel, this is the hardest my video card has ever worked, even harder then skyrim and bf3 and any other game, hopefully they’ll start optimizing the game soon, I know it can do better on my hardware.

Indeed, not only do they not give us a stay logged in option but you need two separate logins to access the whole site as well, very fustrating.

I’m really glad to see you guys caring about this, I been having some really weird lag sometimes that I’m sure is not because of my specs, I run bf3 and other powerful games fine but gw2 just won’t cooperate with me.

I have been having mouse problems as well, though never in the login screen, after a few hours of playing the game my mouse curser just seems to dissapear, forcing me to restart the game with alt+f4. Also I noticed a few times with salvaging my mouse curser dissapears until I close my inventory.

I am having some unnecessary lag as well on my HD 6770, pretty sure my hardware is up to snuff to run this game so I don’t understand why its doing such things. Particularly I seem to be lagging in areas near water and during boss fights, also when I’m not lagging and just generally exploring I notice a slight pulsing effect with my framerate which seems to be going up and down many times a second.

Some of my friends with lesser video cards then mine are running this game just fine so I hope this gets fixed soon, it seems like a software or driver issue, hope you guys can collaborate with AMD to fix the problem.

Having the same problem, I lowered my settings down to the point where I get almost 100fps without vsync but when I get into a boss battle with a few dozen other players like at the frozen maw, it starts lagging like crazy. We need a spell effects and particle density option that we can turn down, right now there doesn’t seem to be any way to control that.

Every time I log in I get one immediately, obviously they have some sort of bot to automatically do this, would be nice for some sort of right click option to report them, right now it seems the only way to report people is when they speak in the in game chat which these guys never do, we need a right click menu for names in mails too.

The in game frame limiter doesn’t seem to be working properly, and with the game so demanding at release it would be nice to keep my video card cool.

Right now when I set the in game option to 30 it seems to actually limit my framerate by 25 which is not what I was looking for, 25fps is a tad bit slow and starts to look a tiny bit choppy, the in game limiter doesn’t seem to limit at 30fps like it should, also I tried adding -fps 30 to my command line but that doesn’t seem to work at all, my frames still go full speed with that method.

I have the same issues with Armorsmithing, it requires way too much jute scraps and I barely get any of those at all, even when I’m salvaging every single piece of light armor I can find, it also shows in the trading post, jute scraps are going for 33c each which is way too expensive for a starting mat.

Also I don’t understand why Armorsmithing of all things requires so much cloth, sure for the padding I get it, kind of realistic but it should be toned down to only 1 piece of cloth per item, right now it seems we need just as much cloth as we do ores and finding cloth is a lot harder then finding ores, its very unbalanced and greatly hinders progress.
