This seems to interfere with transmuting armor with the bugged runes on it btw, so don’t by anything with an expensive skin until you are sure you can transmute to it.
Sounds related to the problem I have with six superior rune of the ranger showing 12/6. There is some info here about it, but not sure if there is a resolution yet.
I have questions about a bug with a set of 6 superior runes showing 12/6. There are several posts on the issue from months ago, but I can’t tell if there was any resolution. Someone said to “go to the Mists and change the runes on your armor there” but I don’t do PvP and have no idea how to do that or if it would actually make the mess worse if I tried to. These runes cost a fair amount and I do not want to trash them. Since I can’t find a coherent conversation on this topic, I am creating a new thread to see if I can sort it out. Thanks
(dunno if it matters, but I have midnight fire and burgundy dye on feathered light armor.)

It looks like equipment repairs made in Fort Trinity remove dye from parts of equipment in some cases. Using the repair guy removes color from part of my boots until I relog.
Not sure what changed. One thing I wondered about is I revive all of the NPCs and kill every hostile on the way since I am ele and not well armored. Dunno if the slower pace was a problem.
Worked today! (11/14/12) It’s not a very hard quest when it works. You kill a bunch of undead on the way to the bridge then watch the crew of Vigil you are leading shoot down undead under the bridge with mortars. Then you decide what to do about the targets turning out to be other Vigil instead of undead they looked like.
Sorry it took a while to notice your post, Jeffrey. I will try this again and see how it goes.
The cart and the group of NPCs were all stopped just before the bridge, not on the bridge.
Same problem for me. The NPCs stop on the green star just before the bridge.
The Shell Shock storyline gets stuck at the bridge. The NPCs stop moving and just stand there over the green star.
I noticed cats want a lot of room to kitten jumbo catbox and lots of puppy pads work for me.
one reason I don’t switch attunement much is that I have not figured out how to switch weapons in the middle of a fight. There is such a big diff between weapon skills for staff and scepter/focus. Water attuned staff does practically no damage. It’s all healing, which is cool in a big mob battle you can stand back from, but sucks otherwise.
ok, I think I see what happened. The story segement starts with a bunch of hostile Undead in view. If you kill all of them, it derails the story. The green star just stays there in its last position. You have to wait to kill stuff until you are prompted by the NPCs.
Anyone know of a problem with this Charr story segment? We are supposed to find an object (the Undead Detector device) after killing some Undead outside Junction Haven in Gendarran Fields, but there doesn’t seem to be anything at the location marked by the green star on the map. I looked for about 20 min before giving up.
I think it is mentioned somewhere upthread that if you choose to restart from the checkpoint after you fall or get pushed off the bridge, you will start from the other side, as if you had made it across. You will still have to deal with another jumping puzzle and vague directions from the Sylvari, but it isn’t bad. When I went through this story section, it also looked like the foes had been set to not attack. They don’t fight back. You can just kill them where they stand.
Asura have nice little homes. They sleep in floating hammocks. You can find them in several places around Rata Sum and Metrica Province. Sometimes their sleeping and living quarters are way up on top of the buildings.
