Most fun/Boring classes in the game atm?

As JT mentioned, it’s going to vary from person to person. I main an engineer and I love him for his utility, aoe, and quirky gadgets and gizmos. The idea of the toolbelt, slick shoes, and battering ram was inspired from the movie Goonies, as is the Fawcetts Bounty JP. Someone at Anet has good taste

Necro and Revenant are two other classes I play from time to time when I need to take a break from my engineer. They both have strengths and weaknesses, but they’re good fun. Elementist is also cool too given all the unique abilities he has. I only wish his special effects had more scale to them. Kind of like the spells in Sacrifice

Ranger for me was the most boring but only because I felt his skills were bland and useless. Traps are a neat idea, but mostly for roleplaying. Most of the time I just leaped around and killed things with my sword, which got a bit boring.

Bamm legendarily killed

Personally I don’t think the legendary executioner is difficult. She has a very distinct attack pattern that you can dodge easily. I ended up solo’ing her down to 60% using crappy ranged weapons. The only reason I ended up killing myself is because I got tiered of fighting with the reflects and slow dps thereof. Next time I’m going in there with my flame thrower and bomb kits. It won’t take any effort to bring her down with those two.

Difficulty in the Heart of Magumma

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Nate.8146

HoT difficult is the same as Orr was pre-nerf. Does anyone remember how Orr was during the first couple of months? Getting mobbed down by risen.

I was thinking the same thing. Temple of Grenth was a graveyard and getting ganked by risen mobs was the norm. Anyone remember the Abomination that patrolled Lyssa’s temple? If you got it up to 25 stacks of frenzy, it would run around like Sonic the Hedgehog and down entire zergs in less than a couple seconds.

HoT was very difficult for me at first, but some of that difficulty had o do with the fact that I’ve gotten lazy over the years facerolling world bosses and cruise controlling through new content as there wasn’t many new challenges since the end of LS 1. Once you nail down the mechanics and know how to cheese the AI, it will get a lot easier. It’s not uncommon for me to solo a camp at night in Verdant Brinks without any issue. Or do most champion hero points in VB or AB solo with moderately good chances of survival. Practice makes perfect, so don’t get aggravated when you die. Instead, use that as a learning opportunity. What did you do wrong, were you to aggressive, to defensive, did you have the wrong skills equipped, dodge at the wrong time, etc. Take notes and avoid making the same mistakes.

And most importantly, beware of scaled up mobs. People who AFK in an area or start swarming in will only add additional challenge if you plan to defend that area. If something feels obviously over powered, it’s probably scaled up. Back off and play more defensively unless you’re confident in your abilities.

Shatterer Achievement #13

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

Those of you that read the blog entry know there’s only 12 new achievements to go with the new Shatterer, however I would like to propose a 13th community challenge achievement. Any seasoned player knows that many of the world bosses are moments when you cook dinner, browse the web, or read a bedtime story to your kid all the while GW2 does its thing and you return later to collect your reward. The new Shatterer offers to ante up the challenge, but I propose an even greater challenge to go with this new and improved boss. That you defeat the new Shatterer straight up naked the entire fight. No armor, no accessories. Just your weapon/s of choice, skills, and the hair on your chest.

To have a chance at winning the Internet for the day, post a screenshot or video of your boastful victory with all courageous players in the map in their glorious undergarments!

I also do WvW and like to maintain a balance on my infusion stats (bonuses against WvW guards). What I ended up doing was restricting my AR to just my backpack and rings. Infused + attuned slots allows you up to 5 free slots for AR that won’t impact any of your existing WvW infusions. I have +12 AR infusions for each slot to give me 60 AR, which is sufficient for up to levels 50-60. I’m not sure about spending more to bump the +12 AR infusions, but right now I enjoy this nice balance.

Salvaging (Infused) rings yield more matrix?

I haven’t been able to salvage my attuned rings. They show up as greyed out. Not sure if that’s by design. As for infused, hard to say. One time a regular ascended ring gave me 20 matrices, others just give me 2. I suspect it’s all RNG.

