LOL! That is just rich coming from a JQ when they clearly created the most stacked server in the history of GW2. I was on SoS when you guys recruited like there was no tomorrow.
The intensity of tier 1 is like no other, so why would you want to lock it for other people? I myself, just transferred into tier 1 for the fights. Unless you are willing to give up your place in a tier 1 server, don’t post such rubbish. As for skill lag, it is a technical issue which just needs an upgrade of systems. I was worried about skill lag before I transferred in, but now that I am here, it doesn’t bother me much.

Jq has a short memory. T1 is the closest it has EVER been and jq/bg whine because they no longer have cruise control for a victory.

Closest it’s ever been wouldn’t be a widening gap between 2nd and 3rd. So to speak this isn’t close even.

You do realize map caps are at 80 not 100 to start with. Secondly if you truly WANTED these changes to happen you wouldn’t have posted them in World Recruitment because 1) this is a suggestion 2) it belongs in either suggestions or WvW discussion not here. 3) You have stated and its abundantly clear that you want your needs taken care of over other peoples. This is fine and dandy and all but you cant’ say you don’t represent JQ when your openly posting on the forums don’t transfer to JQ. What guild in their right mind wants to transfer to a server if people on the server don’t want them? I recruit because we have guilds in timezones that log in daily and work their kitteng kitten off and have no support but themselves in these timezones and you want to know what they do? Rather than complain oh skill lag oh outmanned oh stacked server. They work on filling those gaps and show up every night to fight. This is why I respect our OCX coverage on JQ and our EU as well. Win lose or draw they show up every god kitten day and give it their best regardless of odds. I never did hear if VoTF and TW ever planned to have their GvG I remember there was talk for quite sometime just curious though given how many times that was brought up and I would love to see it.

You’re right. It’s a tragic oversight.

For the next match, I’ll make sure Ascii titles it as (SoR/(BGJQ) – BG/(SoRJQ) – JQ/(SoRBG)) so it’s accurate.

Actually, JQ doesn’t really complain about 2v1 so the last combination isn’t necessary.

I guess next week we will have to give JQ some JQ/(SoRBG), who knows, maybe their rating will drop below TC’s. I really think that at least for NA, TC would make things more interesting.

Or that sets up multiple ACs in BG’s keep in EB while completely ignored by BG and SoR.
You guys might be able to PvDoor while BG and SoR dish it out, but I have not seen a decent JQ push (specially whitout ACs) all week.

Dear BG, I love our rivalry and wish to continue dishing it out and taking turns at making the other feel enormous pressure at times, but I think we should both hit JQ hard from time to time, or just go for getting them down to 0 ppt. The qq will be much more interesting and contain much less chest thumping on the part of their forum trolls.

I’m really hoping for a DB/TC/JQ matchup next week, that would make things so interesting, how will JQ fair without SoR or BG around to take most of the pressure off their back.

In summary, nobody has been able to knock JQ out of T1 ever, please help. Also SOR, don’t worry, it’s not your fault village idiots now have internet access, and we won’t hold the above poster against you.

The meta, Anet created it when they allowed free transfers from the start of the game.

If Anet had of cared about WvW from day one it would of had random matchups and paid transfers from day uno.

Unfortunately we all know where their care for WvW lies and that is solely on gem sales, other than that glitches occur and are prevalent for weeks before fix, they promise the world and deliver AC buffs… Oil mastery etc…

I’m pretty bored of it so much so I downloaded c9 English to have some pvp fun again while we wait to see how things pan out.

Posts like these solve nothing, I am in solidarity here with Stei, Esqi and other WvWers. The posts solves nothing, offers no real or adequate solutions and just tarnishes JQ’s reputation when it comes to looking for guilds to solve their woes. If you look the match ups aren’t even and it’s noones fault really, SoS was never stacked, neither was SBI or JQ. I look back on my days on SoS and realise how powerful JQ and SBI we’re but it wasn’t because of a multitude of guilds it was SoS’s Oceanic force which prepared and bunkered down for the onslaught of War Machine (Koreans) and FoO (Chinese/Taiwan).

JQ was a much less perfect “Overlord” as it had coverage holes in it’s Oceanic/EU, two timezones which define a tier, being honest these two timezones have the least population across all NA servers and currently BG/SoR have the same Oceanic population while SoR dominates late EU/EST NA.

We’d all love a perfect solution to wvw population issues but this just isn’t the case, everyone talks of balance but will not refuse a guild if they are looking to sure up a timezone where they do not have perfect coverage.

Skill lag is a server issue and since there has been no adequate population management since the launch of the game I agree and I bet Anet feels the same way;

We have created these massive gaming communities on JQ/BG/SoR and these servers are our home / pride if Anet tried to collapse these 3 servers I’m sure they would encounter more than half of the WvW population of this game in opposition to them.

That said collapsing the tier would solve nothing, I know for a fact that if this occurred I would be out talking to guilds I respect many on JQ, DB and BG about creating a omega server, not in numbers but in skilled/like minded guilds which I’m sure would attract a plethora of pugs pushing us back into the same situation as before.

