Out of curiosity: did JQ had guilds/lots of new people transfer to them while they were in “tier 2”?

We had a few guilds join that helped stabilize some timezones where we were extremely outnumbered but as far as I know we haven’t had more than a few. I believe it was mainly NA guilds that joined us. Also a reinvigoration of a player base that needed a break from the same old matchups. This plus we now have a universalized ATM zerg that all look identical so I think they all combined to make it possible!

atleast mag is showing some life, TC has pretty much quit in t1.

They’re better during the week. Weekends are not their strongest unless they’re steam rolling the other servers.

thats just a bad excuse. Mag is punching 2 tiers above them, yet r showing up.

JQ had the least coverage in t1 for many months, yet they showed up every week to put in the fights.

JQ sorta was built on struggling in T1 most of us faced the original Titan Alliance which makes any other server pale in comparison. Also I have yet to play this matchup but it looks quite fun each side throwing punches in game not a huge fan of the forum drama but it is whatever people make it.

JQ often doesn’t attack FA, and often leave their structures intact.
JQ has spies on DB and ts just to make sure they keep winning.
I am almost certain JQ is making sure we are as close as possible to be outnumbered to make sure we have to pay for the armor repair (as off right now).
The entire day, I barely saw any FA player. If FA plays, they use thieves and attack DG structures and supplies.

I’ll bite. JQ and DB TS are run by the same admin. If you really think JQ is spying just ask that same admin to check and he will handle the issue. He did so when JQ/SoR were fighting and it resulted in a lot of bans for both sides.

JQ has a server wide TS and guilds willing to accommodate you guys either via merge or assisting with influence etc. If you want to talk you can message myself or Woks on Water or Jedbacca for info/sit down talk.

But we arent done fighting.

We had Garrison back within an hour later. In the meantime, I thought it was interesting that JQ zerged Longview to take down my 2nd treb. We ended up taking Longview and Garrison around the same time. Kudos to all the TC who participated in the Battle of TC Garrison. Lord’s circle was up for 10-15 min I think, before JQ finally capped.

This is the first time a lot of our SEA have ever had to face non-stop T1 pressure and it is coming from the strongest SEA force in GW2.

We’ve managed to push Waha to stay up till 4am and forced JQ to use 30+ Omegas on our Garrison after an hours-long battle.

To me, considering how the week started I am so proud of our SEA and call that a major victory. You guys are awesome!

JQ’s sea is not the strongest trust me. BG has 3-4 maps Q’d on the daily. BG also bought JQ’s biggest sea guild as of 1-2 weeks ago.

You seem quite obsessed with BG. And you still mad about a 2v1?

I don’t think he knows too much ATM enjoys fighting WM and the BG SEA too much to go there I think.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support, constructive criticism and understanding regarding the WARD and Aco move. While we all have different points of view, I think we can all agree that this is a game and we are playing it to have fun with our guild and our communities.

What we did was the best choice in this situation for our guild. I still have mad respect for Mance, Jed, Wok, Kada, Ben Sheets and on and on. You guys are great people and I’ll have a great time getting riled up and seeing you guys on the opposing side of the field.

When bay is being trebbed if the enemy is camping the trebs you don’t have much choice but to bunker and hold inner. Its the same of any keep that can be trebbed without ability to be countered. Your best bet is to siege the kitten out of bay and keep them from making serious progress on inner.

I wanted to give props to JQ for their builds. I’ve never fought a server with so many tanky builds. Even the smaller groups are tough as hell. We still get most of them down when we get reasonable group size match ups but it takes waaayy longer than the squishy T2 and below servers. If FA didn’t get night capped every day i think this would be a real close match up with TCs waves of red thrown in to distract you guys half the time. And SOR and BG get back to your thread JQ is ours for this week.

But if SoR and BG stop coming by we might actually start to miss them Just kidding.

JQ won’t be down that much during NA right now you are seeing the biggest reason we lose so bad in T1 0 Euro players like at all, but when NA central to west coast start getting on, and then sea time obviously we will be fine, but sea time to NA logging back on is a HUGE hole

We don’t have 0 EU we just don’t have the numbers other servers do. Our EU that are on log in everyday and work their kitten off and they have earned my respect given the amount of times they enter an engagement outnumbered by 3:1 or greater odds.

Yo dudes, regarding cross-server guilds, I’m pretty sure guild tag is not exclusive, eg you can have multiple guilds with the same tag on different servers.

