Legendary weapons

Omega Zoa.3859

Hello,
Sorry for my dumb question, but I want ask,
1. How many different legendary weapons can craft in one account?
2. Do I need create more characters and explore all world for Gift of Exploration?
Thank you for answers

Gen 1 legendary require GoE, however gen 2 do not, so you can craft 2 legendaries per character, otherwise gotta make a new one and explore map again for the gift. Please note gifts are account bound, so you can transfer them to your main or what have you.

Am I right that with one account can craft all legendary weapons?

Why not? just give him all the gifts from your other characters and you can craft em all.

Fine as is right now

Please explain how these are fine.

-the OVERWHELMING number of passives on every class
-the lack of build diversity
-elementalist pretty much getting deleted from PvP as it has no other build options
-condi spam faceroll chronomancer
-Reapers that can put insane condi damage while still being a tanky hp pool.
-passive tank bruiser scrapper that is almost unkillable 1v1 (assuming the scrapper isnt completely brain dead)
-Bristleback and Smokescale being the only used ranger pets
-perma evade condi thief
-condi warrior with insane condi damage and passives and regen for days
-dps DH trapper with heals and blocks like a bunker
-Revenants with evades and blocks on almost everything

But nope! PvP is fine. (sarcasm)

Spoken like someone who never touched Rev, as a rev we got nerfed into the ground, and now we are bugged galore.

As for ele, try experimenting a LITTLE, don;t just auto go to metabattle, try new things, from what i seen ele is still in a ok spot, just not god mode anymore.

Revs are in a great spot (yeah bugs suck). They are top tier atm.

Everyone keeps saying “oh just keep experimenting I’m sure ele are fine” how long till you guys finally understand that we’ve been experimenting this entire time most of us never wanted to be a kittening bunker heal bot. We’ve been experimenting for a season now. But we got nerfed across the board what build that wasn’t viable last season would become viable with flat nerfs everywhere??

And your right ele is an okay spot but everyone else is at demi-god or God tier level in comparison…

Hue, yes great spot, Apply any condis on revs and they melt in seconds, “but run mallyx” yeah sure a few seconds of resistance does not do much with the constant condis being thrown around.

I guess its a thing where we think our respective classes are weak, you think ele is weak but rev is in a “great” spot and i think the other way around, ele may not be in a “great spot” but neither is rev.

Less outfits, more armors.

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Their answer to this is that it takes too much time to make armors. Outfits are only a fraction of the time, so they focus on those, and armors will only be released with expansions from what I have gathered.

But think of the profits, i know for a fact WAY more people will buy armor skins, if they invest the time to make outfits into skins more people will buy said skins. Sure people buy outfits, but that number will increase if only they were skins.

Yeah, this gets said a lot, but it needs to be constantly repeated to ANet. Although, I don’t think they’ll ever stop with outfits.
I would have bought so many outfits if they were armors, but because I can’t just use their individual pieces, I haven’t.
I’ve bought two outfits, and honestly, I regret it. Meanwhile I still use my Kryta and Aetherblade and Viper armor pieces quite often.
At the very least, I’d like to be able to hide outfit gloves, shoulders and boots.
Or maybe, if the chest and leggings need to be kept together, allow us to swap head, glove, shoulders and boots between outfits and use armor pieces in those slots too.

Same here lol

Salvage Legendary?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Omega Zoa.3859

Omega Zoa.3859

I am sure you are getting confused. Like others said, they added an ability to salvage gift of fortune because it is not needed for the new legendaries. People had assumed it would be needed and crafted them ahead of time before HoT was released. This obviously led to some upset as you still need 200 of each t6 matterial for the new legendaries; just not the gift of fortune.

So they added a salvage ability so people who crafted the gift of fortune could get their matts back for the new legendary gifts.

And how do you salvage it? The gift i mean, because i checked wiki and doesnt say anything.

Salvage Legendary?

The thing is, it doesn’t make sense. Once you made and equipped a Legendary then you’ve got the skin forever in your wardrobe. You could salvage it, get all the gifts back and make a second, different legendary for a much reduced cost by reusing the gifts. Rinse and repeat for as many times as you like.

Very true, but the rng on pres are quite silly. its the hardest bit to get on a legendary.

Not if you buy it, there’s no RNG.

You could make a legendary, salvage it to get the skin and the gifts back. Buy a second precursor, use the gifts to make it again and sell it to recoup all or most of your cost of the first.

Assuming you have the money yeah.

Just wish there was a dev responses confirming or denying this, this meaning if they plan to add this still, because i remember they wanted to add something like this.