Med kit suggestion

in Engineer

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

It’s a neat idea that also plays off some of the existing game mechanics behind Harald and Druid, although I think you would need to tweak it a bit more to make it viable for combat. You don’t want an engineer to become a liability because all they’re doing is providing heals or buffs to a single player. A Herald can grant AOE protection or regeneration to 5 people while still being able to attack. The druid’s primary staff attack deals damage and heals.

I think the main question to ask is, can it be used effectively in a raid or WvW situation? If the answer is yes, if you can use your med kit without becoming a liability to your team or the challenge at hand, then it’s a worthwhile change. I would love to make hard choices when selecting skills and traits, but the way some things get designed in this game it’s often quite easy to identify clear advantages and take them over the others. Here’s hoping that maybe Anet will take another serious look at the med kit.

Fractals - likes/dislikes

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Nate.8146

I haven’t fractal’d much since its release, but decided to get back into it. There is a bit of a skill gap with some players, but nothing I would consider unusual given the casual player base of GW2. Just gotta browse the web while you wait for them to complete the JP (which IMO is a bigger issue compared to lack of agony resistance).

Overall I find fractals fun and rewarding. My main dislike is the player fragmentation. I’m not fond of the fractal leveling system because it segregates much of the community. The adept tier isn’t bad because there seems to be enough people doing those. The veteran levels so far feel like a hit or miss depending on whether or not someone feels like doing that level. I had to wait 10+ minutes just to get one person to join for level 34, and then we both left after 15 or so minutes of waiting. Makes me uneasy to think how bad things might get when reaching the higher levels.

Nerf Incoming !!!

Nate.8146

The clock is ticking.. tick tock tock.

My guess?
1. Reduce Bulwark gyro from 50% dmg mitigation to something much lower like 20% or less.
2. Sneak gyro CD increased to 60 – 120s to be more in line with other elites, like the beautiful and most amazing Elixir X.
3. Gyros will continue their erratic navigation as that is as-designed. On the bright side, Minionmancers have the same nerf (though arguably even worse).
4. Adaptive Armor will be nerged again, this time to just 10 or 20 toughness per stack. In the next quarterly update, it will be further nerfed to -%, thus causing the engineer to take more damage rather than reduce

Good WvW builds

Nate.8146

Mortar’s quite good at zerg fights. I don’t usually find reflect an issue because there’s always some areas to ground target and AOE blast anyone nearby. Or that zergs are in constant motion so you just have to find an undisturbed area and tag ppl on the sidelines. The orbital strike is awesome too. It’s a heavy hitter when two of them go off and you’re a maxed out zerk with all traits giving you +% dmg modifiers and 25 stacks of might. It was really cheep too when Anet scaled back the visual effect for it. No one would be able to see it coming in the blob and you’d just score big on it.

Otherwise, if I go linebacker with the commander I like to horse around with lightning fields and hammer time. Sneak gyro, even when short lived for its lightning field and super speed, is quite good at getting people to lose target on you when you stealth. Combined with slick shoes it’s just all-around dirty play that you know makes other people curse.

Can World Boss Shadow Behemoth be reworked

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

I agree SB difficulty should be raised. When I started playing GW2, there were a lot more threatening mobs in Queensdale. The wasp queen was quit hard and I died frequently on that, as was the troll event. The boars in that area were also a kittenallenging, especially if you agro’d more than one or the veteran. I don’t see why SB shouldn’t be adjusted as such. Nowadays, these world bosses are mostly farmed by lvl 80s just looking for something to do. Might as well make it a little less brain numbing.

Despite that however, I doubt Anet will focus resources on central Tyria since HoT (paywall) is the main focus right now. Teq and Tripple Trouble are the only 2 world bosses providing some level of challenge. To spend time reworking all the other bosses would be to much. At this point, I would simply say enjoy the easy loot.

Turrets need some buffs

1. Bring back deployable turrets.
2. Bring back condition damage on turrets (rifle: bleed, rocket: burn).
3. Bring back 1200 turret range on rifle and rocket, 1500 with upgraded trait.
4. Bring back turret self heal.

Those are the only four I would like to see, and they were features we use to have. To make it simple, just copy/paste code from 2012.

