Do not bother. We have a single powerful build right now and i will let you guess what will happen to it in 2-3 patches. After spirit rangers are nerfed you will be left spamming your Longbow hitting target once with every 5 attacks.

Okay lets see… you get one exotic drop ~200h. Ascended is ‘rarer’ than exotic and costs waaaaay more to craft so if the chance of an exotic drop is 0.03%, chance of an ascended dropping will take you~~~~~ well, one should drop by 2015.

Someone asked if there’ll be other SPvP types such as assault, capture the flag, etc.
Colin answered that they want to make SPvP easily watchable so that you can see the score, know who’s winning, etc. He ended it by saying adding different modes isn’t out of the question, aka one day it might be added. (all of what he said has been said before)
The first part of his answer didn’t really make sense, since capture the flag and assault are easily watchable? If you have no clue what you’re looking at, those two are much easier to watch imo.
he mentioned how easily its actually watcheable but never mention how boring it is to watch conquest mode in action. Do i want to watch a person stand in a circle and move to another circle? Go play tic tac toe wtf.

People have been asking for things like player housing, new races/skills, gvg, better armor choices, more WvW updates, polymock, precursor crafting/scavenger hunt, new legendaries, guild halls, and other things far more than just making Tequatl behave slightly differently.
Some of these things are already in the game. Others aren’t as feasible right now and resources are probably better spent elsewhere.
New races will require their own personal story additions.
GvG will really just be sPvP but between players from different guilds.
There will be new skills added to the game.
I’m not sure what you mean by better armor choices but there are new runes, lots of new skins, and Ascended armor coming up.
There’s been a number of WvW updates. They’re also bringing new features in and bringing the orbs back somehow.
Precursor crafting will likely appear in some future update after everyone’s crafted their Ascended weapons.

Then it’s coming, eventually. What else do you want? Them to release content at the whims of people who request it? People seem to forget that this isn’t their game, it’s ANets. I’m pretty sure ANet has a schedule of content with when it’s suppose to go live. Why isn’t it out “NAO?!?!!?!”, because they’re working on other things they think is important or has more support.
They produce the game, FOR US. They don’t make the game for themselves to just gawk at. If they aren’t listening to their target audience, they are doing it wrong.

Nice, been waiting all year for this specifically. My only concern is the reach of the LFG system. Is it zone-wide, server-wide, region-wide (NA/EU)? I would expect at least server-wide, but the example shown in the screenshot only lists Sparkfly events? And if it does not reach all of NA or EU, then Gw2LFG will still be relevant for finding dungeons (unfortunately…).
@Nuka Cola, I think there are people out there who are interested in playing parts of the game for more than just loot…you know, for “fun”. This will help them find like-minded players to do things that are harder to find people for.

You can open different tabs that are looking for groups for everything.
And you’re lfg for other things that are dungeons very often? yeaaaaah, thought so.
Just because you don’t doesn’t mean that others do or don’t. I’ve seen on several occasions people looking to map complete, run event chains, do temples, etc.
Map completion is a great idea and didn’t think of that. i don’t really see this happening with event chains (who does that these days?) and the only reason to do temples is for obi shards which i guess is very true, that’s about it.

People who say WvW hasn’t been getting attention are forgetting about WXP and the WvW skills that come along with it. People who ask for updates to sPvP seem to forget that they’ve added three new maps along with all the features like spectator, solo queue, private arenas, etc. People who ask for better champion loot got what they wanted too, much to the chagrin of the non-farming players.
More importantly, people who have been asking for a LFG tool are getting exactly that. It is coming in the update after Super Adventure Box. The best part about it is that it’s not limited to dungeons only. You can use it to find players for open world events or to just group up for whatever reason. I think it’s time we stopped pretending that there have been no changes made to the game.

I don’t know where you’ve been but I do believe that at the very least someone if not everyone wants a LFG tool. They’re bringing that into the game with the update after Super Adventure Box. On that note, I’m sure a lot of people wanted a lot of those new sPvP features they implemented. I’m sure a lot of people wanted guild missions, the account wallet, new fractals, etc. There’s definitely people that don’t want this stuff for some reason but I wouldn’t say no one wants them.

Guild missions are more repetitive and boring than Champ farming and this should tell you a lot. new fractals? Where? I don’t see any. Do i live in China? Did i payed $60 for the game? I expect things like that to be there from day one because i payed $60 for a complete game and not pre-alpha testing.

If the game is half as bad as you’ve made it out to be over the last ten months, then I can’t help but wonder why you’re sticking around. Some of us complain about what Guild Wars 2 was, some complain about what it’s becoming. You’re the only person I’ve seen complaining nonstop from the beginning until now.
If you’re that unsatisfied with the game, then why not look elsewhere for one you might actually enjoy? I can think of a few reasons, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and let you answer the question for yourself.

They did say you can get special Ascended Weapons out of this as well as a Tequatl mini. So it’s not just rares possible. Plus it requires coordination beyond mindlessly hacking at a dragon’s toe.
That “special” ascended weapon will have a glowing orb on the handle of the weapon as on the new Eternity,,,,,, mark my words it’ll be something extremely simplistic and stupid.

Im watching the stream and this looks dumb as hell. Its exactly what we’ve had since game was released but this time around its more of a chore that takes even longer to spam your autos. They already talk about teq achievements as if its something that will increase your fun while auto attacking and rezing for 30 minutes.

Speculation says it might be a revamped Tequatl (plus maybe other world bosses?) which might have some of the “invasion event” elements in it.
that would be the most disappointing reveal since…….. since game was released. Why the hell would you need pax to announced something as boring? Just drop a nuke on those boring stationary bosses and build something new that has more than 1 and a half animation…
They are also adding a giant Nuka Cola Quantum world boss. As you damage the giant bottle AoE leaks start popping out of it. If you stand in the AoE for more than 2 seconds your character is permanently transformed into a mutant and will proceed to be made fun of by passing by asura.
I think dat boss would be too hardcore and its not disappointing the casual crowd anet wants! I would fight that boss tho, knowing its more powerful and rare than im.

So, it looks like ascended gear is a very rare drop, when you do get it from X place, you get a chest in which you can chose any ascended weapons you want. Why can’t we have the exact same system with fractal weapons? In Maw’s chest you get a Fractal chest, open it and chose the fractal weapon of you liking. No one will be stuck with weapons he/she will never use.

I don’t think mez should be getting any buffs. I can bet you that when current meta is gone/changed mesmers will be the primary class receiving nerfs after nerfs (damage wise) with very minor and not even worth mentioning buffs to things people don’t care nor will ever use. Mesmers are strong but have two major weaknesses, Mobility (not combat mobility mind you) and condi removal. im perfectly fine with that. If these two problems are gone you can be sure the class will be nerfed to oblivion and back then to oblivion AGAIN.