TLDR: Pointless post achieves nothing, please delete and BG/JQ looking for EU players & guilds we offer Vanzan’s Afro and sweet Asuran @$$ on JQ and we have Cuddlestrike/Silverspells fearless EB commander on BG!

It’s cute because of how much complaining we get for getting a couple guilds, in timezones that we need more coverage in, from a server that does vastly more recruiting than us. As EU goes, we are not, nor were, stacked. We simply have some amazingly coordinated guilds and people during that time.

Somehow your tone gives me a surge to write this. So lets begin from the time free transfer ended….
Massive guild transfers happened right before the free transfer ended. First server that got stacked – Jade Quarry. I am skipping this server since too many bandwagon joined and left after that.

Was fun last night in BG BL, JQ and BG were trying to push us off the map and hit a brickwall when they got to our hills. Thanks guys for keep coming over and over trying to take our hills that was fun. dupegate kept coming with omega after omega too the north hills. was fun cuz at one point there was only a few tsym and a couple pugs on whole map yet we were holding off numbers that were 10 times our numbers.

I read some of the posts ih here question why does blackhole cry so much about not having numbers when they have more players than JQ and SoR combined but they are no where to be found. Lost in the black hole somwhere I quess.

As much as I love to see people embellish the truth for a good story this one was lacking context and content.

Those of us on JQ were having the night of our lives farming up the west side of BG BL and getting into BG Garrision. We weren’t there to win the keep just for ourselves as long as it flipped by either side and in doing so we were enjoying the bags that were being delivered to us in the supply corner of Garrison. As we were getting fat on the bag delivery service we had ordered, TYSM/SOR ninjaed our spawn tower and proceeded to try and ninja Bay. Bad move. Considering a guild that prides itself on knowing the “map politics of the 2v1” they should have known what would happen next.

I’m not known for my forgiveness on the battlefield. Greatly enjoyed pushing TYSM and friends all the way back into Hills with our meager force. Things were going well until I noticed backup was called and there were now two SoR zergs running the map. TW/TWL and TYSM. I will give plenty of credit for the hold on hills but let’s face it, Hills is the easiest to hold in the game when it’s upgraded, waypointed, fully supplied with siege maxed out on arrow carts. It was too late in the night (2am EST) to worry about doing a 4 hours hills siege while clearing everything out. We were there to farm until we all got tired and decided to go drool on our pillows.

I know this post is out of character for me but wasn’t fond of the bold face lie of the forces SOR had on the map. Like I said, great hills defense with every available resource but as I’m sure you noticed we didn’t just waste siege and throw everything away on the walls.

Overall it was a fun night. Thank you BG and SOR for the fun fights. There were many guilds I saw out there to thank for those fights and to just name a few ICOA, TYSM, TW, KISS, etc. I know I didn’t know them all and for that I’m sorry.

I’m sure I’ll see many of you on the field.

I don’t think they know WARD well enough to realize the fights are worth more to you guys than the actual capture of any keep. They also don’t realize that hills entrances are the toughest to breach.

I’ve always been curious about that AC on the outside of the Hills lord room. Is that getting LOS through the hallway somehow or is it shooting through the wall? I’ve seen them used against us on the other side (south side of the door) as well.

The whole offensive arrow cart thing during keep/tower siege has really been kitten ing me off lately.

It’s used through the wall there is a bug that allows it to happen if placed correctly. I won’t go into it anymore cause we don’t need more people doing so.

I’m actually curious what JQ was thinking strategy wise on SOR bl. I commanded there all day for 2 days in a row. Both days I intentionally helped JQ yesterday I even opened the south gate of bay for JQ. I did this because SOR always tries to control their whole map, so if jq and bg are on the map sor can’t do that. Plus the fact that today we flipped all of sors objectives so it was all paper. This caused the bg items to be the only upgraded objectives yet jq and sor decide to push it? It makes sense for sor to if jq is cause they don’t want a t3 keep on their map. But what were you thinking jq? I guess I’m just missing the strategic reasoning behind your siege of hills.

I’m not complaining we had amazing fights all day, I’m just wondering why.

BG was/is in 1st place. JQ plays for 1st. Better to help SoR turn your stuff to paper and stop you getting points by tying up your forces.

As someone from JQ who never has the numbers to fight BG or SoR, I feel like those birds almost every day. Reset nights are fun but the lag is terrible and by Wednesday we are outmanned on every map. FUN STUFF! Seriously though, everyone in JQ is sick of the same match-ups and I think its pretty safe to say we wouldn’t mind dropping to any tier if it means new opponents.

We respect the skills JQ and SOR bring to the field every week (ignore the forum warriors that’s part of war tactics). We push each other to learn how to adapt and be the best we can be but I think we are all ready to take a little break from each other.

It’s just… we all know how the other plays at this point. You can make calls in your sleep because there’s little to no surprise anymore. Nothing new to adapt to — tho, the meta change on Tuesday may help a little. I want to face different servers to gain knowledge, and I expect the lower ‘tiers’ learn a lot from us when they get to face us. I’d love to see TC up in our spot, so they can see what they need to do to close the gap on us. We have a beautiful matchup, score-wise (tho it’ll lopside out soon enough), but… it’s just so… meh. Random means random for anyone except T1 NA

Exactly. Its fun learning new opponents but it should still be a fair fight. I remember hearing [AoS] and [TNO] in teamspeak all start laughing last night as we saw BG and SoR come up again as our match-up. I’m sure you guys in SF and those in SG, ACO, WARD, were the same.

