0/1 Daily Category Complete (tier 1 of 5) so maybe 5 days??

Basically they putting a minimum time limit on completion of the monthly, no matter how fast you do the first 3 monthly’s there is no way of rushing this one :P

I agree with your points about relics and such being useless at the moment, but the first reply pretty much sums up the reason for less posts on gw2lfg.com

I like the new changes to the fractals, as in respawn when out of combat and reconnections. Made the fractals even easier now upto 40+ when agony starts being a pain.

If people don’t know what these terms mean, they should not use them when advertising.
He came across as some really low level player trying to hitch an easy ride with experienced players to me :P

p.s. found an experienced group and done fast level 10, about 45 minutes (7200 karma) not bad + cores and a few rares.

Just though to pass some time i would go back and do level 10 daily, see what the karma rewards are like. (currently level 35).

after that i get no reply or inv. Maybe my version of experienced differs to others? was i wrong to expect experienced fractal players to know what +30ar means?

I havent seen that bug since the patch a while back, but that fractal is still bugged at times, the fire and wind on stairs can be completely random sometimes, hammer goes missing when players are knocked off carrying it, cages trap you and once i seen the boss trapped in one (was fun).

Well I don’t know what dungeons are like for new players or lower gear because I went back after getting exotic/ascended gear to complete all dungeons for the reward.

I’m currently level 35 in fractals and have no problem there, but when I did CoE path 2 for the first time yesterday, almost everything one-shot me with 25k HP, AOE circles are way too many, dodge doesn’t recharge quick enough.

I would class myself as an above average gamer (based on how much time I put in) but I honestly did find that dungeon a challenge with full exotic/ascended gear. Once I got into knowing what I could and could not stand in, it was better but still hard work

I can only image what these dungeons are like for newbies with green/yellow gear and lack of experience, and lack of people willing to learn them.

@shaktiboi i agree it’s pretty simple play, like you I can rez players easy, even easier if using spykits, guess some people just aren’t as good as they think they are :P

Lost count of how many times I’ve run into melee range and tanked a boss or used spykit standing on the boss to revive these great heavies :P

I think all fractals are easy with pugs except Volcano. 2nd part at higher levels is just stupid how fast they come at you before you can take down the shield, and the boss without communication or good players is hard.

I’m sorry but this just goes to show how up them self’s some guards and warriors are, I’m a mesmer and I see these so called super guards and warriors go down time and time again on Volcano because they think a shield will protect them from everything and forget how the boss works, that’s if they even know what a shield is, believe me some don’t.

Not all heavy class players are great, I’ve done fractals at high levels with all ranged light/medium and in faster time than a mostly heavy group. Did one the other day with 3 mesmers (lots of alts and time warp, very fast fractals) but i wouldn’t go in a group looking for only mesmers :P

Point is every class has its own way of contributing to different situations. A balanced group of classes works just fine.

Let’s see – apparently only “KIDS” do this. I’m in my 40s – I’d have done it if I’d thought of it. Kudos to those smart enough to come up with a creative way to meet this particular daily. Sorry but there is nothing smart about it at all, it’s a solution only someone with very low IQ would come up with, any normal player would have completed the rezzing daily less than a hour with NORMAL playing.

As for killing NPC so that they can rez them, why should people not complete let say guard events because one person wants the NPC dead, i would protect him if that was me.

This is what I mean by KIDS, this was yesterday in Orr, so yes it does affect others when these players start spamming crap, its rude and shows there age.

I had someone yell at me because I defended an NPC he was farming for “Healer”. That was pretty disheartening.

Personally i would of told him not so politely to go jump of a bridge and revive himself :P

Some good loot drops from mobs too, depends on which fractals you get really, dredge is probably the best loot fractal.

For instance today I did lvl 26 with pug group, took maybe 1 hour 20 minutes, I got 1 charged lodestone, some cores and bits from chests, but i got 1 exotic, 6 rares and almost maxed out my inventory with blues/greens.

Made 8g of the stones/cores/exotics and rares alone, i usually breakdown or forge the rest and put mats in collectables.

EDITED: And I can honestly say I dont use any MF gear, i will use MF food on some mobs thou.

Really is worth the time spent once you get to 20+

Not talking about you in person, I’m sure it was too tempting to pass up, but it just goes to show the mentality of the KIDS playing the game today.