HoT versus living world season 1

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Nate.8146

Even though season 2 was the regular releases like season 1, it was not as good because it was permanent and I felt no pressure to do it

Saying “pressure to do it” is not the correct choice of words here as that implies an unhealthy practice (ie: excuse to be glued to your monitor). I’d rather say LS 1 had a much better narrative and execution than LS 2. Despite that LS 2 didn’t have the same caliber as LS 1, that’s not to say the new content wasn’t enjoyable. Making it permanent (mainly single player stories to earn ascended gear) allows Anet to continue monetizing their works, which is a good thing for them as a company to grow. There’s plenty of games out there that focus on single player experiences that vastly excel what any MMO company can deliver. GW2 is a place for me to kick back and relax as I partake in some sort of challenge with a large group of people. Even with HoT, I continue to enjoy that. The Mouth of Mordremoth battle was a unique experience and I enjoyed that. As time goes on and new content is released however, that sort of experience will be harder to obtain given that fewer people will have a desire to complete the meta. So enjoy things while you can.

I used it almost all the time for both WvW and PvE, but when Anet released the new mortar kit I haven’t looked back. And now there’s the sneak gyro elite, which is equally great. The only time I ever use supply crate now is when I’m horsing around with pure turret builds. It can be funny to have an army of turrets. When other engineers see that, they end up doing the same thing. Next thing you know the whole room is loaded with turrets.

Wintersday Jump Puzzle (need guidence)

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Nate.8146

The first step is a long jump, so you need to jump near the edge of the peppermint (about 1 foot from the edge). It also helps not to do the JP or jump on the same presents if there’s to many others nearby. With everyone jumping and cluttering up your view, it can be distracting. Once you’re on the first present, you have to maintain a continuous upwards motion. You can make one or two mistakes and recover if you’re lucky or quick to react, but try to get a feel for the jumping motion and maintain that flow. For me, it feels like forward, jump, forward + rest ½ way, land, repeat.

technically i cant think of one jumping puzzle which is really a puzzle. Its more a sort of an Indiana Jones style Adventure Thingy.

It’s been a while since I’ve done JPs, but Weyandt’s Revenge, Scavenger’s Chasm, Mistwrought Vault, and the Guild JPs all had elements of puzzles. Not all JPs are thought challenging, but it’s definitely fun if you’re into platform adventures (SAB!).

As for the OP, it’s not worth getting stressed over the Wintersday JP or the shoulders skin. IMO it’s one of the more fun JPs that’s meant to make you laugh and have a good time. It’s not to be taken seriously because it’s a means to an end for a skin. Try to enjoy the lighter side of Wintersday.

How do I get an easy 1000g to craft a full ascended set by just playing the game and not grinding?

FYI, you don’t need much gold to make ascended. Just enough to buy Thermocatalytic Reagent from vendors to craft various ascended mats, otherwise most ascended gear can be crafted for nothing. Learn to salvage every drop and build up your mats in the bank. Sell unwanted stuff. Get out there and start mining. Don’t be lazy looking for the easy route and buying everything from the TP. That’s the exact reason why prices are so high (demand > supply). It took me a couple months to fully acquire my Celestial ascended gear and it cost me next to no gold to make.

I was hoping for some killer, God of War style fight with a massive plant dragon where the dragon itself is the battlefield. Or at the very least something equally awesome. I trusted you would deliver and was eagerly working toward the end, and you managed to drop the ball right on my heart….of Thorns…

Considering HoT was released in less than a year from its announcement, plus likely a few months of pre-production before that announcement, there’s only so much you can do in the time given. The game went on hiatus for several months while they brought all hands on deck to finish the expansion, so their goals were quite ambitious. I’m OK with them spending fewer resources on the single player plot if it meant they put more attention to the multiplayer aspect, and they most certainly did with the Mouth of Modremoth battle. The single player experience is something you typically only do once, but the multiplayer activities are the repetitive stuff in MMOs and that’s where I would want to see most of the epic battles.

Can anyone of you use Shredder Gyro?! o.O

in Engineer

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

I tried the Shredder gyro a few times, but I agree with others that it’s a bit lackluster. The concept is neat, but there’s a few problems with it. First, you have to keep the thing fed. If there’s no fields, there’s no whirling. Some fights I felt like I was focusing less on the enemy and more on keeping the gyro happy. Fights end up taking longer than they should. Secondly, in pug zerg brawls it’s a mess. Fields being dropped on top of other fields and often the whirl finishers applied are the more useless ones. Like blinding a champ that isn’t affected by blinds, or cleansing bolts when I don’t care for condi removal.

