BG has the most EU coverage. They have several guilds that raid during this timezone.

That is just simply not true.
BG has two EU guilds, RK which is very small and only seem to run a couple hours every so often and HB, who are a pretty great guild but small-ish in numbers and extending themselves into NA TZ a lot (correct me if I’m wrong Smokee). There’s also an old small guild called BAM with a few EU members.

JQ on the other hand actually have numerous EU based guilds (and continually recruiting/buying more from EU servers, why I don’t know) along with their SEA groups running late into early EU and their NA running early into late EU – which more or less gives them complete dominance a lot of the time in EU TZ and they blob around a lot during EU.

SoR is a dead server, a lot of their guilds have left for other lower tiers NA, moved back to EU or joined JQ. What’s left on SoR still blobs in EU, mostly ball up and wait for fights where they vastly outnumber opponents – if they’re equally matched or they don’t vastly outnumber, they way point out and float to another BL or go stomp all over the few pugs running in EB.

So there is actually no real EU coverage on NA servers any more, other than like I said above, that’s about it. Anyone tells you different, they’re lying.

Oh and soon as any EU guild does decide to transfer to BG to help them out trying to deal with massive PVD blobs from JQ and SoR, what usually happens is that JQ and SoR will stop fighting and just take a break during EU TZ then complain a lot on forums about BG being stacked.
Even though as I’ve said, there is barely even a slight EU presence on BG any more and BG are always up against massive blobs from JQ mostly during EU TZ.

The only way to sort this out is if numerous decent WvW EU guilds transfer to multiple NA servers, so everyone has decent competition from actual EU based guilds on a regular basis.
I’d suggest BG, TC and SoS rather than Sor and JQ, SoR is dead and JQ have more than enough EU coverage with all their pve’ers karma training all the time.

The other alternative, is what you don’t want anyway, and that is to move back to EU but outside of EU prime, every single EU server is dead in WvW, apart from some French Canadians playing on the French servers and going around PVD’ing the whole night + a handful of night cappers on a few other EU servers.

Merge them as one tbh, don’t see why not. Would at least spice things up a little and the lag is a non issue, sure our EU match-up this week (Gunnars/Jade Sea/Deso) is hosted on Yak’s Bend, an NA server.

We have one EU guild lol. SR is 15 people. The rest are pug’s who happen to play EU timezones they aren’t represenative of guilds. That would be like saying 5 SF is the equivalent of another EU guild for JQ. Stop with the propaganda its quite sad.

SOR still has the strongest NA (albeit inconsistent at times) and it is East coast based so its more common to see NA players logged on during EU timezone so SOR is still an option but moving to SOR with their implosion is still a bit of a worrying move because nobody knows how much more they will lose.

JQ doesn’t regularly outscore anyone in EU this was what happened for one week it does not make it true as illustrated by the fact BG still ticked 300+ most of last week when it got to mid EU prime. If your looking for an EU guild/crew to run with you could try JQ or SoR both have a small EU guild or two out there.

Sad as it may be that he gets the attention hopefully Anet does something to stop this because it is causing some of their paying customers to get fed up and stop playing which hurts their bottom line and it hurts the server that they left as well. It’s frustrating and needs to be taken care of. If it was just one or two misplaced items it would be different but 50+ in places that can’t hit anything is just ridiculous and harassment at its finest.

JQ and SoR ts are run by the same dude, but not on the same server. For the record. JQ’s ts has been DDOS’d daily for about the last 6 weeks, usually during important pushes.

Yep. Same dude, different servers. He(us) aren’t idiots. We know when it’s a DDOS. Especially when an attack wipes 70 Terabytes(that’s right, 70 TB. A DDOS attack on our TS wiped 70TB of DATA from the provider.) of DATA and forces the TS to close for over a week. That was a very costly and annoying, not to mention downright low act. It’s a game, that’s fine and people can have competition, but seriously when you’re attacking providers simply because they provide TS for us, it’s pathetic.

