if it happens again i will, it happened the other day too, but to be honest we never looked for it that time, it was like hammer as gone, lets wipe.

Well we looked for it as long as could be expected, its shouldnt happen end of story. Its a bug that was NOT fixed correctly. For us today someone carrying the hammer got blown of by the wind and died somewhere off the map, hammer was gone and did not return to spawn point.

well it happened today in our group, and a few days ago in another group, so not such a hot fix :P

I do not doubt this, I agree exploits should be fixed first. But they don’t seem to care much about the smaller annoying bugs like for instance when the person carrying the hammer gets knocked off or falls, the hammer is lost and you have to wipe.

I could go on all day about small bugs in fractals, It’s the more irritating bugs that I mean, not game breaking but annoying. Probably pretty simple to fix too.

Guys how do you feel about the new fractal system in regards to what level people should or should not attempt when pugging.

For instance I’m level 34, do you think its best to

A, not try levels say 4 higher than my own.
B, stick to level tiers suitable to your AR (for me +30ar so stick to 34-39)
C, go for 40 max.
D, other?

Again Anet have fixed 90% of the exploits in fractals, don’t get me wrong I’m not against them fixing the exploits.

But yet to see a single bug fix, did two daily runs today and the usual bugs are still there, plus a new bug that causes people to repeatedly died over and over and can’t be rezzed, or respawn after being killed in volcano.

Why no bug fixes?

lol so they beta tested the new dailys well then, not!

point is most of the dailys can be done just by playing normal

iv had some nice exotics from these chests today in fractals, also had some junk. My problem is that I almost missed the one with an exotic because they need to be more visable.

i found it really easy, did both one before and after midnight in about 20-25 minutes.

Most people dont PvP, this would be unfair for PvP’ers to get 2 laurels per day.

That being said, they could make it so you can only get 1 laurel per day but either from normal or PvP daily

hasnt this always been the same yet people have reached 80, i dont think Anet intended on anyone reaching 50+ yet. Its all part of there slowly adding more ascended gear train.

yup i have 5000 taking up bank slots ^^ i’ve even purchased max 20 slot bags for all my alts with them too.

I understand that, but im talking about the daily tier chest, at present I can do one daily for 2-8, 10-18, 20-28, 30-38.

Can I now join a 40 and get that tier chest too?

Im lvl 34, can I do lvl 40 and get lvl 40 daily chest?

Or would this still count as my daily 30-39 tier chest?

just got it 5 minutes into patch, kicked me out but letting me back in again. Hope this dont start to happen all the time.

Anything that isn’t in the patch isn’t suppose to be there, and anything that is, is suppose to be there. “It is what it is.”

Those features listed are just things you want, most of which, ANet has said nothing about.

While I am all for nagging ANet to get out features players want, I do not approve of you laying blame on them for not implementing things they aren’t working on or aren’t ready for launch.

1, Still nothing I can do with the bank full of ascended rings.

2, Still nothing I can do with the bank full of relics.

3, Still no token collectables area, even thou we now got another currency taking up bank space.

4, Still would like to see consumables UI for quick use instead of having inventory open 24/7.

Guys its always been file number that determines the % completed not total size.

Ahh in that case its impossible to tell how long its going to take, the first 2 files could be 1Gb each and the rest down in a flash!

Simple answer, no, why look at my friends list (online now about 100 players) 60% of them are in dungeons/fractals, 20% in WvW or PvP. That leave 20% of my friends scattered over a huge game, im betting this is the same for most people.

You dont see them becuase they are in instances.

I honestly don’t see the logic in avoiding it, for the sake of protest, do you really think Anet are going to notice a small minority not wearing ascended or even care?

well you need Ascended for agony ressist if you intend on leveling fractals, which believe it or not, some find FUN, me included.

If you dont do fractals then its plainly obvious you dont need Ascended gear, simple.

On the other hand if you can get Ascended gear without doing fractals, i.e. the new dailys, and the ascended stats are better than what you have, why not?

Reason I hate MF is people dont know when to use it, and when not. Just did lvl 30 daily and we wiped on valcano end boss (mainly because guard didnt know what a shield was) but after several attempts I look at the team and 3 of the 4 pugs still have MF nurishment. At that point i gave up!.

lol the funny thing is, most the people here moaning about the release time, and looking forward to the patch will probably be back here tomorrow moaning about the patch nerfed x, the patch messed up y.

Its coming, as long as it dont cause connection issuses or game breaking problems, im happy.

I strongly suggest Anet to release the patch note before the day when launching out the update, so that people would be hot to discuss about the patch notes instead of the date when the patch will be out.

It will be sometime before 8am 29th GMT, usually it’s been between 3am and 6am.

Like someone already said they won’t give times because they don’t want everyone crashing the download server, perfectly timed so most of Europe except for the hard core players are sleeping, this half’s the expected download strain on their servers.

Best advice go exploit the dungeons one last time before they are fixed :P

reading this i really feel like i have too much HP and not enough DPS. Im a mesmer with 23-25k HP – 25k with nurishments.? Is this a bad build for dungeons?

OMG Im so dumb, iv looked over that map several times, but after looking again I missed Hoelbrak (55% map).

Now i feel stupid :P

The vistas will only be in explorable zones. It’s a pain, but you may need to hop to each zone/home city and check which one isn’t 100% if you haven’t already done so. There aren’t any vistas which are unexplainable I’m afraid

Yes im starting to think that hovering over map is not giving correct info.

@Yargesh, yes all 4 WvW maps are 100% including 3 clones and Eternal.

@showatt, i been there many times, but will check back.

@ Blackmoon, i dont have 100% on any of the achievements but i read that many peopl dont, I have hovered over ever area on my map and everything is 100%. Just tried Durmand Priory but the gates to the instance are closed.

I have 99% and im missing

2 vistas and 17 POI ? from what i can see i have 100% map completion everywhere on my map, I have 100% completion in WvW also.

I was told dungeons dont count?

What am I missing?

Simple fact that Anet can’t please everyone, you go into a dungeon and try get 5 people to agree on something, then think how impossible it is to please over 3 million people.

I don’t know man, I don’t agree with you but this thread is not about ascended. I do agree that it kind of forces some work you might not want to do (I didn’t mind it, but there are others who hate fractals) in order to be on literal “even ground” with other players. I feel it doesn’t matter because I can slay people in blues in WvW if I wanted, but I don’t like the idea of it. I probably don’t mind provided they don’t make it too rediculous to get.

Anyway this is not one of the many ascended threads you see everywhere, let’s keep it on topic.

I’m just saying play the game how you ENJOY the game, don’t force yourself to grind things you don’t like, don’t set yourself a goal that you know you’re going to hate doing.

I personally don’t like PvP so I would never set myself any goal that requires me to grind PvP.

This game was supposed to break this mold, and it comes pretty close, but the 11/15 patch sort of messed this up by introducing DR bugs and ascended gear that requires ludicrous amounts of T6 mats.

This is so FALSE, one item the back piece requires a high amount of mats, only if you want to infuse it, and more if you want it to glow. Rings drop and can be infused in the forge from mats that also drop in the fractals.
