Was wondering the same thing, tech support seems lacking on this game. I submitted my initial ticket over one week ago, and again 3 days ago. But still getting no reply from them.

Just received this fake email from Anet, knew it was fake as iv not played GW in a while and have not tried to sell my account.

Whatever is causing this problem for everyone can be fixed by reversing whatever they changed a few patches ago, kitten get someone in charge that had some brains. If you can fix it, just revert back to the old version?

Anet have how many programmers, employees? Create a team of bug fixers that sort this sort of problem ASAP, instead your team is no doubt sorting bugs with the kitten dragon bash?

OK that might take preference as it effects the majority over the minority, but we are still here!!!

this is getting annoying, haven’t been able to go into a dungeon for about a week now, instant lag as soon as I get into any kind of combat. BTW.

Resource monitor whilst I’m having these problems and nothing is above 50% usage.

All drivers up-to-date, defragged, turned off all anti-virus/firewall. tried everything.

Apparently there are rather widespread graphics card issues surrounding the most recent patch, which most likely involves the accidental introduction of a GPU memory leak. I imagine that Anet are not actually ignoring us, but are busy combing through the 70 billion crash reports they’ve likely been sent.

The best option currently is to be patient, have faith that they’ll release a patch soon, and if you’re having BSOD errors or client crashing errors, try to not run the game too often. Repeated crashes can cause permanent damage to your system’s hardware.

It’s an unfortunate state of affairs, but it’s hardly unexpected for the occasional break-everything-in-the-game patch to come around.

That maybe true, but it would be nice to get some sort of reply from Anet, but as usually we are a minority, stuff us.

its not just you, lots of people are getting this irritating lag issue since a few days ago, yet Anet seem to be ignoring us.

Can confirm since a few days ago I’ve had lag when in dungeons/fractals. it got so bad I cant play. 1 second pauses every few seconds, its so annoying.

Never had lag problems like this before, had the same problem just in a fractal, had to leave the group which I hate doing, it was for there own good.

went to pingtest.net, my internet was grade A with 0% packet loss, 14ms ping and 1% jitter. Basically perfect, I run the test several times and no problems.

Something has changed in one of the past few patches. please fix asap.

PS. for me im only getting this in instances, not in normal world.

Routine maintenance my back side, just been in worse fractal of my life after patch, i’v done over 1000 fractals and never had 2 people Dc at same time, let alone this happen 4-5 times in one run, random people each time.

Sort this out Anet,

its not just login issues, TP down, lag, DCs at the moment if your lucky to be ingame already

some guildies cant log in, TP down for some, lots of lag and DC’s

It was a bug, you could skip stuff and loot while in combat…

These chests are supposed to be “Fight this monster(s) and loot the chest”.

Really I didnt know that, though it was just part of the game. I learned it during the Mad Kings Clock Tower event, when timing and speed was priority

dont know but i done 2 fractals today, both low for my lvl and I been one shot killed by everything that many times im like wt*. Its like im playing with no armour.

Something smells fishy to me, the usually stealth nerfs.

Well I really like some of the updates and new stuff, alot of work has been put into this.

Not saying the forward thinking was great but its work in progress. Still in there and give them a chance.

Just got 2 of the new fractal rings for fractal relics, got myself 2 simple infusions, got my mist essence stuff out the bank.

Runs on over to the forge to find the new rings i just purchased don’t even show up.

Nicely though out plan Anet!!!!

Iv had this twice in past 2 days, cant connect right now. above fix almost worked, got me logged back in but its like im not really connected, cant type, port or anything.

This boss is way OP compared to all the others, one weak link on this boss can wipe you every time, I don’t run fractals 30+ anymore because I pug groups and 90% can’t beat this boss.

You got so many things in play on this boss its a joke and anyone takes your life down.

Can’t stand still.
Flame arrow that cause you to explode.
AOE raining fire (OP)
Burning lava everywhere.

During grubs you have all of the above plus

Can’t really start to defend your self until the bosses bubble is down, at this point 1 or 2 members are already on the floor.
Being stunned over and over but grubs
Obviously the grubs them self’s.

Its a joke, it could be a nice fight if it was toned down in line with the other bosses at the same level fractal.

PROBLEM SOLVED, the daily’s were causing my problems lmao. This might be one to keep in mind when your crafting away at your daily. I been using them in crafting without knowing, was just refining any 10 random things which just happen to include the above missing items.

Mod can archive this for others to read or delete it !.

I’m having a weird little problem that’s bugging me.

Little background first, basically I’m saving up mats for my bifrost, I have them in one section of my bank, I even put the collectable there too so it’s all in one place and I can see what I still need.

Recently I keep getting a space appear in my bank, and I’m like WT*? Am I being hacked, but I also keep a list on note pad of what mats I still need so It’s been easy to pinpoint what’s missing, well it’s probably the lowest value item in there “Piles of Incandescent Dust”.

