cool. QL seems like a lost cause to me. I will check that out.
Veloka is a princess because overlook trebs will take care of it, and you don’t have to run very far to get it more supply.
QL is cool. But so hard to defend with those floating bridge things.
where in the world would these trolls come up with that much supply? gak, the camps flip every 15 min.
That’s just the camps. The towers and everything else flips draining every bit of supply. Over and over. I don’t get it.
I like Langor in EB. It is a powerful position that is good at defending itself and Valley Keep.
I also like Mendon’s even though it is pretty useless and hard to defend. I just like the landscape.
And I like Klovan. A lot of people don’t realize you can treb Stonemist Castle from Klovan.
it got a little awkward for my husband and I with a large guild that was mostly focused on social stuff -parties and website and guild missions, inside jokes from years ago, and so on. We are fairly quiet cats and oriented to playing the game, not so much showing off or talking about it. We spend considerable time in WvW. PvE is mainly a way to make money for WvW for us these days. : )

I keep crashing out of WvW, too.
TC is trending toward being more serious about WvW. Our experience with tier 1 and bringing new commanders to the front has made us more hard core. That may be something to keep in mind about the difference between these two servers. TC is probably going to be playing a harder,more demanding game.
well, I would say use the regulars to retain stuff too, but that may be too complicated for some players or wannabe commanders.
We are getting more organized vs. tier 1 servers and having fun with that. It is intense but very engaging. Lots of f words on Mumble, but it is good stuff as far as learning how the game works. Zerg looks way different from a blob when each player has a role that needs perfect timing and movement.
Some of your team will despise you for not defending.
Before you say you don’t care, think about how it will feel to run with a zerg where no one cares.

Not sure I agree that the Toxic stuff is out of the way. They disrupt supply. There is already plenty of that.

I think WvW is still fresh and exciting for TC. There is a sense of challenge and adventure. You can hear it in the way people joke. Players with more experience are offering advice and training. There is a feeling of plenty of room to grow.
it has been fun playing with you guys this week. I learned from it, I hope the rest of us did too.
Honestly, I have never seen siege abused this way. There has never been enough suppy for a spy to siege cap before the actual team members. In fact, there is almost never enough supply for anybody to exceed siege capacity. It just does not happen.
The worst abuse of supply and siege I have seen is by our own commanders gearing up for a golem run.
even two hours would help quite a bit.
24 silver and 100 hard earned, hard fought, patiently awaited supply for one treb – gone in one hour.

well, a lot of stuff we get WxP for is a bad idea.
Sometimes it is stupid to start any kind of upgrade because you will end up competing with the upgrade for supply you need for basic siege you need to hold the objective at all. You will end up losing the whole thing because of the upgrade.
But still, there should be some payback for paying for the upgrade.

garbage. Any guild is going to have a hard time getting people to tick siege every 3 hrs. All yer trebs are disappear, every night, one hour or three. Try it and see.
a lot of this stuff isn’t very constructive.
I dont see how some arbitrary 1 or 3 hr limit to siege expiration is going to make that much difference to anything but a biological unit like me, but whatever.
Please, I would prefer more time to tick siege, and I think it would improve the game to have a little more time to tick siege.

Usually we don’t have anywhere near enough siege. Really. that is the real problem.
Except for golems. We always have too many of those.
the map is capped because someone built useless siege? I don’t think I have ever seen that. I have seen badly placed siege. I have seen blueprints wasted when no suppy was supplied in time. But being capped by useless siege is way down the list of the problems I have seen in WvW.

You have to keep ticking the siege. That is the point.
I ticked siege for seven hours, did not take seven hours to siege it.
I have done the same thing with arrowcarts on other towers. AC works great, cheap and effective.
I like arrowcarts.
We backed off full Blackgate and Sanctum of Rall zergs with the stupid arrowcarts I set up, three times.

This tower will be lost within two hours of my departure. Want to bet?
I have spent seven hours in this tower I sieged up according to my own plan. It works. But I have to sleep.

stupid, is all I can say. How in the world can anyone who has wanted to have some kind of siege available in a battle not know, someone had to build it in advance with a lot of time and effort and forsight. anyway..
Why would anyone object so strongly to having a longer window for ticking siege? What is the agenda for that?
I don’t understant the troll bs. I dont see it as a problem. If you cant even get people to tick siege, how are you going to get them to troll? The main problem is apathy.
What I said and say again, is the time limit should be longer. One hour is too short of an expiration time for something as valuable and time consuming to create as siege. Please make the expiration time longer.
All that says to me is don’t bother to build siege. Building Siege is a waste of effort. That is not a good use of the capabilities offered by the game.
No sure what is going on with you guys, but I am pretty sure every single bit of siege I put up today will be gone when I get up tomorrow morning. Always is.
Siege can make a very big difference. Stupid and clumbsy little me helped fight off the top rated server zerg three times today with arrowcarts I made, stealing supply from upgrading towers and keeps just in time when nobody was looking. Siege matters in WvW. It should not disappear in 60 min.
We should not be punished for caring about the team enough to buy siege.