It’s one of the easiest daily’s to do EVER, go rez some NPC’s or just go in almost any dungeon or events and by the end you will have 10 revives.

Most of the new daily’s can be done by just playing normal, why do people have to complete them in a way that makes them hard work, this is why people complain about so called grind, just play!!! :P

even with that calculation how much per hour can you make in AC or CoF? Can you make 4-5g per hour, which is easy done in fractals with agood group. As much as MF is frounded upon most of the money made in fractals is from loot, so the MF utility would be better.

hmm worth making a full +15% karma set just for that reason :P, i read somewhere that it was possible to forge other stuff like rings to use utility infusions too, but cant find it now

Honestly, the best way is to save up jugs of karma and then use ice cream+ guild banner+ guild buff+ booster for 175% karma and open them all.

Now there’s also an infusion that gives +15% karma if you want to use that as well, but you can only get it and the item you can add it to with laurels.

does said +15% ascended infusions give +15% more karma from jugs?

I can understand your points, and yes it is fun. Im not talking about mega rewards or masses of loot, but something better for your hard work, better rewards for team work and doing the stuff your supposed to be doing would be nice.

I’m guessing this has been said before but, I’m a very casual WvW player, i mean i probably pop in for a few hours once or twice a week if i feel like it.

I’m more a PvE’er, but anyways its hard work in WvW, was going for like 2 hours straight just now, taking over stuff, fighting players, well I guess you know how WvW works.

Get back to LA and look at my loot, I thought I’d been hacked lol. It’s pitiful.

Why is the loot so bad in WvW, 2 hours in fractals I can make upto 10g in loot. 2 hours in WvW I probably made 10s ???

I hold my hands up to the hard core WvW and PvP players because you guys must love what you do!!

alot of negative comments, and yes i have my rants at some of the bugs etc, but have any of you every tried writing even simple code, debugging or anything like that.

No game will ever be perfect and bug free, its not as simple as changing a few numbers .

one in LA near portals, look for the “laurel” symbol on your map.

say “you reached out to heal an ally” guess its reviving or healing a downed player or npc

Iv never seen anyone wipe or find maw hard??? If we are talking about agony, isnt agony still a problem in the normal part of 50+

Sorry but I don’t agree with your point of view regarding playing with others, maybe some people need to Google MMO before purchasing, if you don’t play well with others buy offline games like Oblivion and such.

Not trying to be nasty but this is a multiplayer game, designed to be played with OTHERS

Now, I see spawns of threads that the game has a grind – from Legendary Items, to Ascended to the latest one: Dailies.

Main question:
Now, discarding those – what else do you do that is “not a grind”?

I mean, I don’t want to sound elitist, but grind cannot be avoided entirely on a MMORPG. It can be minimized – and compared to most MMORPG’s I played, GW2 has the least amount of grind.

What I am saying is, you are not required to have a Legendary, nor run FoTM to have Ascended, nor complete the Dailies. It’s all up to you if you to do/get them.

And lastly, though grind has a definitive term in a dictionary, I still feel it is subjective to a person’s perspective. A person who likes what he/she does will not feel a grind, but to someone (note: this is my personal view, please, don’t flame) who is lazy and/or feels like everything should be obtained easily whenever he/she wants it (commonly called “entitled”) will feel the grind – simply because he/she doesn’t want to work “hard” for it.

Just my 2 cents.

well i think we should agree to disagree on this, wasting 10 minutes or wiping for something out of your control, is a bug in my opinion. :P

But well thats just one of many small problems with fractals that have not been fixed.

Your miss reading my post, i said we didn’t look the time before. This time we looked but it was not anywhere to be seen, and the player didn’t fall to the lower level he died off map this time.

Even if it was on the lower level they should not expect you to waste 10 minutes running to the bottom and back its ridicules, if not a bug its very POOR design.

way too much info to read in that format lol, too tired, but most people LOVE the dredge for the amount a dredge loot mobs dropped, no need to nerf the only good thing about the fractal :P.

edited: actually want to say, i was harsh by saying that the loot was the only good thing about the dredge fractal, because the dredge fractal is one of the best fractals in my opinion.

i think its a waste but who am i to say, its there gold.

they fixed many more exploits than the ones youve listed, and spykits are not bugs or exploits, they are in the game to be use.

I see people with 35ar already, cost of around 185g on TP, for the sake of a few days wait with dailys.