I’ve guested before to JQ or SoR or somewhere and ran into someone with my own guild tag [DIS] and was trying to figure out why their nameplate was blue instead of gold, until I realized they were in a different guild.

Probably same thing happening here, different guilds, same tag.

Tag’s can be different guild names are unique. But it is MOS glitching. The program is nice but it isn’t without bugs. It bugs sometimes like everything else out there involving Anet But I can assure you that ATM is solely based on JQ but if anyone sees someone running around on different server’s please send any leader on JQ a screenshot and we will ensure it get’s passed on and dealt with

I will add something as well. This applies to both servers in a sense and it would be more or less read the map and sort of judge intentions it’s happened a few times in this matchup so far where golden opportunities to force a 2v1 on someone were blown because a side chose to hit both sides while this is effective in Tier 1 especially you have to use the 2v1 to your advantage to gain points and cap some of the extremely tough things to take such as a t3 full supply hills. In a 1v1 this would be extremely difficult to take but if you have a 2v1 on them the odds increase exponentially. This is just a tip/observation that I’ve noticed.

Honestly after reading the current Tier 1 matchup thread, I have to agree with the OP.

You got guilds transferring off of one Tier 1 server to go to another just to stack up. Its an odd community up there.

Unfortunately the lure of winning the PPT really resonates with people. I really do hope that the future changes ANET is bringing fixes some of these issues of coverage and the stacking of servers.

Big shout out to AGG for going to SoS. I’m sure you choices had more to do with about getting all of your players into a BL than anything…but congrats on making a logical choice of going to a lower Tier server and not bandwagoning(yet again) to a crappy Tier 1 server.

This skill lag is really screwing your zerg fights over. If this ever gets fixed everyone will have to start playing for real. :P

We don’t have queues to begin with on JQ so how would it have anything to do with getting all players into a BL :P

Thanks to Waha that just plunder his own server. Props to BG to have JQ working for them . Overall week great fights. And another great week and much fun. Good job on BG for the win. I am once again happy about this match as JQ is 3rd like always. I love JQ being last whatever is going on.
BG and SoR are both on higher level we need a 3rd server that is worth it, JQ times are over and some guilds are leaving them already, and about RATS its a fake transfered guild it has been formed in JQ to make some kind of misinformation to try to get some transfers ^^. We will keep spying JQ. Well I love wvw and JQ whines.
To explain JQ some things, I have been fighting you in BG server for long and I am doing it in SoR now. BG and SoR have some good friends on both servers to take out JQ from T1. Now you know.

Hey for an update we’re stalled on the decision to move now that we’ve learned we’d lose our Guild upgrade(T6). It would be a very tough pill to swallow to start everything over from new again. This seems to be the hurdle which is holding us back from transfering.

Does anyone have a link to calculator or know the gold cost for upgrading guild to T4/T5?

I don’t know the exact cost but if your looking to continue to do guild missions etc. The upgrades remain in tact on the server you transfer from so if you left say SBI you could guest back to SBI to burn the influence+use any of those upgrades til you got them on your new server.

Massive respect to everyone that has been pulling long hard hours in the trenches, doing some of the most boring and stressful work in wvw.

For months SoR professed a “no overtime” mantra. Whenever BG won, they discredited the victory on account of overtime, claiming we would burnout soon. “SoR would never play overtime just to win!”

Yet now here they are, admittedly playing long, hard, boring and stressful overtime (your words, not mine). Worse still, they’re using it as an excuse to recruit even more guilds. What a joke.

Guilds like HIRE and IRON are just simply helping out their fellow SoR friends from being bullied by the blatant 2v1 from BG and JQ. However, this overtime was not stressed by these guilds. Some leaders even told Rallians to log off if they have to. They just simply couldn’t bear to see SoRs SEA to be bullied and wished to help their friends. Sorry, SoR does not burn out because they do whatever they can to help other within their means, unlike BG.

You just defined overtime in GW2 I just edited your post for you. I’m sure BG does the same for their EU as you do for your SEA. But it’s cool if you don’t see it that way.

What timezone does TIME play in just out of curiosity.

The score is more lopsided than it illustrates. The only reason it is as close as it is would be due in part to solid SEA/NA coverage but when one side has 7 WP’s and the other’s 1 it’s an entirely different story that score doesn’t illustrate exactly right.