Maybe if they drop the whirl finishers and up the physical damage so the gyro behaves more like acid bomb, I might consider using it more often.

More populated map invite bugged ?

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

Myself and a few others have the same problem. I suspect their load balancing algorithms are not configured properly. For example, it’s better to have 2 maps running with a population distribution 70/50% rather than to have 100/20%. New players will enter the server with only 50% population until it reaches a certain threshold before a new server is created to start offloading new players. The issue worsens due to the LFG system because you have random people pulling other people away from their servers. People may bunny hop servers until they find a more populated server and/or with tags, which skews the load balancer. This is often quite an issue with Dragon Stand where people are competing with each other to taxi in players. So you end up with something that looks more like a distribution of 100/100/100/80/50/30/20/10/10/10. Lots of new players are pushed to the lower populated servers to help it grow. In one instance, I was kicked out of 3 different servers in less than 10 minutes. Clearly the load balancer trying to clean up these low populated instances.

I prefer to use Glint + Shiro. With Impossible Odds, you will hit more with your primary mace to proc up more conditions, plus have a stun break / evac handy. Personally found that more useful than demon.

As for gear, I’ve only played with exotic rabid gear. The low health pool in HoT can be quite unforgiving though, so you have to play it safe. Since you’re within melee range, one wrong move could be your one way ticket to the mists.

Lately I’ve been playing hammer scrapper with only gyros. So far it’s working extremely well in PvE. The amount of lightning fields I can create on such a short cooldown is awesome and fun. Other classes get a perma stab/might/HP/sec?

in Engineer

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

I only use FT for loot tagging. Even without might and stab, it’s the most OP tag weapon next to guardian staff. Beyond that, even with 25 stacks of might the FT feels really slow to kill things. Two hits with my hammer in a second often does more damage than the FT in 2¼ seconds. You also need to connect all the hits, which depending on what you’re doing might not be possible. For condineers, the toolbelt skill is really strong, but also has a heavy CD.

There are however good applications for using FT juggernaut though. The perma stab helps you achieve in-game objectives that others would struggle with (I’m thinking of that flower/bloom mission in Auric Basin).

GW2s New Direction

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

@Soon
You might have forgotten (or were not around) when Anet introduced character advancement changes a while back that had a similar gated mechanic in core GW2. You had to go out into the world and fight a certain boss or do something to unlock a trait, or cough up the cash. Those lvl 80s grandfathered in were fortunate enough not to have to deal with that. So no, HoT is not the first attempt at this.

@Unholy
Time gated events were part of GW2 long before HoT. World bosses use to be random events until Anet decided to put them on a timer. Temple runs are still random, but are optional group content. Dynamic events, which are still plentiful in HoT and equally fun to do, can easily be done alone. Anet introduced new challenges with HoT, but much of their design principles are still the same. Twisted Marionette, Silverwastes, Battle for LA all had similar mechanics. Lanes, divided group content, different boss battles, etc.

I don’t do dungeons or fractals, nor will I do raids. However, I will not discount the groups of people out there that do enjoy that content. Raids to me are similar in principle to dungeons and fractals. Just with different name. If someone likes that kind of thing, kudos. I don’t PvP either, but I love WvW. Again, if people want to PvP, kudos to them. Go nuts, there’s enough content released by Anet to go around for everyone, though more so for PvE enthusiasts.

I am not worried about Anet’s direction. This is their game, their baby. They can do whatever they want with it. As long as their vision of entertainment aligns with my own, I will continue playing. If they do something I don’t like, I have a Steam library full of games just begging for my attention.

So, how am I supposed to do the hero points?

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

Hmm, maybe you’re just in a low populated megaserver? I completed specializations for 4 classes so far, one recently this weekend. Anytime I had to fight a tough champ, there was always someone nearby or the fight already started. Most of the time I’ll just trigger the HP and when the champ icon shows up on the screen, people start showing up (usually in Auric Basin). Though, I’ve done those fights enough times to know how to solo most of them.