I’m not sure if they are going missing or I’m selling them somehow, but I’m under the impression you can only sell things from your inventory and not directly from your bank. The first few times this happened I thought it was just me, but it’s been 3 times now, same item gone.

I’m going to keep a closer eye on this and find out what’s happening, but I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar??

I am a lvl 80 thief full glass canon(power,prec.,% crit. dmg). I use d/d,p/p,sb. I swap them depending on each zone in each fractals. I also change my skills and traits depending on the zone and not on the weapon i am currently using(most of the time).

This pretty much is how people should play there class, changing and evolving on the go.

Unfortunately a lot of pug groups are inpatient and don’t give people time to change anything. I personally change armour, weapons, nourishment and utilities for each fractal. I don’t bother so much with traits because your limited to what you can actually change, It would be great if this limit would be lifted and you could save builds for quick selection.

I’ve only every seen classism on two occasions and both times where very recent, in Arah the other day one guy refused to play with a ranger on our team, said something along the lines of Ranger=No DPS so we kicked him (not the ranger), we completed the dungeon fine. A couple of days ago I joined a pug group and a THIEF joined after me, straight away kick appeared next to the thief and he was gone, so I asked why he was kicked and someone replied I don’t want a thief in my team, so basically I said good-bye and left also.

I would take you on my fractal run any day instead of an unskilled guardian, did level 26 yesterday and wiped over and over on valcano end boss, why?

Because the guardian was either too low AR or had a glasss hammer build. Our group was Me (mesmer), a thief, 2 warriors and a guard.

We wiped over and over, and guess what it was the guardain down first followed by the warriors, me and the thief went down last each time. A few times the guardian could not even stay on his feet from the very first AOE fire hit, he went down countless times even before the first stage of grubs.

The reason i think he had a glass hammer build is because the groups overall DPS was probably the best iv ever seen in fractals, so no complaints there. But they just could not take a hit.

I would take any experienced player of any class over a clueless guard or warrior any day.

Glass hammer builds may work in other dungeons but not in some fractals.

Just pugged a level 10 speed run and loot was a lot better than the 28 I just did, from chest I got Charged core (1g -27s) + Onyx Core (72s) + 3 rares and 1 rare from mystic forge (greens in), a little bit of luck with salvaging I got 7 globs of ectoplasm worth 2g – 35s. Other mats probably worth about 50s.

So that lower run which took about 1 hour earned me equivalent to 4g+, and chest loot was better too, others had exotics in the group as well.

Try running a lower level pug see what you get??

Firstly let me say, I just did level 28 and I probably had the worse loot in ages, typical when I wanted to prove a point, only made around 1g – 20s which by normal standard Is very very poor, I was making 5g yesterday :P.

But anyways, I think I actually do see your point guys, I’ve not actually noticed because I rarely look at loot until I get back to LA and overall my loot is usually very nice, I had Charged Lodestone yesterday worth 3g+ plus exotics and lots of rares.

That being said I’m only getting as a rule blues/greens from the actual chest with the odd rare or cores lately, so maybe they have nerfed the chest loot but overall loot is still great.

Others in my group had plenty of cores and an exotic from chests thou so I don’t know, verdict is still open.

Going to run 10-18 for daily chest see what I get then :P post later.

Not on gear no, on mobs I use MF food, on boss i use my normal nurishment

what level fractals are you guys running?

mate im being serious, i made 18g yesterday on 3 runs, i dont really care if you believe me or not, thats your problem. Do do them, in the mean time i will make a killing TP.

Loot is just fine, but like i say in last post i will screenshot my loot next run

Dredge Ice boss since patch at lvl 30+ is really hard now when pugging, way too much AOE ice, that much in fact you cant always double-roll out of it, if you still got 2 dodge charges left that is.

Also the changes that you can no long pull the boss out of the room where all the mobs spawn just made the dungeon even longer, people just pull the mobs out instead, go figure!

Anyway they truned a fractal I onced liked (especially for loot) into one i cant stand anymore, long and stupid hard if you get ice. They couldnt think of anything original so we just make them dodge more!!

Hi guys, I’ve decided to start working towards getting the Bifrost, but I have a couple of questions.

A, Does this only come with one set of stats, Pow-Tough-Vit ??? – I have condition damaged build
B, Can I transmute this with stats I want, and will it still retain its Legendary status after transmuting?
C, Will the stats be raised in the future, thous by transmuting I’m kind of losing out?

Any info would be welcome.

I know some of you don’t like this new feature taking up space in the top right of your screen, but I like it.

Improvements thou,

A, Ability to turn it off if you wish!!
B, Option for it to display any achievement of your choice, i.e. anything from your Achievements tab
