Remember when Shiro was revealed on POI and people kitten ed how it looked overpowered and what not but when you actually beta tested it was actually quite weak compared to other classes and needed a buff..same with this I assume..it may look strong..but is it? If you want broken I am going to point at mesmer’s elite.

lol “hype” i was looking forward to “berserker” but now..eh..if this specialization revolves around condi dmg i am done with warrior and moving to rev.

Kinda unfair considering some other classes seem like a direct upgrade..looking at you mesmer and necros… and warrior..ehh…but i am guessing too early..POI shall decide the fate of my warrior.

What’s with people giving up their class because one new line isn’t what they want? You really think Revenant is going to fix all of your issues? If so, no need to even wait on Berserker news…

Also, none of them are direct upgrades. Reaper was actually far worse than standard Cele Ele last BWE, and Chronomancer is only super powerful due to broken mechanics. It had just as much likeliness of being OP as any other trait line, and in fact, Chronomancer wouldn’t be anything if not for other very powerful trait lines that synergies so well with it.

I now understand how eles felt with warhorn..its mainly because the SOUND of torch is “come on now” is best i can describe it as. I know that elites are are suppose to add something new to a class, i know this, but as mentioned before i am judging merely on one image and will deliver my final verdict on the POI, who knows..we could get something as fun as mesmers with their shield…right?…guys….ill go now.

Omega Zoa.3859

First question should be what are u using it for? PvP, general pve, dungeons/factals, or wvw

As i stated in my last sentence, pve mainly, as in dungeons..fracts..that sort of thing, i will not use sigil of night…cause i just do not like the concept of sigils sometimes not working.

As for my build, strength, arms, and disc, general glass cannon pve greatsword warrior build. my armor is of course berserker.

Small question so my runes of strength and sigil of strength annnnd my greatsword on crit gain might do they stack with each other? or am i wasting my slots with the sigil of strength.

Sorry bad grammar.

Hello, i hate to bring up this ol topic..i tried searching for a similar topic but found nothing…So my question is what are the two best sigils to attach to my greatsword on my glass cannon warrior..currently i have sigil of force and sigil of strength, currently i have runes of strength as well, so i am basically rocking 24/7 25 might, but iam curious if my current sigils help in any for my dps, i am looking at sigils of air atm but i dunno…notice..i am pve….please don’t say sigils of night or whatever, not fancying those night time sigils.

Thanks for your time!

Hmmmm, I always thought they were risen champ kraits. The hypnosos? That’s interesting.

The krait seem to be one of the few ebillllll factions in the game, as in they do stuff because they’re jerks and there isn’t much explanation beyond that. Usually I see Gw2 as generally having a pretty politically correct bent to portraying things. (Think: the friendly Centaurs/Dredge so that we know they’re not just all jerks).

Not that it really matters, although I suppose you often run into the generic “always evil” group that does evil stuff even to their own self-detriment. Though I guess that actually happens too sometimes but I will not bring up any real life comparisons. I won’t be surprised if a new area contains ones that aren’t evil in a suicidal way.

Weird..the last thing I’d think after seeing my brothers and sisters killed and turned to zombies was to work alongside them.

Am I the only person who really wishes gliding was designated only for specific “gliding areas”, similar to the way diving goggles work, or perhaps have a cooldown to it? I just feel like gliding will remove any feel of fall damage, and seeing people pop open a glider for the smallest gap is just going to look odd. It takes me back to Aion…

The “gliding areas” are only in HoT zones, there, happy? lol

Reaper Beta feedback.

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Omega Zoa.3859

Omega Zoa.3859

This is meant to group all the Reaper feedback.

My initial PvP impressions.

1- Damage just isnt there.
2- Chill might as well not be there. The combination of slow attack speed and its very short duration unless you go all in, makes it really weak. Even going you still can not keep it up.
3- You get kited to death. Little to no mobility combined with high gap closer CDs and a lack of base +25% move speed makes it very easy to stay away from the reaper.
4- Build up mechanics are a non starter in the world of blow you up meta. The same happens with Hammer and guardian, the hammer is simultaneously their hardest hitting and most defensive weapon and you never see it because the build up required for it to work makes it a non starter. GS on the Reaper is the same, but hits softer, is less defensive and does not sinergize well with Shroud. You end up better served by forgoing everything the reaper brings other than shroud.
5- Grasping darkness needs a MASSIVE and i do mean MASSIVE cooldown reduction, Guardians have 2, 10s CDs gap closers and a teleport. Warriors have 2 gap closers on a single weapon AND bull charge. Necros have neither +25% move speed and no gap closer under 30s CDs. GD needs to be base 10s, its easier to dodge and harder to aim than any of the mentioned above.

3- LOL warriors always had this and we never complained

Big vs small charr, jumping puzzle?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

The JP designers are, for a lack of a better word, completely and utterly evil. Several of the early jumping puzzles heavily incorporated camera manipulation into its design. But what they didn’t account for (or evilly left in) was the fact that each race had different camera positions due to height.

Charr have it the worst due to their bulk. Its worst in precision jump puzzles with narrow beams, low ceilings, or tiny platforms.

I don’t understand the functionality of facial recognition software in the game. Do you just mean video chat? Video chat is a very different technology.

Aside: built-in voice chat would be nice. LOTRO did it and it could be useful in pug situations.

He means stuff that syncs your real face and your toon’s face via cam, so if you open your mouth inrl so does your character.

Everquest 2 had thus and it’s a very old game.

And to the people who say “char and asura will be difficult to blah blah”, everquest 2 also had beasty races and managed it still, quite well may I add.

I always thought that when there was going to be an expansion we would have at least gotten 1 new race to play as (Tengu what I was hoping for) because usually that’s what expansions bring is a new race or two. Instead we just get a new… profession. Mind you, for races that’s been around since day 1. Well, that’s fine but still I’m disappointed there is no new race especially after 2 years.