I imagine Anet will modify the challenges to scale based on the number of players present, so I wouldn’t worry about what the future holds. For the time being, it is what it is. Personally, I’ve never bothered much with map chat or LFG. The only fight that needs some coordination is the vamp broodmother in Verdant Brink, but it’s real easy to get ppl to tag along if you wait to battle the Wyvern at night. Once you kill it, you just make a local chat announcement and bee line it to the airship. People will follow. Lots of other HP events happen that way too. In Auric Basin, most of the Pylon missions have HPs nearby and you just have ppl tag along.

Revenant build question

Nate.8146

I tried conditions with full rabid set and undead runes. It’s not terribly hard to maintain 1K burn + 1K torment damage without using legend powers. When you can keep mobs still, Mallyx AoE fields can really stack up the torment to about 2-3K. I didn’t want to blow gold on superior runes of torment, but those runes definitely synergize well with the Rev. Viper armor would be a solid replacement for rabid for the condi duration as well.

Personally I decked my Rev out in full soldiers gear. Mainly because range is very useful in some fights and hammer is our only access to range, and it’s amazingly good too. Very very survivable, high power damage, and 40% crit chance with fury (trait: roiling mists) means I don’t need to waste a stat in precision. Hammer hits like a freight train and sword/shield combo stacks vulnerability up. I use glint/shiro, but shiro mostly for stun breaks since that’s the only way you’re going to survive if you get whacked. Otherwise, I stick with glint to stack up might and perma fury. Glint would work for condi builds as well for the might stacks.

Legendary armor and ascended armor

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

Ascended isn’t to bad if you’re a loyal fan of the game (ie: you play a lot). It took me 6 months to complete mine (full celestial), but it was worth it and I had fun saving up for it. Legendary Armor, like weapons, are unique in that you can change your stats without any cost. Other than that, they have the same stats and upgrade slots. I made the legendary Predator and it’s pretty cool how I can change the stats to match my play style. Make no mistake however, crafting that gear is no walk in the park. It costs a lot of time and money for just one legendary weapon. I can assure you, legendary armor will not be a common sight in this game, especially a full 6 piece set. The economy would tank if everyone had easy access to stat changing armor. I have no illusions of the effort that’s going to be involved in crafting it. So I would say set realistic expectations for yourself. Ascended is already a stretch for most, so if you can craft that and you’re happy with the stat choices you made, then legendary is nothing more than social status.

Why aren't Gryos in underwater combat?

in Engineer

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

Djealo, I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion. I enjoy underwater combat myself and find it quite relaxing. The scenery is also much different compared to land, so it breaths new life into the game.

As for the OP, I think specializations were catered specifically to meet the challenges in HoT, which is predominantly land based. There’s only a stretch of underwater in TD, but I haven’t seen any purpose for it other than map filler. Thus, land focus art and design was likely the primary focus for the team. Take turrets for example. Turrets underwater look like underwater buoys. For gyros, they would have to make them look like miniature submersibles with their own sounds and such. It would add extra effort that I think Anet didn’t have the resources to commit. Considering fixed and existing critical bugs since release, had they spent time to address underwater specializations I think the project would have been delayed, or in a much worse release state.

Feedback & Concerns From the Quiet Ones

in Engineer

Posted by: Nate.8146

Nate.8146

As engineers, we are the “Jack-of-all-trades” of gw2. Something many consider to be a good thing. However, as the Jack-of-All-Trades, we are also the Master-of-None. Anything, and I mean absolutely anything, we can do, both can and will be done better by other professions.

I disagree here. With the modifications anet made to our mortar, our class is the only one that can apply constant ranged AOE pressure with no CD. This is especially useful in WvW for zergs that bunker down with arrow carts. While other classes have to risk getting into 1200 range, I have an extra 300 range gap. I help push them back while bombing them from a distance. Twin orbital strikes with Kinetic Battery hurts like hell and it’s enough to cause panic or down a few people, which is vital for rushing.

HoT introduced several new beneficial options for our class as well. We are now the 3rd class with access to lightning fields. Those stuns/dazes are very useful in HoT, and in a WvW zerg too. Secondly, our sneak gyro is a bloody lifesaver / time saver. Doing missions, opening chests, or activating sources of power without getting annoyed by trash mobs. And using it to help rez the down while keeping agro off. Shadow Refuge doesn’t even come close to this utility, especially with its very long CD and lack of mobility (yes you can argue AI pathing issues, but there are workarounds). The function gyro has also saved many lives in my travels and although Anet could improve the quality of life using it, so far I have come to love it.