On a personal level I myself and the majority of SF have been in sPvP since Saturday morning when we are active. We dislike a constant Karma train and it’s garbage that all of these players are such glory hounds for their acheivements that it wrecks my favorite part of the game. I would prefer to have my open field fights, call proper tactics against anyone. I have members disgusted at how this matchup is turning out including myself.

If you want your kitten WvW XP kittenin’ earn it. Instead we have 3 servers with a bunch of players that don’t know what they are doing kitten ing in circles jerking each other off, figuring out how to run through portals of keeps and towers that are not their color.

I don’t think we’ve ever thought so much alike in a given week its sort of scary to be honest. But I agree it should be earned but given how league’s are implemented I can’t blame those who are organizing these as they just want to get the people wanting their flavor of the month through the maps as quick as possible.

Nobody really has the force to contend with ZDs during the time slot they play. Unfortunately for them, they will get bored rather quickly unless they start staying up really late to play with IRON/NA. Maybe them coming over will attract more EU to the NA servers. I doubt it though.

Based on what people have told me the only groups that can match ZDs time slot or come close to it are either German guilds or other russian guilds.

RG actually came to JQ twice. The first time was around the time that SoS and BG were still near the top with JQ I believe. VoTF and RG actually had a GvG on NA which was what sparked most of the NA interest in GvG. This was right around the time free transfers were coming to an end as well.

It’s cool it was a long time ago HB and RG also had a GvG I believe. Those were some epic battles for sure. I must say though RG vs VoTF was one of the craziest things I personally saw and they ran some very polar opposite styles with VoTF using zerker gear while RG was one of the first to adopt PTV.

Let me just say that there isn’t a universe I’d want to reside in if it had been JQ that had picked up ZD. Hell to the no. There would be enough crying to make people start pairing up and looking for an ark. I’m good with it being BG. No, we don’t have giant EU coverage to compete (though I do love our SR and TOHU folks!), but we never really have and we’ve done OK so far

JQ was against two servers who didn’t really have EU coverage at the time. Keep in mind pre-SoS no Tier 1 server had an EU guild.

I know JQ may have still something to say about it but guys ZD’s was the last guild i expected to move away from it’s native SFR that it has passionately fought a very long time for that server, the EU arms race and leagues have brought many issues to long established and organised guilds getting to play the game as a guild and the way they want to.

There are still guilds out there who would consider moving to NA the only thing holding them back is not knowing what to expect i.e wither they will have opponents to fight and or they can be a noticeable contribution to your community.

For instance if my guild came here only to find itself facing random roamers and paper keeps & towers regularly with no defenders we would be on the next boat home.

Quite the opposite we face HB,COIN, FOO, ZD’s and many more both similar numbers and far superior and tier 3 keeps and towers with 10+ AC and trebs inside if people think EU time on BG,SOR and JQ is pve door you are greatly mistaken everyone fights hard for what they gain during that time.

I was literally in shock for about twenty mins when I heard they left. Shifty came to our thread asking why we didn’t try to get them. It caught everyone off guard honestly.

Classic Nuked … consumed with this niggling fear that JQ’s server stacking and cruise control Season 1 schedule might not be enough.

And the logic ….

BG was monstered by SoR and TC’s strong showing in the first 48 hours, but has had 18 odd hours of good PPT. The match is currently about 7K apart.

At the same time JQ is ticking +515 and is 100K ahead after three days.

Then again, facts and context have never been his strong suit.

Your right JQ is doing worse than BG or SOR would be at this point. None of our major guilds have been into WvW since reset night as it was the only night the numbers were semi even. The rest is people trying to get achievements done for the seasons.

We are trying our darndest to get EU just hard when you don’t have large EU guilds. JQ has SR and Tohu which field less combined than IRON or ZD’s do. This makes it a little harder to find EU guilds for JQ but we are definitely trying.
