i stopped doing fractals about a month ago cuz i have all fractal weapons needed for my main. Now im forced to do boring dragons…

Just a little curious, I mean, nobody pays us to play (unless you work on a gaming magazine/website or in game development/testing, that is), nobody forces us to play… why still playing something you find boring instead of just going to any other MMO or game you might have fun in?

…absolutely fantastic. The amount of dedication, passion and soul put into this game is without parallel to anything available in the industry right now. ArenaNet is still pumping out updates, listening to community feedback and making lots of positive changes that have really done a great job in improving the game.
Even the gem store has managed to stay consumer friendly and unimposing. If mistakes are made, the staff have no quarrel rectifying it in quick order. Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the direction Guild Wars 2 continues to take. Keep up the amazing work.

I just watched some footage and I really can’t see anything special about it, to be honest.
if that kind of art style and graphics isn’t impressive to you but LS in gw2 is…. i dunno dude. I bet you didn’t even knew about this game lol one of the most hyped games of next year. This is what i meant by saying mmo players know nothing else but the mmo they’re currently playing and WoW. Destiny will be like Borderlands 2 but mmo’ish. Mouse targeting 3rd person shooter gameplay… It’s “done” for me before it even hits the shelves. I’ll watch with interest, but I hate that control scheme with a passion.
Its not on pc so not mouse targeting and is a first person shooter, not 3rd person lol.

LS would be fine if the content would stay and not be taken away 2 weeks later. It’s bad for new players cause they end the main content and then realize that soo many things happened before then started playing and now there are 2 more dragons dead, and they didn’t even have opportunity to fight them.
No, LS wouldn’t be fine, far from fine, 1 million years behind being close to acceptable fine. I want new regions, new dungeons, new weapons/skills, dungeons with more than 5 ppl… LS brings me two things, achievements i don’t give a flying ^%$% about and NPC’s to which you wp across the map, talk to them and enjoy an extremely poorly done and unskippable cutsceen. If this is what they’re calling “content worth of an expansion” then when an expansion is released, its better cost 50 cents.

GW2 needs an expansion more than any games released in the last 5 years.
Agreed but when should they release it? Do you think a good time would be Spring 2014 when games like ESO, NCSoft’ own WildStar and games like Destiny are released? Not to mention a WoW expansion.
Seems like it is a very saturated time to release any type of MMO.
Spring 2014 is when this should be released or games like Destiny will eat a big portion of gw2 population and then Wildstar and the rest. I for sure will be out of gw2 when Destiny is released if its going as slow as its going now. If they announce an expansion for Fall 2014 that would be waaaaaaaaay too late and its not with their crappy LS they’ll be keeping players because their current “content worth of an expansion” has zero substance to it, nothing is added that makes you log in daily or even weekly

i think i got what they’ll be doing in the future. Every armor added to gem store will look good and how in game armors should look. Every armor (be happy to received more than one set per year) added in game that is acquired by just playing the game will look fugly to the point of everyone just not bothering or if its higher tiers ppl will just transmute it which leads them yet again in gem store… anet is not better than ea these days i swear

Why did it take them 2 weeks to realise something people knew since new tequila first died? So much time and kills wasted with kitten loots and now they upgrade it when i cant force myself to even look at it anymore.

i know armor and not weapon but look at the weapon textures up close… its ps2 quality. The shape of weapons themselves (outside pistol) is incredibly bad looking.

I don’t mind paying an NPC a few silver, that’s just a typical MMO gold sink (and not a particularly egregious one, either, especially compared to the manuals).

they only look really bad if you use the whole set – there are some pretty nice individual pieces in there.
it will probably cost you over 300g to craft one set… every piece should be stellar and even thinking about transmuting them into old skins we have for a year should be a crime but nope, all look ugly. Not surprising tho, just look at ascended weapons

spoiled? spoiled by what exactly? you get spoiled when you receive good amount of free and high quality content, then that dev releases an expansion for $40, you buy it and even tho the quality is there, you are unhappy because you’ve been receiving this kind of quality for free but now had to pay for it… Anet doesn’t release quality free content, anet releases free content that does nothing else but lure you to their gem store and the ‘quality’ in their free content isn’t something known to them very well. No one is spoiled with their bs festivals and kiddy/fluffy additions, more like annoyed to the point of asking themselves if this thing will ever change or this is the future of gw2 until servers shut down. Spoiled—— i’m so spoiled for receiving content that makes me vote for a freaking npc in a video game that gives me zero advantages worth mentioning or an addition of 3 trillion more Hp to one dragon… spoiled, don’t make me laugh with your spoiling thingy.

90 sec is definitly too much. And I would like to see an increase of the dura to 3. However it can applied multiple times at the same target but does not stack, remember!
Our cloak elite however should recive also a buff in duration … Or something else, like boons or whatever. Its just meh for an elite :/
MI is meh but at the same time its the most used elite in anything pvp involved. They can add boons to it or other stuff but i’d prefer it to be simple such as 60sec CD, 5sec stealth, 10sec aegis on use and 1/4 activation time. Now that would be a great elite.

Things like Blink needs a 10 sec CD or less. I really don’t understand why a skill that just acts as an extra dodge/catching up to party members needs a whooping 30 seconds CD.
They should just improve pet AIs to allow them to get away from AoEs.

Chill slows down your skill CD. Can some1 please tell me why the f it doesn’t slow down initiatives regen when thieves have no CD outside of utilities/elite? Chill should be applied to initiatives regen and that’s a no brainer. Its kinda funny how devs ignored this for 13 months and some1 needs to point that out on a forum for them to even notice…

i came here expecting some1 to qq about mesmers and this wasn’t the case, impressive. I gotta say one thing i do not compute since game’s release. Why the adrenaline bar isn’t emptied when warrior’s attack is missed or blocked (the F1 attack that is)? We all know how gw2 is aiming for casual friendlyness n all but wtf is up with this? This is a small but important little thing that needs to be changed pronto.

who the f cares about glory? At least getting a character to 80 by playing spvp would be useful enough for wvw. i for sure would’ve build a warrior to troll with killshot spams but no way in hell im leveling up another character by crafting garbage.