How does one example of a bunch of jerks kicking someone for no apparent reason translate into “elitism, a growing concern”? PUGs are human beings and some of them will be rude, crude, and socially unacceptable (depending, of course, on your idea of society).

If you can document that everyone with <2k AP is getting kicked from every party in which 3+ people have 12k+ AP (or even a plurality of such examples), then by all means: share with ANet your evidence.

Otherwise, just chalk it up to PUGs behaving badly.

So i been exploring this game since release and a couple things and what i consider small but would improve the game..

-NPCs who are underwear actually start wearing waterbreathing masks..This is small but it really breaks my immersion..how do they breath? i mean really.

-Gliding in the Ley Line Hub, i mean i have ley line gliding..why can’t i glide on it..?

-Now..this is a major one and is not quality of life but the variety of destroyers like in gw1..the ones in gw2 are….lazy..i am sure we will see variety return in the expac that involves them but still..

-Possibly allow us to knock off generic mobs off ledges etc and make them suffer fall damage, this does not include event mobs or champions/elites/vets, would be funny to knock off a enemy off a high cliff and just see them die.

-Allow us the players to have a /talk emote..i mean npcs have them, why not us?

Now this is what comes to me at the top of my head…please feel free to add yours to the list avoid things like balance or anything major..i know the destroyer thing is major but it always bothered me the cool destroyers we meet in gw1 are not here.

If you are like me, you have over 150 friends…some of which do not play much and thus you forget who they are..or other times you add a person to do a certain thing. My suggestion is simple, allow us to right click on a friend in the friends list and let us have a option to “add note..” that way we can type something very brief about them so we do not forget who they are.

Omega Zoa.3859

Hello I have not played gw2 for quite awhile and while overlooking the traits for berserker I saw one called “blood reaction” and if my guessing goes right, wouldn’t traiting this while having assassin stats give more dps than berserker? Since having more precision will net me more ferocity.

No because power determines how hard you hit where’as ferocity is the damage multiplier for crits. That and also each class has various ways to augment both their stats and damage output. So if you can maintain 100% crit chance without assassins gear, it’d be better to distribute your stats into other areas (such as power).

Yes, i know what precision, power etc means, but with more precision and combined with the blood reaction trait you will get more ferocity because you get 7%-14% ferocity from your current precision and from assassin’s you get a good handful, and since your multiplier will be higher than the current berserker stats would that not net more dps? since you at this point rely on crit dmg than regular dmg.

Elite Specializations & Hero Point Feedback [Merged]

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Omega Zoa.3859

I knew it.

Cynical mode activate!

I bet that they knew that this would upset players and so they did it on purpose so that they could “fix” it later and get the praise and thanks that everyone is showering them with. The problem is that 250 is STILL too much! What is so special about “elite” specs?! They did this and now they get all of this praise and still get to overly gate content to stretch the expansion out.

These should be equivalent to previous specs in cost. There should be more alternatives to gaining points beyond wvw and HPs in the new area (compare it to leveling if you must, you can level through wvw, pvp, pve, crafting). The masteries should be the leveling equivalent and I think most people are… ok… with that grind.

Also, HPs should ALL be soloable. There isn’t any reason for somebody to go to these HPs once they are done and so in the future these will be impossible to do without organized groups. We have our new organized group content (or will soon anyways) and I’m ok with the challenge that the general pve has (granted it feels a lot like pre-Orr with the ridiculous CC), so why must HPs be group content?! It doesn’t make sense.

geebus….some people can never be happy, bet if they dropped it to 1 you would still complain. I disagreed with this nerf from 400 to 250, but hey 250 is a reasonable number so ill agree with it,its only 25 hero points in the new map, some of which are free :\

Now another patch dropped and yet more tweaks to other classes and warrior is completely left in the dark, we are hearing no changes at all, in pvp we are a joke at the moment, our berserk is basically rampage 0.5 kited to death. Please communicate with us, tell us what are you planning on doing, because at the moment the silence is killing us; sure if you say “no changes” that will upset alot of people but at least we will not be in the dark, from what we heard from twitch you do not view us in all that high regard because we are quote “easy” to play, which is completely untrue, but please throw us a bone.

Ah, you won’t be able to unlock it until you are lvl80 as the elite spec is locked until that as far as I know. Don’t worry though, most of it is HoT stuff. The only weapons needed for it are the Reaper’s Greatsword, a Mystic Greatsword and a Machined Greatsword IIRC. You also need 2 event items from Kessex Hills and Metrica. Rest is locked behind masteries on HoT maps. I cannot check it ingame right now but that should be it.