“Meta” for some might mean min-maxing and chugging down game content by DPS’ing your way to the finish line, but in this game utility is what I enjoy and engineer’s have tons of it. With other professions I have to ration my stun breaks or condition cleanse, or wait for backup to take on a champ. With my engineer, I can charge head in and feel much safer doing so.

My advice: Ignore what everyone says and play how you want. The game is much more fun that way.

Orbital Strike

Personally I never found the original orbital strike all that exciting anyway. Change it to artillery strike and make it similar in concept to the ele’s meteor shower and now we’re talking. Would bring us one step closer to the commando specialization Next expansion, release the hounds

Where did you guys get the charged hammer head from for the Machined Hammer?

You need weapon smithing and craft an oiled hammer head. From there, bring it to any place of power to charge it up (similar to quartz crystals).

In addition the the map completion bug for some, there’s another bug where completing the Treasure Mushroom event will unlock the collection for a random specialization. So far I killed the champ twice on my engineer and it’s unlocked the Berserker and Druid collection, but not my engineer’s collection yet.

Gyros are functionally pointless in PvE

I’ve been surviving quite well using medic and bulwark gyros. Their instant cast is vital in those quick to need scenarios and their toolbelt skills are awesome. Sneak gyro has also proven very useful. I often use it to help rez the down while keeping mob aggro off, or using it to get around objectives that don’t involve killing endless trash mobs. And the function gyro… I love that thing. Now that I’m getting use to selecting downed players in a zerg mess, it’s awesome being able to help someone back up while still focusing on the attack, or using it as a 2nd player to help rez quicker.

Blast, Purge, and Shredder gyros however are not that good for my play style. I tried to use purge gyro for a bit, but the elixir gun gives me more value. Every time I used Blast gyro, I felt like I was being a noobish bearbow #4. I quickly removed that from my skill bar knowing just how annoyingly unnecessary knockbacks are.

I understand your movement concerns, but you get use to the quirky movement once you play enough with them and understand how they work. I’ve pretty much dialed it in now and know how to tether the gyros to keep up with me, especially the sneak gyro. I do suspect this is a bug though, but since there’s a workaround it’s not critical.

I thought Magnus Falls was all 4 maps, not just Verdant Brink?

Also, I find adventures a good source of XP, especially when you complete them the first time. Some of them are fun to do too.

And to add to the topic, what skin set do you think would look best with the Fix-R-Upper? Seems to me that Aetherblade or Magitech armor suits it well.

Function Gyro issues

I agree with your two points. I would also like to add that when you’re near someone, if the function gyro is available it should be used instead of you stopping combat in order to res unless you action twice. At least that way in medium to large scale skirmishes, if someone downs near you can can just tap the F key while still fighting.

I agree the skin looks good. It’s a shame Anet made it ascended quality though because it does require a lot of work to unlock. The biggest one is the amount of masteries you need to unlock to achieve it. By the time you get it, you’re likely to be sick of playing HoT

I seen someone at level 66 in Lion’s Arch. Not sure if there’s an exploit to advance quicker without XP or earning mastery points, but 66 is like… I don’t even see how that’s possible.

Change to HoT Story Gating

This is a good move, but it’s a bit of a shame it wasn’t anticipated before release. I liked how the story tied in with the live gameplay, but gating the experience caused me to continue advancing through the maps while the story fell behind (massively so with chapter 14). It’s a bit weird going back and continuing the missions when I already know what’s ahead.

Function Gyro

it floats above you when its off cd

So that’s what that is. I thought that was some el’cheapo decor for the scrapper, haha. I still haven’t used it yet, but I assume you just click on a downed player and press the use key?

— Edit
Confirmed, just click on a downed player and press the Interact key. Bit of a challenge when there’s a Zerg battle going on, but otherwise neat. Not sure if it’s standard functionality, but I noticed I couldn’t res another player nearby after I commanded the function gyro to res someone further away. Took a couple seconds after the gyro returned before I could res him.

Those poor poor boxes. Well, at least they’re in a better place now.