I think everyone can sufficiently say there was a lot of hope that the matchups would result in not BG/SoR/JQ just for some I guess change in the matchup. But deep down everyone knows those hopes were bound to be shattered.

i’ve been in BG since Day 1 but quited for 5 – 6 months and just return though. I never seen this obvious double team before.

anyway good game, i hope Jq will drop to the lower tier. So we may have a nicer match up next week.

I was on last night in Aldon’s Ledge trebbing when JQ took Lowlands Keep and SoR stopped reinforcements at spawn. There wasn’t any double teaming involved. We wanted Lowlands cracked, and that was the easiest way to get it done, after being pushed out numerous times by BG.

We tried pushing Jerrifer’s Slough after taking Lowlands, but JQ was dug in too deeply, and we couldn’t make any headway.

Anywhere else in the map, I can’t speak for.

Was there too, BG side. Now, don’t take me wrong, unlike some of my compatriots, apparently, I had fun. Like you’re saying there, we pushed you back numerous times. Not only you, but JQ too. Which meant lots of kills and lots of bags, plus that feeling of being the underdog hero that I dreamt of being when I was a teenager, priceless kitten.

But as much as in the end, I really don’t mind about the obvious 2v1, I still find it hilariously sad to still see people denying that it’s JQ&SoR vs BG. You’re even telling me here that SoR camping our spawn wasn’t 2v1, it was, what? A tactic to crack the keep? whatever you call it, helping the entire JQ map with the entire SoR map against the entire BG map is 2v1, no matter how you call it. Now, nonetheless, it’s probably a bit sad that it took you guys so long, and resorting to such lame tactics to take our keep with twice our numbers.

But again, don’t take me wrong, I don’t mind that and a bunch of us didn’t seem to mind it, from what I heard, starting with our commander. It makes for fun weeks, and wiping the floor with JQ and DB’s faces wasn’t all that fun. Just, at least, have the honesty to admit how you guys work.

Until we get to face SoR without JQ, I salute you, forum and battleground warriors.

Lowlands is one of the easiest keeps to hold on EB everything is uphill and can be turned into chokes. We’ve had days where we fought 6hours in the lords room of lowlands vs two servers it happens its part of the game and everyone has a blast cause those are some of the craziest fights you will ever be a part of.

Pretty much this. I liked last week’s matchup though, that was one of the few where we catch JQ with their pants down and no server to latch their maws onto for a 2v1 week. Just look at the current score, SoR is the real monster here and the reason why JQ is ahead. Catch them alone with a server they haven’t met yet and they’re pretty much meat.

I want more of those just BG vs JQ. Or better yet just a World vs World match with the two of us and that’s it, no third server. No more bragging rights while holding onto Daddy SoR’s hands.

So BG must be so proud of a win over JQ during Dragonbash PVE fest ..with JQ focusing on Dragonbrand nonetheless…

Why on earth would JQ bother with BG when long awaited Dragonbrand landed in T1? our SEA wanted to fight NNK and TFV since forever … and our NA can finally get some RE and Agg blood… and JQ should keep on fight BG … for the N number of times? for points that don’t really matter in the new RNG system?

And there’s the Dragonbash? everyone always say JQ don’t ever need recruit SEA since its JQ’s strongest timezone… but at one moment in time during SEA primetime last week JQ was outmanned on all of its BL with no que on EB…. I was pretty surprised to find the ATM map without a que… and absolutely shocked to see ATM with outmmaned buff on its own map ( and no its not Thursday or Friday..)

well good job BG nonetheless, the number that’s showing up for wvw during dragonbash is something to be envied of

BG won last week props to them. The new matchups have allowed people to reinvigorate a player base as evidenced by some older players coming back for one reason or another. Regardless of the outcome of these matchups they have an added spice because no one knows who they are facing when they que up at the start so just have fun and enjoy the randomness

Fort Aspenwood likely meets all your requirements as they do have a heavily used Teamspeak server, and they probably would commit some fundraising. Their Oceanic and SEA timeslots have plenty of space for you guys to make a name for yourselves and carve your niche in the community.

Not only that, but Fort Aspenwood is probably the easiest server in the top tiers to transfer to. It is rarely ever “Full,” even during NA prime. There’s no need to organize any kind of blackout or spend weeks waiting for the right moment; your transfer is only limited by the flow of gold.

No server is full at the moment. They all had their caps increased.

Large alliance with 4 guilds looking to move into top tier servers. We have 400+ members between all 4 guilds.

Servers we are looking at are Jade Quarry, Blackgate, Sanctum of Rall and Tarnished Coast.

Obviously we are looking for help in our transfer, as in gold, and guilds to lend time to get our influence up. The server we choose must use Teamspeak as the community VOIP.

Our guilds consist of people from all time zones. Are main focus is Oceanic, SEA and Euro.
